Ark Undead

The white-haired deep-sea hunter nodded slightly, sat down on the chair next to him, and waited for the Undead to make arrangements.
The immortal stood at the doorway and asked.
"who is it?"
"Employee of Kalan Trading, are you Mr. Undying?"
The immortal man stood behind the wooden door, thought for two seconds, and then answered.
"Yes, is there something you need?"
"Our owner of the Kalan Trading Company, who is also the head of the Shivaesh family, Lord SilverAsh, heard that you have arrived in the Snowlands. He specifically asked me to inquire whether you have settled into the environment of the Snowlands and to extend an invitation to you to visit the Shivaesh family."
The voice outside belonged to a man, who spoke in a tone that was neither humble nor arrogant, expressing his respect while subtly showcasing the reputation of the Shivaesh family.
"Although it is rather abrupt to visit you so early in the morning, with the Saintess election approaching, I believe that Mr. Undead does not want to be exposed too much to the Three Races Council. Inviting you early means there will be fewer eyes on the street."
The man seemed to know what the Undead group was there for, and specifically pointed out the Undead's concerns.
This made the Undead turn around and look at Skadi.
Skadi shook her head in confusion, followed by a furrowed brow of worry.
Nobody knows about this except Old Benny and the other two!
As for Kroos, that's even more impossible. That guy can't even speak clearly, and didn't she just arrive in the Snow Realm?
Hearing that the immortal inside had stopped speaking, the man outside respectfully spoke again.
"Please consider it quickly. I will wait for you at the end of the corridor until then."
He seemed certain that the undead would come out and walk with him, and even gave the undead time to communicate with their companions.
The Undead came to Skadi's side without hesitation. He hadn't spoken earlier only because he had some things to tell Skadi.
"Although I don't know why he knows."
The Undead picked up his greatsword from the side and hung it on his back, saying to Skadi.
"Your schedule remains unchanged. Wait for old Benny to get up, and then listen to him."
"You're going with him?"
Skadi didn't look too good either.
After all, they had just arrived in the snowy region and hadn't even gone out for a stroll yet. In just a short while last night, their identities were recognized.
If Old Benny had stayed obediently in his room all night, then it really is true that this family head named SilverAsh is incredibly powerful.
Faced with this situation, Skadi had to admit that she really had to follow the crowd and at least figure out what had happened.
“That’s right. We have no other choice but to go with them. And the man is inviting you over now, not arresting us immediately, so he probably doesn’t want to fight us.”
Skadi calmly analyzed the current situation.
But at this point, Skadi paused, realizing a crucial question had come to mind.
Why did he only invite you?
"do not know."
The Undead shook his head, he said.
"But I should know."
He came to the door and gave Skadi one last piece of advice before leaving.
"Don't forget to take good care of Kroos."
After saying this, the Undead pushed open the door and left, leaving Skadi and Kroos in the room.
After stepping out of the room, the immortal looked towards the end of the corridor.
There stood a male of the Fengti tribe, whose tall stature was no less impressive than that of the undead, and whose solid muscles indicated his considerable strength.
Seeing the undead emerge from the room and walk straight toward him, the Plumphoof man bowed slightly to the undead.
"I'm glad you accepted the master's invitation, Mr. Undead. Let me introduce myself. I am SilverAsh's bodyguard, and my name is Horn."
"Horn peak".
"The immortal asked."
"Your master only invited me?"
"Yes, Mr. Undead."
Horn Peak nodded and extended his right hand, gesturing downstairs.
"I think it would be better for the master to answer your question himself rather than me. Don't worry, now that you've accepted the invitation, you are a distinguished guest of the Shivaish family. Please get into the carriage."
The Undead stared at Horn Peak for a while.
He could feel the gaze of the undead. And this simplest of gazes, emanating from inside the helmet, caused his body to react instinctively.
Horn Peak subconsciously tensed his muscles, even revealing the hard edges of his neck.
This is not simple oppression; it is an observation of life, much like a hunter sizing up his prey before a hunt.
He then realized that the immortal man invited by the master might be even more dangerous than he had imagined.
"Ah."
After a long while, the Undead nodded and walked downstairs.
The tension in Horn Peak eased, and he took a deep breath, quickly catching up with the figure in front of him.
The greatsword on his back was different from the weapon he had used before. But his danger level had not diminished in the slightest, and even Horn was not confident that he could block his attack.
Fortunately, the other party was someone who could negotiate. Otherwise, Horn Peak would probably have had to draw his weapon to seek solace.
Before the Undead could get to the carriage at the inn's entrance, they unfolded a small staircase for the Undead to board.
This is a luxurious yet understated carriage, seemingly made with a great deal of modern materials. However, its decorations closely adhere to the traditional style of Kjerag, and the precious metals and gemstones used as embellishments do not make the carriage look gaudy at all; on the contrary, they enhance the luxurious visual effect.
The cold wind from outside dispelled Horn Peak's tension, and he regained his composure, bowing respectfully to signal the Undead to board the vehicle.
"please."
The Undead, served by Horn Peak, boarded the carriage and placed the greatsword beside the seat.
Horn Peak also got in, and then signaled to the servant driving the carriage that it was time to start.
Following the tracks left when they came in around the corner, the carriage drove out of the inn.
Skadi stood by the window, watching the Undead board the carriage, and she also noticed the Horned Peak's respectful demeanor.
At least Horn didn't look down on the Undead. But why he was so respectful to the Undead remains a mystery.
Could it be that the head of the Shiva'ish family knows the identity of the Undead?
How did he know the Undead were in the Snow Realm after only one night?!
Skadi couldn't understand why this had happened.
We can only ask old Benny to see what he knows.
The vehicle proceeded along the snowy road without avoiding the sights set up by the Three Races Council.
Upon seeing the carriage, the guards who had been keeping watch at the street corner straightened up, and raised their weapons as the carriage passed by to show their respect.
The Undead looked out the window of the carriage and saw what was happening outside. He also became curious about the head of the Shiva Ash family, who was known as SilverAsh.
“I know Mr. Undying still has some doubts. But please allow me to explain to you first, the master is not targeting you or your friends, he is just interested in you.”
Cliffheart then thought of SilverAsh's instructions to him before he left.
The old man's serious expression made Cliffheart also curious about the strange man in front of him who was always shrouded in armor.
Then, Horn Peak added another sentence.
"I'd like to be your friend."
"Make friends?"
The voice of the undead came from inside the helmet, cold, dry, and with a heavy, muffled sound.
"Surveillance, is it a way of making friends?"
If Horn Peak could come over to invite the Undead so early in the morning, it would be absolutely impossible for that patriarch not to be monitoring the Undead.
But the Undead didn't sense anything particularly unusual in his gaze. From the moment he entered Sherag, he had always kept a low profile.
Apart from taking care of two clueless bounty hunters in Darkspring, I haven't run into any other trouble.
"Ah, you've misunderstood."
Horn Peak paused for a moment, then smiled and shook his head.
"We are not spying on you, we just have more channels to obtain information."
The Undead clearly did not believe Horn Peak's words, and he did not speak again.
Some questions are better asked directly to the head of the family.
However, Horn's attitude towards him did not make the Undead uncomfortable, and in this respect, the Undead complained a little less.
As the vehicle gradually slowed down, the Undead looked out the window and finally saw the purpose of his trip.
It was a huge manor, at least several times larger than the Lin Guang family's manor.
The fence itself has a very modern protective style. However, in terms of design, it retains the traditional carved patterns of Shelag.
The iron gate was pulled open, and the carriage proceeded along the road leading from the gate.
Just as they turned the corner, the Undead had already spotted the person standing at the gate.
The vehicle stopped at the main entrance of the building, and Jiao Feng lifted the curtain.
"please."
The Undead, carrying his greatsword, stepped out of the carriage.
This time, he saw the man clearly.
Gray felt is wrapped around the top of the cloak, enveloping the wearer's neck in warm fur.
A black leather overcoat covered his muscular body, while his perfectly pressed black trousers and pure black boots added a touch of menacing aura to his appearance.
