"Buzz~~"

The sudden vibration pulled Xin Yu back to reality. He picked up his phone from the table, saw the familiar name, and was somewhat stunned.

After hesitating for a moment, Xin Yu decided to answer the call.

"Xin Yu, I'm homeless."

As soon as the call started, I heard Zhao Weijing's delicate voice complaining sadly, as if she was still sobbing softly.

Zhao Weijing's sobs were no less than thunderclaps. It was hard to imagine that someone as proud as her would cry. Xin Yu's heart tightened, and he hurriedly asked, "What happened?"

Zhao Wei let out a sob before saying tearfully, "I ran away from home and will never go back. I hate that woman and don't want to go back to that house!"

"Don't be impulsive. Your mom must be worried if you go missing. Go back quickly and we can talk things over."

Xin Yu quickly tried to persuade her, saying that no matter what, he couldn't just sit by and watch a high school girl run away from home. Although he was also a high school student, he understood what would happen to a girl like Zhao Weijing once she left the protection of her family.

"She doesn't care at all. She wouldn't even care if I died. Anyway, I've had enough, and I don't want to go back!"

Zhao Wei said sullenly, then paused and whispered, "I'm at your house now. Can you open the door? I have nowhere to go tonight. You're not going to kick me out, are you?"

She seemed a little unsure of herself.

Xin Yu suddenly felt a headache coming on. He hadn't expected Zhao Weijing to come to his side, but he really couldn't bring himself to kick her out. Oh well, he'd better open the door first, persuade her to calm down, and then take her home.

Chapter Twenty: Come Play with Me!

Xin Yu went over and opened the door, and saw Zhao Weijing standing outside. She was carrying a small schoolbag, and the tip of her nose was a little red, obviously because she had just been crying.

Upon seeing Xin Yu, she pouted and took two steps forward to hug him, looking aggrieved: "Xin Yu..."

She looked like a primary school student who had been bullied outside and wanted a hug when she got home, but this primary school student was too well-developed, and Xin Yu was almost unable to breathe because of her squeezing.

She struggled to break free, but Xin Yu grabbed her hand and said, "Let's come inside first." He pulled her into the house with a strong pull.

Xin Yu peeked outside and was relieved to see that no neighbors had noticed what was happening.

He closed the door and turned around, and her fragrant body immediately hugged him tightly again, her forehead hitting his chest, and she sobbed, "Thank goodness for you, otherwise I would have to sleep on the streets tonight. Xin Yu, you are so good to me."

She rubbed against him, her breath seeping through her clothes and hitting Xin Yu's chest, making him feel both itchy and tingly.

After Zhao Weijing finished speaking, she stood on tiptoe, seemingly so happy that she wanted to kiss him.

"Stop." Xin Yu quickly pushed her away and asked with a serious expression, "Tell me clearly what happened and why you ran away from home."

He had to quickly change the subject, otherwise Zhao Weijing might do something rash in her excitement.

Zhao Weijing pouted and said, "We had a fight, and I don't want to stay at home."

Xin Yu was speechless: "Running out at night, aren't you afraid your family will worry? What if they call the police?"

Calling the police would be a big problem. If the police came to their house, all the neighbors would know that Xin Yu's family was hiding a girl, and who knows how much gossip would circulate behind their backs.

“I lied to her and said I went to a classmate’s house. Besides, she wouldn’t care about me.”

Recalling something painful, Zhao Weijing gritted her teeth in resentment.

Xin Yu was surprised. It seemed that Zhao Weijing and her mother had a bad relationship. For a daughter to say such things felt like something out of a movie, where the parents were too busy to take care of their daughter, leading to her rebellion.

Feeling a pang of pity for her, Xin Yu softened his tone and advised, "I think your mother cares about you too. What parent wouldn't care about their daughter? There must be some misunderstanding between you. Anyway, make a call to let her know you're safe."

The mother must be extremely worried about her daughter's sudden departure from home; at the very least, she should call home first.

Zhao Weijing glanced at him and said, "You don't understand. Forget it, let's not talk about her anymore. Xin Yu, I want to take a shower. Get me a towel, it's really uncomfortable to be sweating so much."

She clearly didn't want to talk, and Xin Yu was helpless. When he heard that she wanted to take a shower, he was a little reluctant. He hadn't really thought about letting Zhao Weijing stay at home overnight.

Zhao Weijing was a bit impatient; after saying that, she dropped her schoolbag and ran into the bathroom. She didn't forget to turn back and say to him, "Hurry up!"

Xin Yu hurried after him, but could only hear the rushing water coming from inside. His face flushed, and he retreated far away.

After hesitating for a moment, Xin Yu sighed inwardly, found an unused towel, hung it on the bathroom doorknob, took a few steps back, and said into the bathroom:

"The towel is hanging outside, I'll go back to my room first."

Zhao Weijing hesitated for a moment, then said apologetically, "I didn't bring any clothes. Could you give me some?"

"Big sister, running away from home is so unreliable." Xin Yu was both amused and exasperated. Are you sure you're not just here to trick me into giving you clothes?

"I was going to buy it on the street, but I forgot. Can you give me a set? I'll wash it and return it to you later."

Zhao Weijing impatiently whined.

Xin Yu was at his wits' end with her. He had no choice but to go back to his room, find a set of clothes he rarely wore, and bring them to the bathroom door.

"What are you doing?"

Xin Yu stayed in his room playing on the computer for a while. A strand of damp hair fell on the back of his neck, making him feel a little itchy. Zhao Weijing curiously leaned over, looking at the computer screen, and accidentally pressed her chest against the back of Xin Yu's head.

Xin Yu leaned his head forward and said casually, "Just playing on the computer out of boredom."

After saying that, he continued staring at the screen and said, "Go sleep in the room next door."

He figured it out. He figured he couldn't get rid of Zhao Weijing, and since it wasn't her first time staying overnight, he'd let her stay one night and send her away early the next morning.

"No rush, is this your room? I slept here last time and didn't even notice."

Zhao Weijing turned around and walked around his room, looking around with great interest.

Walking to Xin Yu's bedside, she glanced at the blankets on the bed, then turned to Xin Yu and asked, "Have you washed the blankets?"

Xin Yu knew she was thinking about the previous overnight stay, and nodded.

Zhao Weijing pouted, seemingly a little dissatisfied, but then she laughed again, sat on Xin Yu's bed, pressed her buttocks down hard, and said with a grin, "The bed is quite soft, no wonder I slept so comfortably that night."

Xin Yu simply ignored her and focused on browsing the web.

Seeing this, Zhao Weijing felt bored, so she simply lay down on his bed and stared blankly at the ceiling.

Xin Yu glanced at her and saw her kicking her legs idly on the bed. Her white thighs were quite eye-catching. Since it was almost time to go to sleep, Xin Yu had given her a pair of light and thin athletic shorts. As Zhao Weijing lay on the bed, the shorts were a bit tight and conspicuous, like sandy ground trodden by a camel.

Xin Yu's heart raced a little. He quickly turned around and stared at the time in the lower right corner of the computer screen. A word popped into his mind... time.

Zhao Weijing turned to look at him, her face slightly flushed. Then, with a bored look in her eyes, she said, "Hey, Xin Yu, I'm so bored. Come and play with me."

Xin Yu pretended not to hear.

A while later, Xin Yu left the computer, walked stiffly, and went out to take a shower without looking to the side.

After Zhao Wei waited for him to leave, she immediately sat up, walked quickly to his computer, sat down, and skillfully flipped through the various folders with the mouse.

"Huh, why isn't it there?"

A moment later, she looked disappointed. "Impossible! Aren't boys supposed to keep secrets on their computers? I was hoping to find out about Xin Yu's XP."

"It might be hidden in the phone."

Zhao Weijing glanced at Xin Yu's phone, but couldn't open it because she didn't have the unlock code.

The sound of a shower coming from outside made Zhao Weijing suddenly stop everything, twist her body, and feel a little hot.

Then she remembered something: the clothes she had changed out of were still in the bathroom.

Zhao Weijing blushed. After all, she was a girl, and she always had things she was embarrassed about. More importantly, she had reasons she didn't want him to see.

I've been thinking about him all day, but I haven't had a chance to take a shower.

Zhao Weijing hurriedly ran outside, but Xin Yu was taking a shower and the door was closed. She didn't know what to do. She couldn't just barge in, could she?

Chapter Twenty-One: My Heart Beats for You

After Xin Yu finished showering, he came out and found Zhao Weijing sitting on the sofa with a flushed face, and he was immediately puzzled.

The girl stood up, glanced at him, lowered her head, walked past him, leaving a trail of fragrance, and ran into the bathroom.

Xin Yu suddenly realized something and froze.

A while later, Zhao Weijing came out, gave him a strange look, but didn't say anything and silently went back to her room.

Xin Yu opened his mouth, but didn't know how to explain.

Just now in the bathroom, he accidentally knocked her clothes off. Although he picked them up and put them back in their original place, they were definitely not the same as before. Zhao Weijing probably thought he had touched them, or even used them for something.

Xin Yu was truly on the verge of tears. "I didn't do anything!"

After hesitating for a moment, Xin Yu returned to his room and saw Zhao Wei sitting quietly in front of her computer, absentmindedly playing a web game.

Xin Yu sat down by the bed, gazing at her graceful figure. He was unsure how to begin. This topic was awkward to discuss, but Zhao Weijing's behavior suggested she was angry, and the misunderstanding needed to be cleared up.

Before Xin Yu could speak, Zhao Weijing closed the webpage, turned her computer chair around, and looked at Xin Yu, saying, "Xin Yu, I have something to tell you."

Are you going to lecture me?

Xin Yu straightened his back, put on a serious expression, and nodded.

He decided to defend himself; he couldn't make excuses for things he hadn't done.

Zhao Weijing took a deep breath and said seriously, "All along, I've only thought about satisfying myself. I've been so selfish and haven't considered your needs at all, Xinyu. I'm sorry, I'll pay attention in the future because we are close partners."

She looked at Xin Yu apologetically, her eyes firm, as if she had made a decision. Her face flushed even more, and she whispered, "I will... try my best to satisfy you."

Xin Yu was stunned. My needs? How come I didn't know that myself?

"You've misunderstood," Xin Yu could only say righteously.

"You don't need to hide it anymore. You already know all my secrets. It's no big deal that I know yours now. Actually, I'm quite happy. I've always felt it was unfair to you, but now I finally know what I can do for you."

The girl spoke with a mixture of shyness and joy, her beautiful eyes fixed on Xin Yu, her face flushed crimson, her voice barely a whisper: "Um, I'm wearing something, the light kind, if you need..."

"No, I don't need it, you've really misunderstood!"

Xin Yu's heart skipped a beat. He shook his head seriously. At this moment, he understood what Zhao Weijing had misunderstood, but he still refused. He absolutely would not control that.

Zhao Wei stared at him for a long time, then bit her lip and said, "Turn around."

Xin Yu: "..."

"I really didn't, you have to believe me!" Xin Yu was getting a little frantic.

Zhao Weijing widened her eyes and asked, "Do you want to see the process? That's really perverted, but... okay, I'll do it."

She glared at Xin Yu angrily, giving him an expression that said, "You're so mean" and "I just can't do anything with you," before turning her back and kneeling on the computer chair.

In Xin Yu's mind... a humped mammal was running wildly across the desert.
