Crossing the azure as a black dragon

"Yeah, be careful in Sakura Empire."
The ship girl gave a reminder and then cut the connection.
"call."
Black Flying Dragon breathed a sigh of relief and quickly retreated to a nearby island to hide.
As expected, Wales called three minutes later.
"It's me. How are you?"
Hei Feilong took the phone, his tone heavy.
"What else could it be? I was terrified when I saw the call from the military. But... what's it like on the Eastern Front?"
Wales retorted irritably, but finally couldn't resist asking out of curiosity.
Black Dragon explained what he had observed, and the people on the Welsh side remained silent for a while before a voice came through: "No wonder I felt that the combat strength of the port area in Donghuang was a bit low. It turns out they've all gone to the front line."
"Didn't you say before that most of them had come to the front lines?"
The black dragon was rather strange.
"I only heard about it; who knew it was true for most of them?"
Wales whispers.
"Tsk, I'm going home to rest. You guys hurry up and come over."
"Black Flying Dragon said."
"Just wait here. Make sure the Sakura Empire ships don't find you when you get back. I can't persuade the Sakura Empire military."
Wales offered a reminder.
"Oh, I see."
Black Flying Dragon hung up the phone, and without saying a word, drew his sword, opened the door, and disappeared from the spot.
If this is discovered again, her reputation will be completely ruined.
Chapter Ninety-Four: There's a mole, but I won't say who it is.
Sailing on the sea, Black Flying Dragon recalled the defense area under the responsibility of Donghuang and felt inexplicably unable to accept it.
Despite having such a large fleet of ship girls, Donghuang's own territorial waters are constantly harassed and attacked by the Sirens. Some ports are even destroyed by the Sirens due to insufficient manpower to support the front lines.
This arrangement is very unreasonable, unless there is some important reason that prevents the number of ship girls within the territory from becoming too large.
Black Flying Dragon's gaze swept across the ocean from high above through the reconnaissance aircraft. She was currently within the territory of the Eastern Sea, where she could see the Sirens' fleet lingering on the sea surface, yet no one seemed to be dealing with it.
I can't figure it out.
After pondering for a while, Black Dragon raised her hand and released a fighter jet into the air, heading towards the Sirens she had detected.
Suddenly, Black Dragon spotted a group of furtive figures from the edge of a reconnaissance plane's view. Zooming in, she realized it was the Imitation Squad, whom she hadn't seen in a long time. There were five of them, and they were moving north. In a few more minutes, they would probably be out of her reconnaissance range and into Sakura Empire territory.
"A rare guest indeed. Could it be that the Imitation Artists' teleportation base is located in the Eastern Empire?"
Black Flying Dragon's eyes flickered slightly, and he ordered the three reconnaissance planes in the north to follow. He then launched another twenty carrier-based aircraft, with three reconnaissance planes filling the gaps in the northern area and the remaining ten or so fighter planes supporting the area where the fighting had already begun.
The southern border between Sakura Empire and the Eastern Empire is Okinawa and Kagoshima in Kyushu. The Black Dragon is currently located directly below Kagoshima. If you advance north from here, you will reach the entrance area where New Jersey is imprisoned shortly after entering Sakura Empire.
Having figured this out, Black Dragon narrowed his eyes slightly and was about to give chase when he suddenly stopped.
"The imitator appeared in my field of vision and moved toward an important place to the north. There is a high probability that it was trying to lure me there. There are two possible reasons for this: first, to ambush me; second, that there is something in this area of the sea that I cannot discover."
Black Dragon calmly analyzed the situation. She had asked her to keep an eye on the space entrance when she left the port of Elvira, and barring any unforeseen circumstances, it was unlikely that the Sirens would go there to get themselves killed.
"There's a possibility they might ambush me, but it's unlikely. It's probably just a ploy to lure me away... Let's look around a bit."
After making the decision, the Black Dragon began to approach the nearest Siren base.
Once you reach the top, hack in and browse the operation logs.
Unfortunately, nothing special was found.
These bases are all mass-production type, and the data recorded inside are not much different. If there is any abnormality, it can be detected at a glance.
The carrier-based aircraft, having been rendered inoperable and their battle over, returned to Black Dragon's side. After a moment's thought, Black Dragon took out a map and began to study it.
The sirens are heading north, so the problem might be in the south. Down from here is a stretch of sea east of the Philippines. The countries in the South China Sea have united to form the Australian United Nations. Black Dragon sees Australia as extremely dangerous, and perhaps the problem lies there.
Soon, Black Dragon's gaze fell on a group of islands in the eastern part of southern Philippines, where the Pirate Island headquarters was located, a rather treacherous position.
"Forget it, let's just look around a bit and then go back, to avoid any trouble."
Putting away the map, Black Dragon moved towards the border between Donghuang and Australia. Along the way, she would hack into and investigate any Siren bases she encountered, but unfortunately, she didn't find the data she wanted.
"Did I go the wrong way? Were we supposed to go straight?"
Half an hour later, Black Dragon began to doubt whether she had made a mistake in her judgment. Neither the reconnaissance planes nor the detection radars had found anything unusual. There wasn't even a patrol of ship girl teams in the vicinity. The only thing worth noting was that the number of islands in this area had started to increase.
"If you run another thirty miles and still don't find me, I'll go back."
Gritting her teeth, Black Dragon increased its speed and plunged into the nearby archipelago. These oddly shaped islands served as a natural barrier for ship girls, effectively preventing them from being detected by mass-produced ships.
Boom!
Suddenly, Black Dragon heard a huge, muffled sound. She quickly looked up in the direction of the sound and saw a long, drill-like cannonball piercing through an island peak to her left and hurtling towards her like a beam of light, arriving in front of her in the blink of an eye.
Clang!
Black Flying Dragon drew his sword and swung it upwards. The solid, dark red sword energy collided with the bomb head, producing a clear sound. Immediately afterward, a huge explosion rang out, and the impact shook the sea surface within a radius of tens of meters, causing seawater to splash everywhere.
"What is this thing?"
Black Flying Dragon narrowed her eyes. Her sword energy couldn't cut through it. This shell casing was really hard. Moreover, its speed was similar to that of her sword energy, around Mach 10. This was definitely not a proper weapon.
After being attacked, the Black Dragon remained on guard for a few minutes, and no second shot came. This weapon may require a certain amount of charging time.
Meanwhile, the reconnaissance plane observed in that direction, and a maritime military base appeared in Black Dragon's line of sight, located about sixty nautical miles away. The entire island had been modified, with protective walls at the outermost edge and some defenses on the top.
The most striking sight was a group of people gathered around a turret, looking somewhat hurried. The protective wall at the turret's muzzle had been breached, and the culprit was the same shell that attacked the Black Dragon.
"That seems to be... within Australia. Is it the people there who control the Sirens, or do the Sirens control the government?"
Black Dragon frowned in thought. It was absurd that they dared to set up a base in such a deep-sea area, and the Sirens didn't even come to steal it.
Without much thought, Black Dragon used a reconnaissance aircraft to find a blind spot in the base's field of vision, cut through space, and arrived within ten nautical miles of the base. With its reconnaissance capabilities fully activated, it directly hacked into the base.
"A large-scale weapons research institute? Today's scheduled electromagnetic railgun firing exercise has gone out of control?"
Black Dragon glanced through the base's records and, with the help of the surveillance footage, quickly understood the base's purpose.
One particularly interesting thing is that Australia has 'developed' a device that can shield Sirens from detection and prevent them from attacking land-based structures. This base has one of these devices, which looks like a box. After learning about its structure and principles, Black Dragon discovered that it was exactly the same as the shielding device used in the Siren underwater base.
In other words, Australia is using Sirens' technology to protect its secrets.
"Good heavens, this is probably beyond saving."
Black Dragon gasped; this was truly a tremendous discovery.
Chapter 95 Basic Techniques
"This is boring, I'm leaving."
After learning that Australia was using Sirens' technology, Black Dragon knew there was no need to make contact with them.
Although her existence also aided the Sirens' technology, she was essentially created to counter the Sirens; the two were simply not on the same level.
"It seems there's some conflict between Pirate Island and Australia. Hopefully, it won't suddenly be over."
Looking up at the distance, Black Dragon turned and tore open a tunnel, appearing dozens of miles away. It then retracted some of its reconnaissance aircraft, tore open space again, and this time returned directly to the location where it had discovered the imitators. However, there was a one-hour difference in time. The mass-produced aircraft that Black Dragon had previously sunk had completely disappeared, and the sea was not rippled at all.
It's strange, really. If the mass-produced Sirens were legitimate warships, the ocean would have been polluted long ago, given the rate at which thousands or tens of thousands sank every day.
However, the mass-produced version is essentially just an iron box, and the energy inside is still water-soluble, so no matter how much it sinks, it is difficult to affect the water quality.
To put it bluntly, human pollution of the ocean seems to be even greater than that of the sirens.
"That's strange."
Muttering something under his breath, the Black Dragon began its northward journey, quickly reaching the border of Sakura Empire. The imitators who had been wandering around here earlier were nowhere to be seen, but the Black Dragon didn't pay much attention and directly crossed the buffer zone between the two countries into Sakura Empire.
Black Flying Dragon's back-and-forth movement between the Eastern Empire and Sakura Empire may seem effortless, but it's not. Both the Eastern Empire and Sakura Empire are major powers. While there may be no one guarding the borders, there are certainly other means of monitoring. Black Flying Dragon is a Sakura Empire ship, registered in the Eastern Empire, and has the status of a ship girl in a free port, allowing her to move back and forth. If it were anyone else, they would definitely be invited for tea.
Upon returning to Sakura Empire, the Black Dragon did not linger but continued its journey until it reached the entrance to that strange space near the Okinawa Islands.
Everything was peaceful; there were no ship girls or sirens.
"It seems I guessed right."
As his gaze swept over the spatial entrance that was constantly emitting abnormal fluctuations, Black Flying Dragon felt a little more at ease.
Previously, she would chase after any imitator she saw. This time, she took a risk and tried to deduce something. Fortunately, she gained something, and nothing went wrong here. Otherwise, she would have become so self-doubting that she would have become withdrawn.
"But... can't the Sirens enter this space?"
With a step, Black Dragon plunged into the fluctuating space. Although she felt the fluctuations, the space was actually very stable and she could move around freely. To enter that space, she needed a key to open the door.
"I don't believe the Sirens didn't master independent space technology. Perhaps the Sirens at the Annihilator level are unable to open the door, and only more advanced Sirens can do so?"
Black Flying Dragon stood on the sea surface, deep in thought.
The fact that New Jersey was imprisoned thirteen years ago suggests that the Sirens already possessed independent space technology at that time. It's just unknown which Siren creator imprisoned New Jersey.
"Ugh, this is giving me a headache. Could you send some Ember Shipgirls from another world to help me sweep through this world?"
After thinking for a while, Black Flying Dragon reached out and rubbed his temples.
She's only been in this world for a little over six months, so why are there so many problems that she needs to deal with?
Suddenly, the black dragon looked up at the fluctuating space and its eyes lit up: "This space is connected to other worlds, which means I might be able to go to other worlds to ask for help?"
Anyway, she felt that the humans of this world couldn't handle the Sirens, and that more external factors were needed to break the deadlock... such as finding other embers wandering between worlds.
However, Black Dragon quickly calmed down, because it was still unknown whether Shinano could return. Without Shinano guarding Sakura Empire, she could not leave this world.
"This is so troublesome. I wish I were as smart as Amagi."
Black Dragon shook its head and headed towards Avira's port area.
After running for half an hour, Black Dragon arrived at the outskirts of the Okinawa Islands and spotted a black-haired girl strolling on the beach around the port area.
