Pokémon from Galar

After putting away the plane tickets and visas, Mary complained helplessly. Of course, she just wanted to travel alone with Yuri, but she was too embarrassed to say it outright.
After waiting for almost half an hour, Yuri finally appeared at the airport, accompanied by Sonia and Hep, both wearing matching white coats.
As Mary handed Yuri her documents and plane ticket, she looked at Sonia and the others and asked with a smile:
"Why are you all here? Has the research institute abandoned its duties?"
"I came to see you off, since we won't be able to see each other for the next six months or so. But you, on the other hand, don't seem to miss us at all."
Sonia raised her hand and poked Mary's forehead in an annoyed manner, leaving Mary, who was holding the little dragon, nowhere to hide and forcing her to squint and endure it.
"You two remember to send me lots of interesting things! After I study for another year, I want to travel next year too."
Hep reminded the two to update their travel updates more often, as he, as a young man, was quite envious of his peers who debuted in the same year traveling to other places.
It was only because of his excellent qualities as a trainer that he realized there was still a gap between him and the two girls in front of him, and that he needed to spend time and effort to fill it. That's why he refrained from going on the trip and instead chose the boring research institute.
"Okay, okay, I'll update more often, don't worry~"
Yuri hugged her bear apprentice and laughed happily, unable to contain her excitement at the thought of traveling to other places with Mary.
After chatting for a short while, Yuri and Mary said goodbye to everyone and then disappeared into the corridor following the instructions on the loudspeaker.
Sonia patted Hep on the shoulder, then looked at the somewhat bewildered assistant beside her and said with a smile:
“Those two little girls have already left. Let’s go have a meal together. I’ll also ask if Emperor Dan is free.”
Back in the snowfield, the assistant and Sonia got along quite well, and since she was a few years older, the assistant subconsciously thought of taking care of both of them.
"Huh? Um... Mr. Dan is so busy, perhaps we shouldn't bother him?"
"It's alright, it's alright. No matter how busy he is, he still has to eat. It's a rare trip to Gongmen City, would this guy dare not invite me out for a meal?"
"..."
Seeing that Sonia's tone was more familiar with Dante than she had imagined, the assistant wisely kept her mouth shut; this was not a topic she could comment on.
On the other side, Yuri, who had arrived in first class, couldn't wait to sit in the window seat and kept looking around.
"Alright, sit tight and hold onto your bear apprentice, we're about to take off."
"Hehehe~"
Yuri chuckled foolishly, subconsciously rubbing the little belly of her bear apprentice in her arms.
"Are you still in elementary school? Tell me honestly, did you sleep at all last night?"
With a helpless smile, Mary sat down, leaning to one side and propping her chin up, staring intently into Yuri's eyes. Yuri then lowered her head, blushing, scratching her head and grinning foolishly.
"Uh...hehehe...I didn't fall asleep until five in the morning..."
"Fine, I give up. You should get some more sleep after takeoff."
"Oh...hehehe~"
"Stop laughing like that, it looks silly."
"No way! Ask Bear Apprentice and Little Fire Dragon, and see if they think I'm stupid!"
"Wow~ (So silly~)"
"Aww~ (To be honest, it's true~)"
"See, they all say I'm not stupid!"
Looking at Yuri's proud face, Mary smiled lovingly at her silly child.
"Fine... whatever you say..."
"Hehehe~"
On the plane, Yuri smiled foolishly at Mary, their hands clasped together without them even realizing it, as they eagerly awaited the unknown that lay ahead.
---The End--
Author's Closing Remarks
After typing the last line and writing "The End of the Book," I checked the time. It seems I spent a year and a half writing this book. I started writing it last January and finished it this June.
Although this is the third book I've finished writing, I still feel quite emotional.
I originally intended to write about Sinnoh, mainly about Arceus, but I think everyone has seen the Pokémon remake promotions, so I won't say much. Anyway, that made me give up the idea of continuing to write about Sinnoh.
As for the Isle of Armor, some people might think it's written too generally, but there's not much to write about the Isle of Armor. There are gods and legends in the snowy plains, and it's also related to the cover god, but the only highlights of the Isle of Armor are Mash and the Martial Arts Bear Master.
As for Mary's personal circumstances, she had previously stated that after careful consideration, she would be more cautious about new Pokémon. Although she was curious about Urshifu, she felt that if Yuri got it, it wouldn't be much different from if she had gotten it herself.
Another reason I don't plan to write about other regions is that Mary's strength is already very high, and I'm not good at writing invincible stories.
I don’t know how many people still remember that this book originally had an “invincible” tag, but later a reader questioned where the invincible element of the book was. After considering it, I realized that I had not written any invincible elements, so I removed the tag.
Overall, I stopped writing at Galar because I couldn't figure out what to write in an invincible story.
Enough with the chit-chat.
I express my heartfelt gratitude to every reader who has made it this far. No matter what, it is because you were willing to click on this book and read my words that I was able to persevere and finish writing this story.
Thank you so much for your support.
As for what I'll write about in my next book, I haven't decided yet. I don't know if anyone is familiar with my other books, but the range of themes I write about is very wide. So although it might disappoint some people, it's highly likely that my next book won't be about Pokémon.
As for whether I'll write about monsters, everyday life, Ultraman, or fantasy, it all depends on which idea I can develop the most in the future.
After the first two books, I don't expect any readers to follow up with the next one. After all, the themes are so different, there's nothing I can do about it (laughs).
Thank you again for reading. This is a humble work I wrote purely for my own enjoyment. If you find it acceptable while reading, that would be wonderful.
See you again someday.
