The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Mr. Grevis said, "I only informed you and Dumbledore."
“Then Dumbledore will inform Ms. Burns,” Scott said.
“Where is Grandfather?” Milton asked.
He's downstairs.
Mr. Grevis said with a wry smile.
He dismissed my wariness with disdain.
Milton asked, "Is he very confident in the safe house he's built?"
"Who knows?"
Mr. Grevis was somewhat helpless.
"Although he is my father, I have never understood him."
Scott said, "Since I'm a guest, I still have to go and greet the host."
"Come with me."
Mr. Grevis led the two men downstairs.
Old Mr. Grevis was sitting on the sofa in the downstairs hall, directly opposite the door.
He was neatly dressed and had a serious expression, but he showed no sign of panic.
“Father,” Mr. Grevis called out.
Mr. Grevis did not turn his head or respond.
“Grandfather,” Milton called out respectfully.
Mr. Grevis finally turned around.
What are you doing back here?
He looked at Milton as if he were looking at a stranger.
As for Scott, a complete stranger, his attitude was to ignore him entirely.
"I……"
Milton was clearly terrified of his grandfather.
Almost as a reflex, he became somewhat incoherent after being stared at by old Mr. Grevis.
“This…this is my good friend Scott. My father asked him to come and help, so…I came back with him.”
Only then did old Mr. Grevis finally look at Scott with an appraising gaze.
"Hello, Mr. Grevis."
Although he wasn't exactly friendly, Scott still maintained his politeness.
“I told you long ago, you can all leave.”
Old Mr. Grevis turned and continued to look at the closed door.
“I don’t need any help.”
Scott said, "Whatever they want to do, breaking into a wizard's house is illegal, and the Ministry of Magic is aware of this and they won't ignore it."
Old Mr. Grevis dismissed his statement, saying, "Hmph, the Ministry of Magic has too many things to meddle in. When will they ever be able to manage them all?"
Just then, an explosion was heard outside.
"They've started their attack!"
Mr. Grevis quickly ran to the window.
Scott and Milton joined in as well.
Just then, outside the courtyard, a man in a green robe cast an explosive spell on the gate.
However, the seemingly simple wooden gate remained undamaged.
Witnessing this, Mr. Grevis turned around and looked at his father with a surprised expression.
Mr. Grevis remained seated comfortably on the sofa, without making any movement.
Boom! Boom! Boom...
Then came a series of explosions.
The green-robed men began attacking the gate and low walls from all directions, but the seemingly fragile gate and walls remained standing.
"That's amazing..."
Scott narrowed his eyes.
As the opponent attacked, he could see clearly that the seemingly simple gate and walls, as well as every paving stone in the courtyard, bore traces of ancient magical runes.
From Scott's perspective, old Mr. Grevis's mastery of ancient runes was not sophisticated, and was even somewhat rudimentary.
But as Medea commented, this was a "fortress of security" he had spent his entire life building, relying on sheer numbers to achieve victory.
On every unassuming brick and wooden plank, there are layers upon layers of ancient magical runes, the number of which is simply countless.
Scott couldn't help but admire the old man's perseverance and meticulousness.
“Professor Dumbledore and his party have arrived,” Milton said.
Scott and Mr. Grevis also saw the group of people appear outside the gate.
Besides Dumbledore, there was a team of Aurors led by Moody.
Upon seeing their arrival, the green-robed men all stopped their attack.
"Let's go out too."
As Mr. Grevis spoke, he turned and glanced at Mr. Grevis.
But old Mr. Grevis kept his eyelids drooping and didn't respond.
Mr. Grevis seemed to take this as tacit consent, opened the front door, and went into the yard.
"……Feel sorry."
After stepping outside, they heard a charming and alluring female voice.
A woman with her back to them turned towards Dumbledore and his companions and lifted her hood.
"This is a family dispute within the Grevis family."
"It's Zabini!"
Mr. Grevis stared at the retreating figure, his face grim.
"Oh, you've finally shown up, Charles Grevis."
Mrs. Zabini glanced back at Mr. Grevis, then turned back to Dumbledore and the Auror squad.
"I think neither the Aurors of the Ministry of Magic nor the headmaster of Hogwarts have the right to interfere in family disputes."
Dumbledore didn't speak, but Moody wasn't going to give Mrs. Zabini any face.
He asked dismissively, "What family dispute? This is old Grevis's house, not yours."
“But my husband is hiding here and won’t go home or see me.”
Mrs. Zabini said in a mournful tone.
"I asked some friends for help, just to get him to appear in front of me, what's wrong with that?"
Moody kept turning his magic eye, as if observing everyone present.
He said curtly, "You attacked old Gravis's house, and he has the right to seek help from the Aurors."
“You’re right, Mr. Moody.”
Mrs. Zabini chuckled.
"I didn't think this through. It was all because I was too angry. I will apologize to my father properly later."
Scott couldn't see Mrs. Zabini's face, but he could see that several young Aurors behind Moody were blushing.
Only Nymphadora Tonks was rolling her eyes wildly.
"Don't try to cover up your lies, Zabini."
Mr. Grevis took a few steps forward.
"We know what you want."
"What do you think I want, Charles?"
Mrs. Zabini turned around and looked at Mr. Grevis with gentle, tender eyes.
"I'm just a poor woman desperate to win back her husband."
"you……"
Mr. Grevis couldn't help but take a step back, his face looking as if he had swallowed a fly.
“It’s no use saying anything, Zabini.”
Moody was getting impatient.
"Whatever your purpose, it is a fact that you attacked old Grevis's house. In any case, all of you must go to the Ministry of Magic."
Mrs. Zabini seemed very cooperative. "Of course I'm willing to go to the Ministry of Magic to explain things clearly, and I'm also willing to compensate my father for his losses, but my friends are only here to help, so they don't need to go, right?"
Moody insisted, "There is no room for negotiation on this matter."
"Father!"
Mrs. Zabini suddenly shouted loudly.
"This is a private matter for the Gravis family. Are you sure you want the Ministry of Magic involved? I am a member of the Gravis family!"
Scott watched in surprise as old Mr. Grevis came out of the house.
“I’m sorry, Moody, I did not seek the help of the Aurors.”
The old man spoke to Moody with a stern face.
