Ark Undead

Now, following the trail left by Theresa, she has found the ship.

But like Greyhound and the Undead, she wasn't in a hurry to find the ship's coordinates; instead, she searched for them little by little.

At the very least, she wanted to find what she wanted before she left.

On the other hand, with fewer Iberian soldiers entering the dream world, the deep-sea hunters had more time to explore.

A four-person exploration team, with Gladys and the Doctor at its core, is traversing through the dream world, trying to find the ship that Patch calls the one that can reach Agor.

However, they had already traversed the dream more than a dozen times and found countless campfires, but never once did they reach a location related to the ship.

This made Goredia a little anxious.

"Is that giant ship you mentioned really real?"

After exploring their surroundings once again, the four sat around the campfire, and Goredia asked Patch a question.

“Deepsea hunters are naturally able to respond to dreams, and dreams will respond to our wishes. But even with this advantage, we have already gone through fourteen teleportations and still haven’t found that giant ship.”

It's no wonder that Greta doubted Patch's words.

Deepsea hunters receive preferential treatment in dreams, which is why they can find other people and send them out of the dream world.

Even with such preferential treatment, they still hadn't found the giant ship, having already wasted most of their time in the dream. They even sensed that their time remaining in the dream was running out.

If even the deep-sea hunters can't get to that giant ship, then who can find it?

Goredia believed that the only possibility was that mysterious immortal man.

However, the Undead haven't encountered them yet, making any communication difficult.

"I think if we still can't find the giant ship after a few more teleportations, we should split up for now."

Goredia made a decision.

"Doctor, go find the Rhodes Island operators. Laurentina and I will go find Skadi. First, we'll gather the Deepsea Hunters in our dreams, and then we'll go find you."

The reason why Goredia would say such a thing is naturally because the current situation is not good.

Too much time has already been wasted.

The doctor nodded, agreeing with this viewpoint.

“I came here not just to find a boat, I have other purposes.”

The doctor spread his hands.

"How about I leave the group for now during this teleportation and not travel with you guys? If I can find a ship, that would be a good thing."

After some discussion, the group decided that the four people who had originally met together would split into two groups.

Grandia and Laurentina parted ways with Doctor Patch, while the Doctor and Patch went to another location together.

After determining the division of labor, Goredia quickly carried out the next teleportation.

Only deep-sea hunters can perceive the urgency in their hearts.

The longer we return to Agor, the more severe the changes in Agor may become.

They cannot afford such a loss.

Watching the two deep-sea hunters disappear.

The Doctor and Patch simultaneously withdrew their hands from the teleportation.

They looked at each other.

What do you think?

Patch was the first to ask the doctor a question.

The two men stayed behind because they had something they wanted to discuss, and these two seasoned veterans tacitly made the same choice.

"Deep-sea hunters...it was a rather niche research topic back then. I never expected that they would become Agor's main force now."

The doctor shook his head; this was something he hadn't expected.

"Body composition that is the same as Haisi's allows for rapid growth as long as there is contact with Haisi, and even the ability to reach a higher level of life by hunting down its own kind. However, due to a series of safety concerns, it was temporarily shelved. Unexpectedly, the people of Agor later picked up this research topic again."

"The appearance of the Deep Sea Hunters is not just related to the research you left behind, but more importantly, there are other reasons. However, I forgot."

Patch simply sat down again.

"Judging from their anxious appearance now, they are probably influenced by that Lord of the Abyss. Returning directly to Agor would be detrimental to them."

"However, if there are immortals..."

When the topic turned to immortals, the two exchanged a glance and smiled simultaneously.

"Guess where the Undead are right now?"

The doctor even had the mood to joke with Patch.

Patch thought for a moment, then said uncertainly.

"I feel like he shouldn't be that fast; he's probably still wandering on the outskirts of the dream..."

"I think he has already found Alk."

The doctor stroked his chin and deduced.

“Aker’s driving core is inseparable from his flame. Logically speaking, Aker and he should also have a close relationship. According to the principle of attraction between dreams, there is a high probability that he is currently on Aker’s side.”

"But I came to the dream world not for that ship."

The doctor also sat down and lingered by the campfire for a while.

He's not in a hurry.

Patch frowned upon hearing this.

Kal'tsit?

"Ah."

The doctor nodded and said.

"Do you remember the girl I brought before?"

"Of course, that girl... has a very special feeling about her."

Patch recalled.

"I remember, what was her name, Theresa?"

"Yes, Theresa."

The doctor grunted in response.

"Theresia has a great influence on Kal'tsit. If it weren't for Theresia, Kal'tsit would probably still be in a state of confusion and uncertainty. Theresia's ideals coincide with ours. That's why I let her come into contact with traces of history... Of course, the most important reason is because of her background."

"She is a member of the Kazdel royal family... In other words, the last battle of the Undead ended in Kazdel, you can think about that."

Patch looked at the doctor in surprise.

No wonder the Doctor brought Theresa here in the first place.

"So you've been planning this for a long time? Your disappearance that time was also related to the return of the undead, wasn't it?"

"Yes, but Kal'tsit doesn't know."

The doctor admitted it.

“Kal'tsit has changed her body many times, and her soul is so broken that even the undead can't perceive it. If we want her to remember her past and the responsibilities we bear, we have to use some unconventional methods.”

"It is ironic in a sense that children born from the abyss, untainted, ultimately need the abyss's methods to regain their senses."

The doctor clapped his hands and continued.

“If Kal'tsit entered the dream today, then she should have already come into contact with Theresa. The black humanity that was stripped from her body, tainted by the abyss, should have become a new Abyss King, of the same nature as the other Sarkaz royal family outside.”

"The Abyss's decision to nurture this broken soul was partly a precaution against the undead, but unfortunately, they still didn't understand..."

At this point, a sense of relief appeared on both of their faces.

Patch knew what the doctor meant; the Undead had told them his thoughts before the final battle.

Fortunately, thanks to the Doctor and Kal'tsit's years of hard work, all of this has become a reality.

This was bound to happen.

Kal'tsit has simply forgotten why she did it.

"A wandering soul must eventually awaken from its dream; it's time for Kal'tsit to confront her past."

The doctor stood up and held his hand toward the campfire.

"I'm going to find Kal'tsit and check on her. If you're free, you can go with the Deepsea Hunters to look for their companion."

"I understand, you can go now."

Patch waved.

He didn't want to spend any more time with those two women.

He had given all the guidance he needed to, and now he wanted to find something interesting to do.

For example, the little girl I met in my dream a while ago.

If all these people are drawn to the dream, then she should have returned as well.

Meanwhile, Skadi, Kroos, and the other two, who were exploring in the laboratory, had already traveled a considerable distance.

What they saw in their dreams was no less than what the undead experienced.

However, none of the three knew much about history, and they couldn't perceive how shocking the information conveyed in these images was.

Skadi, however, was struck by one of the images. But her focus was somewhat different from that of Kroos and the other two.

"So, Doctor, you've been here before, right?"

After watching so many short films in her dream, even if Melanie was slow-witted, she realized that the dream seemed to have some connection to reality.

"In those scenes, when the Doctor is doing research and experiments, the woman who is often by his side is the former Dr. Kal'tsit?"

"What you're saying is both right and wrong."

Skadi said.
