The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Unfortunately, he still found nothing.
At the same time, more questions began to arise in his mind.
Kevin said his brother had an accident here, but it was just a flat meadow with nothing but standing stones.
Even in such a place shrouded in dense fog, the probability of an accident is extremely small, almost impossible.
Could his brother really have just smashed his head against the rock and died?
Shaking his head, Scott paused for a moment under each of the standing stones, installing his prepared "eyes" on each one.
Finally, he walked to the edge of the cape and faced the sea.
He waited quietly until Rimbaud descended from the sky with a massive flock of crows.
“Long time no see.” Rimbaud stopped abruptly on Scott’s shoulder. “My friend.”
Scott smiled. "Long time no see, my friend. You've had a long time."
Rimbaud jumped, turned around, and looked at the standing stones behind Scott.
"Is this the place?" it asked curiously. "It doesn't look like anything special."
“Maybe it’s just not the right time yet,” Scott said.
He turned around and looked at Lishi.
“However, this place is very much like the Sea of Oaks,” Rimbaud added. “I mean the rocks around the largest oak tree.”
Scott nodded.
They do look very similar.
However, similar megalithic structures are not the only ones in the British Isles. Not to mention Broadgay Stone Circle, which is only 1.2 kilometers away, the Solo Stone Circle on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, is world-famous.
However, the stones of the Stenes Standing Stones are quite different from those of the Stonehenge in the Sea of Oaks and the Stonehenge in Salisbury Plain.
The stones here are very thin, making them look more like irregularly shaped stone tablets.
“Let the crows go,” Scott said.
Rimbaud nodded and chirped a few times.
Instantly, the flock of crows that had been lying on the grass around Scott all took flight.
They flew around the area of the standing stone a few times, like a dark cloud, before landing one after another.
Soon, crows were everywhere, both on the standing stones and inside and outside the circle surrounding them.
"Now, let's wait for the moment of sunrise."
Scott turned back to face the sea, sat cross-legged, and watched the moon about to sink into the ocean.
As the moon sank in the west, the horizon in the east subtly changed.
“It has begun,” Rimbaud said.
"Ah."
Scott slowly stood up.
Where the sea meets the sky, the blue sky slowly turns purple, and then a faint red appears.
That was a sign of the rising sun.
Quiet.
It was eerily quiet.
I don't know when it started, but the sounds of the rolling waves and the blowing sea breeze have disappeared.
Scott realized he couldn't hear anything. He turned to look at Rimbaud as he opened his mouth, but he couldn't hear what he was saying either.
[A silent place, a tower extending towards the earth's core.]
Is this what the Silent Land means?
Scott reached out and stroked Rimbaud's feathers, calming its restlessness.
He turned around and found that he could no longer see the grass where the base of the standing stones connected.
I don't know when it started, but a layer of white mist covered the entire meadow.
The fog churned and rose slowly, like stagnant water.
Soon, the thick fog had already submerged half of the standing stone.
Scott stood at the edge of the cape, quietly watching this magical scene.
The swirling fog seemed to be confined by the moat surrounding the standing stone.
The inside and outside of the trench were almost two different worlds.
Just then, Scott caught a glimpse of an even more vibrant color out of the corner of his eye.
He turned his head and looked eastward.
On the horizon, the red glow is spreading, staining half the sky.
Where the most brilliant colors are, the yet-to-be-sunrise sun is clearly about to emerge.
Scott still couldn't hear anything more.
He tried to open his mouth and say two sentences.
He could feel the vibrations in his throat and chest, but he couldn't hear a sound.
He felt Rimbaud jump on his shoulder and then flap his wings at him.
Scott glanced at it, then followed its gaze to the standing stone.
At this moment, the inside of that trench had become a vast white world.
Only a small section of the tallest standing stones remained, not yet submerged by the thick fog.
Scott took out the [Magic Mirror] and viewed the footage monitored by the "eyes" he had installed on the standing stone.
But the fog was too thick, and he couldn't see anything.
Scott glanced back at the sun peeking out with its golden edge, then walked a short distance to the edge of the trench and spread out his magical perception.
But he was shocked to find that he had failed.
The magical perception that had been invincible before vanished completely upon entering the mist, as if a clay ox had disappeared into the sea.
Scott could not perceive anything in the fog.
His expression turned somewhat serious.
This is indeed very unusual.
An extraordinary event beyond imagination.
Losing his invincible magical senses, Scott felt extremely uncomfortable, as if he were experiencing blindness for the first time.
He had almost forgotten how he spent his time when he couldn't perceive his surroundings.
Rimbaud flapped his wings at him again.
Scott looked back at the sea.
At this moment, the golden sun had already peeked over the horizon, casting a golden path on the sea.
The morning light shone on the thick fog within the standing stone circle, like watercolor, dyeing the white fog with a thin layer of warm color.
But Scott was now in a dilemma.
[The island in the far north, the place where the shadow of the standing stone points on the longest day of the year.]
Where does the shadow come from on the standing stone shrouded in thick fog?
Chapter 497 Unexpected Changes
The sun is rising.
Scott stood outside the Stennis Standing Stone, outside the circular moat.
He frowned slightly, looking at the thick fog that lingered within the circular space enclosed by the trench.
At this moment, all the standing stones were shrouded in mist.
Scott could neither see them nor perceive them.
The prior arrangements did not seem to have any effect.
The "eyes" placed on the standing stone were obscured by thick fog, and the crows had disappeared.
Scott turned to look at Rimbaud, who was perched on his shoulder.
Since sound could not travel at this time, the "Blackwing Lord" was also unable to give orders to the crows.
But Scott did have other options.
He took off his backpack, pulled out his wand and [the severed arm bone] from it, and then placed the backpack at his feet.
As he waved his wand, several crows emerged from the tip of the wand.
They seemed frightened, flapping their wings and flying to Rimbaud, calling out with their mouths open.
Unfortunately, neither Scott nor Rimbaud could hear their calls at this point.
Soul-stealing and mind-grabbing!
Scott silently chanted the spell and waved his wand again.
Then, he vaguely sensed the message the crow was trying to convey.
After being engulfed by the white mist, it felt powerless and had no way to escape until Scott used the contract to summon them.
Upon receiving this information, Scott's gaze towards the thick fog became even more serious.
Although the fog remained confined to the trench and did not spread outwards, Scott still picked up his backpack and took several steps back for safety.
However, at a certain moment, a strange phenomenon seemed to appear in the white mist in his eyes.
Scott immediately stopped and paced back and forth within a few steps, searching for the same angle from which he had caught a glimpse earlier.
