“We are about to face a brutal war,” Ms. Burns said. “To avoid your home being affected, it’s better to go outside.”

"It's alright... Minister..."

Perhaps because the rapid movement of her legs had made her a little out of breath, Umbridge almost couldn't maintain the sweetness in her voice.

"Although this is my favorite place to live... I can give it up if it's for work."

"No need."

Ms. Burns was adamant.

The group quickly left the house and went outside.

Although it was late at night, the moonlight was bright enough to see one's surroundings clearly.

Scott discovered that this was a very small island, not much larger than the house behind him.

He also sensed that there were traces of magic everywhere, concealing the entire island.

Scott couldn't help but ask Dumbledore, "Professor, what exactly is the plan? What's the significance of choosing this location?"

Dumbledore told him that the plan was to use the Vanishing Cabinet to launch a preemptive attack on Voldemort and the Death Eaters, taking advantage of their sleeping hours at night to catch them off guard.

Of course, if Scott could use super magic to expand the space, their chances of winning would be even greater.

The reason for choosing this location is that it is very remote and secluded.

Even if Voldemort and the Death Eaters gain the upper hand in the battle and catch up with them through the Vanishing Cabinet, they can still retreat calmly thanks to the prior arrangements here.

Remote? Secluded?

Aren't places like this everywhere?

Perhaps sensing Scott's confusion, Dumbledore smiled and said, "After all, Ms. Umbridge is the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Magic."

So, Minister Bones had to give her face?

Scott was immediately disappointed.

He always felt that this added an unstable element to an important operation.

Thinking about the mirrors he had just seen, he suddenly had a flash of inspiration.

"Professor, I've come up with a better idea."

He said to Dumbledore.

"Oh?"

Dumbledore was somewhat surprised.

Scott gestured with his eyes, and the two walked to the side.

He said, "I think waiting passively might be better than taking the initiative."

Dumbledore shook his head. "Waiting for them to run into our trap? Unless we keep the Vanishing Cabinet in that Slytherin dorm room, we can only catch one person at most."

Scott certainly understood that he couldn't do that; the risk was too great.

But everyone had fallen into a misconception.

“We can replicate a Slytherin bedroom elsewhere, or even the entire Slytherin common room.”

For wizards like him and Dumbledore, who were masters of transfiguration, doing this was not difficult at all.

"Of course, to make it more realistic, we could set up the battlefield near Hogwarts, on the other side of the Black Lake."

"Oh...you're right."

Without Scott needing to say anything more, Dumbledore already understood everything.

By replicating a fake dormitory, along with meticulously planned countermeasures, and using an anti-apparition spell, the chances of victory can be greatly increased.

Once Voldemort and the Death Eaters take the bait, Scott could even use Yggdrasil to temporarily create a space and trap them completely.

He has a one-time use magic stone and a [magic crystal], which makes it entirely possible for him to do this.

If the Vanishing Cabinet weren't unable to traverse multiple spaces, they could have even set up the battlefield directly within the Eye of Odin space.

"It seems we need to change our plans."

Dumbledore immediately adopted Scott's suggestion.

He found Ms. Burns, who was making preparations, and spoke to her quietly for a few minutes.

Ms. Burns immediately announced the change of plans in public.

Everyone was shocked to hear her words.

But when she asked Dumbledore to reveal his new plan, everyone thought about it and changed their minds, feeling that the new plan was better.

So Scott and his group returned to Hogwarts through the fireplace.

Instead of staying in the principal's office, they went straight out of the castle, took a boat across the Black Lake, and arrived on the other side of the lake.

Ms. Burns and Shackle, along with a large force of Aurors, had already arrived here via Apparition.

Next, Dumbledore and Scott worked together to cast a spell, creating another Slytherin House site underground by the lake.

Everything, including the dormitories and common rooms, is exactly the same as the Slytherin House grounds inside Hogwarts.

Of course, since Scott wasn't very familiar with Slytherin's territory, Dumbledore did most of the work on the transformation, while Scott mainly used his magic to help stabilize the transformation effect.

Chapter 525 End all this as soon as possible

The transformation, which was extremely large and incredibly detailed, was completed in one go, leaving even Dumbledore somewhat out of breath.

He paused for a moment before proceeding to the next step.

Scott followed him into the transformed Slytherin common room, where he placed surveillance cameras in various hidden locations.

Finally, they placed the vanished cabinet under a bed in a dormitory room in the same location.

When they emerged from underground, the others had already set up anti-Apparition spells around them.

"Now all we have to do is wait."

Dumbledore breathed a sigh of relief and told Minister Burns to take the others away for the time being.

Ms. Burns nodded and led the main force to hide in the distant woods.

In the end, only Scott and Dumbledore remained in the same place.

"Are you alright, Professor?"

Scott glanced at Dumbledore with concern.

He was worried that the old headmaster might not be able to hold on, as he might have to fight Voldemort next.

"Don't worry."

Dumbledore appeared to have returned to normal.

"Voldemort won't get here so soon."

He turned and walked with Scott into the nearby woods, taking out the [magic mirror] that Scott had left with him.

What followed was a long wait.

Scott and Dumbledore kept staring at the surveillance footage in the Magic Mirror.

They waited for more than two hours, until just before dawn, before they finally saw a hand emerge from the vanishing cabinet under the bed.

The horror-movie-like scene immediately snapped Scott out of his daze.

"Here I am," he said softly.

“Yes, they’re here,” Dumbledore said.

Soon, a thin figure crawled out from under the dark bed.

It's Malfoy Jr.

His face was very pale, and he stood there waiting with a fearful expression.

Then, his three companions climbed out of the vanishing cabinet one by one.

Their faces also looked very pale, as if they had been greatly frightened.

Scott exclaimed in surprise, "The mysterious man actually sent these young people to lead the charge?"

Dumbledore sighed. "Tom hasn't changed at all."

At this moment, they all tacitly avoided mentioning the name "Voldemort," lest Voldemort discover their location.

Malfoy and his companions didn't have to wait long. Soon, Bellatrix Lestrange, sporting a head of messy black hair, crawled out of the Vanishing Cabinet.

"Aunt Bella."

The terrified Malfoy let out a timid cry.

"Shut up, Draco."

Bellatrix Lestrange glared at him fiercely.

Her attitude towards young Malfoy was nothing like that of a close relative or elder.

Malfoy immediately stopped talking, took a few steps back, and squeezed into a corner of the dormitory with his friends.

Bellatrix Lestrange then stepped aside as well.

Scott then noticed that she was walking with a slight limp.

He couldn't help but smile as he recalled the bite Golza had given the woman last semester.

Golza's saliva is highly poisonous. Although Bellatrix Lestrange escaped quickly at the time, it now appears that she missed the optimal treatment time, resulting in some aftereffects.

Or perhaps Snape didn't do his best to cure her?

He had barely thought of Snape when Snape himself appeared on the surveillance footage.

He was still wearing that dark black robe, with greasy black hair.

After climbing out of the vanishing cabinet, he walked alone to the window and stared at the Black Lake scenic spot outside the glass, lost in thought.

Scott had always been curious: with Snape as a double agent, why did Dumbledore wait until the Vanishing Cabinet incident to think of using it to find Voldemort's hideout?
