“You should know how dangerous the Chamber of Secrets in Slytherin was before.”

“Don’t worry.” Scott raised the flying broom in his hand. “We can escape on the broom at any time.”

Milton was about to say something more, but Eddie pulled him toward the inside of the platform.

"It's okay, let's find the entrance together!"

Scott and Roger exchanged a glance and each began searching in a different direction.

Scott reached out and began touching the stone wall inside the platform, one spot at a time.

Not long after, his three roommates stopped searching.

"There seems to be nothing here." Eddie picked up a stone and tapped it on the stone wall in front of him, unwilling to give up.

Roger also said, "Scott, it's all up to you now."

“Maybe Scott was just making a joke in the book?” Milton guessed.

"Let me look more carefully."

Scott continued to use his magic to sense the stone wall that his palm was touching.

When he reached a recessed area on the right side of the stone wall, he finally noticed something unusual.

"It should be here!"

He pulled his wand from his pocket and waved it.

"Super Perception!"

After being enchanted with the Extrasensory Charm, Scott's magical perception received much clearer feedback.

At this moment, his three teammates gathered around.

"Is this the place?" Roger also reached out and touched the stone wall. "I checked it, but I didn't find anything unusual just now."

“This is the place.” Scott lowered his hand.

Eddie tapped the stone in his hand against the rock wall. "Is this the hidden entrance? How do we open it?"

"Give it a try."

Roger took out his wand and waved it.

"Alohomora open!"

He tried using the unlocking spell, but the stone wall remained unmoved.

"This should be... left to me."

Eddie threw away the stone in his hand and took out his wand.

"Dissendium" (left-right separation)!

His spell still did not cause any change in the stone wall.

At this point, Milton suggested, "Perhaps... this entrance requires a secret code?"

Eddie and Roger immediately began to try it upon hearing this.

"Hogwarts".

"Ravenclaw!"

Hufflepuff?

……

They tried all the school and college names, but they were all obviously wrong.

"Exceptional wisdom is the greatest wealth of mankind."

"Sleeping Dragon, do not disturb!"

……

Next, they tried the college's motto, school motto, and the founder's quotes, some true and some false, but still to no avail.

"Let me try."

As Scott spoke, he pulled a piece of parchment from his leather bag.

"This is?"

Milton took a closer look, and his expression immediately changed drastically.

"No! Scott! You can't!"

He reached out to snatch the parchment.

Scott raised his hands to avoid it, saying, "You two stop him."

Roger and Eddie obediently grabbed Milton's arms, one on each side.

"Scott!"

Milton shouted anxiously.

"Let me go! You don't need to do this!"

“What is that?” Roger asked.

Neither he nor Eddie had figured out what was going on.

“That’s the music! The sheet music for that organ piece!” Milton exclaimed. “This isn’t some secret chamber, it’s the place where the oath was made, isn’t it?”

He struggled even harder.

"Let me go! Stop Scott!"

But Roger and Eddie held his hands even tighter.

"you……"

Milton's eyes welled up with tears.

"Let me go, I don't need..."

"Quiet down, Milton."

Scott turned around and pointed his wand at him.

"Silently and without a trace."

The spell struck Milton; his mouth opened and closed, but he could no longer utter a sound.

“This is the sheet music I got from Gideon Krum.”

Scott put away his wand and shook the parchment in his hand.

"I'm not very skilled yet, so I hope I can make do."

Eddie asked in surprise, "You mean... this music is the secret access code?"

Scott shook his head. "I don't know either, but it's worth a try."

“I think it’s very likely, after all, it’s a music room,” Roger said.

"I'm going to begin."

Scott coughed twice and began humming along to the sheet music.

……

Chapter 114 The Song Drifting in the Morning Mist

Scott's humming echoed between the cliffs.

The humming was far from melodious, and the echo coming from the stone wall made it sound even more eerie.

After humming the tune, Scott stared at the unmoving stone wall before him and fell silent.

After a while, he turned to the others and asked, "Maybe I sang off-key?"

"I can't comment!" Roger said irritably.

Eddie laughed. "Anyway... I just don't think it sounds very good."

Scott then looked at Milton, who was glaring at him anxiously. "Milton, what do you think?"

Milton nodded vigorously.

"Cough cough."

Scott coughed twice more.

I'll hum it again.

He turned to face the stone wall and began to hum the melody on the parchment again.

A few minutes later, Scott turned to look at his roommate again.

“This sounds better,” Eddie said.

“But there’s still no response.” Roger looked at the stone wall behind Scott. “Perhaps your thinking is wrong.”

The two men still held onto Milton tightly.

Milton struggled a few more times, then lowered his head and refused to look at Scott.

“But this is the only clue.” Scott frowned and shook the parchment in his hand. “Without a clue, we can’t possibly guess the correct command.”

At this point, Milton struggled again, repeatedly turning his head to signal them to leave.

But Scott and the others ignored him.

Roger thought for a moment and said, "Perhaps we'll need to play a musical instrument?"

“The key is that no one can play this piece perfectly,” Scott said. “Don’t forget, that’s why people in classical music clubs gave up.”

“Maybe there need to be lyrics?” Eddie said. “I don’t think any secret command would be just humming.”

"lyrics?"

Scott thought for a moment and nodded.
