Ark Undead

"Truly... an amazing creation."

Carmen exclaimed.

"It's hard to imagine what kind of power and means those ancient sages who built Argor used to build this ship and set it sailing."

The things inside are the technologies that the Iberians learned from Agor. However, in the eyes of the Iberians, these technologies are already dead.

Because they were unable to reconstruct even a single line from the blueprints in the Argonauts' legacy.

In a sense, Agor refused the Iberians' visit, even though they had once had close ties.

"Back then... it felt like I didn't do anything at all. Time flew by. Everyone worked together, and I've forgotten the process in between."

Kal'tsit murmured.

Carmen turned her head to look at Kal'tsit, then turned her gaze back to continue admiring the large ship.

He didn't care about Kal'tsit's past; all he needed was what Kal'tsit knew and thought now.

She did exactly what she needed to do, and that was enough.

For Carmen, the secret was like a bottle of fine wine.

Enjoy fine wine; a light buzz is just the right amount.

If you drink too much, you might just collapse into a ditch by the roadside one day.

"So, do you regret it now?"

"Kal'tsit asked."

"If you really can't resist, you can go aboard and take a look later. I can't guarantee that after this trip, the ship will still be in wreckage."

Carmen nodded, then shook her head.

"I do regret it."

He unconsciously touched the lantern hanging at his waist.

“That’s Agor.”

For all Iberians, Agor was like the land of Canaan.

Legendary civilized lands, flowing with milk and honey. The knowledge that flowed from them alone was enough to make Iberia stand at the pinnacle of Terra.

"However, let's forget about it."

Carmen turned away, no longer looking up at the ships, and said with a smile.

“I’m afraid that once I go up there, I’ll be even less willing to come down.”

"I also have the blood of an adventurer flowing in my veins."

Kal'tsit smiled silently; she understood Carmen's feelings.

So Carmen simply put the hat on her head and then looked back at the giant ship.

“But that won’t do. Iberia can’t live on the corpses of others forever. We get our nourishment from it and we also clean out the termites for it. We can’t let the termites crawl into our own house.”

His eyes were filled with longing and hope before he turned and walked toward the makeshift camp.

"I'll go check on the small boat. Let me know when you've cleaned this up."

He then waved to Kal'tsit and left the shore.

Kal'tsit bowed slightly to Carmen, expressing her respect for his forbearance and restraint.

It's doubtful that any Iberian would have remained rational enough to stay ashore after seeing such a massive ship.

Especially when facing someone who has real rights and the ability to protect themselves.

The fact that Iberia was able to make such a rational choice already destined it to go further.

"Dr. Kal'tsit."

Scout came up behind Kal'tsit and called out to her.

Kal'tsit turned around.

"All cleaned up?"

"More are emerging, and there are definitely more inside the ship, but the number has indeed decreased."

Scout shook his hand; dealing with these Sea Legions was indeed a bit too much for someone like him who specialized in reconnaissance.

"Of course, thank you for your hard work. Once the area is mostly cleared, we can prepare to board the ship."

Kal'tsit turned around and looked up at the giant ship once more.

"I wonder what it's become inside."

...

While the Rhodes Island staff were dealing with matters related to the Sea King, a figure quietly lowered his head in the dim light and then hid behind the watchtower during the gap between shadow and light.

A moment later, a head emerged from the water behind the watchtower, staring at the figure standing beside it.

"You're here?"

Patch crouched down and looked at his friend floating in the water.

"We'll be getting ready to board the ship in a bit, so if you want to get on, you'd better do it now."

"I've almost finished dealing with the Deep Sea Church, and there won't be any pursuers coming after us."

Ulby, who was in the water, adjusted his hat and said.

How do I get up there?

"It depends on your own abilities."

Patch squatted down as always, with his hands on his knees, looking at Ulpian in the water with a half-smile.

"I can't possibly send you onto the ship in front of everyone."

Ulpian fell silent.

When Patch saw him like that, he quickly took two steps back.

"Don't be angry, I didn't trick you. But if you really want to get up there, I suggest you go around and climb up from the back. Anyway, the Arke isn't hard to climb, why don't you give it a try?"

Ulpian glanced back.

Then he turned back and asked in a somewhat stiff tone.

"This ship is at least several kilometers long, are you serious?"

In other words, Ulpian had to swim several kilometers to the side, find a secluded corner to climb onto the boat, and even deal with the sea creatures that emerged from the boat.

"if not?"

Patch stopped wasting time with Ulbian and spoke directly.

"You know, I have a really tough guy on my side. If you're really planning to climb up from the front, I can't guarantee you'll survive."

"Think about your current situation, and then think about why you would make this deal with me in the first place."

Patch stood up for once, and although Ulbian was slightly displeased, he knew that this was the only option he had.

Even just a glimpse of that guy called the Undead made him feel pain and dizziness, as if his eyes had been burned.

He had reason to believe that if he really intended to pass in front of him, he would surely be pierced through the chest by that greatsword.

"I see."

Then, Ulpian sank into the water and, under the cover of darkness and the dim lights on the shore, swam to the other side.

Patch squinted as he watched the ocean waves engulf his tracks.

I never expected that while I was trapped in a dream, I would encounter such an interesting guy.

It was a pleasant surprise.

After everyone had finished cleaning up the sea, they bid farewell to the Iberian soldiers who remained on the watchtower, and then boarded the small boats they had made on the spot and boarded Arke.

Surprisingly, the scenery on the Arke was exactly the same as what everyone had seen in their dreams.

This includes the captain's cabin on the deck, and even the lights near the railing.

The only thing they hadn't anticipated was that the ship was truly enormous, unimaginably large, and impossible to see in its entirety with the naked eye.

Therefore, after boarding the ship, the group did not rest.

Without stopping, they followed the path from the dream to the navigation room on the first deck below.

In the dream world, the Undead are responsible for opening the navigation room. Therefore, the Undead also intend to use the same method to "knock" on the navigation room door.

However, Kal'tsit managed to hold off the Undead.

After taking the black controller from Patch, Kal'tsit easily opened the door to the navigation room with the controller covering her hand.

It was almost identical to what the three Greyhounds saw in their dream.

Documents were scattered all over the floor, and sailors were slumped over in their seats.

The only thing missing was the statue that was placed on the central table.

Greyhound stared at the table in the middle for a long time, and finally looked away somewhat uncomfortably.

"Let's clean this place up first. We'll probably be staying here for a while."

Kal'tsit reached out and brushed the documents off the table, then used her controller gloves to lift the entire top cover of the table from underneath.

The controller section in the middle was exposed.

"The near future?"

Scout got to the point.

Will we be sailing for a long time?

"If nothing unexpected happens, yes."

Kal'tsit nodded.

"When the Argor was built... I mean, according to the documents, the ship was at sea for more than six months before the construction site of the Argor was chosen."

Without realizing it, Kal'tsit uttered a dizzying amount of time.
