Watching Bolius's retreating figure, the ignored staff members still wore their unchanged smiles, staring intently at him.
After leaving the building, Polius planned to go upstairs to the rooms where the athletes' delegations from various countries would be staying.
As for whether this would attract attention... Bolius had no intention of hiding himself at all.
A moment later, a "click" was heard as the door opened, and a man with curly hair walked out of the room carrying a bag of pungent-smelling garbage. The bag of garbage was dripping murky red liquid from time to time, emitting a nauseating and irritating odor.
The moment the man saw Porius in his staff uniform, he couldn't help but frown, a look of disgust on his face. His lips pursed into a shape perfectly suited to uttering "Ugh!" as he impatiently waved his hand at Porius like he was shooing away a fly. "How many times have we told you! Ugh, we absolutely will not eat your damn seafood! We've already brought our own delicious kimchi... Ugh, I'm going crazy! I forgot you can't understand a word I'm saying. Speechless, you little brat..."
Polius found the tone and wording of the insults quite novel and couldn't help but show interest, casually replying, "I understand."
The man was taken aback. He had prepared himself to see Porius bowing and apologizing repeatedly, but he hadn't expected this staff member to be so unique.
However, he didn't seem embarrassed by what he had just said at all. Instead, he looked Porius up and down for a while before commenting, "I knew it! Judging from your appearance, you're definitely not Japanese. No wonder, it's rare to find a staff member who can speak human language. Those Japanese who can't understand human language at all, all they do is bow! They're like damn machines. If you ask me, our country should have hosted the Olympics, so you could see what the best hospitality in the universe looks like..."
Polius watched him quietly, finding it quite amusing to see others talking badly about each other behind their backs.
Humans are really interesting.
The man felt uneasy under Polius's silent gaze. He frowned in surprise, stopped talking, casually tossed the trash in his hand onto the stairwell, turned around, and went back into his room, slamming the door shut with a loud bang.
Bolius glanced at the spilled soup and liquid from the loosely tied garbage bag and breathed a slight sigh of relief. He had been wondering what would happen if the guy saw he was a staff member and shoved the garbage bag into his hand. Luckily, the other person's manners were worse than he had imagined, so that embarrassing situation didn't occur.
So Polius stepped over the pile of garbage with a clear conscience and walked straight ahead, leaving the garbage to rot and stink in the stairwell in front of their door.
Isn't it obvious? His body is meant to serve the supreme god Cronus, how could it come into contact with such filth?
After walking a little further, Porius saw a patch of shadow at the corner of the corridor... No, that wasn't a shadow, it was... a person?
Bolius raised an eyebrow and walked forward unhurriedly. He found that it was indeed a dark-skinned man lying on the ground. He didn't know if it was one of the men who had argued with the staff earlier, or if it was related to them. Bolius couldn't tell the difference between their faces at all.
The man felt himself being covered by shadows, so he instinctively looked up.
The moment he saw Porius—no, to be precise, the moment he saw the staff uniform Porius was wearing—his eyes widened in terror. He instinctively wanted to scream, but for some reason, he covered his mouth tightly with his hand and didn't make a sound.
He looked like he wanted to run away, but he seemed to be so frightened that his legs went weak and he couldn't even stand up.
After all, Polius did not notice any injuries on his body.
Polius asked curiously, "Mortal... cough cough, no... this... human? What are you doing sitting here?"
Upon hearing Polius address him as "human," the man's eyes widened, and his legs seemed to suddenly gain strength as he leaped up, shouting like a madman, "I knew it! I knew it! You're not human at all! You're not human at all! I knew it! Hahahaha!"
Bolius watched him jubilantly, then couldn't help but stroke his chin, beginning to wonder—were the humans here really the same species as those of his time? They all seemed so eccentric.
The man was completely unaware of Politics' thoughts, and simply shouted to himself, "I saw it all along! You wind-up puppets, you lifeless marionettes! I knew it all along, your eyes are just like the heads floating in the sky outside!"
I can see that your heads, just like that human head, could detach from this lifeless body at any moment and float into the air! Hahahaha! I can see it all; you can't harm me! I want to go home, I want to go home!
Shouting wildly, the man suddenly sprang up from the ground as if his feet were springs, and with a "whoosh," he darted past Porius and disappeared at the end of the corridor, as if his previous weakness and fear had never existed.

Bonus Chapter: The Bizarre Adventures of Porius (Part 3)
The speed that guy suddenly unleashed was indeed beyond Polius's expectations. It wasn't much different from his speed at full strength, and could be called the pinnacle of human running speed—if that guy was really still human.
but...
Porius glanced at the quiet hallway—that guy had just made such a commotion here, shouting and yelling, yet no one came out to check on the situation, and no staff members came to maintain order.
More importantly, even though Polius was also a staff member, when he refused to go to work, no one came to talk to him. The staff members who watched him leave did not try to persuade him or anything, as if it was no big deal for Polius not to work.
Lost in thought, Politics climbed the stairs and went up one more floor.
As soon as he reached the third floor, Porius noticed that the door to the room closest to the stairwell was wide open, and strange noises could be faintly heard coming from inside.
He knocked on the door very politely, and without waiting for a response from inside, Polius went straight in.
Sure enough, if Polius knocked on the door and waited foolishly for a response outside, no one would answer him.
The man, if he could still be called human, looked like a Westerner from the old era. However, his originally fair skin had turned completely sickly pale, with very obvious bluish-black veins that spread grotesquely across his body like a spider web.
He was soaking wet, his hair clinging to his face, but he didn't care. He just put his head close to the faucet in the bathroom sink and kept catching the dripping water with his mouth, his eyes gleaming with thirst.
Porius frowned slightly. He could sense that something was hidden in the water flowing from the pipe, mixed with a smell that seemed to be rust, but upon closer inspection, it was clearly not that smell.
It should be fresh water, but it has a fishy, salty smell like seawater, which makes people instinctively feel disgusted.
The man turned his head to the side and drank the water with his mouth, his eyes wide as if they were light bulbs, staring intently at Porius who had abruptly entered his room. He didn't say anything, just drank the water and watched, his hands seemingly protecting the faucet as if he were wary of Porius, worried that he might come and take the water from him.
Porius could even smell a nauseating odor, like blood that had rotted from being left out for too long.
Because the person in front of me, or rather, the non-human thing, was emanating an aura of decay, as if the whole person was rotting.
Soon, the faucet stopped flowing, and even the last drop of water disappeared.
The man kept sucking on the faucet hose, but to no avail. He then showed a look of despair, let out a low growl like a wild beast, and clenched his teeth, which had become incredibly sharp, as if chewing the faucet like candy and swallowing it.
Just then, a series of unhurried footsteps came from the stairwell outside, and it sounded like they were coming from more than one person.
Bolius narrowed his eyes, and without hesitation, he reached out and braced himself against the wall. He jumped up and landed on the sink, then kicked his legs and used the strength of his hands to fix himself in the corner of the bathroom ceiling. Finally, he planted his feet firmly and assumed a position that looked like a spider.
Immediately afterward, less than a minute later, a team of workers in work clothes carried in a large water tank. The tank looked like it needed to be pre-ordered and made in advance, as if they had anticipated needing it.
Furthermore, the tank did not contain water, but rather some fluorescent, dark green, indescribable liquid that emitted an astonishingly nauseating odor.
What puzzled Bolius even more was that, although he didn't know much about the limits of ordinary people's abilities, no matter how you looked at it, such a large water tank filled with liquid could not possibly be lifted by just two ordinary people.
Could these two also be born with superhuman strength? The kind who could pin Laifu to the ground and beat him up from birth?
Immediately, as if drawn by an irresistible force, the man staggered toward the water tank. As he walked, he seemed to lose all humanity, bending down and crawling on the ground using both hands and feet.
Just then, one of the workers carrying the water tank suddenly coughed violently. The water tank lost its balance and crashed heavily to the ground, splashing out a lot of liquid. However, the water tank did not develop a single crack and remained intact.
The staff member, coughing violently, hurriedly took off his mask, revealing obvious black bloodstains on the inside. He bent over, clenching his right fist and forcefully stuffing it into his mouth to suppress the cough. Black pus, or perhaps blood, flowed from the corner of his mouth and the gap between his fist, dripping onto the ground.
The man, watching the liquid splashing from the tank, seemed to have degenerated into an amphibian or reptile. He writhed over in a disgusting manner, extending his abnormally long tongue to lick the ground, scooping up the splashing dark green liquid into his mouth and making satisfied noises.
The other staff members watched the coughing staff member with complete indifference, not even bothering to say a word, just silently watching, their eyes filled with pure numbness and impatience.
Fortunately, he didn't cough for too long. Otherwise, with his current physical condition as an ordinary person, he wouldn't have been able to stay on the ceiling for so long. Although Bolius felt that even if he were exposed here, the staff wouldn't do anything about it and might even ignore him as if they had never seen him at all.
As the worker lifted the water tank again, the man quickly crawled towards it, his body twisting like a snake, leaving sticky, slippery marks on the ground. Then, as if he could stick to the outside of the tank, he crawled inside without even using his hands or feet, twisting his body along the outside of the tank.
As the man disappeared into the dark green liquid, another staff member covered the top of the tank. Soon after, they left in an orderly fashion and called the service personnel, asking them to come up and clean the room in a very calm tone.

Bonus Chapter: The Bizarre Adventures of Porius (Part 4)
Seeing that the staff had all left the room, Polius slowly loosened his feet, gently leaped down from the ceiling, and landed steadily on the ground.
An ordinary person's physical fitness is indeed not enough to maintain such a position for such a long time. Polius's hands and feet are now sore and numb, but fortunately, they are still within the range he can bear.
However, this was not entirely in vain. Through his observations, Polius could easily discover that there were significant problems with both water and food supplies.
Poseidon couldn't trace the water pipes to their exact location or which source of water they connected to, but he could still go to the kitchen.
Having made up his mind, Porius no longer hesitated. He rubbed his calves slightly, then quickly walked out of the room and headed towards the restaurant following the signs in the hallway.
Although the location of the kitchen is not shown above, it should be located behind or near the dining room.
Along the way, Porius saw staff members hurrying by, seemingly on their way to clean the room they had just left. The staff members didn't even flinch at Porius's unhurried walk; they didn't even glance at him for a second. They simply greeted him politely with a perfectly standard smile.
Even though Bolius didn't respond, the other party didn't show any strange or puzzled expression, as if how others responded to him had nothing to do with him at all, and walked away with a smile on his face.
If Polius hadn't lost his powers, he would definitely have dissected these guys to see if they were human or something else entirely.
Soon, Porius arrived at the restaurant. It should have been breakfast time, but the place was empty, with only a few people eating.
These people who were eating visibly displayed a very strange expression, either staring at the food on their plates with fanatical eyes or struggling to show disgust and resistance, but they could not stop eating at all.
And... although some people may have this habit, having various kinds of raw fish for breakfast so early in the morning... just feels a bit strange.
However, Polius dared not draw any conclusions, after all, he was an old relic from who-knows-how-many years ago, and perhaps the people here just liked to eat like this for breakfast.
Just then, a staff member by the side door of the kitchen walked towards Bolius with a standard smile on his face. Although what he said seemed normal, his tone was erratic and gave a hollow feeling: "Bolius, you're a bit late today, but luckily there aren't many people, so we won't be short-staffed. However, please go to the kitchen and help out. That way, if the higher-ups ask why they didn't see you outside, you can explain that you went to the kitchen to help out."
