Ark Undead

It could be to allow the body to fully relax, or to soothe inner wounds.
The immortals received a special invitation.
It was W who invited the Undead to sit in a coffee shop and talk about Chernobog and the Reunion Movement.
Having just returned to Rhodes Island, the Undead hadn't even had time to replenish his firewood, so he simply went to the coffee shop fully armored.
At this time, the coffee shop was still closed for the holidays. Many operators were not on duty, but were given two days off with the tacit approval of Kal'tsit and the Doctor.
However, there are still ordinary people and infected people who work on Rhodes Island but are not combat-ready, serving customers who come to drink coffee.
"Over here, over here."
As soon as the Undead entered the coffee shop, he heard someone shouting from a corner.
He turned around and saw W dressed in clean and tidy clothes.
She didn't seem to be too affected by the battle, still wearing her signature smile and waving to the undead.
The Undead came to W, pulled out a stool, and sat down.
"It seems our great hero hasn't had a chance to go back to his room to change his clothes yet."
W smiled at the Undead and pushed the menu in front of him.
"What would you like to drink? It's on me."
"no need."
The Undead shook his head and handed the menu to W.
"I won't drink for now."
The coffee I drank when I talked to SilverAsh last time wasn't something he particularly liked. There weren't any drinks that particularly appealed to him.
Besides, he can't taste anything now, so there's no need for him to drink it.
W raised an eyebrow, pursed his lips, tilted his head, and then ordered a coffee with two servings of animal milk.
"Is there something you need?"
When W called him to the coffee shop, even the dead man was still a little confused about what had happened.
W looked at the undead, propped herself up, leaned back in the chair, and said.
"I'm leaving."
"Ah."
The Undead nodded and said.
"so?"
The smile on W's face gradually froze.
Wait a minute, something's not right with this plot.
Shouldn't the immortals be asking her why she's leaving?
"Well, Rhodes Island isn't really suitable for me, and there are some things I can't do as a member of Rhodes Island."
W sighed, thinking that the idea of trying to have some casual conversation with an undead was something only a naive fool would do.
This man is unlikely to be interested in casual chatting with you.
"I want to go back to Kazdel."
W said.
"I'm going to find Theresis."
Upon hearing the name Theresis, the Undead finally raised his head and looked directly at W.
This means that he has finally become interested.
"What, are you starting to get curious now? Ha, men."
W sneered, rolled her eyes, and continued.
“Ines won’t come with me; she’ll stay on Rhodes Island. It’s the safest place for her right now. In exchange, Ines will provide Rhodes Island with some shady services.”
"My affairs in Kazdel will be regularly reported by Ines to that old woman and that idiot doctor. You can look into it if you're interested."
"I will."
The immortal suddenly nodded very seriously.
W paused for a moment, then covered her mouth and laughed.
“If I didn’t know you wanted to know about Theresis, I would have thought you were concerned about me.”
The face inside the undead helmet was expressionless.
W always likes to say strange things in strange places, something that even the Undead only recently realized.
But this will not affect the Undead's attitude towards W.
"Theresa has a big problem, and I also have some old scores to settle with Theresa. I hope you can help me then, but I don't know if I can afford your commission."
As W spoke, he stood up.
"gone."
"gone?"
The immortal was somewhat bewildered.
"You're leaving already?"
"What else? Stay and have coffee and chat with someone I'm not interested in?"
W slumped over and gave the man a cold look.
"I still have a lot of things to do. There are still many Sarkaz mercenaries waiting for me on the Reunion side. Do you really think everyone lives like an old man every day like you?"
However, even though W said he was leaving, when he passed the undead, he still lowered his body, brought his face close to the undead, and stared at the undead behind the armor for a few seconds.
The Undead stared at W, somewhat bewildered, wondering what she was doing.
A moment later, W chuckled, straightened up, put his hands behind his back, and left the coffee shop with a cheerful expression.
The Undead touched her helmet, her thoughts a mystery.
Just after W left, the Undead also prepared to leave the coffee shop.
But at that moment, the waiter brought coffee to the Undead.
"Eh? Where's that lady?"
The immortal raised his head and spoke.
She's gone.
"this..."
The waiter looked out through the glass, somewhat bewildered, but found no trace of W.
The immortal said.
"let it go."
The immortal knocked on the table.
"I drink."
The waiter carefully placed the hot coffee on the table and then bowed slightly to the Undead.
"That lady already told us that all expenses will be charged to Dr. Kal'tsit's account. You don't need to pay at the front desk when you leave. Please feel free to do as you please."
The immortal nodded slightly, and the waiter quickened his pace and left.
When he heard that it would be put on Kal'tsit's tab, he even had the idea of ordering a few more small cakes to take to Melantha and Kroos.
But he dismissed the idea, after all, Kal'tsit still owed him the Humanity Potion, and it would be troublesome if she reneged on her debt.
The Undead initially intended to open the metal plate beneath his visor, but ultimately opted to remove his helmet instead.
His medium-length black hair was freely draped over his head, and wrinkles appeared on his face and neck.
At that moment, sunlight pierced through the clouds and fell through the glass roof of the Rhodes Island atrium, illuminating one side of the table in front of the Undead.
He reached out, through the curtain of sunlight, picked up his coffee, and drank it all in one gulp.
I didn't taste anything; it was just meaningless liquid going down my throat, and I didn't feel any temperature at all.
He put down the cup and turned to look out the glass.
After the battle, the Rhodes Island operators quickly returned to their daily lives.
Some people are buying things, while others are eating.
The Undead even spotted Hoshiguma and Nearl in the crowd.
A moment later, he put on his helmet and picked up the greatsword that was leaning against the table and hung it behind him.
I can finally go back and rest.
End-of-volume summary and preview of Volume 5
Before I knew it, I had been writing for more than half a year. After finishing the fourth volume, I breathed a huge sigh of relief.
From Volume 1 to Volume 4, I arranged many things that I had to write in order to make it necessary for the subsequent writing.
It includes Victoria in Volume 1, Casimir in Volume 2, Kalan in Volume 3, and the main storyline of the game in Volume 4.
It's like going through each volume one by one, gradually revealing a lot of things.
My original plan was to finish the fourth volume in about 100 million words, but I ended up writing so much more (filler).
So far, although there are still many plot holes to fill, the main storyline has been written quite quickly.
The game's main storyline is only about halfway through the book's narrative. Its primary purpose is to introduce the Doctor and establish Rhodes Island as a support system for the Undead's activities abroad. This includes resolving the Black Serpent conflict, introducing the conflict between Ursus and Kazdel, and preparing for the subsequent Lungmen Great Flame storyline.
Many guys say I was betrayed. And yes, I was indeed betrayed (I'm numb to it). But personally, I don't really care about whether I was betrayed or not.
My writing habit is that once I merge worldviews, I almost always have to drastically change the entire plot.
