In fact, not to mention the audience, even the fighters on the "Kanon Team" felt that Ei-Hatsu's future was bleak. Those who didn't participate in the elimination tournament, such as Soryujin and Maki Haku, were okay, but familiar faces like Kosou and Murobuchi were cheering for Ei-Hatsu, shouting, "Dr. Ei, be careful!"

"I've received everyone's well wishes." Yingchu put her hands in her pockets, a smile on her face. "Don't worry, the new technique is complete."

The referee signaled for both sides to go over for a check, found nothing amiss, and then signaled for them to return to their positions and prepare for the match. From his first appearance on the field until now, Jack Van Mascherano hadn't uttered a single word, maintaining a cold expression throughout.

As soon as a gong sounded, the battle began, and Jack instantly rushed in front of Yingchu and threw a punch.

Yingchu was caught off guard and was blasted more than ten meters away by the punch! Wow, more than ten meters away!

Taking this punch as an opportunity, Jack's patience ran out, and he roared at Hanon on the sidelines: "Are you underestimating me? Send up someone who can really fight!"

In Jack's opinion, Kanon's decision to send out the skinny Eiichi was mostly because she lacked confidence in defeating him and simply opted to "use a weaker opponent against a stronger one," a strategic gamble—this was giving Jack a high regard, but Jack was not happy about it.

Or perhaps the young master has some special skill that he might be able to steal—this underestimates Jack's abilities, which would only make Jack more annoyed.

So Jack roared, "I won't leave until you give me an explanation!"

"Um, are you going to admit defeat now?" Hanon sneered, pointing behind Jack. "Your opponent is clearly waiting to fight you."

Jack turned around and saw Yingchu standing up as if nothing had happened.

Well, it's not fair to say he acted like nothing happened; Yingchu's face was covered in blood after just one punch!

But judging from his condition, he was lively and energetic. He slowly pulled his hands out of his pockets and assumed a fighting stance. He looked relaxed and didn't seem injured at all.

“Strange…” Jack frowned, realizing that things were not simple; this person indeed “had a special skill.”

But can England "steal a piece of Jack's thunder"?

Just kidding, that's Jack Vanma! He made it to the semifinals of the last tournament and went toe-to-toe with Kanon.

The next second, Jack rushed in front of Yingchu again and threw a punch.

Yingchu was much shorter than Jack, and she ducked to avoid the punch. However, Jack had his other hand clenched into a fist and was waiting for Yingchu below. "Boom!" A hook punch landed squarely!

Yingchu was sent flying again, this time five or six meters away, if not ten meters, and rained blood down in mid-air. He was punched in the chin, and by all accounts the fight should be over.

But Jack didn't turn away; he kept his eyes fixed on Yingchu... Yingchu stood up again.

“It’s really tough.” Jack tilted his head back slightly, his attitude becoming a bit more serious. “I heard you’re a doctor. Looks like you’ve made some ‘adjustments’ to your body.”

“Likewise.” Blood was gushing from Yingchu’s mouth as he spoke, but he didn’t care at all, as if the blood was just a blood pack and worthless: “I’ve heard Huayin and Dr. Hao mention your deeds, and I’m very interested in them—I really hope to be able to dissect you.”

“Tsk, what a broken guy.” Jack glanced at Hana. “You actually know someone like that.”

Kanon scratched her head: "Aren't you actually a good person, Amu?"

As she was speaking, Jack interrupted her, rolling up his sleeves to reveal his extremely muscular biceps: "Whatever, no matter how freak he is, I'll still take him down."

"Bang—" A lightning-fast punch sent Ying Chu flying for the third time.

"Bang—" The fourth time.

After four consecutive knockdowns, Yingchu was knocked to the sidelines, and then Jack launched a new attack on Yingchu—no, a new round of heavy blows.

Jack's strength was already astonishing, and now that he has grown taller and heavier, every punch and kick he throws is a critical blow that breaks through Yingchu's defenses. Soon, Yingchu is bombarded by the storm of attacks and his body is suspended in mid-air!

"Wow, that's amazing. He looks really powerful." Yingchu's body floated in the air, his limbs curled up, trying his best to protect his vitals. But because every attack broke through his defenses, he could still see his body gradually breaking down, and blood was flowing from his mouth. After fighting for a minute, he was completely crushed by Jack.

But then again, even after all this, Yingchu still sees his own body as an unrelated third party. Just how far has he modified his body? He's practically a mad scientist!

"We can't keep going like this, my body really can't take it!"

Jack, who was fiercely attacking Yingchu, suddenly realized something was wrong and leaped back. In a flash, a sword struck his shoulder—like Wolverine, he concealed a sword in his hand, which was Yingchu's signature move!

"Ah! That's... Yingchu is actually holding two sharp swords out of her palms! This is unbelievable!" The commentator slammed his fist on the table and stood up: "The referee obviously can't verify this way of carrying weapons. So, should we now rule Yingchu out for violating the rules and lose?"

"Hahaha, just kidding!" Unexpectedly, it was Jack who responded to the commentator. He looked down at the stands and the referee with an air of dominance: "This battle is just for show. Who said we have to fight according to the arena rules?" He then turned to Yingchu: "Using swords? Fine, it will increase the difficulty of the hunt. But you're quite ruthless to your own body."

"It's nothing, just some small experience I've gained in my 'daily work'." Ying Chu remained calm and composed, as if Jack's beating hadn't affected him at all—although he didn't look like he was alright at all.

Jack didn't find this kind of opponent exhilarating, but it was still quite amusing. Before asking Hanako to field herself or send in Wakatsuki and Yuri, it wouldn't hurt to warm up with Eiichi: "Well then, let's see if it's the second round."

Jack threw another punch at Yingchu, but this time Yingchu held a sword in both hands. His strength couldn't stop Jack, but he was able to block the blade in Jack's path of attack, thus forcing Jack to change his move.

Unfortunately, he shouldn't have forced Jack to change his tactics, because Jack's change of tactics... became even more ferocious.

When he said "round two," Jack had already made up his mind—to bite with his teeth.

Jack's steel teeth are a more terrifying weapon than his fists and feet!

With a height of over 210 centimeters and a weight of over 130 kilograms, coupled with the bite force of his jaws... Jack's bite was almost comparable to the tearing of a crocodile, a lion, and a tiger... even stronger, like the giant monster Godzilla! Yingchu's resilience was obviously due to the use of some kind of anesthetic in his brain to make him oblivious to pain and dizziness. So, if he directly used his steel teeth to "physically" damage Yingchu's body, surely he wouldn't have the ability to regenerate?

"That's terrifying, I should have worn a bulletproof vest." Faced with Jack's blood-red mouth and lightning-fast bite, all Yingchu could do was slam her heel into the ground—just like Dorian had explosives hidden in his palm, Yingchu also had gunpowder hidden in her heel. The amount was not much, and the purpose was not to hurt people but to propel her, just like the principle of a gun firing a bullet, instantly accelerating the kick to an unimaginable degree.

"Bang!" Yingchu's kick hit Jack's bite before it did.

Author's Note: The potential for Yingchu's character development is incredibly high... almost as high as the old heroes of the main story, but clearly, he wasn't given that much of a plot advantage here.

Section 650, Chapter 643: A Broken Me Creates a Broken You

Yingchu's kick landed, and Jack's bite missed. However, Yingchu was unable to complete the pursuit. Just as he was about to swing his sword to stab, he was frightened by Jack's eyes.

Jack, kicked by Yingchu, truly unleashed his ferocity. Before, he had been somewhat content to just casually spar with Yingchu, intending to quickly defeat him and then face a real master. However, annoyed by Yingchu's harassment, Jack was now filled with fighting spirit! His overwhelming killing intent clearly indicated that he wanted to devour Yingchu alive!

Startled by Jack's fierce glare, Yingchu paused slightly, then a resigned expression appeared on his face: "Oh dear, this is terrible."

The next moment, Jack grabbed Yingchu's leg, pulled hard, and slammed him to the ground—and that wasn't enough, there was a second, a third... Have you seen "The Avengers"? The way the Hulk slammed Loki was recreated here.

After a series of violent slams, Jack threw Yingchu out like an angry child throwing away a toy he was tired of playing with.

Toys that are thrown away are usually covered in scratches, and Yingchu was no exception. After being thrown around like that, he had multiple fractures and bleeding all over his body. It was a medical miracle that he was still alive!

So when Jack saw that Yingchu could still stand up despite her swaying, he was completely stunned. This was no medical miracle; it was practically the work of the devil.

Jack felt something was wrong the more he looked at it; it seemed... he really was a little dizzy?

"You! What did you do to me?" Soon, the dizziness began to spread, and the world in Jack's eyes became blurry and chaotic. He felt dizzy and unsteady, and he could barely see Yingchu's figure, let alone continue fighting him.

Ying Chu spread his hands, the blade of the sword extending from his palm still dripping blood—his own blood: "I have many antibodies against the virus in my body, so as long as I inject myself with the virus before the battle, I can infect the enemy unharmed before the virus is eliminated by the antibodies. But Jack, you don't need to worry, the virus you're using is very weak and not fatal."

"Transmitting a virus through blood... you despicable man." Jack slumped to one knee, feeling utterly exhausted. As one of the world's strongest warriors, he couldn't even stand properly.

"Although this virus is not fatal, the human body consumes a lot of energy when fighting it, which can lead to fever, weakness, or coma." Yingchu began to walk towards Jack. His pace was slow, and with his blood-stained body, he really looked like a demon from hell.

But in reality, the reason he was walking slowly was because Yingchu's body had been completely damaged by Jack's repeated attacks. He subjectively wanted to end the battle as soon as possible, but objectively he couldn't.

"Sigh, although the surgery blocked the transmission of pain signals from the hypothalamus and modified the secretion of anesthetic in the brain so that I wouldn't faint, the physical damage is real... The human body is very strange. Sometimes it is a burden, and sometimes it can have miraculous effects. Jack, ever since Dr. Tinghao mentioned you, I have really wanted to dissect you and see for myself."

“Madman…” Jack only managed to say this before collapsing completely.

The winner has been decided? The referee was stunned. Just a dozen seconds ago, Jack was beating up Yingchu, but in the blink of an eye, it turned into Yingchu torturing and killing Jack.

More importantly, what should he do with Jack?

Could the audience be expecting a live autopsy?

Yingchu slowly moved to Jack's side, sheathing his "shuriken"—and casually licking the poisoned blade. Then he raised his hand: "Referee, please announce the winner and take the patient to the infirmary. I..."

Fortunately, at least Yingchu didn't intend to make a move on the spot...

"What are you doing!" A shout suddenly came from the sidelines. Looking in the direction of the voice, it turned out to be Baki running over from the locker room.

Although their relationship wasn't good, they shared the same bloodline as Hanma, and Jack was ultimately Baki's older brother. Baki couldn't just watch him get cut up alive.

"What are you doing..." The simple question made Yingchu hesitate greatly. "I'm still confused from being beaten. Let me think about how to comfort the deceased's family... Ah, right, I'm going to help him with his treatment!" Yingchu even fumbled around beside her. "Where's my organ donation form? You're his family member, right? Could you please sign it for me..."

At that moment, something unexpected happened: Jack Van Ma suddenly charged towards Ying Chu!

Jack didn't even stand up; he hadn't completely lost consciousness. He lay prone on the ground to gather strength, his limbs digging deep into the soil to prepare for the charge. By the time Yingchu arrived, Jack had mustered considerable power, and he launched a swift and fierce charge.

"Ouch—" Jack tackled Yingchu.

"Eek—" Yingchu exclaimed, "Is it because he's so tall and strong that the virus couldn't completely knock him unconscious?"

This was terrible. Jack was exhausted, but he was already on top of Yingchu, and Yingchu's body was in terrible shape. Facing the enraged Jack...

Emmm, how can a broken me completely destroy a broken you?

Jack's fist came down!

"Bang!" The punch landed squarely on Ying Chu's face. It was nothing that Ying Chu had a nosebleed, and he probably had a few broken bones on his face too—but that was nothing either. Ying Chu wouldn't lose consciousness or feel pain. The only way to kill him was to "kill him."

"Hmph." Jack scoffed. He wasn't a merciful warrior. An enemy that only death could stop? Well, let's see how he dies then!

Jack's second punch landed!

"Bang!" It was another blow to the face, and the damage was even greater than the previous one. Yingchu felt the threat of death acutely.

Jack's third punch...did not land.

Because of the sudden, excruciating pain in Jack's legs, Jack, who was already too weak to stand due to the virus, suddenly sprang up, leaping high into the air and letting out a scream he rarely uttered: "Ah—"

After Jack jumped back a few steps, Yingchu also got a chance to catch his breath. He rolled eighteen times on the spot and got out of Jack's attack range.

Jack looked at his legs, noticing two dented bruises on each thigh. He frowned. "Was it pressure point therapy?"

“It’s pressure point therapy.” Ying Chu stood up abruptly. Despite the repeated blows to his head, his body had recovered considerably. “I remember you referred to combat as hunting. So, doctors sometimes need to learn some hunting techniques in order to obtain anatomical materials.”

Lie Haiwang, who was watching from the sidelines, said, "This is the Ling Shu Qin Na technique, a profound acupoint striking method derived from the Yellow Emperor's Inner Classic. It turns out that Dr. Ying is also a successor of Chinese martial arts."

"So many tricks up his sleeve." Jack Van Ma may be reckless, but he's not bad-minded. Moreover, his talents aren't limited to his height and weight; his balance is also world-class. In a short time, although his physical strength has declined significantly, he has adapted to the dizziness caused by the poisoning. Like a sick person on a ship, he can move his hands and feet and fight to the death if necessary.

“Yingchu… I admit you are a formidable opponent.” Jack spread his arms wide: “I will use all my strength to take you down.”

A broken me created a broken you. About three minutes into the battle, Yingchu had already dragged Jack into a life-or-death struggle.

Author's Note: I'm so weak, helpless, and pitiful. This afternoon I had to fix the water pipes, running back and forth several times to buy parts. Plus, the pipe burst again, so I spent ages mopping the floor. It was almost six o'clock, and I haven't had dinner yet. If I can't post four updates today, I'll post five tomorrow, but I'll still try my best to finish four updates today, as always.

The battle between Jack and Yingchu was the most intense of the entire competition. This chapter was written a bit hastily, and I feel I could have developed it further; perhaps Yingchu will have another chance to fight in the future (laughs).
