"Attack signal: [Quick Attack Vampire]! Quick Attack Vampire can attack on the first turn when it has the initiative!"

[Dark 4-Star · Insect Race · Attack 500 · Defense 1200]

"Attack this guy!"

Despite being the first to attack, Malik immediately had the monster launch an attack. In this era where the rules were not yet perfect, Leyou couldn't even determine whether this attack counted as entering the battle phase.

But it seems like this card can be used in conjunction with Berserker's Soul to achieve an instant FTK?

[Leyou LP: 4000 → 3500]

"In the Dark Game, the monsters' attacks also cause pain!"

Malik laughed heartily, expecting to see Leyou scream in agony as darkness corrupted him, but to his surprise, Leyou seemed completely unharmed.

"Alright, stop watching. It's just a dark game, what's so special about it? If you're not interested, it's my turn!"

"Hmph! Quick-attack Bloodsucking Maggot's ability: Discard one card, switch to defense position, end turn."

Malik's hand: 6 → 4

As Malik placed the Winged Dragon of Ra into the graveyard, he made no attempt to hide his emotions, a wide grin spreading across his face as if he were deliberately telling everyone how he felt.

"Malik...did he send some terrifying card to the graveyard?" the gamer in the audience murmured.

"Alright, my turn, draw a card!"

After glancing at his hand and considering the information from his previous deck, Leyou pondered for a moment before taking action.

"In defensive stance, normally summons [Three-Eyed Monster]!"

[Dark 3-Star · Demon Race · Attack 1000 · Defense 600]

If this were the OCG, then we could start singing right away, and then with a Crimson King, Leyou's field would be filled with 6 monsters and at least 2 spell cards, and his graveyard would be full of random resources.

Unfortunately, this is DM.

"Set one more card over the wall, and the turn ends."

[Leyou Hand Cards: 6→4]

The three-eyed monster was so strong that it was locked in a dark room, then released, then locked up again, and finally released by the source number.

These cards, which have gone through many twists and turns, have never had a weak player.

Moreover, this card, if used during the DM era, would be so easy to use that it would be self-explanatory what you wanted to search for.

Only that one... or rather, those few.

Reflections on the harvest~

First of all, it will be available for purchase tomorrow at noon, with 10 chapters, around 11 o'clock.

Secondly, please subscribe to my first post! I promise this duel will be really fun once it's released, and I'll also make sure the later Noah storylines and duels are well done.

Again, I'm posting more chapters at once to maintain a stable average subscription rate. So, each chapter will be 4 words long, and I'll be posting five chapters. The word count will be the same as the normal 10 chapters, which is 2 words.

Then I'll say three more points.

First, I currently owe more than thirty chapters. The bounty ends at midnight tomorrow night, so I don't expect there will be too many more chapters to owe. I'll pay back this batch first, and then, as long as I have a stockpile of chapters to fix bugs, I'll publish as much as I can write to try and finish paying back as soon as possible.

Secondly, the performance of this book has far exceeded my expectations. My previous book only had 300 average subscriptions after it was completed with a million copies sold. So, my initial goal for the second book was to have 300 first-day subscriptions, which would have been considered a success. But seeing the current trend, I want to aim for even better results.

Therefore, after the average subscription rate reaches the new target and stabilizes, I will continue to update more over the weekend. I hope you will continue to support me.

Third, the pointless chatter.

To be honest, this book was much harder to write than the previous one. In addition to the normal writing time, I also had to find various decks, find interesting decks, and then find a suitable victim (this part took a lot of time). Then I had to think about the deck construction, whether each card had special adjustments, what content to add during the construction process, whether to use some things in the duel to advance the plot, and so on. In short, it was time-consuming and laborious.

Take Malik, whom we're about to face, for example. The entire deck-building process, not counting the writing time, took 7 hours (including the time spent slacking off?). This deck is truly outrageous. To make the deck-building process reasonable, the character behavior reasonable, and to write something entertaining, plus the other characters' nonsense, it really made my head spin.

As for the plot, because of some settings that I haven't written yet, the plot has only just begun to unfold. Many things are only just being mentioned, including the subsequent plot development, the system and the protagonist's identity and origin (for personal reasons, it is related to the previous book and XB2).

(Speaking of which, I wrote a crossover story between the two books before, but after I finished writing it, I got into the game "Merge Destiny" that night, which made me so angry that I deleted the crossover story.)

(Writing books is just a way to dump my personal agenda.JPG)

(Please, please go play XB2!)

Of course, while creating fun, I won't go overboard; my ability to make the story coherent is top-notch!

I saw someone say that they printed a Tyrant Dragon on Kaiba, and what will happen to the Legendary Dragon storyline later? I can only say that the Legendary Dragon may not even have a chance to appear in the later storyline. The style of the previous episodes indicates that something big is definitely going to happen later.

Duel City is the most popular arc, but opinions on the later plot are mixed. So what to do? Of course, just flip the table and create an unpredictable stage of fate!

The GX and 5ds will also appear in various ways that we haven't figured out yet, but they're sure to be fun. I watched half of the Z4 before my hard drive crashed, and I'm still re-downloading it. I haven't watched the A5, so I can't comment on it. I personally like the Pendulum, but the storytelling effect is really a headache. The V6 will probably be the same as the A5, extracting some interesting things and adding them in, while removing the disgusting things from Konami.

In short, you can rest assured about my thought process; you've probably already learned about my ability to create hilarious situations.

In short, just watch!

Fourth, the standard ending is when there is a fourth point out of three.

Stack me on top of me! I'm exhausted!

Soaring into the sky!

Chapter Sixty-One: The Sealed...

"Not a magic card deck? What? But it doesn't matter anyway, before the invincible strongest god, all struggles are futile!"

"My turn, draw a card!"

Without immediately playing a card, Malik picked up the Millennium Staff tucked at his waist again, revealing a malicious smile.

"Do you know? The ancient artifact in my hand can see through a person's heart and see what is most painful for a person—no, I should say, the most suitable way to die!"

"Anyone who stands in my way will suffer endless torment and die in despair!"

A burst of light emanated from the top of the thousand-year-old tin staff, which Malik held and pointed directly at Leyou.

"Come on! Let me see the fear in your heart!"

"Malik! Kisama!" Yami Yugi was furious. He even gripped the Millennium Puzzle on his chest, wanting to forcefully intervene in this completely unfair duel.

But he immediately stopped what he was doing, looking somewhat puzzled.

"How is this possible?!" Malik exclaimed in astonishment, his gaze shifting back and forth between the expressionless Leyou and the Millennium Staff in his hand.

"Why is there nothing here?!"

The Thousand-Year Staff is infallible; if it cannot see the other party's pain and death, there are only two possibilities: the other party does not experience pain or death.

But how is that possible?!

No, wait, there's a third possibility!

Malik hurriedly looked down at the audience, searching for Isis.

"Ah... I knew it. No wonder you were so fearless. You were relying on her power... What a troublesome woman!"

"Hmph, you should thank my meddlesome sister. If it weren't for her, you'd be dead by now!" Malik shouted.

But as soon as he said it, he sensed something was wrong. Why was the ancient artifact his sister always carried with her... gone?

Masaka?!

"Alright, stop showing off your thousand-year-old microphone. It's just a thousand-year-old artifact, why are you so happy about it?"

While mocking Malik, Leyou reached into his pocket—actually into his system space.

"Come here, let me show you!"

"This is the Thousand-Year Eye, this is the Thousand-Year Wisdom Wheel, this is the Thousand-Year Scale, this is the Thousand-Year Key, this is the Thousand-Year Jewelry." Leyou took out one of the thousand-year artifacts as if they were his own treasures and placed them on his duel disk.

I even find it hard to let go.

"I'm only missing your Millennium Staff and the Millennium Puzzle to complete the full collection achievement. I have no idea what you're so smug about with just a single Millennium Staff."

Six artifacts were on the stage, and one was off the stage; all seven ancient artifacts were gathered here, each radiating light.

It stood out conspicuously in the dark night sky.

Isis, sitting in the audience, gaped. She had thought that Leyou would be a very special person, but she never expected him to have such abilities.

She remembered clearly that the Millennium Key and the Millennium Scales were both on Xia Di, a descendant of another branch of the Tomb Guardian Clan.

"What exactly happened in this short period of time? But it's all for the best. It seems that our clan's mission is indeed coming to an end soon."

Isis was surprised, and Yugi was no less surprised than her. He had never imagined that a duelist he had just happened to meet would be so closely related to the mystery of his memories.

To regain his memories, he must collect the Three Egyptian Gods and the Seven Divine Artifacts.

Although he didn't understand the specifics, Jonouchi guessed the general idea. Seeing Yugi's worried expression, he came up and patted Yugi on the shoulder, saying, "Don't worry, Yugi! Yugi is a good person. If you explain the situation to him and ask to borrow these things, he shouldn't refuse, right?"

"Hmm..." Yugi nodded, ceasing his thought about the question and instead beginning to worry about the outcome of the duel.

On stage, Malik perfectly demonstrated what true dumbfoundedness looks like with his perfect facial expressions. He stared blankly as Leyou took out the five ancient artifacts one by one and put them back one by one, and began to question his own existence.

Suddenly, the thousand-year-old tin staff in his own hand no longer seemed so appealing.

"Even if you have so many Millennium Treasures, you still don't have a monster strong enough to defeat the God Cards!"

"Hahahaha! I've got it! I'm going to add more weight to this dark duel!"

"Give me everything you have as a wager. If you lose, all your Millennium Artifacts will belong to me!"

The black mist spread and rippled, as if responding to Malik's increased pressure, but Malik, caught up in his excitement, didn't notice that Leyou almost burst out laughing.

[Chips added]

[Contract Established]

"You only have a weak monster on your field. Let me destroy it and make you feel the pain!"

"Attack signal summons [Gluttonous Dragon]!"

[Water, 4-star, Reptile, Attack 1900, Defense 700]

"Then switch the vampire maggots to attack stance and enter battle!"

"A monster with only 600 defense points is far too weak! Gluttonous Dragon, attack the Three-Eyed Monster!"

The ugly monster, whose name contains the word "dragon" but is actually a reptile, leaped up and easily tore the three-eyed monster to pieces.
