Tonight, Alice joins the hunt.

When the kingdom of life was so close, and power and the crown were within reach, Sirin sensed the undisguised gaze of the spy.
She stopped, turned her head, and looked at the source of the gaze.
At the edge of her vision, a cold and elegant woman dressed in palace attire was watching her from the edge of this realm of life, waiting for her.
—She sensed a life level and power of someone of the same caliber.
So Celine nodded slightly to the waiting man whose name she did not yet know.
"Central Continent Team, Sirin." Miss Sirin gently pressed her chest as she announced her team and name.
And she received an answer, which did not disappoint her.
“Demon Team, Luo Hao.” The person waiting bowed to her.
“If my memory serves me right, I recall there’s a tacit understanding between our Central Continent Team and your Demon Team.” Sirin raised an eyebrow, staring intently at her. “If you coveted this supreme divine power from the beginning, you should have already mastered it by the time I arrived. But as it stands, it seems you’re waiting for me?”
Xilin slightly rummaged through her memory bank… Ah, memories. Luo Hao, also known as Luo Cuilian. The original world was a world called [Godslayer]. In that world, she was one of the few Godslayers who devoured divine power and ruled over a region. And the power she possessed…
Well, those powers are useless. Neither the divine power of the god-slayer nor Luo Hao's own martial arts skills hold much significance in realms beyond True God—small moves dealing a thousand points of damage and ultimate techniques dealing a trillion points of damage are worthless to a transcendent being who can arbitrarily define number lines. She must possess another unique power in this era.
then--
“No, it’s not you.” The reincarnator who called himself Luo Hao, the martial artist, took a small step forward. “I’m waiting for a battle, a fight that can calm the boiling blood in my veins. So I’m here, waiting for any adversary who tries to touch this supreme divine power, and you just happen to be here.”
"A battle?" Sirin raised an eyebrow, glancing at the Blood Kingdom where Zheng Zha was. "Then why don't you go there? I believe our Central Continent team captain can definitely meet your special needs. Perhaps you could try your luck with Alice here; I'm sure you'll receive a warm welcome."
“Then I’ll die there.” Xilin saw Luo Hao’s lips curl up slightly. “A lion cub baring its teeth at a tiger cub is a sign of courage and wisdom. But if, before it has grown up, it overestimates itself and provokes a rhinoceros, an elephant, or even squats in front of a road roller baring its teeth and claws, then it is no different from an idiot—your captain has our captain to deal with. Your strategist has our strategist to deal with. And you just happened to run into me.”
"King against king, soldier against soldier?" Sirin chuckled. "Looks like you're taking me for a fool... Are you sure you really want to make your move at this time, at this juncture?"
"Understanding is not an alliance, Miss Sirin." Luo Hao clenched his fist lightly, and thunderous sounds echoed in the void. "Besides, we're only here to determine the winner, not to decide life or death. Or do you think you can kill me?"
“Battles between transcendent species who are both prepared are quite boring…” Sirin sighed softly, flexing her ten fingers. “Oh well, let’s just treat it as a way to pass the time. If you—”
"If you have that confidence!"
As soon as they finished speaking, their figures flickered suddenly.
And then, the source world lines that had been drawn into this finite final war multiverse began to entangle!
In Sirin's original world, at the point in time when Sirin was still working as research material in the Destiny Organization's laboratory, Luo Hao's form suddenly appeared above that tiny planet watched by the Honkai Will. She stood on the moon, and the moon, several years before the 'future' Sirin, fell straight towards the Earth's surface!
The moon will fall, and the falling moon will erase Sirin's origin along with the entire planet.
However, the timeline shifted abruptly. Eight minutes before Luo Hao's form appeared on the lunar surface, a torrent of solar flare erupted from the sun's surface due to a series of coincidences. It transformed into an invisible, dense stream of heat that shot directly towards the lunar surface directly above it!
The amount of the solar flare was exactly the same as the total force deployed by Luo Hao. And when the timing was correct, Luo Hao's avatar, which was supposed to arrive eight minutes later in the 'future,' was completely incinerated by the solar flare jet that struck head-on!
A victory or defeat in an instant.
However, the outcome was still undecided.
The outwardly aggressive attack was a prelude to a covert maneuver. While the source world line was being disrupted at this stage, another avatar of Luo Hao appeared at the very moment Xilin was about to be born. To avoid attracting attention, Luo Hao only channeled mortal power into this avatar. This avatar then eroded the form of a midwife and deliberately stumbled during the delivery!
She didn't actually fall because another nurse reached out and caught her. The forceps, which would have struck the newborn's head and affected her intellectual development, were gently caught before reaching their destination. A faint, forked glint flickered in the other nurse's eyes.
"I see you," Celine said lightly.
Then, in the more distant past, things changed again. The nurse who was about to be possessed received a cup of soy milk with special ingredients when she bought breakfast before work. The soy milk churned in her stomach and, at the moment Luo Hao began to possess her, it interacted with the nurse's biomagnetic field in fluid form, thus creating an exorcism spell specifically for Luo Hao!
Luo Hao's incarnation was completely dissolved without even a 'squeak'.
The struggle continues to spread and infiltrate into the more distant past.
—Tracing the flow.
Shortly after Celine's mother became pregnant, a stray dog, carrying a host of germs, tried to approach her. However, it encountered the wrong person at the wrong time—a righteous city management officer who was out on official business spotted it at a safe distance and knocked the stray dog out of the way with a precise tranquilizer dart.
—Tracing the flow.
When Celine's mother and father were getting married, a venomous worm was about to approach one of them and inject a toxin that could cause short-term hallucinations—but before that could happen, a hummingbird flew by and snatched the worm away.
—Tracing the flow.
Before Celine's mother grew up, a developer had the idea to install suggestive advertisements on both sides of the streets the little girl frequently passed, hoping to influence some children to change their life goals by choosing relevant majors and applying for jobs at such companies. This project was aborted before it could even begin due to a sudden financial crisis, and the streets had to retain their previous layout and plans.
—Tracing the flow.
When Celine's grandmother was still an infant, the intensity of light radiation that year was increased several times over due to a supernova explosion hundreds of millions of light-years away—potentially causing some young children to develop genetic diseases. However, the increased light radiation also triggered some minor climate changes. Months of continuous rain kept infants and young children indoors, and although many children still fell ill that year, the crucial one remained unharmed.
—Going upstream. —Going upstream. —Going upstream.
War erupts at every point in time, sometimes small, sometimes large, sometimes subtle, sometimes explicit. Sometimes it's at the microscopic level, a butterfly effect triggered by the collision of small particle swarms. Sometimes it's at the macroscopic level, with god-like power directly descending upon the world, shattering everything in the battle and then creating anew. Cause and effect intertwine, order and destiny disrupt each other, and sometimes an insignificant defeat becomes a deadly trap at another point in time, only to be restored to normalcy under the intervention of absolute corrective forces.
A war between species, both sides prepared for it. It's boring.
Because this same development wasn't just happening to Sirin, but also in Luo Hao's source world line. Both of them, without prior agreement, avoided the source world lines covered by the main god's space, instead projecting their power and interference onto those areas that hadn't yet been able to extend into the main god's jurisdiction.
Sirin has repeatedly attempted to erase Luo Hao's god-killing power from the causal chain. This includes, but is not limited to, tampering with the local god-killers before Luo Hao came into contact with the main god, rewriting Luo Hao's birth and the births of his ancestors, and even going so far as to travel back to the primordial ancient times of the god-killer world and destroy it before the gods of that world descended!
Of course, this is actually of no use.
Just as Luo Hao, if she were to travel back to the origin of the Honkai world and attempt to erase Sirin's existence by breaking the Honkai will, would inevitably encounter a true god-level Sirin avatar who would brutally beat her, if Sirin had the same intention, she would receive the same treatment in the origin of the God-Slayer world. Even knowing the inevitable outcome, she would still try, but the result of that attempt would be a severe beating.
Severe beating.
The mutual beatings between transcendent species are actually not very meaningful. After all, as long as the source world line is not corrected or overwritten, even if the outer form is beaten up miserably, it can be repaired and return to normal in an instant.
Meaningless.
In this pointless battle, Sirin didn't even use her Linked powers. Of course, Luo Hao also made no use of his unique powers to interfere with the source world line. So the battle was just a boring brawl.
And so—time was deleted.
When both sides clearly realized that, as long as they didn't fight to the death, neither could defeat the other, and even if they fought to the death, neither could really harm the other, the end of the war was accompanied by a clash of their gazes.
Their gazes met only briefly before parting.
And all the source world lines that had been interfered with and distorted were thus restored to normal.
Celine was still Celine, and Luo Hao was still Luo Hao. The two still stood on opposite sides of the Kingdom of Life, and everything remained unchanged from before the war.
Xilin gazed at Luo Hao, and Luo Hao gazed at Xilin. Then—
One person burst out laughing.
“See?” Sirin shrugged. “Fights between prepared transcendent beings are just this boring. Unless you can pull out a rare acquired spiritual treasure from your pocket, the outcome between you and me will remain uncertain even if the battle continues until the very end—”
"Should we continue?" Sirin asked.
“There’s no need for that.” Luo Hao tilted his head and turned around. “My goal has been achieved. You have indeed wasted a lot of my time, and you are indeed worthy of this supreme divine power. And you… are indeed inferior to me.”
"You possess a postnatal spiritual treasure?"
“I didn’t.” Luo Hao shook his head, his form fading like a phantom. “But my true self is still alive, and there’s still a battle between her and me. Whether it’s me or her who survives, Luo Hao will be able to take another step upward. As for you… Miss Sirin, the Demon Team has no clone of you. Your potential has been exhausted.”
Her physical form, along with her voice, completely vanished.
Xilin watched Luo Hao leave, motionless and silent.
She could clearly sense a void in her thought process. It was a seal she herself had placed within it, concealing certain information.
She clearly understood that this battle was meaningless from the start. The reasons for the struggle were also rather far-fetched. The exchange between the two was less a matter of killing time and more a kind of unconventional form of communication. In other words, Luo Hao was the supplier of this intelligence.
really interesting.
These two transcendent beings couldn't speak directly, but instead had to use this method to transmit information. And the process of transmitting information wasn't even particularly obscure or complicated.
—A realization dawned on Celine.
Ugh, what bad luck! I've been used as a tool again. It's true that these days, if you don't want to use your brain, you're destined to be a tool. But even Miss Sirin, who's long been used to being a tool, felt a little unhappy when the situation came to this.
But even so—
You bunch of scheming bastards, don't even think about making me use my brain!
So, Miss Sirin rubbed her forehead, cleanly and decisively casting aside all the trivial matters in her mind. At that moment, no one could stop her from moving forward; she abandoned all thought and ascended to the supreme divine throne at the center of the realm of life!
The timeline of the universe was thus stabilized. Nurgle, one of the supreme divine powers and representing life force, thus gained a dominant ruler.
....................................
Alice looked away.
This wasn't her plan, or rather, even if it was, she had already forgotten about it. But even though she knew nothing about the plan itself, she saw some anticipated changes in Luo Hao's actions with the Demon Team.
A formidable opponent has entered the fray.
They are familiar enemies, and enemies with whom we have a history.
The first choice is Adam, the one who has become the representative of the Primal People. Although we don't know where he is now, he must know very well that if he shows himself, he will inevitably become the target of everyone's attacks. So the Primal People Adam is definitely hiding somewhere, accumulating or deploying his power.
The second candidate—Alice—shaked her head and stopped thinking about it.
Now is not the time to consider this, nor is this the place to do so. As she turned her gaze to the galaxy of the physical universe, Patchouli's arrangements for the Eldar pantheon reached their final stage—
—She could even sense that the last of the supreme divine powers, the god of pure evil who governs emotions and desires, was showing signs of manifestation as the mythology of the Spirit Race was completed.
Section 16, Third Second, Eighth
Zhan Lan twitched her ears as she walked on an ark world inhabited by the Spirit Race. Strictly speaking, she was the individual with the strongest connection to the Spirit Race within the entire Central Continent Team, and even within the entire Cycle World. After all, she had started her career many, many years ago by exchanging Spirit Race prophets, and she had never abandoned this enhancement throughout her long adventures.
Warhammer has been around for forty years, she knows that.
Not only did she understand it, but members of the Central Continent Team, the Demon Team, and even many powerful reincarnation teams also understood this worldview—although they didn't quite understand why a group of people were pretending not to understand. But at least they could confirm that the core of this worldview would never change.
This worldview is destined to revolve around war. Its intensity has no upper limit, and its duration has no end.
She knew the Eldar would decline, that the mortal empires would rise and then suffer a devastating blow. She knew the ancient space necromancers would resurrect, that the Zerg from beyond the galaxy would return, that the Orcs would regroup, and that an immense, irrational power would erupt from the chaos.
She knew everything, and she also knew that the world today was being deliberately guided by the reincarnators towards the worldview recorded in the records—the interference of transcendent species was an almost unstoppable, absolute force for a mere single universe. And soon, the last few pieces of the puzzle would be placed in their proper positions.
Perhaps this is a ritual? A ritual of unknown purpose, but one that should influence the outcome of this final battle?
Or perhaps the organizers of the ritual hoped for more than just an end to the battle within the cycle of reincarnation; perhaps they, or rather, they themselves, also had some ideas about the battlefields on the outside?
Zhan Lan rubbed her forehead. She knew perfectly well that the stable operation of this entire world-building scheme was clearly due to the tacit understanding between the Central Continent Team and the Demon Team, the two reincarnation squads. The unwritten ceasefire agreement, rather than being a way to eliminate unnecessary variables and finally let the two strongest teams fight it out, was more likely a facade. The true purpose of the decision-makers on both sides was probably this entire world-building scheme!
What exactly do they want to do?
What exactly are they trying to interfere with? What are they trying to influence?
Zhan Lan felt her forehead throbbing again after just rubbing it. While a being of the Transcendent descent shouldn't experience headaches, the sudden surge of too many possibilities during calculations made her treat it as a pain signal—simple things didn't cause headaches because they didn't require thinking. Complex things, however, would make her brain uncomfortable because excessive thought wasn't necessary for her.
[I can understand Miss Celine's feelings a little better now. Being around a bunch of calculating people who love multiple layers of nesting dolls... Thinking too much will only harm your safety and lifespan...] She sighed, giving up on further contemplation—staying where she was was enough, after all, she didn't need to be in charge of the main planning.
Layout, layout, it's giving me a headache.
