A Psychiatrist's Bizarre Game Journey / Dream of the Mist

Zhou Ke'er raised her eyes, glanced at Weber, and asked indifferently.

"...It's very simple! If you can really restore those corrupted spirit mediums to normal, then we will all be willing to become believers in God! My group of spirit mediums will work together to help you spread God's teachings, and I will also promote this to other spirit mediums. I think they will make the same choice as me. What do you think?"

Upon hearing Zhou Ke'er's icy tone, Webern couldn't help but hold his breath for a moment, his pupils contracted sharply, and then, as if he had made up his mind, he gritted his teeth and said.

"Hmm, approved."

Zhou Ke'er nodded slightly and gave Webb a chilling smile: "In that case, let's not delay and set off immediately. The sooner the better... My Lord is eager to bring His glory and honor to this world."

Looking at Zhou Ke'er's chilling appearance, Assassin couldn't help but mutter to himself, "Is this the legendary God? He looks like an evil god... Isn't this just a cult?!"

Thinking this, he whispered to Dio, "So what do we do now? If that old man helped him achieve his goal of spreading the faith, then our mission will definitely be considered a failure..."

"..."

Dio gave Assassin a look of utter disbelief and whispered, "Are you out of your mind? A mere module quest... no, what does the success or failure of a mere module matter compared to this? Didn't you see it from the sudden quest notification? This guy definitely entered our module from the Overworld. He shouldn't have been involved in our quest at all; we came looking for him. So... this is a messenger from the Overworld spreading faith! I bet this might be one of the later events we players haven't encountered yet..."

"!yes!"

Assassin then realized what was happening and his eyes widened. "If we do him a huge favor here, who knows, he might be so happy that he'll give us an angel character template or something. Wouldn't that be a huge windfall?"

While Assassin and Dio were whispering their secret plot, Zhou Ke'er and Webern had already gone outside.

"What are you two still doing in there? Don't tell me you have nowhere to stay and want to freeload off me?"

Zhou Ke'er stood at the door, looking impatient, and asked the two people inside.

Upon hearing this, Dio and Assassin were both startled. Without offering any explanation, they quickly came out.

"boom!"

Just then, a loud bang came from downstairs.

Zhou Ke'er narrowed her eyes slightly. Webern had just gone downstairs first, so why did he suddenly cause trouble again in less than half a minute?

Could it be that he finally got help from outside, the sun came out and the rain stopped, and now he thinks he can do it again?

Zhou Ke'er casually locked the door and walked downstairs at a leisurely pace. Dio and the other man followed closely behind—it seemed they weren't even planning to do the module quests; they just wanted to get acquainted with Zhou Ke'er by following her around.

When Zhou Ke'er reached the bottom of the building, she found that the situation was not quite what she had expected. She saw Webb standing there with a gloomy face, while four people dressed similarly to him lay motionless in pools of blood on the ground, seemingly dead for some time.

"That mark!"

Just then, Assassin suddenly spoke up, pointing to an inconspicuous black mark in the pool of blood, and said with slight shock, "This is the mark of that cult!"

## Chapter 375, Section 370: Like a God Walking Among Men (Part 10)

"Hmph... To be able to kill three people in broad daylight by unknown cultists, it seems that the so-called Spirit Masters are nothing more than a third-rate group. I'm suddenly starting to worry about whether you can help our Lord's glorious descent."

Zhou Ke'er glanced at the passersby gathered in twos and threes around her, their faces filled with fear and whispering among themselves. Then she casually ordered Dio and Assassin, "Go and ask them what just happened here. What's the story with these three dead men?"

Dio frowned, very displeased with Zhou Ke'er's tone, but there was nothing he could do but obediently walk over and strike up a conversation with the passersby. Seeing that Dio was so obedient, Assassin had no ulterior motives and followed him.

"...The evil spirits residing within them were all stolen. They were forcibly extracted while they were still alive."

Webb's face was cold, and he seemed very annoyed, but he managed to remain calm. He squatted down and examined the corpse, then said in a cold voice, while glancing at Zhou Ke'er.

The implication is self-evident.

Zhou Ke'er just said he could absorb the ghosts from others, and now three spirit beings have died downstairs in his psychological clinic. Moreover, they all died because the ghosts were forcibly extracted. No matter how you look at it, it can't be separated from him.

"Oh?"

However, to Weber's surprise, he had only subtly expressed his doubts to Zhou Ke'er, hoping for an explanation. Unexpectedly, Zhou Ke'er took two steps closer to him, bent down, grabbed his neck, and abruptly lifted him up (though she wasn't tall enough to lift Weber's feet off the ground). Her tone was icy as she said, "You doubt me? What did that look mean? Did I allow you to look at me like that? Foolish mortal, you think you're so great just because you said a few words to me?"

That's right. Now, not only are Dio and Assassins completely ignoring their module missions, but Zhou Ke'er has also lost interest in completing her daily assessments.

After all, he originally planned to withdraw from the assessment and go to the Divine Academy, and only reluctantly participated because the rewards were somewhat attractive. And now... Alex has already delivered such a large piece of Faith Crystal to him, why is he still going through all the trouble of begging for that low-level Faith Item?

As for losing credits for not completing tasks... does Zhou Ke'er seem like the kind of person who would care about such things?

The reason he hasn't withdrawn from the daily assessments yet is that he plans to practice and refine some commonly used spells from "Two or Three" here, and also try out the so-called faith crystal to see what it's good for.

Perfect timing! This is exactly the kind of cult that's perfect for training puppets.

"boom!"

Just then, a muffled thud suddenly sounded from the side.

Zhou Ke'er pursed her lips, not expecting anything to go wrong during this lull. She wondered if the cult members were launching a sneak attack from the side, or if other spirit mediums had arrived as reinforcements.

Reluctantly letting go, Zhou Ke'er casually tossed Webb to the ground like trash and turned her head toward the direction from which the sound came.

A monster with a ferocious face, covered in eerie black patterns, and with wisps of black mist constantly emanating from its seven orifices, had just swung its enormous claw made of black mist and slapped Assassin away, sending him crashing into the wall.

As for Dio... well, he's a high-level player who's activated the vampire template, how could he possibly hit her with an attack of this level? She sensed something was wrong and dodged ahead of time.

Judging from the looks of it, the monster was just a bystander watching the commotion, but when Dio and Assassin went to ask what was going on, they just happened to run into it...

Huh? Wait... something's not right!

It's impossible that there's only one monster disguised and hiding in the crowd, especially judging from the behavior of the people around them...

Could it be... that all these people are members of that cult? There are almost twenty or thirty of them already. If they can send twenty or thirty members to this place alone, how big must this cult be?

Zhou Ke'er couldn't help but mutter to herself, but this suited his wishes. Although they seemed to be nothing more than small fry, and probably not even half as threatening as the two insect monsters she had encountered in the memory fragments, it was a good opportunity for him to test his skills.

Of course, before that, Zhou Ke'er had to find out how the faith crystal was used.

As for the current situation... well, let's leave it to Dio, Assassin, and Waver to buy some time.

Thinking this irresponsibly, Zhou Ke'er weighed the faith crystal in her hand and began to examine its detailed information.

【Name: Crystallization of Faith (100,000 servings)】

[Type: Item (Consumable)]

[Quality: Legendary]

【Effect:

1. Significantly repaired the shattered divine essence.

2. To provide advanced energy for divinity.

[Note: Hey? And who are you, the leader of some cult (marketing)?]

"Hmm... So, this thing was given to me by that old skeleton from the Divine Academy because he thought my divine essence was damaged? Is the academy really that good to its students?"

Zhou Ke'er stroked her chin, then a sudden flash of inspiration struck her, and her eyes lit up. "No, that's unlikely. I know... The true God's divine essence is in the hands of that unknown great being, and He gave me a fake that's almost indistinguishable from the real thing... So in that old skeleton's eyes, now that I've obtained God's divine essence, my backer is that unknown great being. No wonder he's been so eager to curry favor with me... Good heavens!"

Since the system's item information doesn't indicate any problem with this thing, it should be usable. Even if there were some hidden tricks the system couldn't detect... come on, would they really go to such lengths to target a mere Zhou Ke'er?

With that in mind, Zhou Ke'er immediately chose to use it.

Although he doesn't possess the divine essence of God, he still has the damaged divine essence of the God of Time and Space! This crystal of faith is perfect for repairing it.

As Zhou Ke'er chose to use the faith crystal, it instantly exploded, turning into a continuous stream of light points that surged into Zhou Ke'er's body like endless lake water.

[A damaged divine core of the spacetime god has been detected]

[The power of faith is repairing the divine status of the God of Time and Space]

[Under repair....]

[Repair complete.]

[The Divinity Panel is now open...]

[Congratulations to player "Zhou Ke'er" for becoming the first player in the entire server to obtain Divinity and unlock the Divinity panel. This will be announced server-wide shortly.]

"Good heavens..."

Zhou Ke'er couldn't help but scratch her head. How come he's been reported yet again in just a few days? How strange!

## Chapter 376, Section 371: Like a God Walking Among Men (Part 11)

[Divinity: God of Time and Space]

[Celestial Position: Titan God of the Ancient Greek Pantheon – King of the Gods (Second)]

[Divine Rank: From God Rank 1 (Chief God)]

[Number of believers: 0]

[Faith Power: 1500100 (Upgradeable)]

[Divine Power: 100100 (Recovery rate is 10 hours)]

[Divine Skills: Spatial Travel (Low-Tier), Time Slowing (Low-Tier)]

Good heavens, the original 100,000 Faith Crystals were reduced to only 1,500 after the Divine Spark was repaired. We almost failed to complete the repair.

However... how should I put it, while the skills that come with these two divine attributes are indeed quite good, they don't seem to be very useful to Zhou Ke'er? After all... Zhou Ke'er can already achieve these two skill effects.

Zhou Ke'er casually clicked on the Divine Rank Upgrade, exhausting her last 1,500 Faith Power to advance her Divine Rank to Divine Level 5. However, apart from an increase in the maximum Divine Power and a slight improvement in the Divine Power recovery rate, there were no other changes. It seems that changes such as adding Divine Skills or enhancing Skill Effects will only occur after advancing to a higher rank.

"boom!!"

Just then, another loud noise came from the side.

It was Assassin who was barely managing to dodge while counterattacking with a hidden blade that had appeared in his hand at some unknown time. But for some reason, he suddenly froze for a moment without warning. In that moment of distraction, he was caught off guard and sent flying.

Hmm, I guess they received a server-wide notification.

Alas, Zhou Ke'er is truly a sinful man.

While other players are still struggling to get character templates, he not only unlocked character templates a long time ago, but now he even has a godhood.

Wait a minute... Could it be that Zhou Ke'er is the main character?!

Zhou Ke'er couldn't help but have this thought, but quickly shook her head. Forget it, someone like him is supposed to be the protagonist? No matter how you look at it... let alone Chen Tian, even Hong He is more like the protagonist than him.

Zhou Ke'er took a step toward the Assassins. He hadn't yet figured out how to control the divine power surging through his body. As he moved, streaks of star patterns unconsciously appeared under his feet. Behind him, a giant array of intricately patterned stars was faintly visible, with obscure and difficult characters flashing across it from time to time.

But for some reason, his pupils were not the pure white or silver-white they should be when he was a deity; they were pitch black, as if something strange was swirling and wriggling inside. Instead of giving off a sense of divine holiness, they appeared quite sinister.

Assassin and Dio's attention was naturally drawn to Zhou Ke'er's current situation, since they had never seen anything like it before.

"Is this... the messenger of the gods?"

Assassin looked at Zhou Ke'er and couldn't help but mutter to himself.

"I'm quite skeptical... Isn't God's messenger an angel? I didn't see any bird-like wings on his back, nor did he have a halo above his head..."
