Of course, Abigail was met with another dark, magical slash.

"Oh dear, this really won't work."

Abigail dodged Black Saber's attack, then waved her hand as if nothing had happened. But was that really the case? Of course not.

boom......

Suddenly, countless tentacles burst forth from the river, stabbing towards Blackie. Blackie leaped to dodge, slashing down all the pursuing tentacles with her sword.

Just then, the river seemed to suddenly rise, and a huge monster emerged from it.

This monster is enormous, with a tough skin and numerous tentacles covering its back; it would be the undisputed ruler of the sea.

Speaking of this, we must mention Abigail's abilities.

At this point, Abigail is more like a summoner than a sorcerer. She can summon all sorts of Cthulhu-themed monsters, though only the weaker ones. She may not be able to control the stronger ones or those with their own intelligence.

To be honest, this giant monster doesn't even make it onto the official records, so it's considered relatively weak. However, it can still handle a weakened version of Saber Alter.

"Go, take down that Saber King without a cowlick!" Abigail said, pointing at Saber from atop the monster's head.

Roar......

A tremendous roar erupted from the monster's mouth, followed by countless tentacles swarming towards Blackie.

Faced with such a massive swarm of tentacles, Black Saber simply raised the black longsword in her hand.

The magic gathered towards the black doll at an extremely fast speed, becoming so dense that it was visible to the naked eye.

"Hey, you're not playing by the rules! You're unleashing your ultimate attack so early. I'm outta here." Abigail then flew away from the monster's head into the distance.

"EX Curry Stick!"

Black Saber swung down her longsword, which was imbued with a massive amount of magic power. A torrent of black magic instantly crashed into the monster and engulfed it.

boom......

After engulfing the monster, the black torrent surged into the sky, forming a black pillar of light.

"Wow! Fuyuki has flattened the nuclear shell again. As expected of Curry Stick, the effect is truly spectacular, but it still can't compare to the original!"

Flying in the sky, Abigail looked at the depression that had formed in the center of the river and said.

Just then, Abigail noticed the gathering of magic. This time, Black Saber's target was Abigail.

"Wow, as expected, having magic power means you can do whatever you want. Well then, in that case, I'll try out my Noble Phantasm. I've never used it before."

At this moment, in response to the black magic below, Abigail's forehead began to glow with a white light.

"I appear from nothingness, wielding the silver key, and touch its location. I will become the embodiment of the Father God's essence, residing within us...! Crossing the Rose's Sleep, I will reach the Ultimate Gate! The ethereal tree overflowing with light!!"

In an instant, the white light engulfed the entire mirrored space.

In the dark space, everything was nothingness. The only thing that existed was a huge bubble that shimmered with indescribable light. The appearance of this bubble was indescribable, and no word could be found to describe it. The only thing that could be recognized was that it was round, like a bubble.

Black Saber appeared in this void world, where everything had turned to nothingness, including herself. Time had no meaning here; perhaps endless time had passed, or perhaps only a moment had elapsed. Black Saber was assimilated and vanished in this space, powerless to resist, leaving only a card behind, which then disappeared from the space in an instant.

Throughout the entire process, the giant bubble showed no reaction whatsoever, nor did it change in the slightest.

In the mirrored space, Abigail painfully clutched her head and rolled around in the sky.

"Ouch! It hurts! It hurts so much!"

A pitiful scream escaped her lips.

Gradually, she stopped screaming.

"I thought my head was going to split open, this hurts so much."

Abigail was covered in sweat. She had never imagined that using her Noble Phantasm would hurt so much. It felt like something was being forced out of her forehead, and the pain was simply unbearable.

"I will never use Noble Phantasms carelessly again, it's a death sentence!"

Abigail said, panting heavily.

Then she looked at the card that appeared in front of her, which depicted a knight holding a sword, and below it was written Saber.

"Honestly, I almost lost my life because of this card. If it doesn't meet my expectations, I'll have really lost out."

Abigail then returned to the shore, preparing to leave.

At this point, Abigail stopped.

"I've suffered so much here, how can I not leave something behind?"

After saying this, Abigail left something on the bottom of the river. She then connected the mirrored space with the leftover object to ensure it wouldn't disappear.

After completing the task, Abigail waved her hand, opening a spatial rift and leaving the mirrored space.

"Because I like it."

Chapter 41 Card Analysis

After emerging from the mirror space, Abigail took the card and went home. Today had actually been quite fruitful; she had only intended to find one card to analyze, but unexpectedly encountered a double-yolked one. Although she didn't know if having an extra card would bring any new gains, well, who knows?

"Xiaoyuan, I'm back."

"Open the door," Abigail called out.

But Xiaoyuan didn't come to greet her as usual.

"Huh, isn't Xiaoyuan here?" Abigail walked into the house, somewhat puzzled.

She then searched the entire house, but couldn't find Xiaoyuan.

"What's going on? Madoka shouldn't be running around like that!" Abigail was a little worried. She didn't think that Homura Akemi had come and taken Madoka away.

Based on what I know, if it really were Homura Akemi who came, she would definitely be waiting here to see who had kidnapped Madoka. But that's not the case now, so Madoka must be away from home for some other reason.

"Could it be that Xiaoyuan went out to buy groceries?" Abigail guessed. She had already given Xiaoyuan a lot of money before, and considering what Xiaoyuan was going to do, this possibility seemed quite high.

But honestly, I didn't have much to worry about. It was just a short trip out; Xiaoyuan should be back soon. I should focus on studying this card first; that's the most important thing right now.

Sitting on the sofa, Abigail took out two cards, placed them on the table, and then picked up one of them.

Abigail leaned closer to the cards and examined them carefully.

"interesting."

Through observation of these cards, Abigail discovered that the cards themselves were not special; the main difference lay in the magical circuits attached to them. Abigail didn't understand these circuits, but they were quite complex. However, she could glean some insight into their effects.

"I have to say, the person who created this card is a genius! They were able to use magic circuits to connect to the Throne of Heroes and obtain the projections of Heroic Spirits, but without their consciousness, so they could manipulate them. It's a pretty good idea, but what exactly does the person who created this card want to do?"

Abigail said to herself.

After studying it for a while, Abigail switched to another card.

"Hmm, something seems a little different here."

By observing Abigail, it was discovered that although the two cards shared some of the same magic circuits, they also had some differences.

Abigail held the two cards in her hands and compared them, discovering something very interesting.

"This is amazing. I didn't know they could be linked together."

Indeed, from the two cards, Abigail discovered that some of the circuits could be connected together, and that they were all part of a larger circuit.

"Big Bubble, come out here. I have a question for you. Do you recognize this circuit?"

Abigail said, and extracted the circuit from it, manifesting it in the air with her own magic.

Immediately, the giant bubble appeared beside Abigail. It remained silent for a moment, circled the magic circuit once, and then spoke.

"Host, this is the magic circuit needed to connect the Holy Grail summoning ritual. However, summoning the Holy Grail also requires the full magic power of five Heroic Spirits, the magic power of a ley line, and the Holy Grail summoning ritual. I can complete the summoning ritual circuit for you, but you will need to find the Heroic Spirits' magic power and the ley line yourself."

“Really? Good, it’s good to know that,” Abigail said happily.

This answer was exactly what she expected.

"The conditions are in place, so we can proceed according to the script. I hope my guess is correct."

Just then, the sound of the door opening came from the entrance.

“I’m back, Abby.”

Xiao Yuan's voice came from the doorway.

"You're back, Xiaoyuan. What have you been doing?"

Abigail put away the card and went to the door.

Xiao Yuan walked in carrying a bag.

"I just went out to buy groceries, Abby, come on, help me carry these."

Then, Abigail took the bag from Xiaoyuan's hand, looked inside, and saw that it contained some vegetables and meat.

"So, Xiaoyuan, what are you planning to do tonight?" Abigail asked, somewhat puzzled.

"I'm going to make hot pot, Abby, what do you think? Are you looking forward to it?" Xiaoyuan walked in after changing into her slippers.

"Hot pot, huh? That sounds pretty good."

Abigail returned the bag to Xiaoyuan, who then took the bag directly to the kitchen.

Watching Xiaoyuan's retreating figure, Abigail suddenly said:
