Those time travelers that year

Unveiling this series of hidden histories reveals a chilling array of conspiracies and intrigues. Civilizations, from beginning to end, cannot achieve leaps in development; whenever a race or civilization reaches its zenith, it inevitably encounters various 'unexpected' events at its peak.
The modern-day Githyanki are less a free race of astral raiders and more a pawn of Tiamat after forming an 'alliance' with the red dragons. Velakis became the queen ruling the Githyanki because of the ancient red dragon Ephilomoon…
From the very beginning, or rather, from the moment Geese disappeared, the Geese Yankees were once again reduced to pawns in someone else's game.
Of course, this is normal. Even a powerful empire like Netheril perished because of this, let alone the mere Githyanki.
That was a concealed history; what happened had long been deliberately hidden from the annals of time. However, this concealment clearly couldn't withstand the power of the monkey, even though the monkey had forcibly linked its mind to all the Gith Yankees in the city, as well as some red dragons and the city's slaves. The monkey still possessed enough power to directly travel back in time, arriving at that concealed era.
Then, witnessed by all life in the city, during that past period of time, Geese walked alone into the hell of Bathor, into Tiamat's lair... never to return.
"Tell me, is this the result you wanted?!" Rewinding to this point, the monkey's deafening voice echoed in the hearts of all those connected by spirits throughout the city: "Tell me... how did you repay your ancestors? Answer me now—"
"—What you idiots really think!"
Intense emotional fluctuations created ripples within the mental links, each a complex and nuanced expression of the mind. Then, not long after, all the mental fluctuations belonging to the Gisyanki converged into a single thought—revenge.
In contrast to the Githusheres who betrayed and even split off, every Githyanki has always considered themselves a descendant of Githus. Even the name Githyanki means "child of Githus."
So after the monkeys killed Vairakis, the lich who had ruled with oppressive power and distorted the worldview of the Gith Yankees, it seems that some underlying factor was also shattered, and the entire Gith Yankees' mindset began to change.
The monkey was very pleased with this scene. Controlling its powerful divine sense, it helped connect the minds of every Giuseppe Yankee, forming a newly created but magically powerful mental network. Then, the monkey began uploading its own thoughts and beliefs to this network, providing them to every Giuseppe Yankee connected to it for viewing and understanding. To prevent any malicious individuals from using this network to corrupt these reformed Giuseppe Yankees, the monkey deliberately injected a portion of its divine sense into the deepest part of the network, connecting it to a tributary of the Force that had been born under its influence.
After that, with the power of this mental network, the unified Githyanki people created the great Protos Empire civilization, and this mental network was revered by all its users as the Divine Kara.
Of course, that was a long time later. Right now, these reformed Gisyanki were mostly weeping and needed time to recover. The slaves who remained in the city had all been freed and regained their freedom. Of course, some of these freed individuals chose to heed the monkey's teachings and stay.
So the monkey simply started preaching right there in the city, sharing his understanding of Mao Zedong's Selected Works and other great works with all his listeners. And those who listened to the monkey's teachings, regardless of their status, respectfully addressed him as "Master" after he finished his sermon.
"Very good! Your future depends on yourselves." In response, the monkey left a message before taking the monkey away, saying, "As the saying goes, it is better to rely on yourself than on God. Only when you are strong, only when civilization is strong, can the whole world truly see a bright future."
“I can’t stay and guide you; otherwise, it would be repeating your past mistakes. Only you yourselves can lead you…”
"...Farewell then. I, Old Sun, have other matters to attend to. Of course, before that, I, Old Sun, will help you one last time, freeing you from the covert control of that five-headed monster."
"Farewell, but you must remember these twelve words: prosperity, democracy, civility, harmony, freedom, equality, justice, rule of law, patriotism, dedication, integrity, and friendliness."
The monkey left, waving its sleeves and disappearing without a trace.
The seeds have been sown; what they will grow into depends solely on these laborers. Of course, the monkey had great faith in these reformed individuals, and before leaving, he didn't hesitate to expend his magic once more to glimpse the possibilities of the future.
In a future timeline, these descendants of Geese, who regained their freedom, were inspired to recognize their actions and chose to redeem themselves as red dragons... and many more like-minded individuals in the future, together created a civilization that developed around psychic abilities.
Beneath that artful spaceship, and beneath that shimmering psionic crystal, a golden civilization was born.
570. Tiamat's Dream
Tiamat, the goddess of dragons, is one of the most notorious dragons in this multiverse. Her lair is located in Aphrodite, the first layer of the Baton Hell, and her dwelling is a dark cave. She is only concerned with spreading her evil doctrines, including, of course, the idea of conquering the world. Influenced by her, every adult dragon of the five chromatic dragonflights develops related thoughts to varying degrees.
This is the manifestation of the influence of deities in this multiverse.
As deities closely connected to the Forces of the world, Tiamat's thoughts, ideas, and actions directly influence those around her through the Forces related to her domain. Tiamat is the goddess of dragons, so the desire to conquer the world originated with her and spread throughout the entire five-colored dragonflight.
Conversely, metal dragons wouldn't have such thoughts, because platinum dragons have never considered this.
So what does it take to conquer the world?! After all, although dragons once ruled the skies of the material world in a very ancient era, that era is long gone, and now that even the Father of Dragons is dead, the dragons have long since fallen from grace.
However, it's clear that Bahamut can face reality, but Tiamat cannot. Therefore, Tiamat has begun various underhanded tactics, attempting to subtly influence the situation and ultimately restore the dragons' glory—thinking too much is sometimes not a good thing!
Therefore, this mother dragon has used all sorts of methods to deal with the Geth Yankees. The fate of Geth is no longer worth speculating about; when the ancient red dragon Ephilomon uttered the lie that 'Geth has appointed Velakis as the next leader of the Geth Yankees,' the entire Geth Yankee race was, in a sense, already controlled by Tiamat.
The so-called alliance with the Red Dragons is a complete lie! Who would believe that the weakened Githyanki, having suffered heavy losses in the civil war, could have any value?! However, the Red Dragons did indeed form an alliance with the Githyanki, and it could even be said that the Githyanki are the only race with a profession called Dragon Rider. Given the Red Dragons' nature, if it weren't for Tiamat, would they have so easily allowed someone else to ride on their backs?!
However, whether secretly controlling the Githyanki, a race reduced to bandits, would actually help Tiamat's so-called world-conquest plan was anyone's guess. But judging from the complete indifference of the other gods, it was clear that this five-headed, idiotic goddess was merely indulging in wishful thinking.
Of course, this five-headed idiot goddess has been having a string of bad luck lately.
In Klein's world, he was almost tricked by a mortal mage. That would have been bad enough, but heaven knows what happened next: just as she was about to use her breath to turn that mortal mage, along with his brother and a Bahamut priest, to ashes... the shattered space, the twisted power, the dark golden pupils looking through the shattered space—every time she recalled it, the mother dragon let out a mournful howl from the deepest part of her lair.
She suffered the most horrific blow in history, a wound that penetrated deep into her soul and even her divinity. It was some kind of bizarre contamination, an incredibly terrifying contamination that, through the projection she had created with her divine power, directly invaded Tiamat's body along with her divine power.
To resist that corrupting power, Tiamat had to painfully expend most of her divine power just to barely maintain herself from complete annihilation. As a result, her divine rank dropped, almost falling out of the category of weak divine power.
While she was recuperating, a new god was born in the world of Klein—the very same mage who had almost tricked her before, the mortal named Raistlin. Anyway, Tiamat has been having a run of bad luck lately, things have been going terribly wrong for her.
But what truly chilled Tiamat was the connection between the new god born in Klein and the owner of those dark golden eyes that shattered space and looked over. And just how terrifying was that creature that had nearly corrupted her with a single glance?
Because of palpitations, or rather, fear, Tiamat has been hiding in her lair lately.
It wasn't until she suddenly sensed the death of Virakis, the ruler of the Githyanki, and could no longer sense the red dragon in the city, that Tiamat realized something had gone wrong. She then sensed that all the altars she had hidden in the largest Githyanki city had been completely destroyed.
"Roar! Who is it!" Tiamat roared, her five heads howling from the deepest part of her lair. "Who is it? Who dares to do this? Who is it?!" A colossal dragon, far larger than any other ancient dragon, possessing five heads and a wyvern-like tail, Tiamat roared. "Find him! Find the one who desecrated my altar! Go to the Astral Plane! Go to the Githyanki..." Enraged, Tiamat began to roar, attempting to send the other five chromatic dragons from her lair towards the Astral Plane. It seemed she'd been having a run of bad luck lately; even now, consumed by rage, Tiamat hadn't forgotten how terrible the Astral Plane was.
However, after shouting several times, there was no response whatsoever, which surprised Tiamat.
"What's going on!?" The mother dragon realized something was wrong. "What happened? Why? Why can't I sense my offspring... Wait, this isn't..."
"This is certainly not your lair, monster!" At this moment, a disdainful voice rang out, "I, Old Sun, was having a headache earlier, wondering whether to beat you up first, or smash that black-skinned iron bucket guy wielding the meteor hammer to pieces..."
"...But that kid I, Old Sun, think is unreliable actually offered a sponsorship out of friendship, so that's perfect..."
"...Before we smash that black-skinned iron bucket guy with the meteor hammer to pieces, let's first give you a good beating in a dream, you five-headed idiot monster."
Following the sound, Tiamat instinctively turned her gaze and saw a... monkey!?
"You, what are you?" She looked like a beast-like being, but for some reason, Tiamat's heart leaped into her throat. "This is impossible... Wait, are you saying this is a dream?!"
"Ah! Is that strange?" The monkey shook its neck and loosened its muscles, saying, "I, Old Sun, have to admit that when it comes to manipulating dreams, I, Old Sun, am no match for that guy. Speaking of which, you monster are really unlucky. You were only glanced at by that guy, and not only did you suffer a backlash of magic power and a great reduction in your cultivation, but you didn't even know that he had left a mark on your soul."
571. The Monkey's Persuasion (Part 1)
"This is impossible!" Tiamat's five heads screamed madly. "Even a dream pupa could not possibly influence the dream of a true god, let alone..." Boom! But before Tiamat could finish speaking, the monkey in front of her vanished instantly, and Tiamat immediately let out a wail as she was blasted away by the monkey's punch.
Although the monkey, which maintains a normal size, is much smaller than Tiamat, unfortunately, it seems that size does not affect its fighting ability.
“Dream pupa? Oh, you mean those guys with several arms!” The monkey clenched his fist and said, “Those guys who like to create nightmares are long gone by now…” Shaking his head, the monkey sighed, “Those guys, when that brat focused his attention on the multiverse, oh, that is, when he distorted space to block your spittle, he also extended his power outwards.”
"That seemingly unreliable kid has already secretly expanded his dream realm. If the Dream Pupa you mentioned wants to survive, it'll have to run as far away as possible. Otherwise, that kid doesn't care about extra food at all." In fact, the Dream God's Abomination, the Dream Pupa, is in a far more miserable state than the monkey imagined.
That said, the Dream Abomination, the Dream Cocoon, is the most disgusting type of abomination. While it may not be as strong as the Alpaca-like Feani, in terms of troublesomeness, it far surpasses the Frost Abomination that the monkey previously blasted to dust with a single punch.
Dreampupae have no specific form, but can be replaced by the nightmares of every creature. However, most survivors describe the dreampupa as a scaly phantom, similar to a giant humanoid ghost made up of thousands of worms, or having many horns, a mouth full of cruel teeth, four arms with claws and four arms with pincers.
The troublesome thing about these creatures is that they can infiltrate the victim's dream in a phantom form, or they can materialize and enter reality through the victim's dream. Furthermore, these creatures can even directly defy certain rules of reality, teleporting the enemy's body directly into a pre-prepared nightmare.
If you want to catch or defeat them, you can either fight them in the dream or find a way to force them out of the dream.
In layman's terms, this is a group of arrogant and reckless individuals who rely on cheat codes to get ahead, and even most gods are helpless against them. They may not be able to defeat the gods, but once they go into hiding, no one knows in whose dream they are lurking.
If they hadn't encountered Sharl, these guys could have continued their reckless ways. But on the day Tiamat was severely injured, Sharl had already connected to the dream world of this multiverse and extended his own power. And in the dream world, the first to come into contact with him were those reckless dream cocoons.
Then they were out of luck.
To be honest, these slackers are quite sophisticated. Even though they're part of the chaotic evil, and just as silly as demons, they're far more intelligent than demons. However, being intelligent doesn't give them the right to act arrogantly in front of Xia Er. As outsiders, Xia Er is naturally unwelcome, so they instinctively rush towards him, intending to attack.
The fastest-rushing dream pupa was pierced through by a longsword burning with twilight flames in the next instant, then burned to ashes. It was lucky, because the other dream pupae that attacked next couldn't even cry... A pitch-black sun appeared directly in the dream world, and countless pitch-black chains extended from that sun, entangling dream pupae one by one. No matter how they resisted, it was futile, and they were directly pulled into the black sun.
Soon, the chilling sound of chewing resounded throughout the entire dream dimension.
Just as the monkey had imagined, if these unfortunate pupae didn't run as far away as possible from Charles, their fate would be to become appetizers. For Charles, the real main course was something else entirely, but before the main course was served, he didn't mind tasting some appetizers. What's more, these appetizers had practically delivered themselves to him.
Especially after discovering that devouring these unfortunate souls greatly helped him bypass the restrictions of this world's rules and significantly shorten the time it would take for his true form to descend, Xia Er became even more determined not to let any of these dream cocoons in this multiverse go by.
Now, unless one is a deity possessing divine authority over fantasy, desire, and dreams, no one knows that in a dreamlike dimension distinct from other planes, at this very moment, the endlessly looping, brainwashing music of 'Paradise Paradise' and 'Giligili Love' relentlessly echoes. It drives one escaped, hidden dream chrysalis after another to utter madness, forcing them to reveal their tracks, and then, one by one, they are captured by pitch-black chains and dragged into the dark sun to be fed to some gloating evil god.
Compared to other creatures, twisted monsters like the Dream Pupa, born from the divine fire of hatred, especially since this one belongs to the chaotic evil alignment, naturally have a soul that suits the tastes of an evil god even more. Eating it is like a fruit platter, and the monkey is even less likely to object to Sharl taking advantage of such utterly worthless waste that neither benefits society nor creates any labor value.
amount……
I wonder if all the dream pupae in this multiverse have been hunted down after so much time has passed, though they're probably becoming endangered species soon.
Hopefully, the druids of the animal protection association won't cry themselves to death because of this.
——————————Divider Line——————————
The monkey earnestly explained the tragic pupae's plight to Tiamat, completely ignoring the horrified expression on Tiamat's face.
"So you should be glad you're a monster with five ugly heads!" the monkey said. "On your neck, yes, that's right, there's a mark at the base of each of your heads... that mark that looks like a black sun, that's the mark of that unreliable kid."
Seeing Tiamat completely dumbfounded upon discovering a black mark on her neck, the monkey sighed, "You've been targeted. Do you think he only glanced at you? Or do you think you can get rid of that kid by expending a lot of magic power, even at the cost of damaging your own foundation? How naive!"
The monkey shook his head, casually clenched his fist, and said to Tiamat in a serious tone, "Now, you either repent and become a dragon again, so I can still protect you from that kid's coming after you. Otherwise, after that kid has eaten all the Dream Pupae, it will be your turn!"
I've already modified 24 paragraphs, but for some reason, an extra bunch of random stuff has appeared? Shuke's server crashed again...
572. The Monkey's Persuasion (Part 2)
The heavy punches rained down like meteors, one after another, causing Tiamat to cough up blood repeatedly. Although she understood she was now in a dream dimension, that everything was illusion and delusion, it didn't mean she wouldn't feel pain. Moreover, the monkey's punches on Tiamat were more than just painful; they were excruciating, penetrating to the very marrow of her bones, piercing her very soul.
That crimson light, as red as blood and as powerful as a mighty force, repeatedly crushed Tiamat's surging divine power. Divine power shield? Utterly worthless, shattered into pieces with overwhelming force. Dragon scales? Idiot stuff. Physical and magical resistance? Against the monkey's twelve layers of internal energy combined in his powerful punches, they were utterly worthless.
In addition, a monkey the size of a normal human is just too agile, so agile that it's like a monkey. Well, it is a monkey, just an enhanced version of a red monkey.
It is obvious that Tiamat's massive size did not help in the slightest at this time. On the contrary, it hampered her movements and she was beaten so badly by the monkey that she vomited blood and was unable to take care of herself.
Attempting a crushing attack, the monkey dodged, then unleashed a barrage of bombardment punches on Tiamat, like a dense air-to-ground bombardment, tearing Tiamat's flesh and blood to shreds. Had Tiamat not been so resilient, the dragon beside her would have been blasted to smithereens by the monkey's chaotic punches.
Of course, given Tiamat's size, she was just a punching bag. Seeing that crushing her was useless, Tiamat launched a tail attack, a cleave slash aimed at the monkey. However, the next moment, the monkey retaliated with a ship-slicing sword strike from the opposite direction, giving Tiamat's tail a severe blow.
Amidst her wails, the idiotic mother dragon finally understood that in close combat, in this world, even a god-level monk could easily beat her to a pulp. Her massive size offered her no advantage other than increased durability.
However, transforming into human form is even more impossible. In his dragon form, he was taught to be a dragon by the monkey's fists. If he were to transform into his human form, the elf in his paper form would probably be slapped in the face by the monkey so badly that even the Father of Ten Thousand Dragons wouldn't recognize him.
However, as a god, Tiamat still possessed some skill. Although most of her divine power was spent on breaking through this dream dimension and escaping the dream world, she could still utilize other abilities.
A seemingly random and flawless teleportation created distance between Tiamat and the monkey, followed by a deluge of various spell-like abilities and divine magic, overwhelming the monkey. However, the monkey's performance once again astonished Tiamat. Elemental attacks were utterly ineffective against his indestructible body; mental attacks and various curses were instantly obliterated upon contact with the monkey's golden-red flames; and various spells and divine magic involving space and time were simply met with the monkey's bare fists, shattering space and severing time—a brutal display completely defying the rules of magic.
The situation became so dire that Tiamat was forced to temporarily withdraw a portion of her divine power to counter the monkey's relentless attacks. She unleashed her extraordinary divine power—Reality Alter—which, unrestrained by the rules of reality within this dream-dimensional world, amplified its power. Tiamat directly altered her surroundings, transforming a torrential downpour above into a bottomless abyss below.
With a flap of her wings, Tiamat soared into the sky, then used her divine power to control the thunder that crashed down upon the monkey.
Facing the countless bolts of lightning striking down from the sky, the monkey thought it was no big deal. Lightning was nothing special; it wasn't some high-level magic like the Five Elements Thunder Technique, the Nine Heavens Divine Thunder, or the Heavenly Punishment Thunder. It was just ordinary lightning, at most containing some divine power.
"Hey, monster! Your techniques, devoid of even the slightest essence of thunder magic, and failing to grasp the realm of rebirth born from destruction within lightning, dare to presume to deal with mere thunder and lightning? Wishful thinking!" Bathed in the sky's boundless lightning, the monkey roared defiantly, letting a vast ocean of thunder crash down upon him. Amidst the blazing white lightning, the monkey's golden, indestructible body dazzled onlookers; even a single hair on it blatantly displayed the embodiment of power.
The monkey let out a long howl, opened its mouth, and contracted its abdomen, sucking in countless bolts of lightning like a whale inhaling water. In no time, it had absorbed the entire sea of lightning... and even let out a burp.
This sight startled Tiamat, the mother dragon, who quickly flew even higher. This was no match at all! This monkey was practically unbeatable; at least for Tiamat, a weak deity, the monkey was blatantly unsolvable.
"Hey, monster! An eye for an eye! Take a move from me, Old Sun!" the monkey roared, assuming a horse stance, pulling his fist to his side, and twisting his entire body. A straight punch was launched towards Tiamat, who was flying in the air. "Take this from me, Old Sun! Military Path Killing Fist - Invincible Battleship Fist..." As the punch was thrown, a huge phantom of a steel structure appeared around him, carrying an unstoppable momentum that seemed to cleave through the waves, and charged straight into the sky.
With a deafening roar, an invisible fist force unleashed a terrifying storm, sending Tiamat flying. The force itself, like a blade, slashed across Tiamat's body, leaving wound after wound. However, the greatest destructive power didn't strike Tiamat directly; instead, it shattered the engulfing thunder and rain.
