Ark Undead

At this point, none of the three said anything.

This is so bizarre, both bizarre and despairing.

The invulnerable giant nightmare, originally their enemy, now launches an attack on the mud monster.

There is also an ever-growing power, and one's own strength is constantly being depleted.

At this point, everyone was almost out of supplies. W's Originium explosives, being a dream replay, were somewhat manageable. However, the Greyhounds and Undead were truly unable to use any magic.

Greyhound felt his head starting to spin. He had used up too much mental energy, and continuing to use Originium Arts was no longer a breeze, but a burden.

If Greyhound were to condense various crystals for its own combat, it would probably have to pass out.

Aren't immortals the same?

When he first used this simple spell, sparks flashed two or three times.

After losing the supply of the First Flame, the Undead have unleashed countless spells in an attempt to slow the advance of the Mud.

Whether it's a lightning spear used for single-point blasting or a chaotic fireball used to cover the ground and stop the silt from advancing.

Even the Undead used many high-level miracles to see if they could cause any damage to the sludge aggregate.

The answer is that while miracles do work, they are not common.

Even these wounds were covered again by the slowly spreading silt within seconds.

The immortals have already exhausted too much of their spiritual energy, but to no avail.

The PhD really doesn't treat them like human beings.

The kind of obstruction he mentioned was truly the kind that uses every possible means to try to stop it from moving forward, without causing any damage whatsoever.

After resting for less than two minutes, everyone got up from the ground again.

"Let's go."

Greyhound wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and having regained some of his energy, he bounced around again.

"Don't push yourself too hard, big brother. You can say so if you can't take it anymore."

Even at this moment, Greyhound still had the mind to joke with the Undead.

The Undead glanced at Greyhound; he knew, of course, that Greyhound was deliberately provoking him.

However, it was fortunate that he was a greyhound, otherwise the atmosphere among the three of them wouldn't be so serious.

The Undead put the cleaned arm armor back on and secured it, and the fragments on the gap in the arm armor were also cleaned up.

"Let's go."

...

Just as the Undead were preparing to go to the next level, the seventh level.

In a room on the seventh floor, a small flame lit up in the darkness.

A campfire appeared out of nowhere amidst sparks, and flames ignited from the ashes at the bottom, setting the entire sword ablaze.

Then, two white rune marks appeared on the floor of the room.

The sparks ignited the runic traces, transforming them into two crouching figures.

It was Greta and Laurentina.

The two looked at each other the moment they opened their eyes, and then simultaneously raised their weapons.

The chainsaw roared as it spun, slicing open the body of Hai Si, who was still asleep beside it.

The long spear also pierced through Hai Si's head hanging on the wall amidst the swirling storm.

After cleaning the room, they put away their weapons and began to examine it.

"A very familiar decoration..."

Laurentina looked around at the layout of the room, her eyes gradually widening.

"Are we back in Agor?!"

"It's not Agor, but it's very close."

Goredia slung her spear behind her back, reached for a book on the bookshelf beside her, and said.

"Ark Alk, we've finally arrived."

435. Things that counteract dreams

If we were to say who suffered the most casualties in the war against Haisi, it would undoubtedly be the people of Agor.

However, in the face of this war, among the Agor people who were almost wiped out, we must mention the Deep Sea Hunters.

This is not a population; it is a cluster produced for a specific function.

They are the people of Agor, but they also bear the responsibility of protecting the people and hunting down the Haisi.

From the moment of his birth, Agor had been fighting against the Hais. This tradition, even up to the generation of Goredia, remained unexplained.

Even though everyone says that Hai Si is a demon, a manifestation of the ocean's will.

But only the deep-sea hunters remain silent about this, and they always engage in silent hunts.

It's not because they don't have time to participate in the discussions among the people of Agor.

Rather, it was because they discovered a startling fact, a fact powerful enough to reverse the entire Agorian people's mindset and make everyone realize that what they had always believed was wrong.

And this fact gradually fermented in Goredia's mind.

As the captain of the second squadron of the Deep Sea Hunters Group and one of Agor's military governors, Goredia naturally had the right to access many deeper secrets.

For example, research on Haisi and exploration of its own history.

The Agors have a long and rich history, and their technological level was enough to dominate the land countless times.

However, based on the lessons learned from the country of Agor, no one will actually set foot on land.

Until that great stillness.

Many Agorians were sent to the land without their knowledge, bringing their skills and abilities with them to live among other races.

And just ten years after this group left Agor, the Great Quiet broke out.

The Great Tranquility dragged Agor into an abyss, and all the Deepsea Hunters were dragged into a curse during that battle.

From then on, all the deep-sea hunters who participated in the hunt will never be able to have a peaceful sleep again.

They would hunt down the Sea Heirs in their dreams, trying to stay conscious amidst endless battles.

Or they might allow themselves to be captured by the sea, becoming part of the dream, and then turn around and harm their own kind.

Today, only three deep-sea hunters remain alive and maintain their group's connection.

And Gretia, of course, no longer needed to keep that secret; she would no longer remain silent to Laurentina.

But what's puzzling is that Laurentina never seems to have brought up that question.

Perhaps during the years that Laurentina was tormented by Originium, she also realized her own difference and found her own answer.

But when she actually faced Hai Si and the scales on her chest grew wildly once again, Goredia finally understood.

The dream world, this unique battlefield, is not actually a disaster.

It was a curse, a curse that tried to make them understand who they were supposed to be.

Perhaps it's not just the deep-sea hunters; other Iberians dragged into dreams, or other groups who happened to travel to Iberia and fell into nightmares, are all the same in this respect.

They should have shared the same language, spoken the same words, and lived together in the same country.

But now they are separated by some reason.

This dream will reveal "reality" to them and uncover the true power that belongs to humanity.

And facing such reality is itself part of this curse.

Goredia was eager to end this dream precisely because it was something that was not allowed.

She knew all too well that what she perceived as reality was merely a harbinger of another disaster.

That would be the end that plunges everything into a profound silence.

"Lauren Tina!"

With a soft cry, the storm that had gathered on the spear in her hand suddenly condensed, clinging to the tip of the blade like a miniature tornado.

As the deep-sea hunter whirled around, the storm she created, along with the water vapor that appeared out of nowhere, gathered together.

It shattered the mud that should have climbed onto her body and then pierced diagonally into the chest of the giant monster.

Laurentina, who had been called out by Gretia, wildly brandished the already spinning chainsaw.

In her hands, the chainsaw, switched on, moved swiftly, sparks flying as the saw teeth collided, crashing into the monster's chest just like Goredia's spear.

The violent chainsaw tore through the mud as it spun, almost sawing the body right through.

But when Laurentina pulled back and jumped, the gap that had been cut open began to heal itself in the blink of an eye.

By the time Laurentina and Gretina took two steps back to avoid the splashing mud, the wound on the giant monster's chest had almost completely healed.

"This guy... he's invincible!"

Laurentina slammed the chainsaw to the ground with her right hand, bracing herself against it as she breathed heavily.

"I always felt that this thing was a bit strange. Logically speaking, dreams shouldn't give us an insurmountable monster."

Goredia has been traversing the dream world for decades. It's safe to say that few understand the essence of dreams better than the deep-sea hunters.

"Unless, this monster is not our prey."

In a very short time, Goredia found the answer and explained it to her.

"This is Ark Alk, a scene from the memories of people in some ancient era, so this monster should also have an origin."

“Alk has clues that lead to Agor, and this monster’s main target is not us.”

Goredia's eyes lit up.

"It's going down, and it has a reason to go down! There must be something below that's attracting it!"
