The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Scott nodded in agreement at first, then asked, "Are there even more powerful beasts ahead?"
“There are indeed more powerful beasts,” Savannah said with a smile. “While they may not be very strong, they might be of some help.”
Scott understood. "It seems your goal is very clear."
Savannah told him, “This information is recorded in our family records. My ancestors once served the Fairy Queen who ruled Avalon, and we know everything about this place.”
What followed was another journey of constantly fighting off various wild beasts.
Before nightfall, they finally emerged from the oak forest and arrived at the edge of a vast swamp.
Scott looked up at the dim sky.
"It seems there is a normal day-night cycle here too."
Savannah said, "Crossing the swamp at night would be dangerous; we'll continue tomorrow."
Scott had no objection.
He looked curiously at the mirror-like, calm, and clear swamp. "What's in there?"
Savannah said, "A group of lake nymphs once lived here. Although they have disappeared, they left behind the Green Knights."
"Green Knight?"
Scott had also heard of this legendary name.
"An invisible and mysterious creature, possessing intelligence, and very dangerous."
Savannah explained.
"They only obey the siren of the lake, and after the siren of the lake disappears, they will actively attack any creature that passes through this swamp."
Scott asked, "If that's the case, why don't we fly there?"
Savanna looked up at the increasingly dark sky. "The sky above this swamp is forbidden."
Scott raised an eyebrow and waved his wand.
A raven emerged from the tip of the wand and flew forward.
Once it flew over the swamp, it began to fall straight down.
"Gah...gagga..."
The crow cawed in panic, flapping its wings frantically, but it couldn't stop its descent.
Scott waved his wand again to pull it over, but the calm lake began to bubble.
The water churned and gathered, forming a tall human figure.
The figure swung its arm and used an axe, also formed from flowing water, to cleave the crow in two.
Then it turned its head and stared at Scott and Savannah with its two glowing green eyes.
"This is the Green Knight?"
Scott looked at the other person with great interest.
"His body is water?"
Savannah said, "Its body is invisible and more elusive than a ghost. When it attacks, it gathers water and transforms into a human form. In addition, it can manipulate water into weapons and mounts."
Scott raised an eyebrow. "So, even if we shatter its body formed from flowing water, we can't truly harm it?"
"That's exactly right."
Savannah and the Green Knight stared at each other.
"But as long as we don't step into the swamp, it won't attack us."
As soon as she finished speaking, the Green Knight's body turned into water and fell down, and the swamp returned to calm as the water rippled.
“It’s foggy,” Savannah said again.
A thin mist rose slowly from the swamp and drifted gently.
The fog grew thicker and thicker in a very short time, quickly enveloping the entire swamp.
“Is this the danger you’re talking about?” Scott asked.
If you cross the swamp at night, you will be trapped in a thick fog where you can't see your hand in front of your face. You will not only lose your way completely, but you will also have to deal with attacks from the Green Knights.
Savannah nodded. "In foggy conditions, the Green Knight can even condense his body using the fog."
"That is indeed very dangerous."
Scott turned around, bent down to pick up dry branches from the ground, and prepared to start a campfire.
"You haven't told us how we should deal with them yet."
"Use fire."
Savannah also came over to help.
"As long as we raise our torches, they dare not come near us."
Scott said, "But they can drill through the bottom of our ship."
Savannah laughed and said, "So our boat has to be very sturdy."
Scott nodded. "No problem."
The two of them clung to the tree branch and found an open space.
Scott arranged the branches and lit the campfire.
Then, he used two thick tree branches to make two chairs.
"What if we want to eliminate the Green Knight?"
After he sat down, he took out some food and gave it to Savannah.
"Let's use fire."
Savannah leaned her long wooden cane against the tree, sat down, took the food, and warmed the bread by the fire.
"After they gather into a stream of water and take on a human shape, their bodies must be instantly vaporized by extremely high-temperature fire."
"I see."
Scott nodded and began to eat.
Savannah said, "Salazar Slytherin has come and gone, and he should be able to pass this information on to Medea Slytherin, so we may not be able to reach Apple Isle in the middle of the swamp faster than her."
“It’s alright.” Scott smiled slightly. “Arriving before Medea isn’t necessarily a good thing.”
"I understand what you're betting on."
Savannah picked up the freshly baked bread, which smelled of wheat.
"You're betting that Medea Slytherin isn't so obedient."
Scott said, "Everyone knows what I'm betting on, and I think that's why your grandfather and the others didn't stop Medea from entering the passage."
Savannah said, "You want to see Medea Slytherin betray her father, but there's no guarantee that."
Scott laughed. "That would be great."
Savannah asked, "What if Medea Slytherin had always sided with her father?"
Scott said, "I'm ready."
Savannah didn't ask him what his specific preparations were; she simply said, "Since you're so confident, I won't ask."
"I must have confidence in myself."
After dinner, Scott took out two tents, set them up next to the campfire, and then cast defensive and early warning spells around them.
After saying goodnight to each other, he and Savannah went to their respective tents to sleep.
The peaceful night passed quickly.
When Scott emerged from his tent in the early morning, Savannah was already up.
She stood in front, watching the sunrise reflected in the swamp.
"Good morning."
Scott walked over and watched the sunrise as well.
By this time, the thick fog over the swamp had dissipated, and the gentle morning light had painted the mirror-like water surface with a warm hue.
"Is this sun a false illusion, or a reflection of the real sun?"
“I’ve heard about the Tower of Babel.”
Savannah turned to look at Scott.
"Luna told me."
“She asked for my opinion on this,” Scott said. “I think I can tell you.”
"You want to create a new world with only wizards and magic."
Savannah smiled slyly.
"So, is the sun in the new world a false illusion, or a reflection of the real sun?"
Scott suddenly understood.
“False illusions cannot nourish anything,” he said.
So that means...
Since there are living beings in both Avalon and the Eye of Odin, the sunlight there must be real sunlight.
The skies in the Niflheim and Jotunheim realms may be illusions, as neither realm is barren and devoid of any living creatures.
But how did those ancient wizards manage to make the real sun shine into another dimension?
“You should start building a ship,” Savannah reminded her.
“You’re right.” Scott snapped out of his reverie.
However, the two had breakfast before building the ship.
After breakfast, Scott cut down an oak tree, cleared away the branches and leaves, and turned the oak trunk into a small boat that could carry four people.
