Duels should be played with a smile.

A vortex representing fusion appeared on the field, and the Dark Magician and the Dark Magician Girl jumped out of the card together. The two looked at each other and walked into the vortex together.

Then, as if nothing had happened, he walked out.

The only difference is that the two are standing closer together, and they are standing in the same square.

Standing together constitutes fusion; these two powerful magicians once again performed this fusion method that leaves one speechless.

[Dark 8-Star Mage Race 2800 Attack 2100 Defense]

When the Pharaoh saw his two guardian priests arrive on the battlefield, he nodded in satisfaction. The two priests also bowed to their respected Pharaoh. The mischievous black magic girl even stuck out her tongue when her master wasn't looking.

Compared to the Pharaoh's satisfaction, the other three were somewhat heartbroken.

This is hand fusion! This is three for one!

They replaced it with a monster whose strength is only passable, which is not very satisfactory.

Fortunately, he left a will, so even if the deal is closed, he won't lose everything.

Fusion Summoning is a more prestigious summoning method, but it's not how you use it!

At the same time, a thought also arose in Mr. Phantom Thief's mind—if the black magician and his apprentice magician successfully survived until Judai's turn, wouldn't Judai take these two monsters to the higher-ups to summon Neos?

Unaware of his own mistake, the Pharaoh placed one of his remaining three cards onto the Duel Disk.

"I haven't performed a normal summon this turn, so I'm summoning [Magic Warrior Destroyer] in attack position!"

The model worker soldier makes another appearance, silently attaching a magic marker to himself, while also preparing to remove it immediately.

Anyway, he himself is just a freebie; the magic pointer is the real thing.

As expected, the magic warrior's effect was activated inside the Pharaoh's body.

"I remove the Spell Counter from the Magic Warrior, and then target and destroy the face-down card on your field!"

"Go, magic warrior, magic destruction!"

Infusing the magic pointer with its power, the magic warrior aimed at the face card and unleashed a slash from afar.

Just as the slash was about to hit Geka, the Phantom Thief, who had been watching the Pharaoh's actions with a cold eye, finally made his move.

"Ignorant fools, you have fallen into my trap!"

The Duel Disk emitted a notification, and the face-down Trap Card was activated.

"Chain with your effect, I activate the Trap Card [Virtual World]!"

"Is the world you live in real or virtual? I will now reveal the answer to you!"

As the phantom thief spoke, countless streams of data flew out from the card, completely surrounding the area.

"The effect of the virtual world allows me to select 1 Field Spell Card from my Deck and add it to my hand, or activate it on my field!"

Just before the virtual world was about to take effect, the powerful magician duo responded by raising their staffs and absorbing the magical energy fluctuations caused by the activation of the trap card.

"The moment you activate your Trap Card, the effect of the Dark Magician Master and Apprentice also activates. Once per turn, when a Spell/Trap Card is activated, I can draw a card!" The Pharaoh smiled and drew another card from his deck, glanced at it, and added it to his hand.

Enjoying his performance, the phantom thief paid no attention to the small card, loudly reciting the quotes he had just made up.

"It's all in vain! Those who attempt to overstep their bounds and rebel against their superiors will suffer imprisonment!"

"I activate a Field Spell Card from my deck!"

"【Demon Bell Cave】!"

As if striking a chord, the moment the card's name was uttered, Jaden and Yugi's eyes widened in surprise.

The next second, the illusory data streams rapidly transformed, revealing a sinister cave imbued with terrifying magic, which enveloped everyone within.

The once incredibly powerful magician duo suddenly became weak and powerless, the lively apprentice magician became sickly, and the warrior who had lost his magic pointer collapsed to the ground, utterly dejected.

This is the invincible Demon Bell Cave, and at this moment, the Pharaoh finally felt the wickedness of the world.

Chapter 108 You may only go this far, you are not allowed to take another step! Repaying the debt 10

Yusei traveled back in time because a major upheaval occurred in the Elf World during his era, and for some unknown reason, it was sealed off.

The previously dormant Red Dragon became active after this incident, taking him on a journey through time to an earlier era, where he encountered another duelist named Jaden Yuki.

During Jaden Yuki's time, the Spirit World also underwent changes. In Yusei's era, the Spirit World was completely closed off, but in this era, the Spirit World was just beginning to show signs of closing off as well.

However, the two of them alone could not solve the problem. After some investigation, the red dragon led them to a time further back in time, intending to solve the problem at its root.

Then, they encountered Yugi Muto.

Then, after a series of years, with the help of the red dragon, the three of them finally arrived at the day that the red dragon identified as the source of the incident: the day the gate to the Elf Realm had just opened.

It was also the day the Duel Links press conference was held.

However, including the Red Dragon, none of them knew that the reason for the change in the Elf Realm was that at this point in time, a certain Despair God absorbed too much energy with positive emotions, thus possessing both the powers of despair and hope. In addition, due to the influence of a certain person who did not have a clear understanding of himself, the source code and source network that should not have appeared at this time appeared.

The location where it appeared was in the Elf Realm, or more precisely, in the electronic world that Leyou's body contained.

In other words, from this moment on, the conditions for Xyz Summoning have already been met, but not many people know this yet.

As for why the changes in the Elf Realm affected future generations, as I said before, don't be surprised by anything that happens related to a certain person—according to an investigation by a certain whispering elf who wishes to remain anonymous, it's just a matter of time before the source code and the world are completely integrated, so there's no need to make a fuss.

However, at this moment, the trio of main characters have no time to care about their original purpose; playing cards is more important than their original goal.

Especially when the Magic Bell Cave appeared on the opposing team's field, how to deal with it became a big problem.

"The effect of the Field Spell [Clock Cavern] is that if your opponent controls more monsters than you control, they cannot activate monster effects or declare an attack."

"Step back! You may only go this far, and you are not to take another step forward!"

There are three monsters on the field, but because of the existence of the Magic Bell Cave, they cannot attack the empty field of Mr. Phantom Thief. For the first time, Pharaoh thought, how could there be such a disgusting field spell card? Paired with the Virtual World card, it can be activated from the deck during the opponent's turn. Isn't this a cheating combo?

If Pharaoh hadn't failed to draw the Cyclone card earlier, he would have blown up this obviously fake card on the spot.

Unfortunately, I didn't get it.

"I cover two cards, end of turn."

Shaking his head helplessly, the Pharaoh could only end his turn, but he was still quite satisfied with the situation he had created.

Three monsters, two face-down cards, and one card in his hand. Even if he can't attack because of the existence of the Demon Clock Cave, all of these can be left for Jaden later. These are all the groundwork he laid for this team duel.

Especially those two face cards, they'll definitely be very useful!

"If you attempt to interfere with my actions with a trap card, I can only apologize to you."

Mr. Phantom Thief was well aware of what might happen when he fought against the Pharaoh, and he also knew that if he were a future duelist, his deck would definitely include many red cards.

"My turn, draw a card!"

"As an apostle of this world, those who dare to oppose me will only be crushed by fate!"

Having this card in your hand gives you a lot of confidence!

"The magic card 'Harpie's Feather Duster,' your face-down card, is not worth mentioning!"

Suddenly, the phantom of a harpy appeared, flapping its wings and stirring up gusts of demonic wind.

A whirlwind swept towards the trap set by the Pharaoh, but the trap did not react at all. The Pharaoh could only watch helplessly as the face-down card he had prepared to use to restrict his opponent was swept away by the whirlwind.

"If only I had a Divine Declaration in my hand," the Pharaoh thought.

"Tsk tsk tsk..." The Phantom Thief feigned surprise, patting his chest. "[Dark Demon Resurrection Coffin] and [Skill Extraction]?"

"Your card is powerful, but meaningless!"

Damn it, you really know how to play dirty! If I hadn't had a feather duster, I probably would have been completely ripped off.

Mr. Phantom Thief remembers clearly that the unnerfed [Chaos Black Magician] was in the game's deck. As soon as that fake card appeared, it could retrieve cards like Greedy Heaven from the game's graveyard. If it were even more ruthless, it could recycle cards like Life Destroyer or Heavenly Descent, allowing for a massive card draw!

The calculation method goes without saying; those who know, know.

Those who didn't understand eventually learned after being taught a few lessons.

"Yugi-san, it's okay. Even though you've lost your face card, you still have powerful monsters on your field!" Mr. Fudo, a true high-EQ card player, offered timely words of comfort.

"Well, I'm fine, it's just that I've lost two more cards that I could use to help you."

The Pharaoh got along well with the two people who suddenly appeared before him, and he was indeed curious about how future duelists would duel. That's why he chose to be the first to act—he had prepared in advance to pave the way for those who came after him. The slight frustration he felt just now was because he hadn't been able to leave more for those who came after him.

His past failures had made him less concerned about winning or losing duels. He liked a phrase that a friend used to say all the time: "Duel is all about having fun and laughing."

Although this guy always says the same thing, he just beats up the people he duels with.

I'll definitely give him a good beating sometime when I get the chance!

For some reason, the Pharaoh's thoughts also began to wander, until the atmosphere on the field suddenly changed.

The powerful magic that had been binding the monster disappeared.

The Demon Bell Cave has vanished.

Instead, a dense network of purplish-red veins, like blood vessels, was laid out on the ground, in the sky, and in every place.

"Field Spell Card [Source Network] activated!"

"Number is the origin of all things, and the nature of all things has a fixed number!"

"All things are determined by numbers, and the harmony of numbers is the harmony of order!"

Change the world.

This is the power of the source number.

Even after being transformed into a card and weakened, the source code that possesses the power to create and rewrite the world still displays power commensurate with its name when it is released.

"What... kind of power is this?"

Feeling the vast and boundless power of the source number, the Pharaoh couldn't help but utter words somewhat similar to those of the seahorse.

Unlike the Pharaoh's感慨 (deep emotion/reflection), Yusei was only slightly surprised, while Jaden...

He glanced at the Phantom Thief a couple more times without making it obvious.

I also quietly asked Hubert if he felt any familiarity with the place.

This posture gave Jaden a strong sense of déjà vu, and combined with his previous strange remarks, it was reminiscent of a certain guy with a wicked sense of humor.

Unfortunately, Hubert has never really liked interacting with people other than the Tenth generation, so she couldn't see anything wrong with him.

"It seems we'll have to wait until Aibo gets the hang of it before asking it. If it's Aibo, it'll definitely be able to tell the difference."
