I've rehearsed the lines countless times in my head. Talking to humans is something from 100,000 years ago.

Clearing his throat, it was undeniable that Mikayi was still slightly nervous at this moment.

Mikayi stood on the ground in front of the human girl: "Excuse me..." Let's use polite language for now, Mikayi thought to himself, "Where is this place...?"

Instead of encountering a boulder in her despair, Ariel was met with an unfamiliar voice, and she looked up in surprise.

The first thing that catches the eye is a man with black hair and black eyes. Although he is called a man, he looks more like a teenager.

Ariel didn't think much of it and answered truthfully, "This is the border between the Lyon Empire and the Ais Federation... Are you... are you lost?"

Getting lost on the battlefield? That's highly unlikely!

"Princess Ariel!" Zera stepped forward, shielding Princess Ariel behind her. "I saw him float down from the sky. Be careful, he might be an assassin sent by Lyon!"

Mikayi's lips twitched; he was helpless at being mistaken for an assassin. "Have you ever seen an assassin float down from the sky in broad daylight?" he asked.

"Are you one of Lyon's people?" Ariel wouldn't make a hasty decision. She stood up from the ground and stared straight at the stranger.

“No, I am Jia… I live in a very far place, I am a traveler,” Mikai replied.

Ariel looked at him suspiciously. Although the man's words were full of holes, his eyes told Ariel that he was not lying.

Lying is a skill demons excel at, and Demon King Mikayi is naturally adept at it perfectly.

"Then you know magic? Is it wind magic?" Ariel asked.

"Yes, learn a little bit of it."

"A mere wisp of wind magic. It only allows it to flit about aimlessly in mid-air; I'm afraid it's laughable to this archmage." Mikayi could tell from the fluctuations in magic power that the princess's mage guards were slightly stronger; it was quite normal for them to be idolized by humans and become archmages.

Mikael was right after all; the doubt in Ariel's eyes vanished.

Princess Ariel believed it, but that didn't mean Zera would. Zera scoffed, "Do you know what that dark cloud that appeared with you is?"

“Oh, that’s my land…” Mikayi’s tone suddenly took a 360-degree turn, “That should be dark clouds.” Mikayi said without blushing but with a hint of displeasure.

Well, if you just say something like hell, it will scare them.

"I sensed it was going to rain while we were flying, but the dark clouds have been gathering for a while and it hasn't rained yet. It'll probably disperse soon," Mikayi added, trying to clear his name.

As he finished speaking, a barely perceptible crimson glint appeared in his eyes. He secretly used magic to manipulate the hellish realm above the clouds, causing it to drift away from this place.

Before anyone could respond, a whooshing sound cut through the air.

Another ignited boulder was thrown over, and Mikayi prepared to reach out and catch it.

The magical shield he had created earlier had expired and disappeared, and Zera didn't have time to separate Princess Ariel and the stranger. He pushed them apart, covered himself with magic for a simple defense, and Zera used his physical body to catch the huge rock.

Despite being a revered archmage, Zera survived the blow. Unlike most who would be smashed to pieces, she was still crippled from the waist down by the boulder. Her lower body was shattered. Zera's eyes dimmed, and her lower body was a bloody mess.

"Zera!!" Ariel cried out and lunged toward the wounded Zera.

Mikael grabbed Ariel. Perhaps it was an instinct, a subconscious desire in him, that prevented the girl from touching that pool of flesh and blood.

The human princess was pulled into Mikayi's arms, the faint, sweet scent of the girl's hair wafting to his nose. As if something long dormant had been stirred, Mikayi's body stiffened for a moment.

It's been so long since I've seen a living human girl...

However, now is not the time to think about such things.

The tragic scene of blood and flesh splattering everywhere was right before his eyes, and a sorrowful expression appeared on Mikayi's face—of course, these expressions were all feigned.

This mage is beyond saving. Mikayi sighed inwardly. He'd only been in this other world for half an hour; it wasn't right to give him such a bloody scene already.

Ariel cried so hard she couldn't breathe, coughed violently, and murmured Zera's name.

Sigh, I guess I should help him out a little. Perhaps moved by the girl's feelings, the number one demon king of the Garan Continent actually agreed to save this human.

With a few subtle swipes of his index finger, magical elements converged on Zera, plugging the ruptured blood vessels. The bleeding was temporarily stopped.

Mikayi didn't bother asking what those green monsters were, nor did he care whether they were enemies. Anyone with a brain could judge the situation.

Since he was already here, it wouldn't hurt to help the princess with a small favor, especially since he needed to ask her about this world.

Connecting to the telepathic magic, countless neural pathways appeared in Mikayi's mind, and he selected the person he wanted to contact.

"Rennie."

"Demon King, please give the order."

Are you in hell?

"Yes, we await your command, Your Majesty. Do you wish to conquer this world, or destroy it?"

Mikayi selectively ignored the second half of Reni's sentence, seemingly intending to teach his subordinates a lesson: other worlds are not for conquering but for protecting.

"Can you see the green creatures on the mountaintop below the clouds?"

"Is the king referring to those frail green worms?"

"Kill them and the manipulators behind them."

"Operation received."

The jet-black six wings unfurled in the ninth level of hell, and a smile appeared on its youthful face.

Receiving the order to kill filled Renee with an irrepressible excitement.

004 Annihilate in one fell swoop

The massive stones that were being hurled from the heights suddenly stopped, and the imperial army vanished without a trace.

"Your Highness!" The dragon knight, riding a dragon, landed beside Ariel, kneeling on one knee. The dragon, which should have been quietly behind the knight, cried out in surprise and unusually tried to escape from the knight's reins.

Thinking his comrade had been traumatized on the battlefield, the dragon knight quickly stroked the dragon's head, trying to comfort him.

The dragon's body was trembling; faced with the terrifying aura emanating from Mikayi, it was on the verge of collapse.

Mikayi frowned and quietly took two steps away. Little one, don't overdo it...

Speaking of dragons' intuition, it's truly terrifying. He was clearly trying very hard to control his magic power.

"Zera, save Zera first!" Ariel grabbed Mikael's hand and led the landing dragon knights to push the boulder aside.

Mikayi simply placed his palm lightly on the boulder, pretending to help. He dared not exert any force, otherwise the stone would shatter into dust under the horrified gazes of the crowd.

However, the hand that Ariel had just held still retained some warmth. Mikayi hadn't felt this comfortable human body temperature for a long time.

I haven't experienced it yet.

The arriving support chaplains had already gathered around to stop Zera's bleeding. They were all surprised to find that Zera's wounds had scabbed over; they had never encountered such a powerful healing ability before.

Although Zera's face was deathly pale, she was indeed breathing. Ariel's anxious heart calmed down slightly.

“Your Highness,” the dragon knight in charge of reconnaissance finally managed to interject, “the Imperial army… is gone…”

"What do you mean 'gone'?" Ariel asked, confused.

The dragon knight shook his head, trying hard to recall what he had just witnessed: "Something wiped out the Imperial Army in one fell swoop. We couldn't see what it looked like."

The dragon knights exchanged bewildered glances, shuddering at the memory of what they had just witnessed.

Jet-black feathers, countless wings, and a pool of flowing blood at its feet.

"Is it a monster?" Ariel asked. The Lyon Empire has been arrogant and domineering in recent years, making many enemies, so it's normal that it has angered some powerful demons.

The dragon knight nodded almost without hesitation, as the most accurate conclusion at the moment was that the other party was a monster. However, they had never seen that kind of monster before.

"Rene's already taken care of things..." Mikayi sighed inwardly. Rene's efficiency was always so fast; in comparison, he himself hadn't even gathered a single bit of information about the other world.

"The King of Hell."

Hmm? This is the first time Renee has contacted me using neuro-magic. Is she here to report on a mission?

"Little Renee, you speak." Mikayi was in a good mood. He was quite satisfied with this other world. Apart from being a bit weak, he was very pleased with the abundance of species and resources.

Even Mikael himself probably didn't realize that the "Xiao" he unintentionally added before Renee's name made Renee's cheeks turn red instantly.

Her voice was strained; Renee's pronunciation was clearly tense.

"Well... just now when I was killing the caterpillars, I picked up... picked up one of their army's leaders..."

The other person's speech became hesitant and stammering. If it weren't for the familiar magical element he sensed from the neuro-magic, Mikayi would have doubted whether this tone of voice was actually coming from one of his six-winged fallen angels.

Although Renee is somewhat cute in appearance, she usually speaks very seriously, and besides, she's a ruthless, killing-oriented six-winged angel. Therefore, such a cute tone is completely incompatible with her!

Mikael once again doubted that the person he was talking to was not Renee at all, but the familiar magic element could only belong to Renee.

"Ahhh, it's alright, it's alright, Your Majesty!"

"What exactly happened?" Mikayi asked, completely bewildered.

"The leader I captured alive is dead... He was just accidentally flapped by my wing just now..."

Rene spoke cautiously. Her original intention was to capture someone alive so the Demon King could better gather information about the other world, but she had impulsively slapped herself, only to find the opponent so easily defeated, collapsing at the slightest touch. Rene was filled with endless regret…

She got so worked up just because the Demon King added the word 'little' before her name! How embarrassing!

So, does adding the word 'little' make it a nickname? Or maybe it's... a term of endearment?!

The six-winged fallen angel, residing in the ninth level of hell, frantically flapped his wings, rushing around the vast hall like a headless fly.

She covered her cheeks with her small hands, her shyness seemingly coming from nowhere.

what--

When Renee's gaze accidentally fell upon the Demon King's throne, she screamed and rushed out.

005 The Demon King is Picked Up and Taken Home by the Princess

The conversation with Reni was suddenly cut off. In the past, severing the connection with the Demon King without warning would certainly have been punished by him. However, Mikayi was in a good mood and didn't bother with the details.

Hell controlled the distance from this battlefield, and light once again fell on the ground, illuminating the surroundings.

"Well, we can call it a victory..." Ariel looked at the chaotic battlefield. The enemy had been inexplicably annihilated, and the Ais Federation had really hit the jackpot.

Unwilling to linger on the battlefield for even a second longer, Ariel ordered the remaining troops to regroup and set off for home.

Zera was placed on the broad back of a giant dragon. Rather than causing secondary damage from the bumpy road, it was better to let Zera return from the air.

Ariel extended a hand to Mikael: "Want to come to Ais with my troops?"

At the very least, we can't leave this lost boy alone on this battlefield filled with the stench of blood.

Mikayi nodded repeatedly. "Of course I'll go! He still needs to gather information about the other world. At the very least, I should show him a map."

Mikayi was originally assigned to ride the same transport-class dragon as Zera, but when the dragon saw Mikayi and tried to run away in fear, Mikayi gave up his plan to ride the dragon.
