Her face, which had been stained with blood and looked like a demon, now revealed her stunning beauty once again.

Stepping out of the bathroom, I wrapped myself in a bathrobe and sat down in my dining room, savoring the deliciousness of the ice cream.

Diana felt no remorse for leaving the Eternals' corpses on the so-called battlefield, knowing that S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military would clean up the mess.

Diana didn't care whether S.H.I.E.L.D. and the military could find any useful information from the Eternals. After all, the Eternals were a tool of the Celestials, and their existence was beyond the current capabilities of Earth.

Or rather, there's no way to spy on this technology.

Right now, the only person she cares about is this man who barged into her house for some unknown reason.

Even Gugu showed no hostility towards the man, and even nestled quietly beside him.

The man had long black hair, and his resolute face was now filled with vigilance. He even had his hand on his waist, as if he could launch an effective counterattack at any moment.

The black suit had numerous tears and rips, some of which were bleeding.

"Someone from the Continental Hotel?" Diana knew very well that anyone dressed like that in the entire city of New York, who even had multiple wounds and hadn't been taken away by the NYPD for investigation, could basically be identified as a killer from the Continental Hotel.

Or the person at the high table.

The man did not answer Diana's question, but continued to observe her every move with high tension, giving the impression of a leopard hiding in the grass, ready to pounce on its prey at any moment.

Diana's beauty seemed to have no effect on him whatsoever; he was like a sophisticated robot, always on high alert.

"I'm quite curious, why didn't you go to the Mainland Hotel? Shouldn't it be safer for you there?" Diana was also quite curious about the man's situation. Instead of going to the Mainland Hotel, he came to a place that could be said to have absolutely no security.

The man shook his head: "I'm not in a good enough condition to get to a hotel on the mainland right now."

Diana watched as the man's blood slowly seeped into her floor: "So you chose to stain my floor? It cost a lot."

The man never imagined that the woman in front of him was only concerned about his floor. A wealthy man living on the top floor of the Plaza Hotel in New York, would he really care about his floor?

If Diana knew what men were thinking, she would probably give you a good eye roll.

It's not like she bought the house; she doesn't have that much money to buy such a top-tier apartment, let alone the cost of repairs after it gets damaged.

“John Wick,” the man suddenly said.

“Okay.” Diana was completely unsurprised by this sudden self-introduction.

I've seen far too many people like this.

Chapter 65 Diana Misses the Little Mansion

“Diana Prince, if you’ve been following the news lately, you should recognize me.” Although Diana was speaking to Wick, her eyes remained fixed on the ice cream in her hand.

“Hmm.” Wick didn’t seem to care about Diana’s attitude when she spoke to him. It could be said that the biggest news in recent months was the insightful observation about this woman’s collaboration with Tony Stark.

"Don't you need to call a doctor to take a look?" John Wick's face was gradually losing its color, and Diana was afraid that the man would die in her house at any moment.

It doesn't matter if someone died in the house, the main problem is that now that person is dead, no one will compensate her for the flooring.

Diana has completely forgotten that Tony Stark used to be in charge of all the expenses for this apartment. Now, she doesn't want to spend any money on cleaning or renovating the house.

Wick felt his eyelids getting heavier and heavier, and he was too weak to speak, but now he could only apologize to Diana and the most important person in his life in his heart.

"Boom."

Wick collapsed to the ground, unable to answer Diana's question.

"Meow~"

Gugu looked at Diana with some confusion, as if asking Diana: Is this person dead?

Perhaps John Wicker was born with the ability to befriend animals, and even alien creatures would be attracted to him.

"It's alright, he won't die." Diana carefully examined Wick's injuries. Actually, there weren't any major problems. It was just that he was severely exhausted and lost blood, which caused him to faint.

"I think I remember there's a first-aid kit in this house." Diana put down her ice cream and began looking for the kit. There should be at least some gauze or something inside; she could bandage him up first, in case he really died in her own apartment.

While Diana was rummaging through her home medicine cabinet, she also made a phone call to the Continental Hotel in New York.

Winston, who was examining the new gold coins on the hotel rooftop, stopped paying attention to the coins when he saw it was Diana calling. She gestured for him to finish the call before continuing to examine the new coins: "Hello, Miss Diana."

"Yes, one of your assassins is injured and is with me now. I suggest you find a doctor to come and treat him." Diana's voice was rustling and somewhat noisy.

Winston didn't care what Diana was doing; he was only worried about one thing: whether the assassin's actions would offend her. "I understand, miss. Has this caused you any unexpected trouble?"

"No, but you'd better clean up my floor for me. That guy got it dirty." Diana had already found the first-aid kit.

Diana didn't move Wick; she simply ripped his clothes off where he had fallen.

Diana's method of bandaging Wick's wounds was not gentle, but rather almost brutal.

Only the way she tied the knot at the end subtly revealed a bit of Diana's girlish heart—a pretty bow.

Diana clapped her hands in satisfaction and stopped paying attention to the guy she had wrapped up like a dumpling.

Just as Diana was getting ready to go and rest, there was a knock on the door.

"They're here." Diana tightened her bathrobe, after all, less than three minutes had passed since she called the Mainland Hotel. Unless the Mainland Hotel had arranged for a helicopter to fly over.

Moreover, the hotel didn't even call them.

The moment the door opened, a dark gun barrel was pointed at Diana's chest.

“Relax, we’re just here to take someone away, we won’t pose any danger to you.” A thick Italian-accented English reached Diana’s ears.

It was a group of people in black suits, and the leader was a typical Italian man. His handsome face, full of Italian charm, had an expression that made people feel trustworthy, like a gentle and considerate neighbor.

The man waved his hand, signaling the guy who had been pointing his gun at Diana's chest to put it away.

“Ricardo, in case… (Italian)” the man said to the leader, a man named Ricardo, in Italian.

“She’s just a young girl, she’s only wearing a bathrobe, what danger could she pose?” Ricardo didn’t see any threat Diana as a potential threat. “I bet she’s not wearing anything underneath. I know women like that all too well.”

Even though the men around him wore those inexplicable smiles, Ricardo's face remained gentle and considerate, without any change.

“I’m curious, why didn’t you notify me downstairs? How did you get up here?” Diana crossed her arms and scanned the men in front of her.

These people were somewhat surprised that this pretty young woman could speak Italian.

Ricardo's gentle face changed slightly: "Since you know, then please step aside." This time, Ricardo didn't use Italian, but spoke to Diana in English.

Diana shook her head: "You didn't say how you got up here?"

Diana didn't smell any blood on them, nor did she hear any gunshots nearby, which made her particularly curious about how these people had gotten the people downstairs to let them up.

Ricardo had changed his attitude from the beginning. He pulled the obviously uncooperative woman aside, facing the man who had previously pointed a gun at Diana.

You can't blame Ricardo for this; he only recently returned to America, and upon his return, he was already in a bit of a mess because of a hitman from the Continental Hotel.

Naturally, he didn't recognize the woman in front of him.

In his eyes, Diana was probably just a canary kept by some rich man, after all, it's not like the rich in America aren't capable of doing such things.

As long as this woman isn't hurt, there won't be any major trouble.

The man raised his gun, pointed it at Diana's head, and tilted the muzzle, gesturing for Diana to move aside.

Diana stopped worrying about how these people got up there; once she took action, she knew everything.

Ricardo only felt a white figure moving around, and then he was all alone.

"Now you can answer me, how did you get up here?" Diana still held the gun that the man who had pointed it at her earlier was holding.

With a gentle squeeze of her slender hand, the pistol was reduced to a pile of parts.

"Come on, tell me." Diana completely stopped this time, at least she didn't make a mess of blood everywhere, she didn't want to go back to take a shower again, "I really didn't expect that you and that man in my house could get into my room so easily."

Ricardo had never seen anything like this before. She was clearly a harmless-looking woman, perhaps with some signs of fitness training, and he never imagined such a scene would unfold.

“When those Israelis renovated this hotel, they left a secret passage for people to leave in an emergency. You can go through there without going to the front desk.” Ricardo’s impatient expression had long since disappeared; he just hoped Diana would let him off the hook.

Although this is impossible.

Diana casually uttered a "thank you," and the next moment, the pistol part in her hand pierced through Macado's forehead.

"It's not as good as my little house." Diana felt a pang of longing for her own little villa.

The Arc Reactor that they managed to salvage hasn't even been used yet.

And at least it won't be because of some strange secret passage that people can enter so easily.

Chapter 66 The Unstudiable Eternals

When Winston arrived at the Plaza Hotel, he found the ground outside littered with corpses.

Winston could only be thankful that he had brought people with him, so he could still clean up the place.

"Thank you for your help, Charlie." Winston handed a few gold coins to the white-haired old man wearing a hat behind him.

"It's my pleasure." After accepting the gold coins, Charlie directed the burly men behind him to begin cleaning up the mess in the corridor.

Everything was done in an orderly and meticulous manner.

Winston, relieved that Charlie would handle the mess outside, went to Diana's door and knocked.

"Looks like the person who came back this time isn't some nobody." Diana opened the door and saw Winston's calm face.

“Good afternoon, Miss Diana,” Winston said with a smile.

Diana's gaze swept past Winston and landed on the people behind him, making it clear that he had come fully prepared.

“Come in,” Diana said to Winston, stepping aside from the doorway.

Winston nodded slightly, but did not go in. He simply gestured to the medical personnel behind him who were carrying various first-aid supplies.

Diana didn't care and just stood at the door waiting for these people to take John Wick away.

"I'm sorry you had an unpleasant afternoon," Winston said apologetically, looking at Diana's still slightly damp hair.

"Not really, today was pretty good." Diana seriously considered her experiences today.

Simply put, I really had a blast today.

Upon hearing Diana's words, Winston could only smile and say nothing more.

The two men watched as the paramedics inside the house treated John Wick's wounds again and prepared to leave with him.

"Goodbye, Miss Diana." Winston tipped his hat to Diana and then left the Plaza Hotel with his men.

Looking at the clean and tidy environment inside and outside the house, Diana had to admit that some things were indeed better left to professionals. It was as if no conflict had ever occurred; there wasn't a single trace of blood.
