Harvey could understand Tony Stark's reservations.

However, Harvey knew that as long as Tony Stark harbored the desire for more power, he would eventually join the Void.

"Whether I accept it or not, thank you for giving me this opportunity."

Tony Stark's eyes flickered slightly upon hearing this, and he nodded gratefully.

Chapter 31 Demanding the Relics

"I've finished talking about my business."

"Let's go up and talk about other things."

"I wonder if you could do me the honor of speaking with Pepper?"

"To make it clear beforehand, I did not tell her what I was talking to you about."

“Peibo just wants to chat with you, who is being eyed by many wealthy women.”

Tony Stark then spoke.

"You don't mind?"

Harvey glanced at Tony upon hearing this and then spoke.

"You are very handsome, but you look much younger than Pepper."

"She doesn't have that much money, so she wouldn't even consider keeping you as a mistress."

"As long as you don't deliberately flirt with Pei Bo, I don't mind."

Tony Stark waved his hand dismissively and said without a hint of worry.

"Since you don't mind, then I don't mind either."

"As for flirting with beautiful women, that has never been my style. I am always the one who takes the initiative to talk to me."

Harvey shrugged and said nonchalantly.

"Okay, let's go."

Tony Stark was relieved to hear this.

Just as Tony Stark was about to leave the underground research lab with Harvey...

"Sir, Mr. Coulson is calling. Would you like to answer?"

Jarvis's voice suddenly rang out.

"So fast?"

Tony Stark said with some surprise.

Coulson helped him investigate his father's belongings, and he even anticipated that Coulson might use persuasive tactics to prolong the investigation, gain his favor, and win him over.

Unexpectedly, Coulson called back in just over ten minutes.

If it happened so quickly, it means that the other party has most likely found his father's belongings.

"Perhaps their skills are a little bit higher than you think?"

Harvey spoke up upon hearing this.

"Then answer the call."

Upon hearing this, Tony Stark stopped in his tracks and began to speak.

This time, the connection was not just a communication but a video communication.

A black man wearing a black trench coat and an eyepatch stood beside Coulson.

When the black man saw Tony's side, he spotted Harvey Ambellaca and his eyes lit up.

"Nice to meet you, Tony Stark."

“I am Nick Fury, the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Coulson’s superior.”

"And Harvey Ambellaca, our agent offended you last time, and I apologize to that agent and to you."

"sorry."

Nick Fury took the initiative to introduce himself.

"Director Nick Fury, S.H.I.E.L.D."

"Aren't you called the Land and Resources Bureau?"

Tony Stark found the name rather odd.

You can just call me Fury.

"Given that it wasn't just Tony Stark who mentioned our agency's name being too long."

“Harvey Amberaka also said that our bureau’s name is too long.”

"So we've been considering shortening some of the names."

"After considering this for a while, we finally came up with a simple, direct name that makes people feel at ease as soon as they hear it."

Nick Fury then offered his explanation.

"I don't know if the name S.H.I.E.L.D. sounds reassuring, but it's definitely easier to remember than the previous one."

Tony Stark responded directly, his words so harsh they made one want to punch him.

Harvey himself simply sat down and started playing on his phone.

Nick Fury was somewhat exasperated to see that Harvey Ambella didn't even glance at him.

However, he also knew that Natasha could easily leave a bad impression that time.

Nick Fury wasn't particularly surprised by Harvey Ambellaca's presence at Stark Estate.

Harvey Ambellaca now holds a significant stake in Tony Stark.

Furthermore, almost everyone in New York's upper class knew that Harvey Ambellaca and Tony Stark had become friends.

Even without superpowers, Harvey Ambellaca's seemingly divine favor ensured that his later achievements wouldn't be too low. Both of them were wealthy, so it's not surprising that they were birds of a feather.

Let's put the name issue aside for now.

"Let's get down to business."

"We did find some of your father Howard Stark's belongings."

"However, your father held a very important position in the military, so what he left behind became a military secret."

Nick Fury leaned forward, crossed his arms and placed them on the table in front of him, and said with a serious expression.

"You're just beating around the bush, but what you really mean is that if I want to get it, it won't be that easy, will it?"

Tony Stark has dealt with the military quite a bit, so he's certainly familiar with their rhetoric.

"No, no, no, it's understandable that your father's belongings are being returned to you."

"I mainly want to understand some things from you before handing it over to you."

“You are thirty-nine years old now, and in all those years, you have never thought to ask the military if there are any of your father’s belongings left behind.”

"Now that I've remembered, may I ask why?"

Nick Fury shook his head upon hearing this and then spoke.

"Because of this."

Tony Stark opened his shirt, revealing the Arc Reactor.

Rather than admitting that he only asked because of the Arc Reactor on his chest, he preferred to say it was because Harvey Ambellaca reminded him to ask.

"This thing is called the Arc Reactor. It works very well and is the key to me becoming Iron Man."

"I have to wear it all the time and can't take it off for certain reasons."

"I want to find a new element to replace it, but I've tried all the other elements on the periodic table."

"The result is obvious: nothing was found."

"So I thought of my father, who was just as talented as I was."

"I want to see if my father left any belongings that might give me some inspiration."

Tony Stark's face showed a complicated expression as he explained the reason.

"I understand. I'll have Coulson send it to you."

"Hopefully, your father's belongings can be of some help to you."

Nick Fury looked at the Arc Reactor on Tony Stark's chest, which was flashing white light, and spoke without much shock.

If Tony Stark can't find a replacement element, S.H.I.E.L.D. has something that can alleviate the symptoms of palladium.

But alleviating the symptoms is only a temporary solution; if Tony Stark wants to survive, he still has to find a way himself.

The Iron Man suit created by Tony Stark has incredibly powerful combat capabilities.

After all, this is equivalent to a humanized fighter jet, and even more convenient to move around than a fighter jet. It can be said that it is not a superpowered person but comparable to a superpowered person.

But if Tony Stark doesn't have much time left, then a rare superhero who could potentially be recruited into the Avengers will be gone.

"As soon as possible."

Upon hearing this, the complex expression on Tony Stark's face disappeared, and he nodded slightly.

Chapter 32 I Have Plenty of Money to Buy My Life

“Mr. Harvey Ambella, we hope you will forgive our SHIELD for the offense. We have no intention of making enemies of you.”

Nick Fury looked at Harvey Ambella and took the initiative to greet him.

"I don't care, as long as you stop bothering me."

"The great mission of saving the planet has nothing to do with me, an ordinary person."

Upon hearing this, Harvey looked up at Nick Fury and spoke.
