Duels should be played with a smile.

One is a spell card that shuffles two cards from your hand back into your deck, and the other is a trap card that forces your opponent to draw two cards. One is of unclear purpose and is annoying to play.

For a moment, Malik even suspected that the person on the other end was the real bad guy.

On the other hand, Leyou's expression didn't change much. He didn't care that Malik had given him two Normal Monsters. After all, these were just necessary preparations to achieve his goal.

"My turn, draw a card!"

As Malik declared, the fireball in the sky quietly extinguished, and the final moment drew one step closer.

"At the start of my turn, the Gluttonous Dragon's effect activated, restoring 1000 LP."

Malik LP: 5000→6000

“Although Malik already has a full 6000 LP, no matter how many LP he has, it’s useless in the face of Exodia and the countdown to the end! Moreover, Leyou already has 3 Exodias. That bastard Malik is about to be defeated!” Jonouchi said excitedly to Yugi.

"Hmph! Mediocrity is mediocre!" Kaiba scoffed disdainfully. "You only see the victory brought by Exodia and the countdown, but you don't realize that his current situation is actually precarious!"

"What did you say?"

“Jonouchi, Kaiba is right. Activating the countdown requires 2000 LP, and now Joy only has 1000 LP left. Any accident could easily wipe out his LP, not to mention that Malik’s God Card is about to be resurrected from the graveyard,” Yugi explained with a straight face.

“That’s not all,” Kaiba chimed in. “Exodia is the invincible way to win, but you have to control your hand before you can win. Right now, half of Leyou’s hand is useless, and two of them were taken from Malik. Malik definitely won’t give Leyou any useful cards.”

"So...Leyou's hand card can only be considered as one card right now?!"

“That’s right!” Hearing the murmurs from below the stage, Malik once again made a perfect facial expression. “I’m curious how you’re going to use a single card to fight against the strongest god. Is it your face-down card? But don’t forget, trap cards are ineffective against gods! And your weak monster is about to be burned to ashes by a god!”

"You talk so much, why don't you bring out your god and show it off?" Leyou challenged nonchalantly.

"Then so be it!"

"But before that, we need to deal with the garbage you dumped here first."

After saying that, he placed three cards face down in the Spell & Trap Zone. Undoubtedly, two of them were the disgusting cards that Leyou had given him, and the third was Monster Reborn, which he had searched for earlier.

So, the remaining card that was just drawn...

"Damn it, I knew you guys were toxic!" Le You rubbed his forehead, not even wanting to look at the other side.

"I activate my final card, [Heavenly Poza]! Both players draw six cards from their hands!"

"Oh dear, you have exactly six cards in your hand. Well, you'll just have to watch me draw six cards then~"

Having probably just learned how to manipulate people's mentality from Leyou, Malik's tone was exceptionally provocative.

"See? Jonouchi, this is one of the disadvantages of Leyou. Malik replenished his hand with a total of 6 cards, while Leyou got nothing."

"This is getting serious!"

Malik glanced at the cards he had drawn and laughed again: "Looks like my luck is better than expected!"

"I activate the Continuous Spell Card [Bozah's Survival]!"

Here it comes, the ultimate fake card. Even though it's been weakened by O-version, it still has to stay on the banned card list.

"Every time a monster is successfully Special Summoned from my Graveyard, I can draw 3 cards from my own Deck! Combined with Monster Resurrection, my invincible strategy is now complete!"

"To welcome the arrival of the Phantom God, I will first use the Normal Summon [Demon Pike]! And then..."

The mark on Malik's forehead began to glow, and he opened his arms as if calling out to something.

"Ra, the sun god slumbering in the graveyard, display your blazing form here! I activate the spell card [Monster Resurrection]!"

"Come forth! Ra, the sun god! Rise from the grave and soar through the skies! The strongest phantom god! [Ra the Winged Dragon]!"

The God Cards were placed on the Duel Disk, and endless flames erupted from them.

As the flames rose, they gradually coalesced and took shape, and a Winged Dragon of Ra, formed entirely from blazing flames, displayed its majesty on the field.

[God - 10-Star - Phantom Beast Race - Attack Power 0 - Defense Power 0]

"Because God has risen from the grave, I'm drawing 3 cards!"

Looking up at the Winged Dragon of Ra, which resembled a blazing sun, Kaiba and Yugi instinctively began comparing this so-called strongest phantom god to the God Cards in their hands: "That's the third God Card? Just how powerful must such a powerful God Card be? If its attack and defense are only 0, then there must be a way to enhance it, right?"

"Watch closely! Power granted to me by ancient spells! I will burn you to ashes with blazing flames!"

After making his final declaration, Malik lowered his head slightly, crossed his arms in front of his chest, and began to recite in a low voice the ancient priestly script that only the four people present could understand.

"The hidden power of the sun god Ra! It is to merge myself with the god!"

A black mist enveloped him, and Malik's figure disappeared. When he reappeared, only his upper body remained, having merged with the god.

"I can pay down my LP to 1 point and convert that LP into the God's attack and defense! I have to thank your useless magic card for giving me 1000 LP. Now, the God's attack has increased!"

Malik LP: 6000→1

Winged Dragon of Ra: Attack 0 → 5999, Defense 0 → 5999

"Not only that, when the god descends, all the monsters will become sacrifices to welcome his arrival!"

Malik's two monsters on the field shattered instantly, turning into specks of flame that were absorbed by the Phantom God.

Winged Dragon of Ra: Attack 5999 → 9599, Defense 5999 → 9599

"Attack power of 9599?! That's equivalent to two Blue-Eyes Ultimate Dragons?!"

Upon hearing Jonouchi's description, Kaiba glanced at it with great displeasure, but he had to admit that the attack power of that number was terrifying.

"There's only one monster with 1600 ATK on the field. If it takes this hit, it's over, unless it's a face-down card... But as Malik said, Gods are not affected by Trap Cards."

"Trust him. He managed to collect so many ancient artifacts within the city; he certainly won't be defeated so easily here!"

"Now, let us face the judgment of the Sun God!" Malik, now one with the Winged Dragon of Ra, had gone mad. "Attacking Ra, the Sun God! Divine Flame Cannon!"

The Winged Dragon roared to the sky, its mouth brimming with boundless flames. Before its enormous body stood only a small, magical swordsman.

"At this very moment! I activate a face-down trap card!"

"Mudamudamuda! Gods are unaffected by trap cards! Invincible sun god, burn this bug and the weaklings behind him to ashes!"

Flames poured down.

At this moment, the blazing dragon did not seem like a virtual image at all. Iso, who was standing to the side, could even feel the heat emanating from the flames.

A mere mortal magic warrior was no match for the attack of the Phantom God and was easily burned to ashes by the flames of the Winged Dragon of Ra.

But when the flames subsided, what appeared before Malik was Leyou, completely unharmed and even in better condition than before.

"Oh, thank you so much! You've been a real help!"

[Leyou LP: 1000 → 8999]

"How is this possible?!"

"Why not? I love people like you who don't listen to me finish speaking and then suffer the consequences."

"The instant you attacked, I activated the face-down card [Rainbow Life]. I only need to discard 1 card from my hand, and all the damage I receive will be negated until the end of the turn, and I will recover the same amount of LP. Because this effect targets myself, or rather, the damage I receive has nothing to do with God, it can work normally."

"By the way, the card I just discarded from my hand that was a Normal Monster I got from you. You were a real help!"

Leyou's smug expression, having mentioned twice that he had been a great help, made Malik's blood pressure rise a little.

However, he had no way to deal with it. After Leyou's trap card took effect, no matter what kind of damage it dealt, it could only help him recover health.

"Hmph, you've escaped with your life! But don't be smug, it just means you've had one more round of survival!"

"Isis!" Leyou suddenly turned to the audience and shouted, "After your brother recovers, you should take him to a school to study and catch up on his studies. What do you mean by 'lingering on his deathbed'? My wife has far more children than him, how can you say 'lingering on his deathbed'? Such obvious misuse of words, it's clear you haven't been to school much!"

Isis probably didn't expect Leyou to pull such a move. She just nodded subconsciously. When she came to her senses, she wanted to say something, but she couldn't think of anything to say. She could only shake her head and smile helplessly.

Meanwhile, Malik was so angry that his face had turned black.

"Activate the [Fuse Removal] card in your hand to remove the fusion state between me and Winged Dragon of Ra. The god's attack and defense are restored to their original values, and those values are restored as my LP."

Malik LP: 1→9600

Winged Dragon of Ra: Attack 9599 → 0, Defense 9599 → 0

"Now I have more LPs."

"Moreover, my turn is not over yet. Next, I will show you my invincible tactics! Tactics that will make the Winged Rathalos forever at my service!"

Chapter Sixty-Three: Sasha, choose your death!

“A normal summoning of the God Card requires three monsters as tributes, and you also need to bring the Winged Dragon of Ra back to your hand from the graveyard. How can Malik keep the Winged Dragon of Ra working for him?” Upon hearing Malik’s declaration, Kaiba in the audience began to ponder.

He doesn't need to face the Winged Dragon of Ra, but he feels he will definitely face Leyou, who has obtained the Winged Dragon of Ra from Malik.

That's right, from the very beginning he didn't think Malik could defeat Leyou.

If they were from the future, their understanding of the God Cards wouldn't be as clueless as mine. Knowing this information, it wouldn't be difficult for them to build a targeted deck with a vision that transcends their time.

However, while the seahorse's idea was reasonable, he didn't realize that when a system that likes to cause trouble and a similarly troublesome gamer like Leyou come together, reasonable things often take an unexpected turn.

"The nameless Pharaoh!" Malik suddenly called out to the players in the audience.

"I still remember clearly how you used the surviving Baoza to defeat me! But thanks to you, I've also figured out a new tactic!"

"And now, the first to suffer the consequences of this tactic are your friends!"

"Malik! Kisama!"

"I activate the Spell Card [Spellstone Excavation], discarding 2 cards from my hand and adding a Spell Card from my Graveyard to my hand. I don't need to say which one it is, right? Come back! Monster Reborn!"

"I'll set another card to the back row. At the end of the turn, Winged Rathalos will return to the graveyard, but it will return again next turn! And when it returns, the surviving Poza will activate, replenishing my hand. This way, I can use [Mining of Magic Stones] and [Magic Regeneration] again, and I'll have a constant stream of Monster Resurrection cards to use!"

"Only one Monster Resurrection can be added, but my deck has three copies of Magic Stone Mining and three copies of Magic Regeneration. This is my God Card's Endless Regeneration Strategy!"

Malik's hand: 3

Malik has a lot of cards in his hand, but since he still has the face-down cards that Leyou gave him, and he also opened a Survival Treasure Card, four of his five backrow cards have already been used. He still has to save one for using other spell cards.

The two cards that Leyou sent to annoy him were originally meant to be the cost of [Mining the Magic Stone], but in order to ensure that the Treasure Card from the Sky could play its maximum role, he chose to set it face down. In the end, he didn't expect that it would backfire on him.

Fortunately, this unexpected treasure is indeed powerful. Now, among the cards he has left, he has one Magic Stone Mining and one Magic Regeneration. In addition, with his subsequent card draws and the card draws when reviving, he can guarantee that Winged Dragon of Ra can be resurrected from the graveyard for at least three or four turns.

Therefore, the claim that Baozha survived is ridiculously fake.

"My turn, draw a card!"

"Malik, I'll show you a real gem right away!"

Leyou's declaration drew everyone's attention. They were all curious whether Leyou had drawn a card that could turn the tide of the game, or a powerful monster that could rival the God Cards.

"I usually summon the [Left Arm of the Sealed One]!"
