"I am the black that devours everything, I am the white that nurtures everything;"

"Born before creation, existing after annihilation;"

"Divine Key - Black Abyss White Flower, First Rated Power - Holy Lance Blooms!"

The spear flew from his hand and instantly transformed into a holy light spear that reached the heavens and the earth, thrusting straight towards Jormungandr.

"Roar--!!"

Jormungandr roared like a dragon, opening its enormous mouth, which resembled a black hole, and swallowed the Holy Light Spear whole.

The giant python, its scarlet forked tongue flicking in and out, had a rather human-like disdain in its eyes as it circled the courtyard, as if to say: Is that all?

It swam slowly toward Anan, its body as massive as a mountain range, but when it was less than 500 meters away, its body suddenly froze.

*Pfft!*

Large swaths of flesh were torn apart, and beams of holy white light emanated from its body. Jormungandr writhed in agony, its massive tail smashing the surrounding mountains to pieces. The earth shook violently, the commotion no less than that of a magnitude 10 earthquake.

“Sometimes I really don’t understand why a monster like you always likes to solve battles by eating. Don’t you know that some things shouldn’t be eaten so easily?” Anan shook his head helplessly and snapped his fingers. “Explode.”

Rumble rumble rumble—!!!

Jormungandr's belly suddenly swelled up, and then, accompanied by a series of earth-shattering sounds, his massive body exploded instantly!

Anan raised a magical shield, blocking all the oncoming rain of blood and bits of flesh.

About ten minutes later, all the noise gradually stopped.

"Ugh, this smell is awful..."

The ground within a radius of a kilometer was almost entirely covered with the remains of flesh and blood from the explosion of Jormungandr. The thick, pungent smell of blood constantly filled the nostrils, making people feel extremely nauseous.

"Never mind, let's hurry up and go help."

After glancing at Jormungandr's remaining remains, Anan shook his head and vanished from the spot in an instant.

......

......

Clang clang clang—!

Under the gloomy sky, the scarlet spear and the heavy hammer collided with a thunderous roar, shooting out dazzling sparks.

The one holding the spear was a purple-haired woman wearing a purple bodysuit, whose deep eyes gleamed with wisdom. The one wielding the giant hammer was a burly man with a bare upper body, a full golden beard, and silver lightning dancing in his leopard-like eyes.

"Haha! That's awesome! That's awesome! I never thought that a mere human could possess such power. It's so exhilarating!" The burly man laughed loudly, and with each swing of his divine hammer, a dazzling bolt of lightning would descend from the sky.

With a flick of her finger, the purple-haired woman unleashed a deep green rune, releasing a mysterious and ancient power that instantly rewrote the concept of [space]. All the lightning bolts that had been hurtling towards her surged toward the burly man.

The burly man swung his divine hammer, smashing away the lightning, and curled his lip: "Tsk, it's the primordial rune again. The old guy used to like using this thing to trick me. It's so annoying."

"Hey Thor, are you even capable? You always claim to be the strongest warrior of the Aesir, how come you can't even win over a woman?"

On a hilltop not far away, a man dressed in a black robe chuckled. His eyes were fiery red, and his appearance was so handsome that it seemed to possess a kind of sinister charm that made it impossible to look away.

Boom!

A bolt of lightning struck from the sky, and the mountain where the handsome man was located exploded with a deafening roar.

"Oh dear, your temper is still as volatile as ever." The handsome man appeared on another hilltop at some point, smiling. "I thought you'd be a little more restrained after all this time."

"Shut up, Loki." Thor glared coldly at the evil god who had betrayed the Aesir. "I only agreed to cooperate with that guy temporarily to revive the Aesir, but if you piss me off, I'll kill you first!"

"What you're saying really hurts me. I was already planning to turn over a new leaf and be a good god," Loki said, feeling wronged.

Thor sneered. If he ever believed a word this guy said again, he'd change his name!

Chapter Forty-Eight: Invincible! Scáthach!

This is the greatest crisis the Queen of the Dead has ever faced.

Thor, the god of thunder; Frey, the god of the sun; Loki, the god of fire; Tyr, the god of war; and Freya, the goddess of love.

Nearly half of the twelve main gods of the Norse pantheon are gathered here.

Although environmental limitations have prevented these gods from displaying their former world-destroying power, they are still gods in the end.

Their very existence is a natural disaster.

Scáthach could only be thankful that she had recently strengthened the seal on the Death Realm in every way; otherwise, if the gods buried there were to rebel, her situation would be in dire straits.

The magic mirror's wisdom had revealed the whole story to her, and she had come to understand everything.

That is precisely why she absolutely cannot back down.

"That woman's marksmanship is amazing!" Freya covered her mouth, her big eyes filled with surprise.

She is the goddess who governs fertility, desire, and love, and the most beautiful goddess of the Vanir and Aesir gods. Her appearance is dreamlike, and her form-fitting armor perfectly outlines her exquisite and graceful figure. Although she appears to be fully covered, there are gaps in her chest, shoulders, thighs, and lower abdomen, revealing patches of snow-white skin like beautiful jade, exuding a hazy and enchanting beauty.

She wasn't a god skilled in combat, but even so, she could tell that the purple-haired woman's marksmanship had reached an extraordinary level.

“That’s a spear technique powerful enough to kill a god.” Freya’s brother, Frey, the leader of the elven kingdom of Alfheim, crossed his arms, his handsome, chiseled face shining like the sun. “I think Thor might not be his match.”

"Thor will be defeated within thirty moves," said Tyr, the one-armed war god wielding his sword, calmly.

As if to prove his words, a dozen breaths later, Scáthach slammed her spear into Thor's chest, sending him flying backward and smashing a hill to pieces.

"Ah~ I suddenly feel a strange sense of comfort," Loki exclaimed.

He turned to Scáthach: "But what's the point of you blocking us like this? After the Age of Gods is revived, you can leave here and move around freely outside. Isn't that better?"

“I am the master of the Dead Realm. It is my mission to isolate this place and guard the boundary between life and death,” Scáthach said coldly. “Besides, I am also human.”

"Alright then, it seems we can't reach an agreement." Loki shrugged, then turned to Tyr, Frey, and Freya beside him. "Hey, you guys aren't planning on just standing there watching, are you?"

The three main gods remained silent for a moment, then simultaneously took a step forward.

"Wait!" The pile of boulders exploded with a roar, and Thor's figure emerged from it, his bare upper body bearing a striking gunshot wound. "I said, this is a battle I'm fighting alone, and none of you are allowed to interfere!"

“Although I would love to see you continue to be tortured, I’m sorry, we don’t have time.” Loki stood up and clapped his hands. “Just now, my child’s life force was extinguished.”

“You mean Jormungandr?” Frey frowned slightly.

“That’s right.” Loki smiled, showing no sign of sadness. “If I’m not mistaken, the one who’s coming is probably King Arthur, the one that guy mentioned who inherited Nidhogg’s power. If this drags on any longer, things might get complicated.”

"Huh? What does that have to do with me? It's even better if that guy comes. One against two, I'll have even more fun!" Thor said arrogantly.

"Sigh, why does my partner have to be such a muscle-brained person?" Loki rubbed his temples in exasperation.

"Now is not the time for recklessness, Thor," Tyr, the God of War, said calmly. "Don't forget our purpose."

Thor clenched his fists tightly, and after a long while, he finally sighed helplessly: "Okay, I understand."

The five main gods, having reached an agreement, each moved forward and surrounded Scáthach.

"Please forgive me, Queen of the Dead, you are a worthy opponent, but for our long-cherished wish, we have no choice but to embark on this sordid path." The sun god Frey's face showed a hint of helplessness, but he still slowly drew his sword.

"The age of the gods has ended. No matter how hard you try, you will eventually be swept away by the tide of history," Scáthach said calmly.

"Whether we succeed or not, we'll only know by trying, won't we?" The God of War, Tyr, raised his divine sword with his one arm, pointing it at Scáthach. "Even if there's only a one in ten thousand chance, we won't give up."

Scáthach glanced at him and said coldly, "It seems you don't quite understand how foolish you are doing."

"Then I'll show you how this one in ten thousand hope is shattered."

Rumbling--

The entire Land of Shadows suddenly trembled. The originally dark and gloomy sky was instantly covered with a dazzling purple light. A huge vortex appeared, and ancient and magnificent castles emerged from the vortex, gradually surrounding all five main gods.

Om-! !

The castle trembled slightly, and an ancient and vast power spread out. The five main gods immediately felt the power within their bodies flowing out like a flood with its dam broken, and they could not stop it no matter what methods they used.

"We can't stay in here, we have to get out!"

The God of War, Tyr, drew his divine sword and unleashed a sword aura powerful enough to cleave mountains and seas, yet it only left a tiny crack on the outer wall of the castle.

Then a glimmer of light flashed, and the crack immediately returned to its original state.

Thor, Loki, and Frey, the three gods, with solemn expressions, realized the dire situation and unleashed their power without reservation. In an instant, thunder roared, fire surged, and light shone brilliantly, as if chaos had reappeared.

A full half hour later, the three main gods finally stopped, panting heavily. They looked up and saw the remnants of their divine power gradually fading away. What appeared before them were still those perfectly intact upside-down castles.

"How could this happen..." Freya, the goddess of love, paled, her eyes filled with undisguised panic.

He suppressed the five main gods with his own strength.

This is absolutely unheard of!

"Your biggest mistake was choosing to fight me here."

Scáthach watched them coldly, crimson magic swirling around Gayaburg like a raging fire.

"I am Scáthach, Queen of the Land of Shadows, ruler of the desolate world, and sovereign of the Dead Realm, therefore—"

"As long as I am here, I am invincible!"

Chapter Forty-Nine: The God of Traitors

Beneath a sky shrouded in a hazy purple light, ancient and elegant castles emerged upside down from the vortex, enveloping the entire area within a kilometer radius and exuding a mysterious and vast aura.

Tyr, the god of war; Thor, the god of thunder; Loki, the god of fire; Frey, the god of the sun; and Freya, the goddess of love—these five renowned gods in Norse mythology—are now in a sorry state. Their armor is tattered, their bodies are covered in messy wounds, and blood is constantly flowing down their faces.

"Damn, this woman is way too strong." Thor wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. "I feel like even an old guy in his prime wouldn't be a match for her."

“You can actually remove the ‘certainly’,” Loki grinned. “If Odin really came here, he would have absolutely no chance of defeating this Queen of the Dead without breaking this domain.”

"Damn it, if I still had my Thor's authority, I would never be in such a sorry state."

Thor looked annoyed, glanced at Loki whose clothes were still relatively intact, then looked down at his own chest, which looked like it had been torn to pieces, and asked in confusion, "Strange, why do you have so many fewer wounds than me?"

"That's because I always hide behind you whenever that queen attacks me," Loki shrugged. "You always charge in without a second thought, so why not use such a good shield?"

Thor was furious, his face flushed red, his eyes blazing with rage, and wisps of white smoke rising from his head. He immediately summoned a bolt of lightning and struck Loki, shouting, "I'll kill you, you son of a bitch, first!"

Loki skillfully dodged the lightning and said, "Brave warrior, please calm down. I have already thought of a way to break this deadlock."

Thor, who was about to continue summoning lightning, immediately stopped what he was doing and looked at him suspiciously: "Are you serious?"

“Of course.” Loki smiled sincerely. “However, I need to make some preparations beforehand. I’ll have to trouble you to keep that queen occupied and prevent her from bothering me.”

Thor's eyes flickered, and a hint of hesitation appeared on his face.
