Wanda moved closer, not to grab the blonde woman, but instead squeezed between the two, forcefully interrupting Carol's actions.

Only then did Diana glance at the little witch who was pouting at Carol, then hugged the little witch and said to Carol, "This is my child, Wanda."

Carroll was also stunned when he heard this. What was going on?

"You're married?" Carol looked at the little witch, then at Diana.

"Another guest?" Tony wondered, noticing that neither Diana nor his goddaughter had returned to the living room. He walked to the entrance and saw Captain Marvel frozen in place.

Upon seeing a man emerge from Diana's house, Carol instinctively unleashed a barrage of shots at Tony.

Fortunately, Diana reacted quickly enough and blocked the photon cannon with her protective silver bracelet.

“I’m not married,” Diana said helplessly to Carol, then showed Carol her beautiful hands, which were without any rings.

Carroll managed to suppress her urge to kill the man who had appeared in Diana's house. She let out a long sigh and asked Diana, "So, what's the situation with the child?"

"Emmm, they chose me to be their mother." Diana spoke with a tender maternal quality that was captivating.

“I think you should tell me properly what happened while I was away from Earth,” Carol said earnestly to Diana.

"of course."

Chapter 103 Carol and Wanda's Conversation

After listening to Diana recount her recent experiences to Carole, even Carole was surprised to learn that Diana's life had been quite eventful lately.

And basically everything that happens within a year.

This made Carol feel that at least her partner had some entertainment on Earth.

Rubbing her temples, Carol accepted Diana's current situation: "So you've started a hero organization called the Insightful Ones?"

Diana nodded.

At this moment, Little Wanda, who was standing nearby, also walked over to the two of them with two glasses of lemonade.

He handed Carole a glass of lemonade he had specially made, then quickly slung his leg over to Diana and gave her the other glass.

Diana gently stroked the little witch's hair, then sat down on the sofa next to her.

As Diana's little darling, Wanda snuggled into Diana's arms without any hesitation and even winked at Carol.

At this point, Carol was certain that the little guy was provoking her—a blatant provocation! It wasn't just a casual glance. Carol was absolutely certain that the little guy had tampered with the lemonade in her glass.

"You haven't properly introduced this pretty young lady to me yet," Carol said with a smile, putting down the lemonade she was holding.

The mischievousness in the little witch's eyes had clearly disappeared.

This scene was naturally witnessed by Carol, who had been observing the little witch, and there was indeed something in that glass of lemonade.

“No? I remember telling you just now.” Diana was certain that she had explained the origins of her two little ones to Carol.

“I want to know more, especially about this little beauty.” Carol smiled at Diana, then stared at the little witch in Diana’s arms with the same expression.

Diana didn't see anything wrong with it, after all, Carole had always been very patient with children.

Moreover, Wanda and Pietro are now his children.

“Ms. Prince, although I know it’s inappropriate to interrupt your reminiscing, we really need to find out something from you right now.” Hill had no choice but to bite the bullet and interrupt the two women’s conversation.

Hill didn't come here to watch two old friends chat; she was in a real mess right now.

Although Hill's face always had that somewhat indifferent expression, compared to the previous hard-boiled egg, Hill's attitude was much better.

Diana didn't dislike the woman; she simply nodded, signaling them to go upstairs first.

Turning back to Carol, Diana smiled apologetically and said, "I don't think you've been too busy lately, so stay here and I'll talk to you properly tonight."

Carol nodded, indicating that Diana could go about her business. After all, with her own crystal about to be stolen, how could she possibly care about those guys fighting for their lives in space?

Moreover, this little thief was brought home by his own crystal.

Diana took the little witch out of her arms, kissed her forehead, smiled at Carol, and then went upstairs.

Once Diana's figure disappeared from the group of two, one big and one small, the harmonious atmosphere vanished.

"Shall we talk somewhere else?" Carol stood up, using her height to subdue the little girl in front of her.

The little witch Wanda showed no sign of backing down because of her height; she simply nodded and led Carol toward her bedroom.

"Don't you think there's something strange about the atmosphere between those two?" Tony said to Pietro, who was watching TV.

Pietro simply shook his head; he didn't see any problem with it. Games are great; there's no need for guessing, it's simple and straightforward.

Tony stopped thinking about it, but watching Pietro's dazzling skills made him itchy to try it himself: "Let me teach you how to play. First of all, no special abilities allowed."

Pietro thought for a moment and nodded.

While Tony and Pietro were engaged in their manly game of wrestling, another significant discussion was taking place in Wanda's bedroom.

Carol first looked at the decorations in little Wanda's bedroom.

It must be said that Diana put a lot of effort into decorating the bedrooms of her two children. Wanda's cottage basically gives people a strong sense of warmth as soon as they enter.

"Not bad," Carroll complimented.

Wanda sat on her bed: "Of course, Diana personally took me to pick this out."

Carol turned around and saw Wanda's smiling face.

“Diana was always very gentle, especially with children.” Carol remained unmoved by Wanda’s slightly boastful expression.

“Sometimes, kids aren’t so bad,” Wanda replied to Carol in a similarly indifferent tone.

As a straightforward person, how could Carol possibly keep engaging in such riddle-like conversations with Wanda?

"Is there something wrong with the glass of water you gave me?" Carol raised an eyebrow and got straight to the point.

“If you don’t want to touch Diana, this will be a delicious lemonade.” Wanda stared directly into Carol’s eyes, intently watching this woman who clearly had ulterior motives towards Diana.

"Oh, so young, and already jealous?" Carol laughed as she dragged a chair from Wanda's bedroom and sat down.

Wanda was annoyed by this woman's inexplicable over-the-top familiarity, but she couldn't get angry at her. It was so frustrating.

"To be honest, do you have the same purpose as me when it comes to Diana? Otherwise, why don't you call her 'Mom'?" Carol put her hands on the back of the chair and looked at little Wanda, who was now obviously blushing, with a smile.

Wanda blushed, but showed no agitation at Carol's words, simply replying, "Isn't that normal? That's what everyone calls us, isn't it?"

Carol could only shrug at the little guy's words, indicating that he was right.

"So, Diana is still mine, isn't she?" But the little witch's words gave Carol an opportunity, and she smiled and said this to Wanda.

“You’re too young. The water is deep here. You can’t handle it. Let Aunt Danvers help you.”

Little Wanda really wanted to use her abilities to smash this somewhat annoying woman in the face, but she couldn't, at least not for Diana's sake.

"Hehe~" Little Wanda chuckled coldly.

Carroll still had that same smiling expression.

“Diana is mine, and I won’t give her to you, you old geezer.” After saying this, Wanda stood up and prepared to leave.

Carol didn't mind, and simply said to Wanda, "Diana was an old lady too."

Wanda, her hand already on the doorknob, said to Carole without turning her head, "But Diana looks young."

When Wanda left the room, Carol was stunned. Hadn't she just gotten herself into a mess?

Looking at himself in the mirror in Wanda's room, he thought, "I don't look old at all."

Chapter 104 S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Desire to Cooperate

Downstairs, people are playing games, and those who don't like each other are still giving each other the cold shoulder.

Diana paid no attention to any of this, after all, she didn't know what kind of wicked schemes the group of people in front of her were plotting.

Diana led all the S.H.I.E.L.D. agents into the study upstairs.

Leaning on her supposedly very expensive desk, Diana gestured for the four SHIELD agents to sit in the spot where her little one used to do homework. The sofa that used to be there had been moved to the storage room by Diana.

When Banner saw the sofa that Diana had placed in the storage room, he only made a few helpless remarks.

"Big tycoon!" and similar phrases.

Hawkeye and Captain America simply shook their heads; their size might be a bit too much of a burden for those two positions.

Natasha and Hill did not choose to sit down themselves.

Diana didn't mind their choice to stand. After all, the current purpose of this spot was to supervise the two little ones doing their homework.

“So, tell me.” Diana crossed her arms, giving them time to explain why they had come to her at this time.

Hill calmed herself down and said to Diana, "I apologize for everything S.H.I.E.L.D. did that was irrational and for any mishandling of the situation."

“No need. I killed your previous director. That settles things between us.” Diana casually turned the page on the apology from Nick Fury’s former most trusted aide.

But some people might not be able to move on. Like that American guy with the perfect butt.

"I want to know what gives you the right to kill someone who contributes to world security?" Steve stood to the side, speaking to Diana as if he were the same instructor he had been in when he trained in that military camp, with a hint of accusation.

Diana had no desire to say anything to this giant popsicle that had only recently thawed, so she simply ignored it.

Steve was clearly confused as to why Diana didn't want to answer his question, and even wanted to speak again. But this time someone stopped him—it was Hawkeye Clint, who was standing next to him.

Clint also harbors deep resentment towards Diana for killing Nick Fury, but that's not the focus right now. Moreover, as an agent who participated in the operation against Diana, he knows all too well how excessive Nick Fury's surveillance and control over her were.

If it were him, he might also go berserk.

"Calm down, Captain." Clint placed his hand on the captain's shoulder, even though he knew he couldn't actually hold the captain down, but at least he had to calm him down.

Steve wasn't that reckless; he simply couldn't understand why Nick Fury, a positive figure who was supposed to protect the world's safety, was so disliked.

“Continue,” Diana said to Hill, completely ignoring the whispers between the two men.

"We need to know where Thor is right now?"

"You?" Diana looked up at the four people. "Do you represent S.H.I.E.L.D., or Thor's friends or comrades?"

“What’s the difference?” Natasha broke her silence and spoke to Diana instead.

Diana said to the group, "If this is about representing S.H.I.E.L.D., I don't think Thor's current location has anything to do with S.H.I.E.L.D. I think Thor has already submitted his resignation letter to Trisolaris."

What kind of resignation letter could Thor write? An out-of-world prince, writing what humans on this little planet define as a resignation? Absolutely impossible, okay?
