"I hope your revenge comes quickly. If you can't kill me, you've lost."

Having uttered those words to thin air, Black Dragon turned and left.

……

They strike at dawn and return home at dusk—that's the Black Flying Dragon.

"Did you run into trouble on the way? You're back so late."

Upon landing at the dock, Canglong stood under a street lamp, watching the Black Flying Dragon approach from the sea.

"A little."

Black Flying Dragon stowed its ship equipment, climbed the steps, stretched its body, then took out a simulation map, opened it, and used a medium-thick red line to draw an irregular circle that covered most of the Sakura Empire's territory.

"This is?"

Azure Dragon's gaze fell on the map.

“I’ve cleared out all the Sirens and their bases along this route. Please make a record of it for me.”

Black Flying Dragon handed the equipment to Azure Dragon and said.

"Understood. Should we go on high alert?"

Canglong's expression turned serious as he took the equipment and inquired.

"Please keep everyone indoors as much as possible during this period, and wait for Baiying and Donghuang to arrive."

After entering the country, cooperate with them to eliminate all Siren bases, so that even if the Sirens want revenge, they will lack a transit point.

Black Dragon thought for a few seconds and said that she had already dealt with the bases in the vicinity. Unless the Sirens descended from the sky, it would be difficult to gather enough combat power to overthrow this place in a short period of time.

"Okay, I'll report to Lord Nagato in a bit. You should go back and rest. Don't go out for the next few days."

Azure Dragon looked at Black Flying Dragon with a hint of worry in his eyes.

Black Flying Dragon shook his head slightly, his tone firm: "Since we've chosen to take action, we must achieve the greatest results in a short time. Tomorrow I will go to the front line and then clear out the no-man's land."

"...Is there anything we can do to help you?"

Canglong sighed softly; Heifeilong's attitude made it impossible for her to persuade him any further.

"No, it's enough for you to guard the port area. Shinano entrusted this place to me when he left. There can't be any problems here."

Black Dragon refused outright, stating that the port's current strength was only enough to protect itself, and diverting resources would easily lead to problems.

"I understand."

Azure Dragon nodded slightly.

"However, if I can get everyone in the port area moving through appropriate means, I might feel much more at ease."

Black Flying Dragon's eyes flickered slightly, and he strode towards the square with his hands behind his back.

"Ok!"

Azure Dragon paused for a moment, then smiled and followed Black Flying Dragon.

The two parted ways on the second-floor platform. Black Flying Dragon followed the path back to the mansion, where the lights in the living room were still on.

Pushing open the door to the living room, Hei Feilong immediately spotted Yuudachi fast asleep, curled up in the kotatsu table, with the television on the wall still playing a program.

"She doesn't even go back to her room to sleep."

Shaking his head somewhat helplessly, Black Flying Dragon closed the door, went to the bathroom to take a shower, changed into his pajamas, and returned to the living room. After putting the snack plate on the floor, he put it into the kotatsu table and lay on his side, eating snacks and watching TV.

"Sister Long, welcome back."

A slightly sleepy voice sounded, and a pair of warm hands hugged Black Dragon's waist from behind.

"It's so late, why aren't you going back to your room to sleep?"

The black dragon glanced sideways, but due to the angle, it couldn't see Yuudachi behind it.

"Hmm, why? I forgot."

Yuudachi answered somewhat confusedly.

"Ha, I'll be more careful next time."

As he spoke, Black Flying Dragon yawned, turned off the TV with the remote, adjusted his posture, and pulled away from Yuudachi's hand to avoid crushing it.

"Good night."

Black Dragon closed its eyes.

"..."

……

The next morning, Black Flying Dragon tried to turn over in his sleep, but felt something pressing down on him and instinctively tried to push it away. However, he suddenly woke up halfway through and grabbed the edge of the fireplace table with both hands, pulling the table back to its original position.

"Sister Long, are you exercising?"

Lying beside him, Yuudachi stared at the black dragon with her eyes open.

"Why didn't you stop me when you were awake? What if you had blown this over?"

Black Flying Dragon turned its head and glared at Yuudachi.

"Hehe, I forgot."

Yuudachi chuckled mischievously.

"Get up, what's for breakfast?"

Black Dragon crawled out from under the table, looking annoyed, and stretched.

"meat!"

Yuudachi lay on the ground, raised her hands above her head, and shouted.

"Who eats meat so early in the morning? They should stay home and wait."

Hei Feilong muttered a complaint, stepped out of the hall to wash up, changed his clothes, went out the entrance, ran to the first floor and bought a few pounds of pork ribs and some side dishes to make soup at home.

Black Flying Dragon was cooking, and Yuudachi was sitting at the dining table watching.

"Are you up yet? Hmm? It smells so good."

Suddenly, someone opened the door and walked into the entryway, smelling the aroma of meat as they entered the kitchen.

"Is there something you need, Mikasa-senpai?"

While chopping vegetables, Black Flying Dragon glanced up at the newcomer and casually asked.

"Haha, it's nothing serious. Speaking of which, I've heard from others that your cooking skills are quite good, Black Dragon. Would you have the honor of tasting it today?"

Seeing the black dragon cooking with an apron and a ponytail, Mikasa's eyes flashed with amazement, and she smiled as she sat down opposite Yuudachi.

"It's fine to freeload a meal, but is there really nothing else?"

After arranging the chopped vegetables for later use, Black Dragon wiped the knife clean and glanced at Mikasa, seemingly unintentionally.

"Well, it's really not a big deal for you. Actually, Nagato and I spoke with the Free Port Area yesterday, and they've decided to cooperate with your operation and plan to enter the country through official channels in three days. What do you think?"

Mikasa coughed lightly and explained the reason.

"Cooperate with my actions?"

Black Flying Dragon was taken aback. Shouldn't he be cooperating with the main force?

"Yeah, I don't know how White Eagle found the missing New Jersey. She happened to be next to me during the call, and she kept saying she wanted to come and help, just like the rumors said."

Mikasa helplessly shrugged.

"Okay, so what should I do?"

Black Flying Dragon was somewhat helpless; this big goofball was just too much of a worry.

"Resolve the issues at the front as quickly as possible and then return. I will then welcome them as a representative of the Sakura Empire... This task should have been left to Shinano and Nagato, but Shinano has disappeared somewhere. He's such a worry."

Mikasa shook her head and said.

"I see."

Black Flying Dragon put down the cleaver and started heating the pan to cook.

Chapter Ninety-Two: On the Road

In the end, Mikasa happily left after getting a free breakfast, leaving Black Dragon to clean up the mess.

"I should be back early today. What would you like to eat tonight?"

After drying his hands with a towel, Black Flying Dragon let down his tied-up hair and spoke to Yuudachi, who was slumped on the table, having eaten too much.

"Well, Sister Long, it's up to you to decide."

Yuudachi propped herself up and sat back in her chair, rubbing her tummy.

She never thought about what to eat for dinner in the morning.

"Yeah, it's easy to catch a cold in the living room in this weather, so don't wait for me if it gets too late."

Black Flying Dragon responded and walked to the dining table.

"That won't do, I'm waiting for you to come back and cook!"

Yuudachi looked up at the passing black dragon and chuckled as she rejected its request.

"There's really nothing I can do. I'll try to come back as soon as possible if nothing else happens."

Black Flying Dragon sighed and gently tapped Yuudachi's forehead before leaving the dining area.

Yuudachi reached up and touched her forehead, then closed her eyes, lost in thought.

Leaving the mansion, Black Flying Dragon went down to the first-floor plaza. There weren't many people doing morning exercises here a couple of days ago because of the snow, but now that the sun was out, it was bustling again. She even saw quite a few familiar faces at a glance.

"Is the senior going out to sea again?"

Ibuki was discussing something with Ashigara and his group when she inadvertently saw the black dragon coming down. She left the group and came over to talk to it.

"Yes, but this trip should be enough. While I'm gone, you'll have to work a bit harder at home and keep watch."
