Pokémon from Galar

Energy continuously condensed at the core, constantly adapting to and changing the Pokémon's body. The energy that had been distributed throughout the limbs and bones was gradually gathered together.
It's unclear exactly how much time passed, but the core of the energy seemed to have finally reached its limit. The dominant aura surrounding the Pokémon instantly dissipated, and the core abruptly paused. Just as the external instruments detected this data, which resembled a critical point,
The core suddenly erupted, and energy rapidly spread to every cell in the body, forming a complex flow network that restored the stable cycle of absorption and release that it had initially established. The domineering aura finally took shape!
Bal and Ichigo opened their eyes the instant the domineering aura was released. The environment was unfamiliar, but through the glass, they could see Mari sitting in a wheelchair on the other side.
"Roar... (On your body...?)"
"Ee... (What's going on with you...?)"
Balu and Ichigo straightened up, glanced at the IV lines still attached to their bodies, and then looked at each other. They both saw the familiar aura surrounding each other, and the surprise and confusion in each other's eyes.
Having dealt with it before, they could naturally sense what this aura was, but what puzzled them was why it was appearing on them.
Confused, the two Pokémon simultaneously turned their gaze to Marie on the other side.
Meanwhile, Mari, pushed by Su-chan, opened the door to the cubicle and came to Balu and I-chan's side.
"Sha—! (Sister Yi! You're finally awake!)"
Before she could even speak, Si-chan teleported in front of I-chan and, to I-chan's surprise, pulled her into her arms.
"Ee...?? (Are you Su-chan?? You've evolved?)"
Mary smiled happily, looked up into Balu's eyes, and then released Xiao Zuo and Xiao You, who had been listless lately, and put them back in their old positions on Balu's head.
"Thank you for your hard work, Pazu and Ichi-chan."
Balu grinned, revealing a smile that wasn't exactly flattering.
"Hooray~ (I'm glad you're all alright.)"
"Eek~ (As long as I survive.)"
As if she had resigned herself to her fate, Ichigo, held in Suzu's arms, looked at Mari, who had no intention of resentful, with a hint of reproach, though her tone remained gentle.
P.S.: Without time to post, I have no motivation to write...
Chapter 145 Metamorphosis
After spending another night in the hospital, Mary finally obtained Joey's discharge permission with Meiyue's help. Having nowhere else to go, Mary was even taken to Meiyue's home.
A detached wooden house located on the coast of Mela Mela Island.
Yes... When Mari followed Mizuki to her house, she immediately recognized that the house was exactly the same as her residence in Alola in that world, both in terms of address and house design.
"What's wrong, Mary?"
Just as Miyuki was about to lead Mary into the house, she turned around and saw Mary staring blankly at her house.
"No... Actually, in my own world, I also live in this place..."
"Wow—really?! That's such a coincidence! Hahaha~"
"Probably. My place was lent to me by Dr. Kukui."
"Hahaha~ My family was also chosen with Dr. Kukui's help, no wonder we're the same."
Mizuki smiled happily, feeling a strange connection with Mari in this seemingly insignificant little thing.
Stepping inside, the interior decoration and layout were completely different, but there was no one else there; it seemed that Meiyue's parents were not there.
"My parents both work at the Pokémon League and won't be back until later, but I've already told them so, so don't worry."
After pouring Mary a glass of freshly squeezed juice, Meiyue waved and found an empty room on the first floor. This was mainly because Mary's legs were not very mobile; otherwise, Meiyue would definitely have let Mary stay in the room next to hers.
Sis put down Mary's backpack, thus completing the task of packing. The change of clothes were in the house in another world. The clothes Mary was wearing now were the same ones she wore when she went to Ether Paradise.
I was wearing a hospital gown at the Pokémon Center the other day.
"Let's rest for a while, and then I'll take you shopping. We need to buy some clothes to change into and some daily necessities."
Mizuki naturally noticed Marie's situation and took the initiative to extend an invitation. Marie also urgently needed a batch of berries to make Power Cubes. Without the Pokémon Center, Marie couldn't make such nutritious meals and could only continue to supplement her diet with Power Cubes.
"Well, I can actually go by myself. After all, this is still Alola."
Mary felt a little embarrassed. She had troubled Meiyue to stay by her side for the past few days and had received too many favors, so she felt somewhat guilty.
"Hmm... I don't need to worry about your safety with Draco and Umbreon."
Mizuki was quite impressed with the Pokémon that Marie had. She spent the whole day at the Pokémon Center yesterday, naturally taking the opportunity to give Palmon and Eevee a thorough test.
With the domineering aura turned off, all abilities were significantly enhanced, clearly indicating that this ordeal served as a whetstone.
After activating their aura, their overall strength was directly elevated to a higher level, and this boost was very stable. According to Balu and Ichigo, although maintaining the Overlord Aura felt like it consumed physical strength, they did not feel any obvious physical burden.
In other words, the boost from Dominance Aura doesn't place an extra burden on a Pokémon's body like the temporary boost from using special moves. This means that Dominance Aura is a permanent ability boost.
This was especially evident in Balu, who relied on high attack and high speed. Both the power of his moves and his extreme speed were like a normalized form of power, as if the amplification from the double Dragon Dance had been turned into a constant force.
Mizuki naturally observed these tests. In her opinion, Palmon and Eevee's strength, when activated with their Overlord Aura, was not much weaker than her main Pokémon.
So Mizuki wasn't as worried about Mari's safety as before, and after thinking about it, she agreed to Mari's request.
"Then I'll cook at home. Mary, remember to come back early."
Mary smiled and nodded, not wanting to refuse Meiyue's kind offer.
"Thank you, I'll be going now."
Be careful on the road!
"I will."
Sis-chan slowly pushed Mari away from Mizuki's house. The market was still some distance away, and although she usually disliked it, today was a good opportunity for a walk.
They casually released everyone, but at this time, Baloo and Ichigo still obediently restrained their auras, otherwise it would be too conspicuous to take two Totem Pokémon out on the street.
Little Chick spread its wings and flew away, while Little Mo happily sat on Balu's head, enjoying the breeze and sunshine with Little Sao and Little Yu.
Yi-chan walked beside Mary's wheelchair, turning her head to look at Mary being pushed forward by Si-chan. She felt a little down. She was supposed to be the one protecting Mary, but now she was lively and energetic, while Mary could only sit in a wheelchair and endure pain.
"Ichi-chan, come here~"
"babble……?"
Mary patted her knees and then opened her arms. I-chan hesitated for a moment, but still jumped up lightly and used her telekinesis to land gracefully in Mary's arms.
“You and Balu have done a great job. If it weren’t for you, I might be dead by now.”
Marie lowered her head slightly and hugged Ichigo, burying her face in the fur on Ichigo's neck. She had only slept for two days and woke up in a hospital bed at the Pokémon Center. The ones who were truly under immense pressure were Ichigo and Pazu.
“Eek… (But… Marie, you can’t even walk by yourself now…)”
Mary looked up and pinched Ichigo's little face with amusement. The one who should really blame herself was Mary, not Ichigo and Pazu who had risked their lives to save her.
"Do you know what Kyogre's habits are?"
"Eh? (Why are you saying that?)"
Ignoring Ichigo's question, Mary continued speaking.
"It's parasitism. They parasitize living beings and amplify their desires. If it weren't for you and Pazu saving me, I would probably be a monster driven mad by desire by now."
"..."
"If it weren't for Pazu's desperate efforts to get us out of the Ultra Cave, and Ichigo's desperate efforts to protect me, I might have died in the Ultra Cave, instead of taking a walk with you all in the sunlight."
Mary smiled, but her words didn't stop:
"Look, if it weren't for the protection you provided, Ichi-chan, my physical condition would be several times worse than it is now. I might not even be able to speak and would just be lying in a hospital bed, barely surviving on IV drips."
"The reason you recovered so quickly is because you were rescued by the guardian spirits, so there's no need to feel guilty. I'm the one who should blame myself; as a trainer, I'm the one who failed in my duty."
"Ee... (I understand...)"
"Roar—(Next time, I'll protect you.)"
I-chan tilted her head back and licked Mari's face, while Balu, standing beside her, smiled and expressed his determination.
They could accept Mary's explanation and let go of their self-blame, but whether it was Bal and Ichigo, Suzu and Chiu, or Mo, Sato, and Yu, they all knew that what they couldn't let go of was their own weakness.
If I could become stronger, I could stop Nihilego before Marie was attacked. If I could become stronger, I could share the burden with Pazu and Ichigo in the Ultimate Cave.
Having survived the crisis at Ultra Deep, Marnie's Pokémon once again yearn to become even stronger.
P.S.: Speaking of which, I'm really unsure how to structure Necrozma's storyline. There can be multiple Alola characters, but there should only be one Necrozma, right? It's a bit of a headache; I only just realized this problem.
The main problem is that I completely forgot the plot of my second playthroughs of Sun and Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. I only realized today when I was looking for it that I had completely forgotten about the Ultra Metropolis incident lol.
I'm currently torn between whether Marnie should participate in the storyline of the Illusionary Ultraman in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon's Metropolis, or in the storyline of the Illusionary Ultraman on Ash's side.
Chapter 146 Encountering the Ultimate Beast Again
Marnie knew that some Ultra Beasts were scattered throughout Alola, and given her Fall status, she was prepared to be attacked even though she was out alone.
Although Mary was prepared for an attack and had even mentally rehearsed several tactical responses, the situation after encountering the Ultra Beast was beyond her expectations.
It was a Pokémon with a beak as long as a mosquito's and a body covered in strong muscles. It suddenly fell from the sky and landed right in front of Marie when she was on her way home after buying daily necessities and berries.
It seems they came to find me on purpose.
Boom—Boom—!
Baloo and Ichigo immediately unleashed their domineering auras, standing in front of Mary. The little bird in the sky chirped loudly, ready to attack. Suzu, meanwhile, enveloped Mary with her superpowers, ready to carry her away from the battlefield should the opponent make a move.
Even Mo was crackling with electricity, wary of the suddenly appearing Pokémon.
"Buzz—! (Shall we fight?!)"
The bulging mosquito raised its hands, making a strongman-like gesture, and its muscles swelled up even more, faintly emitting a red glow. Traces of fluid could even be seen flowing beneath the muscles.
That being said, Marnie did not underestimate that muscle. Judging from the fact that it had just fallen from the sky and crushed rocks without being affected, it was definitely a Pokémon with powerful physical abilities.
"That's what I should be asking you. What are you planning to do by suddenly appearing in front of me?"
"Buzz—? (You can understand me? No, why can I understand what you're saying too?)"
The Buzzwole's momentum weakened considerably, and its small eyes stared intently at Mary. Clearly, the sudden appearance of an individual with whom it could communicate had greatly increased the initial goodwill of this Ultra Beast, which had been isolated and helpless.
Mary frowned slightly. Was the Ultra Beast in such a bad state here? It was impossible for it to become so aggressive when it couldn't communicate at all.
But what about the Cosmog family? Is this the difference between legendary and ordinary Pokémon?
"You haven't answered my question yet. I know I'm tainted with the energy of the Ultra Void, but why did you come looking for me? Other Ultra Beasts probably have the same energy too."
"Buzz—(Your body... no, no, you're just a human, but why does your energy aura feel like that of a radiant god?! What exactly are you?)"
