"Since you already know, then I won't pretend anymore. To be honest, putting on that act is quite tiring for me. Just ask me whatever you want to know."

“I recently received intelligence that the owner of Mond Dawn Winery, a man named Cripps Legenfender, seems to have discovered something about it.”

Pantalone paused slightly after looking at the slice of the young man in front of him, then said.

"Before I arrived in Mondstadt, the 'I' in Winterfall mentioned to you that you seemed to have obtained some unexpected results through your research on the remnants of the Daedric Kings after mastering the 'imaginary energy'."

"Regarding this matter, I want to know what the connection is between the research you mentioned to me about using 'imaginary internal energy' on that demonic dragon and the remnants of the demon god, and what that man named Kripps discovered?"

"Oh? You mean that?"

After hearing Pantalone's question, the young "Doctor" sat in his chair, tapped his ear with his finger, pondered for a moment, and then spoke.

"That thing isn't anything serious. You should know about the origin of the Dark Beast, which stems from the story of the alchemist named 'Gold' who fell into sin five hundred years ago in the ancient kingdom of Kanria, right?"

"Among the creations of these dark magical beasts is a dragon-like creature called the 'Hydrogenous Layer,' also known as the poisonous dragon Dulin."

"Now that I have mastered such a useful power as 'imaginary energy,' I certainly can't waste it. So I plan to capture that evil dragon outside Mondstadt and try to use the remnants of the Daedric Prince to create a monster similar to Durin."

Pantalone was stunned when he heard this. Should he say that he truly deserved to be called "Doctor"?

These are the kinds of things that you do immediately; you'll never let an opportunity slip by.

He hadn't been watching for a while, and they'd already started planning to create a replica of a monster similar to Dulin just for fun.

He even suspected that if he left "Doctor" to build things on his own, who knows when he might create a "Kanria Dark Monster Incident 2.0" for him.

This made him think, what if he waited until the day "Doctor" was no longer useful, and then got rid of him before he could give him the big job?

However, considering that "Doctor" is still very useful at the moment, and that it was just a random idea in his head, he only temporarily remembered the idea in his mind.

It's definitely not because he estimated that the gap in strength between himself and "The Doctor" was too large, plus "The Doctor" himself had many fragments, so he gave up the idea because he couldn't beat him.

After thinking for a moment, Pantalone pulled himself out of his thoughts and then picked up on the topic the "Doctor" was currently discussing.

"So what was the result?"

"The result was naturally somewhat different from what I had expected. The masterpiece of the 'humus layer' created by the sage known as 'Gold' cannot be replicated with such rudimentary conditions."

The "Doctor" shrugged and replied as follows.

"Of course, the final result cannot be called a complete failure. Based on the materials used when creating the 'Fusion Warrior', I gained some inspiration."

"Although I didn't manage to create a masterpiece comparable to the 'humus layer,' or even a clumsy imitation, I still obtained some unexpected research results, which can be considered a pleasant surprise."

"Oh?"

Pantalone's face showed a hint of interest, and he asked curiously for further details.

The "doctor" wasn't one to keep people in suspense, so he directly and frankly revealed the results of his research after the experiment failed.

"After I tried to use the power of the demon god's remnants to demonize that evil dragon, through the infection of 'imaginary energy,' the evil dragon produced some incredible reactions, and this is the result."

"The blood of that evil dragon was filled with corrosive power and toxicity. To describe it more accurately, this failed experiment seemed to have become a source of infection."

"This means that creatures infected with the venomous blood of this evil dragon will gain immense power from the 'imaginary energy' and the power of the demon god, but they will also be corrupted by the dragon's blood and fall into madness, becoming mindless monsters."

"These monsters are fearless and possess great strength. I will tentatively call these humans infected with dragon blood 'death warriors'. These so-called 'death warriors' are the result of my experiments on human subjects."

"Of course, while the dragon named Usa didn't become a masterpiece comparable to the 'Hydrogen Layer,' it underwent some unexpected changes due to the influence of the remnants of the demon god and the power of 'imaginary energy,' which is an unexpectedly gratifying thing."

"That demonic dragon became a ghost that lingered between dreams and reality, and to some extent possessed the power to interfere with dreams and reality."

"All of this inspired me in a way. I don't need to imitate or create works like 'humus layer,' as that's not my style or approach."

After saying this, the "Doctor" couldn't help but show an expression of excitement and fanaticism on his face, his frenzied demeanor almost overflowing.

This caused his face, half-covered by the mask, to transform into an incredibly crazed and ferocious expression as he laughed wildly.

"I want to create things that transcend the 'humus layer' rather than things that are merely comparable to it!"

"In fact, I already have a direction. For me, it's just a matter of time before I can do what I'm about to do. As my friend, you should understand what I mean, right?"

"After all, my goal is to create a true 'god,' and the mere 'humus layer' is far from worthy of my abilities. What I want to do is create something far beyond that!"

The madness and mania revealed by the "doctor" before her were beyond words, far exceeding the level of the "doctor" Pantalone knew, and even far more insane than that "doctor".

The difference is like that between a reserved genius and an undisguised youthful arrogance.

Or perhaps, this difference in personality is essentially a manifestation of the different age groups of "doctors"?

Pantalone felt that this description was probably the most accurate summary. After listening to the "Doctor's" description, Pantalone had a preliminary understanding of the new experimental results obtained by the "Doctor" after failing to create a dragon-like creature similar to Dulin.

Simply put, they didn't create a knock-off of Durin, but instead made a blood-drawing bottle and created some hybrids to play with.

This led Pantalone to reasonably suspect that he didn't actually want to create a "god," but rather planned to secretly create a dragon king for him at some point without his knowledge.

Sure enough, this guy is the kind who goes crazy at the drop of a hat.

If all else fails, try to find an opportunity to kill him.

However, after hearing all of this, he still didn't know how what the "Doctor" said was related to what Kripps had discovered.

After pondering for a moment, he looked at the "Doctor" in front of him and slowly asked.

“I think I understand what you’re saying, but what does this have to do with what that man named Kripps found?”

"Hehe, of course that's related."
