They could only pretend they didn't see the foolish thing Pietro had done, and quickly followed Harry with their girlfriends, heading towards the elevator.

Pietro then realized why the cheeseburger he was eating tasted a bit strange. He could only use his own strength to run to the bathroom, vomit, and then catch up with the others.

Harry and the others didn't leave first; they just waited in the elevator for the white-haired boy to return.

"Now, let's go see my office. It used to be my dad's, but I'm using it temporarily now," Harry said with a smile to his friends, pressing the elevator button to go straight to the top floor, ready to show them around his office. Although it was temporary, at least he was using it for now.

Just as Harry was preparing to show his friends around the office, a guy was walking towards the Plaza Hotel in New York. However, this guy was completely covered in black clothes, not a single inch of skin showing, only his eyes were visible to observe the world. He looked like the protagonist from Chekhov's story "The Man in a Case," except he didn't have rain boots or an umbrella; instead, he wore exquisite handmade leather shoes and a suit jacket.

"The enchanting New York City is truly irresistible," the strange man muttered to himself, his exposed eyes scrutinizing the Plaza Hotel before him, perhaps with a hint of a smile playing on his veiled face.

New Yorkers have probably seen plenty of people like this, and they wisely keep their distance to avoid any potential safety issues. Curiosity killed the cat, and it can kill a man. This is a simple truth that Americans, or New Yorkers, understand well.

Chapter 154 Miss Diana, you didn't want this either...

The man dressed in all black walked into the Plaza Hotel building without any apparent problem; no one thought he was supposed to be there.

However, no one noticed that the person who had been completely concealed now had a small gap at the wrist. But the exposed skin wasn't the color of a normal human, but a mesmerizing purple, a magical purple.

"Could you take me to the top floor, my friend?" He walked directly up to the lobby manager and said, "I trust you'll take me up, won't you?"

The lobby manager simply nodded slowly, then turned and led the man toward the elevator that went straight to the top floor.

The man was very skilled at all of this; he had done this many times before, and it wasn't a difficult task. However, what he was about to do now was something that truly excited him, thrilled him, and brought with it a long-absent nervousness.

The man had already taken off his clothes, revealing a bespoke purple suit underneath, and tidied his hair to ensure his appearance was neat and tidy.

A confident smile then appeared on his face, as if everything was under his control.

"We've arrived, sir." The lobby manager who had brought him up said respectfully to the man dressed entirely in purple, seemingly oblivious to the fact that he had done something wrong.

The man simply nodded slightly to the guy who had brought him up, saying, "Thank you, my friend." He then ignored the lobby manager, walked straight out of the elevator, and knocked on the door of his apartment building.

He straightened his suit and tie once again, not wanting to leave a bad impression on the person about to open the door.

It feels like this guy is here for a blind date, except his methods might be a little different.

The person inside seemed completely unfazed, opening the apartment door without a second thought, utterly unconcerned whether the person outside was someone she knew. And indeed, the homeowner didn't care about such things. On this planet, there was no one who could directly harm her.

"Excuse me, do we know each other?" Diana asked the purple-clad figure with a gentle smile. She had absolutely no recollection of having any connection with this infamous purple man.

But now, this guy has appeared right in front of me.

Moreover, this purple man seems a little different? Diana stared straight at the purple man's forehead; there seemed to be something there.

The moment Purple Man saw Diana, he broke into a bright smile. He had initially been somewhat apprehensive about the world he had randomly chosen, as it would be incredibly difficult for someone like him to survive in a world full of superheroes. Even as a member of this extraordinary world, he was still merely a mind-controller, and his abilities would even cease to function if he moved away from his target.

Now, seeing this superhero who shouldn't have existed in this world, Purple Man can finally relax completely. This world can now be his.

"Hello, Miss Diana, I'm a fan of yours. I apologize for the intrusion." As he spoke, he bowed slightly and extended his hand to Diana, seemingly acting like a fervent fan who had come just to see his idol.

However, these kinds of fans are usually called sasaeng fans (obsessive fans who stalk celebrities).

Diana also gave a warm smile. Although she didn't know what this guy was up to, she roughly understood that he was quite problematic. As for her address, basically anyone with a bit of connections or ability could find their address through various institutions; it wasn't too difficult.

Diana smiled, but didn't extend her hand. She simply said to the purple man again, "So, Mr. Fan, is there anything I can help you with? Do you need an autograph?"

She felt no displeasure at Diana's behavior, and simply put away the small object in her hand quietly: "I just wanted to meet my favorite superhero. If I've caused you any trouble, I can leave now."

Even as he said this, Purple Man actually took two steps towards the elevator door. He believed that Wonder Woman wouldn't just let him leave like that. Wonder Woman loved all things in the world; how could she not love him?

Whether I will love the world in the future is unknown. But I will definitely love him.

"Well then, Mr. Fan, take care." Diana said and closed her door, not at all inviting him in as Purple Man had imagined, but rather quite decisively turning him away.

This not only exceeded Zi Ren's expectations, but it even went beyond the predetermined trajectory of the thing in his mind. This was wrong. But he couldn't knock on the door again; even a three-year-old would know something was wrong if he did.

"Fuck!" Purple Man stepped into the elevator and growled angrily. He never expected this to happen; this was not normal.

Back in her apartment, Diana was listening to the guy who had been muttering profanities in the elevator. She didn't know what he had obtained, but it certainly wasn't something from this universe.

Otherwise, why would one person have all the versions of themselves from every other universe in their mind? If split personality could be played like this, everyone in the world would want to have one. At least they could get help from their parallel universe selves; surely not all their universe selves would be ordinary people. There would always be someone who's a monkey and a typewriter, the monkey that types out Hamlet.

"Interesting." Diana smiled. This guy's abilities could achieve unexpected results against many opponents. However, Diana was more interested in seeing who was behind this. While it was very likely the guy she had just killed, was it worth doing such a thing for the robots she had created?

But we still need to find evidence that it was that person, or evidence that someone else instigated it. Once we find it, we'll scatter their ashes!

To do something like this for yourself, you must have lived too long; you're trying to burn your brains out—you're asking for death.

When she sensed that the puppet, whom no one knew who had pushed out, had left the Plaza Hotel, Diana also left her apartment.

The fact that this guy could find her directly proves that Wanda and her group definitely knew about her. She was genuinely afraid that something unspeakable might happen.

For example: Miss Diana, you wouldn't want Wanda to get hurt, would you...?

The best option now is to provide Wanda and her friends with high-level psychological protection. As for the others, just send one remotely.

Please take one day off.

I need to review the plot and take a day off. ●﹏●

Chapter 155 I'm not going to wash my hands for a month!

The little guys were happily following behind Mr. Osborn, looking at this behemoth of biotechnology. As students of Midtown Tech High School, most of them could basically work for such a large company if they worked hard.

But ever since the Battle of New York, many students have suddenly started imagining themselves transforming into superheroes and doing something. However, Wanda and Pietro, who already possess superpowers, don't see anything special about superheroes. After all, they have a top-tier superhero in their family! It's impossible for them to feel any respect for superheroes out of distance; they simply don't have that feeling.

As the daughter of the NYPD director, Gwen is currently only thinking about working hard to find a good job that she likes; Peter, needless to say, is basically just trying to find a good job to ease the burden on his Aunt May.

Harry? He's a capitalist; he doesn't need to worry about work.

"Mr. Osborne, is everything alright now?" Peter asked his good brother cautiously, not wanting what had happened to him to happen to Harry.

Harry pursed his lips, unsure where to begin, and could only sigh as he said to Peter, "I'm not entirely sure either, but Dad should be alright." Then he smiled at his friends again, "Don't worry, we're Osborn, there's no problem we can't solve."

Peter nodded, seemingly understanding, while the other children, listening to Harry's somewhat Versailles-esque remarks, were at a loss for words. He seemed quite relaxed about it; there was no point in worrying.

"Come on, let me show you around some more. In case any of you end up at Osborne and can't find your way around, that would be a real slap in my face." Harry's joking tone completely dispelled the previous heavy atmosphere.

Just as they were about to continue wandering around the Osborne Building, a golden light slowly formed a human shape in front of them, but the light was too intense to make it easy to observe.

Wanda and Pietro almost instinctively protected their friend, standing at the front to prevent any accidents.

Harry immediately pressed the emergency alarm in Osborn. Who knew if the guy here was some supervillain? Evacuating people was the most important thing. He wasn't some evil capitalist who would put his employees on the front lines even during supernatural battles; getting his employees out of Osborn Building was the most important thing right now.

Even Gwen was searching for something useful to herself, something to at least protect herself. Although the person who came back seemed to be a very important figure, she couldn't just let him slaughter her.

"Very good, at least you know to protect the weakest one." A clear and pleasant voice came from the ball of photons.

Wanda and Pietro lowered their attack stances almost simultaneously. Even Harry, who had been tense, relaxed, staring somewhat fascinated at the ball of photons. Gwen and Peter recognized the voice, but couldn't place it. Since it was someone they knew, they both felt relieved.

How could there possibly be a supervillain in one's own circle of friends? Wanda and her friends' guardians are the strongest superheroes on this planet. How could anyone be so bold as to befriend them and then become a supervillain?

"Diana, you're back so soon?" Wanda said to the ball of photons with delight, making no attempt to hide her excitement. She had thought Diana would be away for at least a month or two, but it turned out to be just a day.

"I'm back now that things are over." The photon slowly materialized into Diana, her pretty face radiating a warm smile as she looked at the little ones.

Harry, on the other side, quickly rescinded the emergency evacuation order, explained the situation to the bewildered security chief, and then ordered everyone back to their posts. Then, the young Osborne executive looked at Diana, who was now standing before him, and smiled shyly.

“Harry, I know your father. Although the process may not have been pleasant, you are indeed a good boy.” Diana had naturally seen the shy little guy. She walked up to Harry and extended her hand. “You did well just now.”

Harry held Diana's hand somewhat awkwardly. Just as he had imagined, it was smooth and soft, but it also had a stronger feel than he had expected.

"Human life is the most important thing." Harry scratched his head sheepishly, but he still held Diana's hand until he noticed the strange looks from his friends around him, and then he let go of the person he had always dreamed of.

But why was Wanda's gaze so unsettling? Harry didn't think he had done anything to offend Wanda.

But seeing that even after he had done something so rude, Diana remained so gentle and kind, Harry felt as if a flower had bloomed in his heart. Even though he couldn't pluck it now, the flower was still there.

Diana didn't care about Harry's behavior at all. She'd seen so many people; he was just a little kid. Diana smiled, then patted the heads of the remaining four children, pausing slightly when she touched Gwen and Peter before resuming her actions. "New York might be a bit turbulent lately. You should be careful, especially with that guy in the purple suit and tie; he's quite dangerous."

The little ones nodded quickly, showing no sign of disobedience. After all, these were Wonder Woman's words, so how could they not believe them?

Harry had even planned to hire a team of security guards to inject the guy in the purple suit with a tranquilizer dart whenever they saw him. As for the risk of accidental injury? Hadn't he heard the New York superheroes say he was quite a dangerous individual?

As for the other friends, they all had their own plans. Wanda and Pietro didn't seem nervous at all. The two kids weren't ordinary people to begin with, and with Diana protecting them, they weren't afraid. Gwen's Commissioner Stacy was no pushover; the only potential problem here was the future Spider-Man, now Peter Parker.

But judging from the mental fortitude and control Diana had given them before, this kid is now speeding down the path to becoming that friendly New York neighborhood Spider-Man. And this time, it's not just one Spider-Man, but two. The appearance of two Spider-Men might be bad news for the New York thugs.

As for Kingpin now, he's not someone two fledgling Spider-Men can contend with. Moreover, it wouldn't be accurate to say that Kingpin rules the New York underworld, since he now only manages the high table system. And he's being extremely cautious, ensuring that all assassin operations in New York avoid Central Park as much as possible.

"You guys keep playing, remember to come home early." Diana lowered her head and gently kissed Wanda and Pietro on the forehead before disappearing from the Osborne Building. Only the little ones remained to continue their activities. Now, let's go see how that Yakuza Emperor, Kingpin, is doing.

In any case, this guy is now one of my men in every sense of the word.

After Diana left, Peter nudged his best friend: "Don't look anymore, she's not coming back."

Harry could only glare resentfully at his little brother who had so ruthlessly shattered his dreams. Then, looking at his right hand, which had just shaken hands with Diana, he resolved not to wash it for a month. He then lowered his hand and continued leading his friends on a tour of the capitalist's building.

However, as he lowered his right hand, it trembled slightly a few times, without Harry noticing.

Chapter 156 You're still alive?

Diana's next stop was the Insight Building, which she rarely visited. After all, she had her own house and there was no need to worry about the possibility of her suddenly transforming, so she didn't need to stay at the Insight Building much.

Now, that area has practically become a place where Banner and Hulk exchange affections. Oh, and there's that guy, Black Dwarf, whose current condition is uncertain. As for those locked up in the quiet room outside New York, they're practically invincible. The two Greek gods shouldn't be that fragile, otherwise, they wouldn't live up to their names.

"Hey, Diana, how come I remember I delivered the package to you yesterday? Or was it your lovely daughter, my student, who notified me?" Banner, who was doing yoga on the lawn outside the Insight Building, didn't even turn around, but already roughly knew who had come to the Insight Building.

After all, the only ones among the Insightful Ones who would attract the attention of the large green figure within him, besides Diana, were the burly, blond man who arrived with a loud rumble. But clearly, this quiet entrance wasn't in the blond man's style.

"Looks like you and Hulk are getting along pretty well now." Diana strolled over to Banner, who was doing yoga, and sat down on the lawn with remarkable nonchalance. It has to be said, Tony's choice of location was truly excellent; the environment here is simply superb.

Banner stopped what he was doing. To be honest, this thing was originally meant to calm his mind, but now it had become a way for him to relax for a period of time every day. After all, the big green guy inside him wasn't as irritable as before. He didn't know if it was because he released his emotions while fighting Black Dwarf or what, but the Hulk rarely jumped out directly because of his anger these days.

"At least we're not as sworn enemies as before." Banner also sat cross-legged on the lawn, but now he spoke of Hulk with far less gritted teeth than before; his current state was much better than before.

"You didn't come just to see the relationship between me and Hulk, did you?" Banner changed the subject and asked Diana. The Hulk issue wasn't a huge deal, but it wasn't insignificant either, certainly not enough to warrant Diana's personal trip. "How was your space trip?"

"It's alright. It's just that one guy got protected, so we can't kill him," Diana said lightly, without any sense of unease. After all, killing that guy by force was definitely possible, but that would be a huge loss.

“Indeed, there are always some people in the universe that we can’t fight.” Banner seemed somewhat relieved when he heard Diana’s words. “I always thought Hulk was an uncontrollable guy, the kind that no one could easily defeat. But you appeared, and now you’re telling me that someone can protect the person you want to kill. So Hulk is naturally not some uncontrollable and dangerous guy.”

Banner had even lay flat on the lawn, looking relaxed and happy. The Hulk had long been a source of anxiety for him, and he had no way to resolve it. It was only during this period with the Insightful One that he was able to calm down and properly communicate with the large green figure inside him.

“Then you’re overthinking it.” Diana had no intention of making things easy for Banner. “The guy who’s protecting people doesn’t really belong to this universe.”

Banner's previously calm and relaxed expression vanished completely; the truth Diana had revealed was simply unacceptable. But then Banner sat up again and said to Diana, "Thinking about those guys from parallel universes?"

This surprised Diana; this guy shouldn't have known about the Illuminati when she was dealing with them.
