He was more inclined to believe it was some kind of grand magical oath than a legend of dragons.

It's like prohibiting flying over a swamp.

Savannah shook her head; she wasn't sure if there really was a giant dragon dominating the sky.

Scott didn't hesitate.

"Since we're in a hurry, let's speed things up."

As he spoke, he prepared to summon Horus, so that Horus could manipulate the power of the wind to increase their speed.

"I have a great solution."

Savannah immediately raised the long wooden staff in her hand.

A green halo spread out, enveloping her and Scott.

Scott instantly felt his body become much more agile, and his limbs became stronger.

"Let's run!"

As she spoke, she lowered her body slightly and, like a cheetah, instantly accelerated forward.

Scott, maneuvering his now more agile and powerful body, gave chase.

The two ran and leaped through the thorny thicket as if it were flat ground, and wherever they went, the thorny vines made way for them.

The sky was getting dark.

The thicket of thorns grew even darker.

The moon is about to rise.

Scott was breathing slightly heavily.

Are these moon vines afraid of fire?

"Unfortunately, they are not afraid."

Savannah's breathing sounded smoother than Scott's.

"Almost there, let's rush out in one go!"

As she spoke, she accelerated again, almost becoming a blur as she ran.

Even though she was still carrying that long wooden staff, it did not affect her agile figure in the slightest.

Scott flicked his wand, using the cloak to lighten his weight as he sped forward.

In this way, he was not left behind by Savannah.

"It seems too late!"

Sensing the overwhelming, almost frenzied, magical energy fluctuations around him, he quickly spoke up to warn them.

"you go first!"

Savannah stopped in her tracks.

"I'll suppress them!"

"Armor protects you!"

Scott waved his wand, and a huge spherical magical barrier instantly formed, enveloping him and Savannah.

"No need to stop!"

He grabbed Savannah's wrist, and the two sped up their run again.

At that moment, the entire thorny thicket came back to life.

Thick vines twisted and rose high, lashing out at them with a whooshing sound.

Snapped!Snapped!Snapped……

The sound of vines lashing against the magic barrier was incessant.

Scott held his wand aloft, a white ray of light connecting the tip of the wand to the magical barrier, constantly repairing it.

The vines came from all directions, and unable to break the magic barrier, they went berserk, whipping and entwining, making it difficult for Scott and Savannah to move.

"Quiet!"

Savannah raised her long wooden staff again.

Green light enveloped her body and spread rapidly in all directions.

The vines that were exposed to the light moved much more slowly.

"go!"

Savannah pulled Scott along and ran forward again.

She said, "I'll lead the way; you just need to maintain the Ironclad Charm!"

"it is good!"

Savanna led the way while continuously using spells to suppress the surrounding vines.

About twenty minutes later, they finally broke out of the dark, thorny thicket.

"Let's take a break."

"it is good."

They sat on a patch of grass, panting, looking back at the thorny thicket that resembled a chaotic dance of demons.

Scott began to look around.

They were now standing on a flat meadow, with lush green grass and clusters of small white flowers.

Behind them was a particularly "lively" thicket of thorns, while in front lay a silent forest shrouded in mist.

Due to the fog, only the shadowy, tall trees in the forest could be seen.

"Let's spend the night here."

Scott made the suggestion.

Savannah agreed, "Indeed, we cannot rashly enter that forest; I sense danger."

“Danger.” Scott narrowed his eyes. “Do you know what it is?”

Savannah shook her head.

“Let’s explore again after dawn tomorrow,” Scott said.

He looked around; the meadow was quite large, and since he couldn't find any firewood, he gave up on starting a fire.

He took out a magic lamp and placed it on the ground, then found the simple food he had brought with him, heated it with a magic spell, and shared it with Savannah.

After finishing his meal, he began to set up the tent.

Silent all night.

The next day, after resting and having breakfast, the two prepared to set off again.

At this moment, the mist in the forest ahead had dissipated in the morning light.

They walked across the meadow, stepping on fallen leaves, and entered the forest.

“This forest contains more than just oak trees,” Scott said. “It’s more like the Forbidden Forest at Hogwarts.”

The trees and plants in this forest are common in Britain, and there is no difference between it and the Forbidden Forest of Hogwarts.

Can you still sense the danger?

He turned to look at Savannah.

Savannah stopped and closed her eyes, as if listening intently to something.

After a while, she opened her eyes and shook her head.

“That sense of danger is gone,” she said, “but something’s not right; this place seems too ordinary.”

"ordinary?"

Scott understood what she meant.

"In your perception, this place is just like an ordinary forest?"

Savannah nodded, walked to a large tree, and reached out to touch the rough bark.

Points of green light fell from her palm and seeped into the tree trunk.

"No anomalies were found."

She frowned.

"I think we need to be careful."

"clear."

Scott expanded his magical perception, but still couldn't sense any magical fluctuations.

It seemed to be just an ordinary forest without any trace of magic.

However, both he and Savannah knew that this was the biggest anomaly.

At least, the fog that drifted through the forest last night didn't look like naturally formed, ordinary fog.

Neither of them sped up, but instead walked into the forest at a normal walking pace.

Fortunately, there aren't many shrubs in this forest, so it doesn't hinder walking.

"There are no wild animals."

As they ventured deeper into the area, Savannah's expression grew increasingly somber.

"There were no birds, not even insects."

"But these plants are all growing normally."

Scott walked around, observing his surroundings.

“Perhaps this is the territory of some powerful creature,” he guessed. “Because of its power, no other creatures, except plants, dare to approach.”

Savannah, however, did not quite agree with his guess.
