Ark Undead

The two men, along with members of the Glasgow gang, stormed into a nearby alley.
Some of the infected immediately followed and went into the alley with Vina and the others.
But most of the infected ignored the Glasgow gang and rushed out of the lower town towards the upper town.
Vina naturally noticed this phenomenon. She was slightly surprised and doubtful, but she was thinking about other things.
Could the target of these infected individuals be...?
Thinking of the exposed Originium crystals on the infected, Vina became even more certain of her guess.
The infected people's target was never them, but the noble lords of the upper city!
Moreover, very close to the upper town area, which is near this part of the lower town, there is a residential area for noblemen.
If these infected individuals manage to break through the defenses during tonight's riot and infect all the noble lords...
Vina suddenly thought of someone.
Mr. Wandering Soul's elementary school student, isn't she a noble lady?!
"Something bad is about to happen!"
Vina grabbed Hannah, who was standing next to her.
"Hannah, take some men and go find Mr. Ghost immediately. Tell him Melantha is in danger!"
"what?!"
Before Hannah could react, she saw Vina turn her head and change direction, which turned into a straight road leading to the Undead House.
"Hurry! Something terrible will happen if we're too late!"
Hannah remembered that she had promised the Undead to take care of Melantha. If Melantha were to be harmed in this sudden attack tonight, Vina would feel too embarrassed to ask the Undead for help again.
"Okay, okay! I understand!"
Hannah saw the infected people's route and realized what was going to happen.
She turned around, randomly called over two members of the Glasgow Gang, and they ran with her toward the house of the undead.
Vina, meanwhile, led the infected following the Glasgow Gang on a detour, heading deeper into the lower city and away from the intersection of the upper city.
While listening to the roars of the infected behind her, Vina looked worriedly toward the upper city area.
The skyscrapers, their neon lights shimmering in the darkness, stand out prominently in the distant Upper East Side.
Vina murmured to herself, withdrew her gaze, and swiftly dashed out into the alley.
"I hope the security guards in the upper district aren't just sitting around doing nothing."
She was still a member of Victoria after all, even though Victoria had its fangs pointed at her.
On the other side, Hannah led two or three Glasgow gang members toward the street on the Undead side.
The house of the Undead is relatively close to the Upper Town, but it's located at the very end of a quiet alley.
Few people come here.
But today was exceptionally lively.
As Hannah entered the alley, she heard screams coming from the very back of the alley.
The alleyway was very clean, with only the house at the very end showing a flickering light, and two dark figures moving about at the house's doorway.
The man in black robes swung his katana, tearing an infected man's arm off his body, spraying out a large amount of blood.
He then took a step back, dodging the attack from the infected who was enraged by his injury, and sheathed the katana in his right hand.
Then he suddenly stepped forward and thrust out!
The rusty katana pierced deep into the infected man's nose and drilled a bloody hole in the back of his head.
laugh...
The black figure pulled the katana away from the head, then swung it to the right, shaking the blood and brain matter off the surface of the katana.
The infected person in front of him had lost all mobility when his head was pierced, and fell straight down in front of the Undead.
"Mr. Wandering Soul!"
Hannah rushed over while calling out the name of the Undead.
The Undead looked up, and Hannah felt his gaze. Instantly, goosebumps rose all over her body.
Those eyes, as they looked down from the soles of her feet to Hannah's face, sent a chill down her spine, reaching her knees, abdomen, heart, and neck.
He seemed to be thinking about how to kill the guy who was running towards him in one blow.
When the Undead saw Hannah's face, she no longer felt the chilling sensation of a scythe against her neck.
Hannah then took a clear look at the situation around the Undead.
Severed limbs and internal organs were scattered haphazardly around the undead. Some were pinned to the wall by their own weapons, while their lower bodies had been brutally torn apart by immense force.
Several intestines and internal organs hung below the exposed upper body, connected to the lower body lying on the ground.
The rust on the katana in the black-robed man's hand had been completely stained red.
Even after being shaken once, drops of blood were still flowing down.
Hannah couldn't help but swallow, and she heard the Glasgow Gang members behind her also swallow in unison.
Gudong.
The Undead, however, remained draped in black robes, blocking the flames emanating from the doorway, standing in the shadows where the moonlight could not reach.
He spoke, his voice resonating within the helmet and striking Hannah's eardrums.
"What happened? The enemy?"
13. The city gates fell.
"What is it? The enemy?"
The Undead cleaned the bloodstains from his rusty katana with his black robe, pointed to the corpses on the ground, and asked Hannah what had happened.
"Ah...yes! Something's happened!"
Hannah stood there stunned for a moment before she realized that the pressure from the undead was just too much.
“A huge number of infected people have suddenly appeared at the entrance to the lower city! They’re heading towards the upper city. Vina sent us to check on Mr. Wanderer to see if you’re safe.”
Hannah glanced at the corpses around her again and muttered to herself.
Even if you don't need help at all, Mr. Ghost.
"I'm fine. Gla, Scott, help... need help?"
"Ah, no need for that, we can hide properly."
Hannah shook her head. The Glasgow Gang wasn't the primary target of these infected people, and with Vina leading the way, there wouldn't be any problems.
The Undead sheathed his katana, turned around, and prepared to return to his house.
Whatever happens outside is none of his concern, as long as the Glasgow Gang is not in danger.
If he didn't need to intervene, the immortal man would have preferred to stay quietly in his house on this cold night.
The warmth of the campfire brings a sense of security.
Besides, the Undead is a bit sleepy right now, especially since he just finished fighting, and wants to take a nap by the campfire.
"But! Hannah told me to tell you that Melantha is in danger! It seems to be that little girl from the Upper Town... ouch!"
Before Hannah could finish speaking, the undead in front of her immediately turned around, its eyes peeking out from under its armor and staring straight at Hannah.
Part of Hannah's hair exploded, and before the goosebumps on her body had subsided, another wave of goosebumps immediately surged up.
"Melantha, is it dangerous?"
The Undead confirmed with Hannah word by word.
"Yes...Vina said that these infected people might be targeting the nobles in the Upper City. Isn't your little elementary school student from the Upper City? And he seems to live not far from here?"
Hannah spoke at breakneck speed, relaying everything she needed to convey, and then confirmed it with the Undead.
"Do you need our help?! Those infected should have already flooded into the upper city! We can't rely on the wandering souls alone... Hey! Wait! Wait for us!"
Before Hannah could finish speaking, the undead in front of her turned into a shadow and flashed past her, not even having time to hear what she was saying.
"Ah Hu, go and report to the boss that Mr. Wandering Soul has gone to rescue someone. The rest of you, follow me, we're going to help!"
Hannah reacted swiftly, deciding without hesitation to follow the Undead to help.
When Mr. Ghost helped the Glasgow Gang, he only accepted some simple firewood as payment.
Now that he's in trouble, how can the Glasgow Gang stand idly by?
The Glasgow gang member named Tiger nodded, took two or three steps to push off the wall, and with a push of his hands, flipped himself onto the roof.
Hannah rushed over and followed the Undead out of the alley.
Outside that alley, countless infected people rushed from the entrance of the lower town all the way to the upper town.
The Undead's speed remained undiminished, like a black stone. As it charged into the infected ranks, it created a wave of flesh.
Several infected were knocked away by the undead, their bodies colliding with their companions who were rushing towards the upper city.
This black pebble abruptly blocked the path of the infected army rushing down the street, creating an empty space.
"Where did this bastard come from?!"
"Let him die! Let him die!"
These infected people had lost their minds, and when they saw the Undead alone, they rushed over without thinking.
Then his limbs were torn apart by a rusty katana.
The dulled blade was not useless; it was an extension of the immortal's hands. After severing a thigh in half, it was wedged under the armpit and, with tremendous force, tore open another arm.
Blood splattered, soaking the black robes of the undead.
"Tough luck, charge!!"
"Die, all of you!"
