Having had his previous experiences, Ciel knew that every star in this sky represented a real world. Some stars were incredibly bright, while others were almost completely dim... The HP world Ciel had visited before was on a slightly dimmer star, and the Tinderbox fairytale world was even dimmer than the HP world.

His gaze searched among the stars; the brighter the star, the higher the level of magic it inhabited, and the more powerful the beings within. This posed a certain danger to Sharl. Therefore, he must be cautious and assess his own capabilities when choosing a world to visit.

Skyrim is the northernmost province of Tamriel, a cold and mountainous region also known as the "Old Kingdom," "Mereth," or "Fatherland." Many past wars have ravaged its original appearance and ruins (or destroyed its original appearance and created many ruins). The reigning emperor was Emperor Titus Mead II. Although he shared the same name as the warlord who founded the new empire, this emperor was not a warlord like his ancestor 200 years earlier. Moreover, the so-called Mead dynasty was not very convincing from the beginning and its foundation was far weaker than that of the former.

Thus, the Empire and a land called "Ancestor Divine Land" were formed by Summerset Island.

A political alliance was formed between the Altmer high elves of Isle and the Bosmer wood elves of Valenwood. This sparked a world war, and ultimately, the Empire, in order to maintain its rule, chose to compromise with the "Ancestors" and signed the Platinum Pact.

Provinces like Hammerfell, home to the Redguards, began to rebel and seek independence.

In Skyrim, the homeland of the Nords, the act of stripping Talos of his divine status greatly angered the Nords. Some racist elements, such as Ulfric Stormcloak, the lord of Windhelm, killed the High King of Skyrim, igniting a civil war in Skyrim in an attempt to break free from the Empire's rule.

The shadow of civil war tore apart the nine territories of Skyrim until the Empire dispatched the veteran general Tullius, who had participated in the World War, to Skyrim to quell the rebellion.
