“Okay.” Carol shifted her gaze from Duke to the other two people on either side of him. “Where are Amber and Cecil?”

Amber pouted, while Cecil tilted his head, looking somewhat bewildered.

"I don't care... Ouch, Amber, why did you kick me?"

“You kicked the wrong person.” Amber retracted her leg expressionlessly, then looked at Carol with a competitive spirit and said with a forced smile:

"welcome."

"Great."

Carol, however, laughed heartily.

Looking at the witches in front of him, Duke's lips twitched slightly. Even though he had personally formatted the witch conquest system, why did he feel like he was getting closer to a battleground?

Heaven knows what will happen on this journey to the Elf Kingdom.

But... whatever.

The story of the floating city has come to an end.

It's over! Hooray for the finale!

It was supposed to end in July, but I never expected it to drag on until the last hour of the last day of July.

But it finally ended in July... What a close call, the man's promise almost couldn't be kept.

All I can say is that after experiencing a series of unexpected events such as tenosynovitis, cervical spondylosis, back pain, keyboard failure, overtime work, and family gatherings, it is truly gratifying that this book was able to be completed this month.

This is my first time completing a million-word novel on Maozhan, so I finally have the right to legitimately postpone it (not really).

Okay, let me just say a few words.

This book performed poorly, at least it didn't live up to my expectations before it was released. I won't summarize the reasons, but there were some flaws that I didn't realize at the time. I can only say that I was too hasty in writing my first harem novel. Next time, I'll stick to writing my favorite single-female-lead or twisted romantic conflicts.

Originally, with this kind of performance, I planned to finish after 400,000 to 500,000 words, simply concluding the story with a complete ending. The reason Talia suffered so much in the Sleeping Beauty arc was precisely because of this. At the time, I intended to finish quickly, so Talia was initially positioned as the final boss. And this issue with Talia's positioning and character development did indeed diminish the overall reader experience of that volume.

As for why it wasn't finished early, it was mainly because some unexpected things happened at home (readers who have followed along should know what happened). At the time, in order to adjust my mood, I just kept writing.

To be honest, I have many complaints about this book. There are many things I wanted to write but didn't, and many parts didn't meet my original expectations. For example, the grades, and the somewhat rushed final volume made to fill in plot holes.

However, I'm quite satisfied with the character development and growth of the two female protagonists, Amber and Cecil. Especially Guangbao; while there were some dissatisfactions with Cecil's character during the free chapters, I think readers who have followed the story to the end shouldn't dislike this goofy character, right?

I'm working on a new book and I'll try to release it in August. This time, I'll aim to finish it before the 31st (laughs).
