I have a lot of dating skills.

Xin Yu was speechless. He had indeed gone too far that day when he was angry. Those words were like an insult to the girl, so it was normal that she couldn't let it go.
"I misunderstood my senior at the time, but I did say those things. What do you want from my senior to forgive me?"
Xin Yu honestly admitted his mistake. If you're wrong, you should admit it. Besides, Chen Dongni's attitude wasn't as bad as before, which proved that a sincere apology was effective. She wasn't unreasonable either. Well, maybe there was also the reason behind those compliments on her figure earlier.
Chen Dongni smiled slightly: "Since it was a misunderstanding, and you've apologized, I'm not a petty person, so it's okay for me to forgive you, but..."
Upon hearing the "but," Xin Yu knew that things weren't that simple.
She gave Xin Yu a teasing look, then said seriously, "You have to compensate me, you have to compensate me for my emotional distress. You have seriously hurt me!"
Xin Yu breathed a sigh of relief. Getting money would be much easier; problems that money could solve wouldn't be problems at all. However, the amount couldn't be too high.
"How much do you need?" Xin Yu asked, mentally calculating his savings. If it wasn't enough, he could find another job with the Voice of China fans.
“First,” Chen Dongni said softly, rubbing her legs together slightly, “sing me a song first.”
Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Charm of Language
Hmm? Singing?
Xin Yu was stunned; this wasn't what he had imagined.
"What? You disagree?!"
Chen Dongni frowned in displeasure, her tone unfriendly, but her eyes darted around, making her seem somewhat guilty.
Xin Yu didn't notice her unusual behavior and said awkwardly, "Uh, I'm not a good singer, so never mind."
"It's okay, just sing whatever you like. Come on, let's sing this one."
Chen Dongni smiled and played a song on her phone, which turned out to be a popular love song. She then asked Xin Yu to sing. Xin Yu had no choice but to start singing under her aggressive gaze, but she quickly interrupted him again.
"Wait, you sing terribly." Chen Dongni complained, her legs crossed, as if she were unsatisfied.
Xin Yu said with a wry smile, "I told you long ago that I can't sing."
It wasn't that he sang badly, but Chen Dongni's standards were too high. She was more professional in this area and naturally couldn't stand Xin Yu's singing style, which lacked any skill. She even felt that it was a waste of a voice that could have allowed her to soar to great heights.
Chen Dongni sighed regretfully: "Really, why can't you sing? Never mind, just read the lyrics."
This made things much simpler. Xin Yu searched for the lyrics of the song and read them aloud with feeling, accompanied by the music.
The lyrics of this song sound like a man whispering sweet nothings to his beloved girl. The tender words, combined with Xin Yu's voice, immediately excited Chen Dongni.
She licked her lips, sat down with a trembling bottom, and stared at Xin Yu with a dreamy look in her eyes, as if she were mesmerized.
Xin Yu felt something was off. Seeing Chen Dongni's expression, he suddenly realized that he... might have been using his voice to manipulate her?
Deep down, she felt a strange excitement. The goddess of all the boys in the school, the well-behaved girl who was chaste and virtuous in everyone's eyes, now sounded docile in her voice.
Listening to her slightly rapid breathing, watching the rise and fall of her chest, and her long, slender legs crossed together.
Xin Yu swallowed hard. Something was wrong. Xin Yu felt himself getting excited. Watching this delicate senior blush because of his voice made him feel guilty.
One voice was stirring, urging Xin Yu to do more, while another voice was trying to excuse himself, saying that he hadn't done anything, he had just made noise, and that the reason Chen Dongni became like this was her fault, not his.
His heart was racing faster and faster. He didn't know when it started, but the lyrics coming out of Xin Yu's mouth had changed, turning into the copy that the Voice of China fan had sent him that day.
The first-person perspective and the crude and vulgar language instantly amplified the sense of immersion for the two characters.
Chen Dongni stared wide-eyed, her eyelashes trembling slightly, her expression shifting between amazement and frown, as if she were going through a battle of wits.
Xin Yu stared blankly at her beautiful face, and as if possessed, leaned closer and whispered in her ear, "Senior, you're so cute."
Chen Dongni's body suddenly stiffened, then slowly relaxed.
She slumped into a chair, looking at Xin Yu with an incredibly complicated expression.
Xin Yu sniffed, struggling to look away from her. He took a few steps back, his face full of surprise. Only then did he realize what he had done.
Looking at Chen Dongni's current state, he felt it was outrageous, as if he had opened the door to a new world. Did his voice really have such magic?
Chen Dongni suddenly bit her lip, a blush appearing on her face. She kept her eyes closed, her expression shifting unpredictably, sometimes shy, sometimes ashamed, as if her heart was in turmoil.
Xin Yu took a deep breath and said in a low voice, "I'm leaving now."
Without waiting for Chen Dongni's reaction, he left immediately. He knew that Chen Dongni was now embarrassed to face him, and his deliberate mischief earlier made him feel uneasy, fearing that staying would bring her wrath.
As soon as Xin Yu stepped out of the broadcasting room, he ran into the same group of boys who seemed to have been standing outside the door for a long time.
Xin Yu closed the door behind him, didn't say a word to them, and left under their envious and resentful gazes.
These people seemed to have misunderstood what they were doing inside, but Xin Yu didn't intend to explain. They had been bothering him a lot these past few days, so he might as well let them worry about him to death.
Several boys in the broadcasting room looked like they'd been turned on. They had chased after him and found the door locked from the inside. Worried that Xin Yu would hurt Chen Dongni, they tried to break down the door, but the next second they heard Xin Yu confess his love to Chen Dongni. And Chen Dongni wasn't even angry; she even asked Xin Yu to sing for her.
What kind of development is this? They were all stunned. Then they realized that the goddess had actually been taken by a pig. The boys in the broadcasting room were all on the verge of tears.
Inside the room, Chen Dongni slowly opened her eyes, her expression complicated. She had just been toyed with by Xin Yu's voice, and she couldn't even muster any anger at the moment, her heart filled with shame.
When Chen Dongni first heard Xin Yu read the lyrics of a love song, she felt it was countless times more captivating than when he spoke normally. Almost instantly, she was immersed in it, drawn into a tender and lingering emotion by his voice, which affected her body's secretions. In particular, the whispered words Xin Yu uttered close to her ear at the end seemed to possess some kind of magic, making her lose herself in a trance for a moment.
When Chen Dongni woke up, she felt ashamed. She couldn't accept herself like this, but she didn't know how to vent her anger because it was her request to make Xin Yu sing that had backfired.
"Tissues..." Coming to her senses, Chen Dongni suddenly realized something and frantically searched for tissues. Then she heard the voices of boys from the broadcasting room outside, so she quickly ran over, locked the door, and drew the curtains. Then she began to carefully wipe the sweat from her body and legs.
Chapter Twenty-Eight: The Body Needs to Recharge
Xin Yu had already left the building. As he walked outside, the cool breeze made him feel much more awake. Recalling what had just happened, he secretly regretted it.
I was just trying to solve a problem, but somehow things have gotten more and more complicated.
Having finally reached a reconciliation with Chen Dongni, she must be incredibly angry now that she's realized what's happening.
Although she seemed quite happy just now, for a girl to show that kind of expression in front of a boy, she's probably more ashamed and indignant than anything else.
Xin Yu sighed inwardly and decided not to appear in front of Chen Dongni for the time being, and to wait until both of them had calmed down before talking about it.
As for whether the boys in the broadcasting room would cause him trouble, Xin Yu felt that he should worry more about his relationship with Chen Dongni and what kind of sensation it would cause if the news got out through the boys' mouths.
For several days, things went smoothly, and Xin Yu's tense mood gradually relaxed. In the end, the rumors about him and Chen Dongni did not spread, probably because Chen Dongni had issued a gag order.
On Friday after school, Xin Yu went grocery shopping as usual, planning to go home and cook. To avoid being attacked again, he chose to take a bus home.
As soon as I stepped into my home, I heard a "clang" sound from the kitchen, like a kitchen knife falling to the ground.
Xin Yu was startled and quickly perked up, taking out a small stun gun and pepper spray from his pocket.
Although it was a bit embarrassing for a man to carry such a thing, Xin Yu prepared several similar gadgets on his person for safety reasons, just waiting for the doll girl to reappear.
When he heard any noise at home, he suspected that the other party had sneaked into the house, or that a thief had broken in and the things he had prepared were finally coming in handy.
With the door open, intending to escape if things went wrong, Xin Yu quietly moved towards the kitchen, holding pepper spray in one hand and a stun gun in the other.
Why would a thief be in the kitchen? He sensed something was wrong and decided to take a quick look first.
Peeking into the kitchen, Xin Yu saw Zhao Weijing holding a cleaver, looking distressed at the live fish on the cutting board. The fish was still jumping around and had been covered with a vegetable basket. She held the cleaver but didn't know how to start.
Xin Yu looked surprised, put the things away, and stepped into the kitchen to come to her side.
"What are you doing?" Xin Yu asked.
Zhao Weijing turned her head and saw his pretty face light up with joy, but then she became embarrassed. She put down the kitchen knife and said in a casual tone, "I bought a fish and was just about to kill it, but the fish is too cute and I can't bear to do it."
They clearly don't understand killing, yet they try to portray themselves as having a lot of love.
Xin Yu thought to himself, then asked, "How did you get into my house?"
“I took the spare key to your house that day because I saw it.”
Zhao Weijing said in a serious tone, and before Xin Yu could speak, she urged him, "It's good that you're back. You can kill this fish. I'm hungry."
She handed the kitchen knife to Xin Yu and then hid to the side.
Xin Yu was speechless. He wanted to ask her what she was doing here, but he felt that it would be a pointless question, so he gave up the idea and decided to have dinner first before sending Zhao Weijing away. With her family keeping such a tight rein on her, he didn't believe that Zhao Weijing would dare to stay overnight at his place.
Looking at the lively fish in the vegetable basket, Xin Yu thought he could use them to make steamed fish. He removed the vegetable basket, held the fish down, and tapped the fish hard with the back of a knife. The fish immediately stopped moving.
Zhao Weijing covered her eyes, but couldn't resist her curiosity, peeking through her fingers to watch Xin Yu kill the fish without blinking.
Xin Yu said to her, "The kitchen smells awful, why don't you sit outside? We'll eat together later."
Zhao Weijing shook her head and smiled, "I want to watch you cook."
"up to you."
Xin Yu didn't mind and then got busy.
As Zhao Weijing watched him cook while wearing an apron, she felt an unusual joy in her heart for some reason. She couldn't help but walk behind him, reach out her hands, and gently hug him around the waist. Pressing her face against his warm back, a sense of satisfaction welled up inside her.
Xin Yu stiffened for a moment, then shifted uncomfortably. "Stop fooling around, I'm cooking."
The soft, warm touch of the girl's body stirred his heart, and he feared that if he lingered any longer, he would become even stranger.
"Is it okay to hug you, Xinyu? I haven't seen you for several days. I feel like I've become so strange. I have no energy to do anything but hug you."
Zhao Weijing raised her head, her face flushed, her eyes hazy, and spoke softly.
The moment she came into contact with Xin Yu, she felt something was wrong with her. She couldn't believe that she had become such a lovesick woman, saying such things without any shame, yet she couldn't control herself.
Xin Yu's heart raced a little, and he emphasized, "I'm cooking. Aren't you hungry?"
"I won't bother you, I'll just hug you for a while."
Zhao Wei smiled and said, her face burning hot and her heart filled with shyness, but she couldn't care less. Hugging Xin Yu was like recharging herself. She couldn't bear to let go, no matter how embarrassing it was.
Xin Yu wanted to refuse, but a voice in his heart told him to forget it. It was just a hug, and it wasn't like they hadn't hugged before. Besides, he couldn't do anything about it.
With a sigh, Xin Yu convinced himself to focus intently on the food in the pot, reminding himself that he mustn't get distracted, or the food would burn.
Zhao Weijing could clearly sense his tacit agreement, and breathed a sigh of relief. She had been so shameless to say such a thing; if Xin Yu still refused, she would be so ashamed that she wouldn't even have the face to stay for dinner.
Xin Yu's tacit approval made Zhao Weijing very happy. She felt that her relationship with him had taken a step forward, and that she could... Ah, she couldn't think about it, or she would become worse.
Zhao Wei buried her face in the back of Xin Yu's neck, breathing in his scent, and needed to hold him tightly to avoid falling.
Xin Yu felt the girl's heart beating very fast, and her rapid breaths hitting the back of his neck gave him a strange feeling.
Zhao Weijing suddenly hugged him even tighter, wanting to merge herself into his body.
How strange, why do I want to hug him so tightly? It's so embarrassing, but hugging him feels so good, I want to hug him even tighter...
"Xin Yu, I can't hold back anymore, what should I do?"
