"Don't worry, Scott, I'm here."

He lowered his voice as he said this.

"This morning they came to the school to investigate your information and wanted to get your home address. I volunteered to accompany them to Dumbledore, and of course he agreed. I will make sure that they will not cause any harm to you or your family during their questioning."

"Thank you, Professor."

Scott looked at him gratefully.

This gratitude is genuine.

He took a deep breath, turned to give his parents, who had been watching him, a reassuring look, and walked back to the two Aurors.

“Gentlemen, I’m ready.” He sat down on the single sofa opposite them.

"very good."

Shakel sat up straighter, and the large gold earrings on his ears swayed.

Williamson, who was standing nearby, also took out paper and pen.

"Mr. Trollope?" Shackle asked him. "You had a falling out with Miss Travers at school? According to Miss Avery, Travers left the hospital without permission to seek an opportunity to get revenge on you."

"I don't know if that counts as a contradiction."

Scott seemed a little reserved.

He recounted some of what had happened between Jacob and Traft.

"...According to Jacob, Miss Travers thought I shouldn't look down on her."

He helplessly spread his hands.

“But I was standing on the stairs and they were standing downstairs.”

After listening, Shakel did not offer any comment, but simply nodded.

He then asked, "Miss Avery said they suspect you caused their illness. What do you have to say about that?"

"Thank them for really thinking so highly of me?"

Scott looked even more helpless.

"As far as I know, their illness... even Mrs. Pomfrey and Professor Snape cannot cure it immediately, and I do not consider myself to have that ability."

Seeing that Shakel did not speak, he continued, "As the professors all know, my specialty is Transfiguration; I'm not particularly outstanding in other subjects."

“That’s right.” Professor Flitwick nodded in agreement. “Especially since the child’s Potions class grades are just average.”

Scott smiled sheepishly at Professor Flitwick, then continued to Shackleton, "And as you can see, my family is just an ordinary Muggle family. No one can help me except myself."

Shakel nodded and pondered for a moment.

"That's settled then, Kingsley."

Williamson, who was standing to the side, couldn't help but yawn and flicked his ponytail.

"He's just a fourth-year student, a Muggle-born wizard, so this is obviously none of his business."

His gaze toward Scott inadvertently revealed a hint of contempt.

“There are still some doubts about this matter,” Shakel emphasized.

“I know.” Williamson put away his pen and paper impatiently. “The girl’s wand. They used the Flashback Charm to play a spell she had used before.”

He turned to Scott and said, “A lot of offensive spells, including even a vicious transfiguration torture spell, and finally a death curse.”

Seeing Scott's shocked expression, he curled his lip.

“I must say that girl is a genius,” he chuckled. “This kid can’t handle her magic, what a pity.”

Shakel glared at him angrily, "How could you!"

Clearly, he was very unhappy with Williamson's casual revelation of this information.

Williamson instinctively shrank back, but he quickly became angry and embarrassed.

“I know you have many questions, Kinles.”

He suddenly stood up.

"Let me tell you, it's obvious that the girl just went somewhere and got into a fight with someone, or simply practiced some spells."

He looked at Shakel with a forced smile.

"Because she trusted house-elves so much that it ultimately harmed her, she angrily cast a killing curse on it before she died."

He deliberately shrugged.

"An 11-year-old girl, her killing curse can't kill a house-elf, which dies because it splits into two parts."

wonderful!

Scott, who had his head down, really wanted to stand up and applaud to thank Mr. Williamson for his brilliant analysis.

“Williamson!” Shackled jumped to his feet, breathing heavily. “This is not how a proper Auror should behave during an investigation!”

Williamson raised his head and said stiffly, "All I know is that the wizarding world was almost exposed to the whole of England yesterday, and Minister Fudge wants us to quell this incident as quickly as possible!"

……

Chapter 101 The Divine Reasoning of Good Man Williamson

Scott never expected that the two Aurors would actually argue in front of them.

A young Auror named Williamson, having cultivated a relationship with Minister of Magic Fudge, began openly challenging the veteran Shackles.

Although he appeared somewhat blustering, he showed no respect for Shakel in his words or actions.

It seems that the relationship between the factions within the Ministry of Magic is more than just "discordant".

"Gentlemen," Professor Flitwick reminded them with displeasure, "you shouldn't be arguing here, but should reach a consensus as soon as possible and draw a conclusion to this inquiry."

“I’m sorry, Professor Flitwick.”

Shakel took a deep breath, calmed himself, and sat down.

Williamson paused for a moment, probably feeling embarrassed to argue in front of Muggles, and then sat down sullenly.

“Excuse me, Mr. Trolop,” Shackle said, looking at Scott again. “Please hand over your wand so we can examine it.”

Scott hesitated upon hearing this.

Shakel said gently, "Don't worry, it's just a routine check-up. Professor Flitwick is here too."

Professor Flitwick nodded to Scott as well.

“Yes, Mr. Shakel.”

Scott reluctantly took his wand from his coat pocket and handed it to Shackle.

Ebony?

Shackles took the wand in his hand and examined it.

“Yes, it’s made of ebony with dragon nerves, and it’s twelve and a quarter inches long,” Scott said.

Williamson glanced at the parchment in his hand and nodded casually. "It matches the information."

At this moment, Shackleton took out his wand and placed the two wand tips together.

"Flashback Spell!"

Amidst the violent fluctuations of magic, the spell that Scott had once cast with his wand immediately appeared as a phantom in Shackles' hand.

"Transformation Charm, Transformation Charm, Transformation Charm..."

Williamson shrugged.

"Clearly, they are just some basic transfiguration spells."

Scott explained somewhat embarrassedly to Professor Flitwick, "I used the Transfiguration Charm to make some Christmas presents before the holidays."

"Oh! A gift? I didn't have time to open it this morning," Professor Flitwick said with some regret.

Upon hearing this, Scott also glanced at the pile of well-wrapped gifts under the Christmas tree in the corner of the living room.

Professor Flitwick glanced at the Christmas tree and smiled at Scott, saying, "I hope you like the gift I prepared for you."

“Of course,” Scott nodded. “You always have a good eye.”

Professor Flitwick smiled.

Just then, Shackles finished his examination and returned the wand to Scott.

"The wand looks fine," he said.

"Of course, no problem. I already said that."

Williamson couldn't help but say.

“This kid is still a minor. If he had used magic outside of school, the Department of Prohibition of Abuse of Magic would have sent him a warning letter long ago.”

He looked at the house with a hint of arrogance.

"As he himself said, he was a Muggle-born wizard and he couldn't handle the surveillance of the Threads."

“Of course I know all that, Williamson,” Shackle said. “What angers me is your work attitude.”

"Alright, I apologize, Kingsley."

Williamson said this without any sincerity.

“I just don’t think we should waste our time here.”

He looked somewhat anxious.

“Our other colleagues may have found more important clues or made further contributions to calming this incident.”

Scott could see clearly that this young Auror seemed eager to make a name for himself.

But out of the arrogance of a pure-blood wizard, he clearly believed that he wouldn't get any useful clues from a Muggle-born wizard like Scott.

"Whatever she went through, the girl clearly died from being split in two, and there wasn't even a trace of fighting at Maidstone, the place where she died."

He began to talk incessantly to persuade Shakir.
