"I'll give you a anonymous credit card after this is over! You can spend it however you want..." Tony rolled his eyes and took the arc reactor that Ciel handed him. "Also, how's Pepe? Damn Obadiah, fuck!"
“Your secretary is currently with an agent named Coulson, apparently from some Homeland Security or Strategic Services agency, oh, now called S.H.I.E.L.D.,” Charles replied. “They found evidence of his crimes on Obadiah’s computer and are on their way to the company to arrest him.”
"Damn it! He took my Arc Reactor! And he even created an Iron Man suit just like mine..." Tony said, his face grim. "No, I have to get there. Jarvis, get the Mark III ready..."
The silent AI responded, "YES, sir..."
"Hey buddy, help me put this thing in, and remember to connect the wires!"
“OK!” Charles smiled, then snapped his fingers. To Tony’s astonishment, the small arc reactor he was holding suddenly flew up and embedded itself directly into the machine on his chest, automatically docking with it.
"Magic is really convenient!" Tony said with a wry smile. "Looks like I'll need to find some more time to study the 'basic' magic you gave me!"
“If you really don’t have the talent, then forget it!” Charles shook his head. “You might as well try to create an intelligent control system that can launch the armor to you anytime, anywhere, whenever you want!”
“Great idea, buddy!” Tony’s eyes lit up. “But I’ll give it a try after I’ve dealt with Obadiah!”
"Need any help? Of course, you'll need to pay overtime!"
“No! Listen, I won’t allow you to interfere. Obadiah is mine, and he can only die by my hand. No one but me is allowed to lay a finger on him. I will make him pay the price myself.” Tony said to Ciel as he walked toward the armored figures. “Except for protecting Pepe, don’t interfere in my fight with Obadiah unless it’s absolutely necessary.”
“Sure! But it seems like there’s not enough time, and…” Ciel glanced at the energy source on Tony’s chest and said, “How much energy does this thing have left?”
“I don’t know, Jarvis, help me calculate it!” Tony said, standing on the platform, leaning against the automated mechanical armor clad in steel armor.
"50% remains, sir. If you continue to use it, the energy will continue to decrease. This is not the energy supply designed for the Mark III, and it cannot withstand the consumption of the latest modified armor!"
“That’s enough!” Tony, now fully dressed, turned his gaze to Ciel, who stood to the side with his arms crossed. “Could you take me with you, that kind of magic that lets you teleport to other places?”
"It's possible, but is your armor strong enough to withstand the pressure?"
"I can reach speeds of Mach 3!"
"Alright, let's go..." Watching Iron Man, fully dressed, dismount, Ciel clapped his hands. "By the way, Jarvis, be careful. After all, I'm not sure if Apparition will have any impact on mechanical intelligence!"
"Yes, Mr. Gret, thank you for reminding me!"
"Then, target Northrend!" Black smoke spread out, enveloping Tony and Shire, who had transformed into Iron Man. Then, in the next moment, the two disappeared from the underground laboratory of the villa.

Meanwhile, after seizing the latest miniature arc reactor from Tony's chest, Obadiah abandoned Tony to await his death and returned to the Stark Industries' military factory. There, the massive steel armor designed for him, named 'Iron Monger,' was placed within the factory; now, only the final step remained: providing a powerful enough energy source to power this weapon of war.
And this energy source is now in Obadiah's hands.
He gently placed the arc reactor into the core drive unit on the Iron Monger's chest. Powerful energy began to infuse the giant armor with new life, giving it a life-giving source. Watching the machine light up, Obadiah laughed. This epoch-making weapon of war was now in his hands. Soon, there would be more of these weapons—ten, a hundred, a thousand… forming a legion, a legion that would control the future of world warfare. And he would become the god of war of the world, the uncrowned king.
Just then, the surveillance system issued an alarm. A group of men dressed in black, exuding a dangerous aura, entered Sector 16, the military factory where Tony was now located, led by Tony's secretary.
Clearly, the visitor has ill intentions.
"The future belongs to me!" Muttering these words, Obadiah's face contorted with rage as he walked towards the Iron Monger armor, took his seat in the cockpit, and planned to use this most powerful weapon to kill all who came. Only then would the military and political bigwigs see the armor's war potential, and enough people would stand by his side to clear any obstacles in his path. "And I will rule the world! I will be the future King of the World!"
Five Watches... It's exhausting! Next week, updates will return to normal. I really can't keep up anymore, and I'll probably have to work overtime again next weekend!
163. Iron Man Storyline (Part 2)
Pepe and Coulson, along with the dozen or so S.H.I.E.L.D. agents behind them, entered the armory unaware that Obadiah had completed the creation of the massive Iron Monger armor and was preparing to use this weapon of war to wipe them all out. If they had known, Coulson wouldn't have brought only a dozen men, armed with pistols, to face an invulnerable steel giant. Unaware of this, the group, relying on the information and intelligence Pepe possessed, confirmed that Obadiah's biggest secret was hidden in this place, and began entering the armory. If all went well, with him caught red-handed, Obadiah would have no chance of redemption. Similarly, if Obadiah was indeed there, they could save time and capture him all in one fell swoop.
The premise is that nothing unexpected happens.
This was Pepe's plan, and also Coulson's idea. Especially for Coulson, who knew more or less what his boss was thinking, he needed to help Pepe gain Tony Stark's favor. It was a deal: Coulson would help Pepe take down Obadiah, thereby gaining Tony's trust to facilitate his boss's subsequent actions.
However, now, besides the genius inventor, Coulson was more concerned about Shire. His ability to instantly leave his current location via the black mist, likely transporting him to California in an instant, was what truly caught Coulson's attention. Although he didn't know if Shire was a mutant, this ability to come and go so easily was enough to attract anyone's attention. While S.H.I.E.L.D. possessed a considerable amount of advanced technology, even including various swords with magical abilities and items left behind by alien visitors—the world's largest intelligence organization—they didn't have the kind of technology that could interfere with space or even create a spatial blockade.
In other words, if Ciel wanted to, he could go anywhere in the world. This ability was enough to put him on S.H.I.E.L.D.'s blacklist. Although it was unknown whether the anomalous individual named Ciel was dangerous, compared to the other big green guy, Ciel, who had not yet shown any dangerous intentions, might still be someone worth talking to.
Of course, it's too early to say all that. After all, when it comes to negotiating with superpowered individuals hidden all over the world who might suddenly appear from any corner, S.H.I.E.L.D. lacks a sufficiently strong deterrent. For example, Tony Stark's Iron Man armor...
Therefore, the most urgent task is to get rid of Obadiah!
However, they seemed to have arrived too late. The empty military factory was devoid of anything—neither the researchers in white coats nor the massive armor shown in the documents. This made Coulson wonder if they had come to the wrong place. He dispersed his men and meticulously examined the dimly lit surroundings. Soon, he saw the original armor created by Tony Stark, that massive machine almost entirely pieced together from scrap metal, along with some sparking cables. These sights made his heart race, a sense of danger washing over him, like when he was discovered during a covert mission and had to charge out amidst a hail of bullets.
"Everyone, be careful of those dark corners. Stay alert and be ready to call for backup!" Coulson shouted. "Watch out for the enemy, he's here..." Unfortunately, they were too late. In the darkness, two white lights appeared, and a gigantic figure emerged before them in the dim light. It was the same style as the armor Tony had created, but even larger and more intimidating. This giant exuded oppressive power; every part of it was a killing machine.
The glint of bullets flashed in the dim light, and the crackling of gunfire echoed through the military factory. Upon spotting the giant, the agents and Coulson immediately launched an attack, bullets raining down on its steel body. But it seemed to be of no use! The steel giant completely ignored the bullets!
Coulson pulled Pepe, who was still in a daze, away quickly, while the other agents relentlessly attacked the Iron Giant, trying to cover their escape.
A series of machine gun shots rang out. The heavy machine gun on the right hand of the Iron Giant opened fire, sweeping across Coulson and Pepe's escape route and forcing the two to stop.
"A bunch of lowly rats, where do you think you're going?" Obadiah said arrogantly, sitting in the steel giant and shouting through a megaphone.
"Mr. Obadiah Stane!" Faced with this situation where there was no way to advance or retreat, Coulson said to Obadiah, "Can I suspect that you are involved in the manufacture of weapons of mass destruction that threaten national security?"
“I know you!” Obadiah’s voice was cold. “After Tony was kidnapped by those bastards, you came to question me and even suspected me. Even after Tony came back, you continued to investigate me in secret!”
“So, Mr. Stan, you're admitting you did commit murder!” Coulson pulled Pepe behind him, staring intently at the steel giant before him, his palms sweating with tension. “Then, may I arrest you?”
“This is a pointless delay!” Obadiah laughed. “You think Tony is still alive? No! He’s dead! The energy driving this machine right now is what I ripped from his chest myself. Soon, I’ll send you all to reunite with that 'genius'!”
Now! Go to hell!
Boom! Just as the steel giant was about to launch its attack, a deafening roar rang out, and a golden-red figure burst through the wall and pounced on the steel giant. The enormous impact slammed the steel giant heavily against the wall.
Pepe exclaimed in surprise, "Tony..."
Obadiah: "This is impossible!!!"
"Shire! Take everyone away!" Tony Stark shouted from his gold and red armor, and then the two Iron Men began to fight.
“It’s time to go! Miss Potts…” Charles appeared out of nowhere, his dark gold eyes sweeping over the people around him. “And Coulson and all the agents!”
"Thanks for Mr. Gret's support!" Coulson breathed a sigh of relief as he watched Iron Man begin to wrestle. "Otherwise... watch out!!!" Iron Monger, who was wrestling with Tony, punched Tony away and then pointed his right hand at Shire. The next moment, the roar of machine guns rang out, and heavy firepower strong enough to tear apart a combat helicopter swept towards everyone.
Snapped! ! !
A snap of the fingers rang out, and then the surrounding air rippled. The incoming bullets blasted against an invisible barrier, having no effect whatsoever.
"What is this?" Obadiah stared in astonishment as his attack had no effect whatsoever, and stood frozen in place for a moment.
"Jarvis, focus your energy on your chest!!" Tony shouted as he got up from the ground. The next moment, a laser beam shot out from the chest of his Iron Man armor, blasting Iron Monger away. However, Obadiah, recovering from the initial impact, quickly fired a small missile at Tony.
Boom!
Explosions and flashes of light rang out, and shockwaves, carrying flying rocks and other debris, scattered in all directions. However, the barrier created by Charles remained sturdy and stopped everything!
"Looks like we'll have something to talk about later!" Coulson said, watching Sharl casually create a barrier to intercept all the attacks. He then immediately ordered everyone to retreat.
I might have to work overtime this week, since there's only a short time left until the New Year. So, this week's updates will go back to normal. I need to stockpile chapters for a big New Year's release!
164. Iron Man Storyline (Final)
Relying solely on small-caliber pistols was insufficient for this clash of steel. Coulson, fully aware of this, led Pepe and all the agents who had entered the factory in an emergency evacuation, leaving the two Iron Men locked in a fierce battle. However, Charles was not in this situation. If he wanted, he could easily take down the seemingly useless Iron Monger, but conserving his energy was preferable.
However, the idea that it was all show and no substance was merely Charles's opinion. For mortals like Coulson and Pepe, getting involved would mean certain death. So, with a keen eye, he left the armory and went outside, leaving the thunderous sounds of battle beneath his feet!
"Looks like we're safe for now!" Coulson said with a sigh of relief after everyone was on the ground. "Go contact the air traffic control and the higher-ups, and contact the police to disperse the civilians in the area!"
"Is Tony alright, Mr. Gret?" Pepe asked Charles anxiously from the other side.
"Don't worry, don't worry! In terms of design, Tony's armor is of better quality. The only thing that can limit him is the energy!" Charles replied easily. "He's currently using the first version of the Arc Reactor, not the newer one, so he'll be at a disadvantage in terms of energy... But don't worry, if it really comes to a last resort, I'll personally rescue Tony!"
"Can you tell me where you're from?" After assigning tasks to his subordinates, Coulson approached and asked, "How are those barriers that can isolate attacks made? Superpowers or some kind of technology...?"
“That was just a trivial little spell!” Charles tugged at his collar and replied. “Let me introduce myself, my name is Charles Grete, a wizard as you Midgardians call him!”
"Huh?!" Coulson looked at Shire with a bewildered expression. "...Um, okay, we can talk about wizards later. Anyway, this world already has mutants, and now there are two Iron Men, so it's not surprising that something else might appear."
"So, are you ready to disperse them?" Ignoring Coulson, Charles looked at the ground. "They're about to come out... they're about to fight!"
Boom! A section of the ground not far away suddenly cracked open, the concrete shattering into pieces. Then, a gigantic figure burst forth from beneath the ground—it was Iron Monger. Beneath Iron Monger was a suit of gold and red steel armor. Using kinetic energy, Tony pushed Iron Monger, smashing through layers of ground, and emerged from underground onto the surface.
"Looks like you'll have to stay further away!" Looking at the two Iron Men bursting from the ground, Charles said to Coulson and Pepe, "It would be best if we could find cover!"
“There’s no cover around here!” Coulson said helplessly after glancing around. “It seems we can only hope that Mr. Stark can triumph over evil like Captain America.”
"But 'justice' is in a really bad situation right now!"
……
Tony wasn't feeling well at all. Frankly, his side was better in terms of design and quality. However, Obadiah's side was much larger, less agile but incredibly tough. Furthermore, the Iron Monger was powered by a state-of-the-art miniature arc reactor, while Tony's own was a rudimentary product he'd created in the cave, far inferior in both output and energy reserves. Adding to this, his newly modified suit didn't have much energy left for attack; relying solely on his hand cannons and the energy-focused laser in his chest would quickly deplete its power.
The longer it drags on, the more dangerous it becomes for him.
Tony, momentarily stunned, was seized by Obadiah, who grabbed him and hurled him towards the ground with the force of tens of tons. In the heat of the moment, Tony, who had just levitated to offset the force, hadn't even had time to react before Obadiah, who had also activated his thrusters, swooped down and used the momentum and force to punch him, sending him crashing to the ground with a thunderous boom, creating a crater.
"I will replace you and become the new head of Stark Industries!" Obadiah grabbed Tony and punched his armor repeatedly, spewing insults as he said, "And you will be a relic of the past!"
"I don't believe a bald, overweight old man can represent a new era!" Tony retorted, struggling to keep up the fight. "You're so old, do you think your penis can stay erect for another twenty or thirty years?!"
"Nonsense won't change your fate, Tony, just like your father!" He slammed Tony to the ground and tossed him aside. "You have no idea what the future is. This world will be mine!!!"
“No matter what kind of villainous boss, they all have a grand ambition, and those who die the fastest almost always have the ambition to conquer the world!” Without the two noticing, Charles appeared beside Tony, who was lying on the ground. “Also, are you alright? As your personal physician, I suggest you conserve your energy, otherwise, you won't even be able to keep up with the Iron Man armor, let alone save your life! Don't think healing magic is a panacea! By the way, do you need any help?”
"...I don't think I can handle this by myself!" Tony looked up at Ciel and said, "But, is it a paid service? Can I get a discount?"
“No!” Charles shrugged.
"Arrogant and ignorant brat!" Obadiah shouted, left standing aside. "You think you can fight me? Die with Tony!" With that, he steered the Iron Lord towards Ciel, the accelerators under his feet propelling him forward in an instant, and he swung his massive steel arm, slamming it down on Ciel with the force of tens of tons.
"careful!"
bump!!!
A hand, much smaller than the Iron Monger, gripped its fist. The force of tens of tons found its target, causing the ground beneath its feet to crack and sink several inches.
"Impossible!" Obadiah shouted in disbelief. The Iron Monger's powerful and swift movements stopped instantly. No matter how Obadiah manipulated it, the Iron Monger could not advance an inch.
"Is this magic too?" Tony, watching from below, saw it clearly. When Ciel caught Iron Monger's fist with his palm, countless shimmering, circuit board-like patterns appeared on his exposed skin. Through scanning of the armor and helmet, and analysis by Jarvis, those circuit board-like patterns formed an undecipherable force field on his hand, completely neutralizing the force of tens of tons.
"Physical enhancement! A little more advanced than what I gave you!" With one hand supporting Iron Monger's fist, Ciel said to Tony with a gentle breeze. "Well then, it's my turn!!"
"Die!" Obadiah, sensing something was wrong, didn't have time to think about why Ciel could neutralize tens of tons of force with his physical body. He quickly manipulated his other arm to strike Ciel.
A flash of cold light, and a blue greatsword appeared in Ciel's right hand. With a swift movement, the sword sliced the Iron Monger's arm, which had been slamming down, into several pieces. The rocket launcher in that hand was also severed by Ciel.
A horrified Obadiah quickly activated his flight device and soared into the sky. Someone who could withstand the impact of steel with his bare body and create a lightsaber to cut through hard alloys was beyond his comprehension, making the world suddenly seem unfamiliar.
bump!!!!
Obadiah, who had taken to the sky, suddenly stumbled. Iron Monger's last arm suddenly exploded, and a dark purple light shot out from the ground, shattering the arm.
"Now, is it fair?" After severing Iron Monger's last hand and rendering him incapable of resistance with a single Shadow Arrow, Ciel said to Tony, "Remember to add more money!!!"
