"Get your eyes off me, you fat owl! Don't stare at my husband!"

"Huh? Me, the ancient Demon King, Fat? Oh... I accidentally transformed into a few extra layers of feathers."

The adults' strange conversation gradually faded away, and Melia focused on watching the nervous girl in front of her.

"I am Melia Sen, and you are?"

"My name is Yuan."

"Strange name."

"But this was a gift from my father, and I like it very much. However, your surname is also very strange... There is no such surname in the Demon Realm."

"Haha, I think so too, but this is from the strongest man in the world! That's my father! How about it, want to hear their story? But I only want to tell it to my friends, so, wow, would you like to be my friend?"

"But I won't live long... If I suddenly die one day, it will make my friends sad."

"Hmph, what's that? Come on, let me tell you about how great my parents are, my friend."

Volume 1 #Postscript

On May 3rd last year, my young readers' group was buzzing with discussions about the new book, and the most difficult thing to decide was, of course, the title.

From "The Stunning Strawberry Bodyguard Who Became a Princess" to "Glass Crown" to "The Crown Blooming on Your Head", and finally shortened to "Head Blooming", it has been eight months now... or rather, seven months.

It wasn't a very long process, but with everyone's support and lack thereof, I finally finished this novel with its strange title, bizarre content, and rough quality. Of course, not reaching a million words is still a bit of a torture for my OCD, but when I have some free time, I'll probably come back occasionally to slowly bring it up to a million words.

As for this book, it's like a little daughter who received a lot of love from me, but she seemed to have a very strong personality and wasn't very obedient or happy. At least compared to my eldest daughter and my second daughter who died young, she was really a bit strange.

It was made up of many ideas I hadn't used before, as well as inspirations that came to me on a whim. And the sad thing is, from the first day I started writing it to the last day, I was always worried about "what to write today?"

As you may have noticed, this book is updated every day at 6 a.m.

Actually, it was a last-minute update.

I flipped through it, and from chapter 195 to the end, it was basically updated between 5:50 and 6:00 PM, which is really scary... You know, the deadline for writing on Shuke is 6:00 AM the next day.

In other words, I rely on last-minute bursts of inspiration and typing speed to maintain my meager attendance record. Yes, I start writing at 4 a.m. every day and finish writing and publishing before 6 p.m. to secure my attendance before finally going to bed satisfied... I want to change this schedule, but... it's too difficult.

Despite various strange problems, this book ended without leaving too many regrets. At least I am now an author who has worked hard to complete two million-word novels on Bookke.

Actually, I've tried many different ways to write novels. From those literary novels that are still sitting on my computer, probably too embarrassing to show to anyone for the rest of my life, to now, I've been writing for quite a while. The reason I say this is because after finishing a book, it feels like I finally have a chance to vent.

A few years ago, I was drawn to a website called "The Impossible X World," thinking that maybe some readers would love my first-person literary novels. I was wrong. That website was just... well, let's just say it was ridiculous.

Later, I heard about a website called "Dirty Guy" where you could write a transmigration novel with a bit of smut and get lots of readers to love you... So, I decided to let loose.

That's how "I Wish the World Could Be at Peace" came about.

Yes, that stupid and embarrassingly bad opening was the result of letting loose, and unsurprisingly, nobody watched it.

Yes, I was fooled.

So, when I had painstakingly written that book to 100,000 words, I had to frantically try to trade with many big shots to get it to barely surpass 1000 favorites.

Generally speaking, it takes about 3000 favorites for 100,000 words to avoid becoming a flop, and unsurprisingly, it became one. It had 300 subscriptions on its first day of release, and after a year of hard work, reaching 1.1 million words before completion, the average subscription was still only 300.

What does this mean? It means guaranteeing 4000 words of updates every day, with no guarantee of anyone posting, and maybe only receiving ten recommendation votes a day. The biggest harm isn't the lack of income, but the lack of readers, which makes writing completely uninspiring. But I still tried my best to finish the book, and now that I think about it, I realize I truly love my eldest daughter.

Although I wanted to sing her praises, this is the tail end of my little daughter's story, so I'll remain silent.

Later, I wanted to try something new and interesting, which led to my second daughter's book, "Enya's Toy Box." Unsurprisingly, this book also flopped. It was basically the book I put the most effort into, but perhaps I was too enthusiastic and it didn't receive the recognition it deserved. Disheartened, I had no choice but to put it on hold for now... We'll meet again someday.

"Brain Blooms" is a work that's purely unrestrained and free-flowing. This time, it didn't contain anything particularly vulgar; it was more about letting my imagination run wild. I don't know why, but this isn't my most meticulously crafted book, yet its results... seem pretty good...

As of today, I have a total of 10382 monthly votes, 164673 total recommendations, and have received 9000 blades of criticism. These numbers are truly dazzling, and I find them a bit hard to believe.

Even on those days when I would quietly skip my posts, readers would still make a point of opening them and giving me a fixed 400 recommendation votes. I would see new faces throwing monthly votes every day, and occasionally I would receive razor blades as a reward.

As mentioned above, I go to bed at 6 o'clock every day, but it always takes me a long time to fall asleep.

It's just that being able to open the book and refresh the chapter list, watching the vibrant green number of posts slowly increase, makes me incredibly happy. Even if it's just a single "1" in the chapter title, it makes me very happy. Honestly, this is what truly motivates authors to keep going.

but……

My time as a niche original author on Shuke should come to an end here.

The website's operational direction has changed, which I can understand from a business perspective, since their main focus is on crossover anime and manga, and they have indeed achieved success. I don't mean to criticize Shuke. But I have no interest in getting involved in this area; it's too boring.

At least, I really hate those books that use characters without even reading the original work, just put on a skin and follow a formula, and then rush to grab the Holy Grail without any regard for the facts.

Of course, there are also many authors who have read the original work and like to directly copy the plot of the original work into their novels. It seems that they can also get praise from readers for "respecting the original work"?

In short, I don't really want to be crammed in with them anymore, and I'm planning to move to another place. Although this will mean saying goodbye to many long-time readers and destroying all the goodwill I've built up, there's no other way.

As mentioned above, I have tried my best.

Actually, during the initial release period of "Brain Blossoms," several recommendation slots were taken by a certain book that had only about 200 first-day subscriptions and was abandoned after only a few chapters. Luckily, I'm good at selling books, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to get into the recommendation slots even with 10,000 subscriptions.

Some time ago, when "Brain Blooms" was nearing its end, I struggled for a long time, wanting to continue reading on Shuke. After repeatedly comparing several decent beginnings, I spent several nights crafting a yuri beginning that was supposed to follow "Brain Blooms," but it was politely declined because it wasn't suitable... There was really nothing I could do about it.

I really can't continue... Sorry, that's enough rant, finishing the book is a happy thing after all.

Thank you to the reader group I painstakingly built up over two years. Although the clique mentality and the way you all think are a bit too demanding, you have given me tremendous help and encouragement. I'm so grateful that you can tolerate my frequent nagging and my rambling, almost insane, thoughts...

Thank you to every reader who added this book to their bookshelf, voted for it, gave me monthly tickets, even offered virtual gifts, or even tipped me. The fact that I haven't thanked you in every chapter doesn't mean I don't feel the gratitude; truly, I, Yueya, am deeply grateful!

Especially for "Deep Sea Admiral Marisa," who has been spending huge sums of money to patronize me—three books, three consecutive championships, two "cute" titles… I hope that besides repaying with her body and crossdressing, I can find another way to thank you. If you're still insisting on demanding these things… then perhaps I won't be so grateful.

Thank you to everyone who has read this book, who actually subscribed to it, posted a comment, or simply read it in silence... or perhaps just happened to open this epilogue and read this far.

(ps)

So……

Goodbye for now.

Volume 1 #Would you be willing to lift the coffin lid of Moon Raven?

In ancient times, there was a legend!

Volume 1 #New Book: God's Palette

Bian Bai's new book, "God's Palette," has been released!

Official updates will begin in August, check it out!

The reason I started writing books on Huishuke wasn't because I couldn't stay at Dianmang's place anymore; in fact, the results were quite good, and the income was even higher than that of Naotoukaihua.

The main reason is that due to the editor's previous actions, two yuri-themed stories were canceled (The Zombie Girl from Heaven and the Poor Princess Bailey), which made some loyal readers increasingly sad and they wanted to make amends.

I happened to have an interesting idea, but it was relatively obscure and seemed like no one had written about it before, so I picked up my pen to write it down.

That's about it...
