The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

“What?” Scott asked.
“We don’t need them at all. You can use teleportation spells on them,” Cedric said.
"Shh." Scott made a shushing gesture, then laughed and said, "This is fun too, isn't it?"
“Hmm…you’re right.” Cedric thought for a moment and smiled.
Scott winked at him, then transformed into a peregrine falcon once more and flew to the other side.
After working for another hour, they finally finished most of the work.
Of course, the first floor of the tower was completed by students other than the "pilots".
After the work was completed, Scott shrunk the crows back to their original size, and everyone ran to the edge of the meadow to admire their successful work from afar.
However, they quickly gave a rather nuanced assessment of their own work.
"Um……"
"I don't know why..."
"It looks like a giant Christmas tree."
With its pointed towers adorned with all sorts of decorations, doesn't it look just like a giant Christmas tree?
Scott had anticipated this.
But he found it quite interesting, so he didn't say anything just now.
"Why didn't I notice that when I was looking at the model?" Angelina asked, her voice full of confusion.
“There’s nothing wrong with a Christmas tree,” Fred quickly said. “At least it’s bigger than all the Christmas trees in Beauxbatons!”
Angelina added, "Oh, maybe we'll need to install some sparkly little colored lights so it will look better at night."
Hearing her suggestion, the girls' eyes lit up again.
Scott immediately said, "We can leave the task of making the fairy lights to Fred; he's best at making fun little gadgets."
"That's right!"
"It's up to you, Fred!"
"This is what you do best!"
"It's just a magic lamp, that shouldn't be too difficult for you!"
The boys quickly echoed Scott's words, handing over this glorious and arduous task to Fred.
"We can't worry about installation issues either."
Scott took his flying broomstick out of the shapeshifting lizard skin bag and handed it to Fred.
"You can borrow my flying broom!"
Fred looked at Scott in disbelief.
"very good!"
Seeing that Fred did not move, Angelina reached out and took Scott's flying broom, and slapped Fred hard on the back.
"Quick! Quick! Get moving, Fred!"
“No, you’ve got it wrong,” Fred said, frowning. “George is the one who’s good at making gadgets…”
"Stop arguing!"
Angelina glared at him again.
Fred wanted to drag Scott down with him, "Scott..."
But the moment his eyes met Scott's, Scott immediately turned away.
"Let's go! Let's get some ice from the lake and make some ice sculptures!"
With that, he turned and left.
"good idea!"
The other boys all followed behind him in a flurry.
In that instant, Scott felt as if he could hear Fred's heart breaking.
But he didn't look back; instead, he strode away ruthlessly.
A group of people ran to the lakeside and couldn't help but burst into laughter, which caused the Durmstrang students in the ghost ship to stick their heads out of the cabin.
Scott laughed and said, "Making magic lamps isn't difficult, but think about it, how many magic lamps would Fred need to make to decorate the entire tower?"
“Obviously, the answer is countless, and we can’t use a copying charm on the magic lamp.” Cedric shook his head.
Roger said, "Oh, poor Fred, I'm afraid he won't be able to attend the Christmas ball tonight!"
This is a simple truth that's easy to understand, but girls are sometimes unwilling to reason with each other.
In short, until Angelina truly realizes reality, poor Fred can only keep trying.
"Look at this ice..."
Scott took a few steps forward and tried to use a cutting spell on the ice.
Unfortunately, his cutting spell failed to break through the thick ice layer, leaving only a few deep white marks on the ice surface.
"Crushed to pieces!"
Roger used a more destructive Shattering Curse.
The ice layer that Scott had previously damaged exploded instantly, turning into flying fragments, and everyone hurriedly cursed and dodged.
"It doesn't seem to be working?"
Roger smiled and put away his wand.
"I'll try again."
Scott transformed into a peregrine falcon once again, flew to the center of the lake, and then transformed back into human form in mid-air.
Using his cloak to float temporarily in the air, he drew his wand and waved it downwards.
"Thunderous explosion!"
The moment the spell was cast, he transformed into a peregrine falcon and flew even higher.
boom!
A loud bang came from below first.
Click, click...
Cracks began to spread across the ice.
Once all the commotion subsided, Scott landed on the undamaged section of the ice and waved to the group of people on the shore.
His classmates quickly ran over.
Scott pointed to the largest piece of ice in the split, “We’ll use the teleportation spell to bring it back.”
Everyone took out their wands and cast spells on the ice.
Under the combined effect of everyone's spells, the giant block of ice slowly rose and floated in the air.
"Let's go, let's take it back first!"
Scott led everyone to carry the huge block of ice to the tower.
The girls all ran out of the tower, and Fred, of course, ran faster than everyone else.
"Oh my god, what a huge block of ice!" he exclaimed dramatically. "Do you need my help?"
Nobody paid him any attention.
Cedric patted Scott on the shoulder. "I think it's time to see what you do next."
Upon hearing his words, the others stepped back and handed the space over to Scott.
Scott did not refuse. He thought about it and quickly came up with an idea.
He stepped forward, wand in hand, slowly chanting a spell as he firmly swung the wand, finally pressing the tip directly against the ice.
Soon, the originally very hard ice softened and began to flow like mud.
At the same time, strings of ancient runes began to spread across the surface of the ice, centered on the tip of Scott's wand.
The flowing ice was stretched and then moved, first meandering upwards around the tower's surface, and then quickly being molded into a specific shape out of thin air.
When the ice hardened again, Scott's transformation magic came to an end.
He transformed the ice into four crystal-clear animals.
At the top of the tower is a lithe eagle, its talons gripping the top, its wings spread, ready to take flight.
The tower's body is shaped like a winding snake, with the snake's body coiled around the tower and its mouth wide open, resembling a hunting predator.
Beside the tower stands a majestic lion, its four limbs slumped against one side of the tower, its eyes slightly narrowed, its expression languid.
In front of the tower are adorable badgers, with honey badgers resting their forelegs on the gate steps, looking back and to the side, alert and agile.
Although the four enormous animals are made of ice, they are full of detail and lifelike.
Scott looked at his work, then estimated his remaining magic, and felt satisfied.
Before drinking the mana-boosting potion, he would have had very little mana left after performing such a large-scale transformation. Now, however, he has plenty of mana and could even perform it again.
Everyone looked up and stared for a while before offering their opinions.
"Well done, Scott."
"I have to say, the tower looks much better now than it did before."
"Excellent! Both majestic and beautiful!"
They soon started arguing again.
"I like the eagle the most."
"No, snakes are more imposing."
"If you ask me, the lion is the most powerful!"
