Looking at the head still in the center of her house, Diana stretched out her finger, and silver-white lightning leaped from her fingertip, turning the blood-stained handmade carpet into specks of ash.

The only thing that can prove what happened last night is the hole in the ceiling where sunlight streams in.

Shaking her head, Diana could only call the construction team that had helped build the house.

“Mr. Toms, do you have time?” Diana said into the phone. After receiving an affirmative reply, she added, “Then please come to my house. Something broke through my roof yesterday.”

"Oh, thank you for your concern. I'm fine. Please get it done as soon as possible. I'll give you an express fee. I'll leave the key at the door."

After resolving the repairs to her house, Diana picked up her handbag and headed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art to begin her work for the day.

She's not Batman; she still needs to work.

After hanging up the phone, Adrian Tooms began to gather his companions.

Toms clapped his hands to quiet his companions: "Alright everyone, we have work to do today. Miss Diana from last time needs us to repair her house this time, and we'll give you an express fee."

"Wow! Is that the hot girl from last time?"

"If I can sleep with you while I work for her, I'll work for free!"

“Shut up, Mason. I’d give my life for her if she were to sleep with me.”

...

As the words below became increasingly offensive, Toms could only shout, "Hey! Hey! Hey!"

Seeing them stop discussing, Toms covered his head and said, "Oh, please. You can talk now, but I don't think someone who can get land in Brooklyn to build houses can't send a few people to the NYPD jail."

The people below chuckled.

“We know, boss. Nobody dares to say it in front of her,” the man previously called Mason said to Toms. “We can only vent our frustrations here. That woman doesn’t look like someone you can just pick up easily, not even Tony Stark.”

“Speaking of that playboy, it seems he’s disappeared in Afghanistan,” someone said loudly.

Mason then handed a newspaper to Toms.

"This is big news!" Toms exclaimed, looking at the confident man in the newspaper.

Meanwhile, Diana, who was at the museum, was on her way to work when she discovered this iconic event in the most prominent newspapers displayed at various newsstands.

"Good morning, Miss Prince." As Diana approached, a security guard also took off his hat and greeted her.

"Good morning," Diana replied with a smile.

Seeing Diana's smile, the security guard felt full of energy, and it was worth coming to work an hour early.

With so many old men and serious ladies working at this museum, it's truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to find such a charming beauty in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

As Diana entered the studio, many people noticed the rather conspicuous newspaper in her hand.

A female colleague joked, "I never thought Diana would be interested in that Tony Stark."

As soon as he said this, he was met with angry glares from his male colleagues.

Nobody wants their goddess to have anything to do with a guy who slept with the cover girl of issue 12 of Maxim's magazine.

The problem is that guy is just too rich, and nobody can be sure if there's something going on between the two of them.

The male colleagues, who had just been glaring angrily at that woman, now looked on with concern for their goddess.

“No one can ignore today’s front page headline.” Diana smiled. “There’s no way around it, all the newspapers are about him, it’s impossible not to pay attention.”

"Moreover, I believe this will be the beginning of a completely new world."

No one could understand what Diana meant at that moment; only she herself knew, not to mention the bald man currently in Kamar-Taj.

As for the people working at the museum, they didn't really have any feelings for Tony Stark. If it weren't for the fact that this man would sometimes spend a fortune to buy artifacts, they really wouldn't have much interaction with him.

Diana's words were interpreted by everyone as an indication that no one was bothered by Tony Stark's troublesome personality anymore.

And between that guy who's now working as a blacksmith somewhere in Afghanistan and the beautiful woman working diligently right in front of you, no one would think the guy with the bad temper is more important.

Except for certain people.

"Sorry, your call cannot be connected."

Listening to the voice on the receiver, Nick Fury really couldn't control himself.

“Sir, Miss Prince has blocked all of our contact information.” Coulson, seeing that he also couldn’t reach Diana, could only bite the bullet and say to Nick Fury.

Since the news broke this morning that "Playboy Tony Stark has gone missing," Nick Fury has been trying to contact Diana, the only person he knows who can bring Tony Stark back safe and sound.

You reap what you sow.

Everything has a reason.

“Let’s go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.” Nick Fury completely disregarded the extent of the argument between the two of them yesterday. In his view, it didn’t matter at all, as long as he could continue to use Diana, then it was appropriate.

I believe Diana would have agreed to help an ordinary person.

Everything is for the safety of humanity.

Nick Fury's single eye gleams with a light that can only be described as unwavering.

Coulson, seeing his boss's confident demeanor, truly couldn't say anything to stop him. The severed head that had been thrown at his feet yesterday was still nagging at his nerves.

"Sir, I'm withdrawing from this mission to find Miss Pulis." This was the only thing Coulson could do.

Nick Fury glanced at Coulson and nodded. After all, Coulson and Diana still had some affection for each other, and perhaps they would need that affection in the future.

Nick Fury walked away, tossing his trench coat behind him.

Coulson could only shake his head and go to Stark Industries to see if he could get any useful information.

He was not optimistic about Nick Fury's actions at all, and even felt that it would only escalate the conflict between the two sides.

Her boss always wanted to turn Diana into a tool in his own hands...

Back in Afghanistan, Tony's eyes were filled with determination, encouraged by Ethan, reflecting his confidence in his ability to escape alive.

At this moment, the curtain begins to rise...

Chapter 13 Journey to Norway

At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Diana was busy with her colleagues tidying up a large sculpture that they had just acquired.

"Oh, be careful." Diana quickly called out to her colleague when she noticed he was getting distracted.

After all, such large sculptures are rare these days, and even the slightest problem could greatly diminish the value of this artwork.

"Sorry, Diana," the male colleague said, scratching his head somewhat embarrassed.

Diana simply smiled at him, hoping that he wouldn't encounter any more problems like this in his future work.

Just as the two were about to continue their work, someone came in and spoke to Diana.

"Diana, the curator wants to see you."

“Okay, I’ll go right away.” Diana took off her gloves and the coat she was using to cover the dust. “You have to do a good job. If something goes wrong with this sculpture, you’ll be stuck here until your grandson is born, for free.”

Upon hearing Diana's words, the male colleague could only scratch his head sheepishly, indicating that he understood.

Diana didn't say anything more and walked towards the curator's office.

Inside the curator's office, a one-eyed old man is having a pleasant conversation with the curator, Thomas Campbell.

“Mr. Borson, I have already had Miss Prince informed.” Thomas looked at the sprightly old man before him, whose right eye was covered by a slightly antique animal hide. “We have many excellent experts in artifact appraisal, and I can introduce you to each one.”

"They're no good." The one-eyed old man, known as Mr. Borson, simply and calmly refuted the so-called experts Thomas had mentioned.

“But Miss Prince has only worked here for about three years,” Thomas finally said.

At the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Diana was merely an unknown clerk who had just started her career; aside from her stunning beauty and solid foundation, she had nothing else particularly remarkable about her.

"Why does it have to be Miss Prince this time?" Thomas asked, leaning back in his chair, somewhat puzzled.

Mr. Borsen merely used his remaining blue eyes to reveal a sense of oppression completely different from his role as an advisor to the Norwegian Museum of Cultural History.

Stared at by that piercing gaze, Thomas loosened his tie very awkwardly, feeling as if he couldn't breathe.

“Alright, since Mr. Borson is unwilling to say, I won’t force him.” Thomas felt that suffocating feeling strangely disappear after he finished speaking.

"Knock knock"

Just then, someone knocked on the solid wood door that bore the marks of history.

"Come in," Thomas said hastily. He just wanted Diana to arrive; he really didn't want to face this somewhat strange old woman alone.

"I heard you were looking for me, curator?" As Thomas expected, it was Diana who walked in.

When he saw Diana come in, Thomas seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, and the slight embarrassment he had felt earlier vanished.

"And who is this?" Diana noticed the one-eyed old man sitting there, looking her over. His face, which should have been full of majesty, had a strange kindness about it.

Diana wasn't sure, but the feeling was one of kindness.

Before Thomas could introduce them, the one-eyed old man, Mr. Borson, had already stood up and extended his hand to Diana: "Odin Borson, nice to meet you, Miss Prince."

“Hello, it’s a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Borson.” Diana shook the old man’s large hand.

The moment Diana grasped the old man's hand, she felt a familiar yet different kind of power. The source of that power was the kind-looking old man before her.

"You?" Diana looked at the old man in surprise.

Odin smiled.

This also confirmed Diana's suspicion that the Odin Borson before her was indeed the King of the Gods who sat upon the throne of Asgard.

“An old friend told me you’re a wonderful young man. I just had some things to do before and couldn’t come to see you, but now I have the chance. And I’d also like to help this old man out of a small problem.” Odin released his grip, looking at the young Greek god before him with a smile.

However, this young Greek god was already stronger than most of the Greek gods who were now living a life of idleness in distant lands. But the one in front of him was just a child, and her potential had not yet been fully realized.

Upon hearing Odin mention an old friend, Diana understood who it was that could entice the Allfather, the guardian of the Nine Realms, to make a special trip to Earth.

The Ancient One, that bald woman.

"It is certainly my honor to be able to help you." Diana still held the old man in high esteem. Although he was a notorious bloodthirsty monarch in the universe when he was young, it must be said that his Asgard helped Earth ward off many threats.

"But won't I mess this up?" What Odin, a big shot, called a minor trouble is no minor trouble for Diana now.

“Yes, Mr. Borson, we have many experts who are better than Miss Prince. Are you really not going to consider it?” Thomas chimed in at the opportune moment. After all, Diana was not from his faction; she was a remnant employee of the previous curator.

"Don't worry, it'll be fine for you." Odin patted Diana on the shoulder. "You're a little taller than me."

Diana watched the old man marveling at her height, feeling both amused and exasperated.
