Chapter 460 A Fight to the Death!

Sizzle... Boom!

A thunderous roar erupted from the clear sky, and a streak of lightning, accompanied by a purple-blue hue, hurtled towards Thanos, tearing through the void and appearing in front of him in an instant.

At extreme speed, Thanos only saw a flash of light before Cao Gui appeared in front of him.

"Damn it, how did this guy suddenly increase his speed so fast..." Thanos was horrified. He crossed his arms in front of him, and crimson light enveloped him, protecting his body.

That speed is terrifying; there's absolutely no chance of building up a counterattack!

In the next instant, the lightning and the purple-blue light suddenly separated, turning into hundreds and thousands of streams of light that swept across the sky.

Bang bang bang! Bang bang bang!

"Cough..." Thanos coughed up blood instantly. His fist, which was wrapped in high-level Armament Haki, hit not only the surface of the skin, but also the bones and internal organs. In just a moment, Thanos suffered the injuries caused by his previous failures in conquering the universe.

"Six Styles - Shave!"

With a soft shout, Cao Gui stomped his dragon feet on the void, his figure crackling with lightning, tearing through space and suddenly appearing behind Thanos.

The dragon claws clenched tightly, purple flames surged and bulged, crackling purple lightning crackled and flickered, and muscles bulged and veins stood out on the jet-black, iron-like arms.

With his abdomen drawn in, hips rotated, waist twisted, and right shoulder pulled back, Cao Gui's power accumulated to its peak, then exploded instantly.

boom!!

A purple-blue light pierced through his body, and as space shattered, a bowl-sized wound suddenly appeared on Thanos's chest and abdomen, and purple blood gushed out, instantly staining his golden armor purple.

"My lord/master!" The five Black Order members were horrified upon seeing this. Since they had followed Thanos, they had never seen Thanos suffer such injuries. How could that half-dragon have done this?

"Thanos is injured! And seriously!"

The Avengers' joy was palpable; if they hadn't already been fighting the Black Order, they would have been celebrating their victory.

"Stop standing there! Take down Thanos's minions!" Steve roared, punching and kicking Corvus Glaive away. The sharp edge of his shield swept across, instantly slicing half of Corvus Glaive's neck.

Proxima Midnight roared, kicked Steve aside to save Corvus Glaive, and shoved his head back onto his neck.

"You bastards, you've taken everything from me!" Proxima Midnight roared in a low voice, the short sword in her hand flashing white light, ready to devour someone.

Avengers members: "..."

We only killed you, we didn't do anything to you, did we? We didn't even take our clothes off.

"You have taken my master..." Proxima Midnight growled through gritted teeth, but before he could finish speaking, a crimson light flashed across the sky, and Thanos was once again full of energy, his serious injuries disappearing instantly.

Cao Gui's face instantly darkened. The Reality Stone could still be used?

"While it can't be used in battle, it's enough to repair my body." Thanos wiped away the dripping blood from his body and sneered:

"Your Space Stone can't be used on me!"

"Immortality?" Cao Gui sneered, "I'll make you wish you were dead!"

"Hey...you still can't do it!" Thanos gripped the Infinity Gauntlet tightly, drawing in terrifying energy once more. His body blazed with red light, and his purple face began to turn black.

The two were evenly matched in combat, but Thanos was caught off guard by Cao Gui's sudden surge in speed, which nearly led to his defeat and death.

But not now... Thanos's eyes flashed red, and his expression was filled with ferocity. This time, he was willing to risk his life to kill this troublesome guy in one fell swoop!

Seeing the resolute look on Thanos's face, Cao Gui felt a chill run down his spine, knowing that this guy was about to fight desperately.

Cao Gui's face twitched. He didn't have an immortal body... Although Zoan-type Devil Fruits have strong regenerative abilities, they are only regenerative abilities, not immortality.

"Since that's the case..." A fierce glint flashed in Cao Gui's eyes, and lightning lit up the left half of his body, instantly transforming him into an elemental form. The lightning crackled and exploded, piercing the air and bringing with it a burnt smell.

"A body made of lightning?" Thanos grinned. "Also, an immortal body. Now I can fight to my heart's content!"

"I'm not here to fight you!" Cao Gui said coldly, his five fingers, transformed into silver-white lightning, clenched in mid-air.

Character cards have time limits. Cao Gui was confident that he was no weaker than Thanos in his blank state, but the Thanos in front of him had a Reality Stone and he had already experienced his power firsthand.

If Kaido's character card expires, he will definitely be at a disadvantage and eventually be suppressed by the immortal Thanos. After collecting the gems, with all six Infinity Stones gathered, no matter how strong Cao Gui is, he can only admit defeat and wait for death.

This is absolutely unacceptable. Thanos has already mastered the advanced level of domineering aura, so keeping him around is useless. It's time to collect experience and merits. Cao Gui must immediately kill Thanos to prevent future troubles.

Thanos sneered, "You want to kill me? I want to kill you too!"

……

Below, the Avengers once again faced off against the Black Order.

They had fought them once before, and successfully killed the four. Now, they were confident they could kill the four aliens again.

Hulk faced off against his old rival, Black Dwarf. Since Steve had lost an arm, he fought alongside him.

Rhodes and Rocket Raccoon flew through the air and attacked Corvus Glaive with their weapons. Judging from the melee weapons on his body, the two quickly learned his combat weakness. They kept firing cannons in the air, leaving Corvus Glaive helpless against them.

Iron Man Tony Stark versus Ebony Maw: a clash of technology and magic that is truly spectacular.

Of course, what's even more interesting is their verbal sparring. Tony Stark is known for his incredibly sharp tongue, while Ebony Maw is known as "the black tongue that spreads lies and evil wherever it goes."

The two engaged in a fierce verbal battle, a clash between technology and magic, their back-and-forth fighting leaving the man... evenly matched.

Meanwhile, Proxima Midnight faced off against Thor. Logically, Thor, the powerful figure who defeated Thanos five years ago, should have crushed Proxima Midnight. However... Proxima Midnight had extremely rich combat experience. After a simple clash, he knew that Thor was no match for him.

But Thor also revealed his weaknesses: speed and agility!

Having been a couch potato for too long, his body has accumulated too much fat, and his fighting spirit has dropped to a shocking level.

After probing this point, Proxima Midnight no longer chose to confront Thor head-on, but instead engaged in hit-and-run tactics, making contact and then retreating.

What she had to do was keep Thor, the strongest fighter, occupied. Once her other companions finished off their opponents and were free to deal with them, then they would be completely defeated by this bunch of weaklings!

Therefore, the advantage lies with me!

Thinking this way, but Thor was no easy man.

He was extremely experienced in dealing with itinerant fighters; his own brother Loki had always used this method against him. The solution was simple: just break the opponent's leg!

Thor grinned, and with his left hand, Mjolnir, crackling with lightning, he slammed it into the ground.

With a deafening roar, Proxima Midnight was forced to retreat. Thor's small, fleshy eyes lit up with joy, and he charged forward, raising his Stormbreaker.

"Hahaha...you're finished!"

Thor laughed arrogantly, the Power Gem at the top of Stormbreaker shone brightly with purple light, and the sharp axe blade flashed with purple light as he slashed down at Proxima Midnight.

"Damn it... I'm doomed!" Proxima Midnight cried out that I was going to die, but at that moment, the Stormbreaker did not fall, but instead froze in front of Proxima Midnight's forehead.

“Wang Defa?!” Thor’s small eyes widened in surprise.

The next second, it flew away with a whoosh, heading in the direction where Thanos and Cao Gui were facing off.

"I'm... I'm saved?" Proxima Midnight was overjoyed, but when she looked up, her heart sank. The Storm Axe was in Cao Gui's left hand.

"Damn it..."

Chapter 461 Die!

"Hey! My Stormhammer!" Thor shouted, spreading his five fingers at the departing figure, calling out to his beloved weapon.

However, Stormbreaker ignored Thor and flew away.

"Damn it!" Thor cried out, but there was nothing he could do; this was the first time he had encountered such a situation.

The Thor in this world is different from the Thor in that world. He has not experienced Cao Gui's beatings and tortures, so he is very immature. Faced with the departure of Stormbreaker, he is at a loss and heartbroken.

If this were Thor in Cao Gui's world, he would have been used to it by now. Even Mjolnir could fly away, let alone Stormbreaker.

Stormbreaker: "..."

Taking advantage of Thor's momentary daze, Proxima Midnight roared and launched a flying kick that struck Thor squarely in the face.

With a thud, Thor rolled several times and crashed into the ruins, Mjolnir falling from his hand to the ground.

Boom!

With a loud bang, Steve, despite having his shield up, was still smashed away by Black Dwarf's hammer and landed next to Thor.

Black Dwarf is enormous and its power is no less than Hulk's... Anyway, Hulk is gone, so nobody knows if that's true or not.

"Hey, buddy, you're here too?" Thor grinned, feeling much better.

"Damn it, I'm going to kill that alien!" Steve roared, hoisting his shield and charging out again.

Thor pounded his chest, roared in response, and charged toward Proxima Midnight. As he moved, he bent down and grabbed at Mjolnir... grabbed... but missed?

"Wang Defa?!" Thor stared blankly at Mjolnir taking flight, then Mjolnir gave him an even bigger surprise.

With a whoosh, it landed in Steve's hand. Captain America activated the lightning and hurled it at Black Dwarf.

"Do not--!"

"Mjolnir!!"

Thor looked up to the sky and cried out in grief, his heart aching ten times more than when Stormbreaker had left!

Stormbreaker: "..."

……

Looking up at the Stormbreaker in the palm of the Thunderfury, Thanos felt a chill run down his spine, a coldness rising from his heels to the top of his head.

Every cell in his body was telling him: Danger!

This enemy who has obtained the weapon is extremely dangerous!

Thanos even sensed the threat of death!

but……

"So what?" A determined glint flashed in Thanos's eyes:

"My many years of conquest, brutality, and slaughter... have never been mixed with personal feelings, but only for one thing: there are too many lives in this world, and they will destroy this universe. What I want to do is to save the universe I live in."

"My home planet Titan, there are too many people who need to survive. Everyone needs food, and everyone needs living space."

"But Titan could no longer sustain them. They killed each other for food, sons killed fathers, fathers killed sons, and even exchanged children to eat each other. In the end, the entire planet was destroyed."

"This world can't go on like this anymore, and no one can stop me!"
