Crossing the azure as a black dragon

"interest?"
When Avira walked over, Black Dragon took a step back and asked.
It seems that Avira's diary was not meant for her, as the content appears to have been planned in advance.
"Well, sort of. I'll just write down the less important things first, so I can refer to them later if I forget them."
"Ivy thought for a moment and then said."
"Really? Then what's the particularly important thing?"
Black Dragon was already used to Avira's unusual habits, and asked with a light laugh as he walked toward the kitchen.
"Times that I can cherish when I look back on them, just like now."
Seeing Yuudachi and Shigure running out of the bathroom, making a ruckus, Avira naturally smiled slightly.
"That's true."
Black Flying Dragon nodded in agreement.

The Sirens' ultimate goal in attacking Sakura Empire was nothing more than to create a relatively safe living environment; everything was for the sake of this inconspicuous daily life.
The two arrived at the restaurant, where Yuudachi and Shigure had already served the food and were seated waiting for them. Kurohiryu smiled, stepped forward, and sat down to begin their meal.
After a quick lunch, Yuudachi dragged a recliner from the warehouse to the backyard for a nap, while Shigure was more direct, lying down on the lawn.
Are you going out again later?
Black Dragon finished clearing away the dishes and saw Avira sitting at the table drinking tea. Usually, this meant she wasn't taking a midday nap.
"Yeah, the training facilities at Akashi's place are almost finished. Shall we go test them out together?"
Ivy blew on the rising steam from her teacup and spoke to the black dragon.
"So soon? Let's go take a look."
Black Flying Dragon was somewhat surprised, as Akashi's side had only been working for less than a week.
The training grounds she was given were filled with combat enemies close to the META level, but they were defeated so quickly.
Avira nodded in satisfaction.
After a short rest, Black Dragon accompanied Avira out. It was mid-May, the tail end of spring. The sun looked scorching, but the temperature wasn't actually that high, and a cool breeze made it just right.
"This place is really nice."
Ivy stretched out her hand to shield her eyes from the sun, and sunlight streamed through the gaps between her fingers onto her soft face. Such an ordinary gesture made Ivy appear ethereal, as if she were about to become one with the sun.
"I think so too."
Black Flying Dragon smiled.
Actually, this port area isn't exactly great, and it's inconvenient in many ways, but it's enough for them.
Perhaps her mindset changed after transmigrating into a ship girl. Even with power comparable to an entire nation, she didn't have much desire. If she had any goals now, it would be to become stronger, protect those around her, and then find an opportunity to deal with the pro-war Creator and the Sirens, so that the seas of this world could become more peaceful.
Avira lowered her hand and looked up at the calm-faced Black Dragon. Although Black Dragon appeared very composed when they first met, she could sense his inner confusion and a forced smile.
While Black Dragon may not appear particularly confident now, he is certainly a mature warrior.
Less than a year had passed. Although she had witnessed it once before, she was still amazed by the Black Dragon's growth rate. Next, she would help the Black Dragon improve its only weakness - combat experience against powerful enemies, so that the Black Dragon could get infinitely closer to a true META-class ship.
"pity."
Avira withdrew her gaze and sighed softly.
"Ok?"
Black Dragon glanced sideways. Avira looked at him and said, "What a pity?" What did that mean? Did it mean he was still far from Avira's target?
"It's a pity that your understanding and talent for time are too poor. Even with a huge amount of Rubik's Cube energy as the driving force, you can't reach its core."
Avira didn't hide anything and explained the reason directly.
"I can't help it. Being able to travel back and forth in the river of time is already amazing. I really can't imagine the ability to use time without relying on external objects."
Black Flying Dragon felt a chill in her heart. Perhaps it was because of her limited knowledge, but she really didn't understand the concept of time.
If she could learn Shinano's technique of reversing the objects she touches to their initial state, she might be able to detect the momentary weakness in the world's barrier and then travel through the world on her own through sheer strength.
“You can’t rely on external things all the time. They can only temporarily give you certain abilities, but they are not your own abilities. Only when you thoroughly study and master these abilities can you enter the strongest stage.”
Avira crossed her arms over her chest in an X shape and explained Black Dragon's last words.
"In other words, I must learn to use energy to replace auxiliary equipment such as radar, to deliver the strongest blow without weapons, and to master the technique of altering time without relying on external objects. Only after accomplishing these things can I be considered to have truly reached my limit?"
Avira's words enlightened Black Dragon.
She had long felt that she was approaching her limit, but after hearing what Avira said, she suddenly realized that she was still far from it.
"Ah, yes, that's it. Only when you can travel to other worlds as if you were merging into space can you be said to have truly reached the limit."
Avira didn't expect the Black Dragon to react so quickly, and gave her the target in less than a second of hesitation.
She knew the limits of the Black Dragon; even if it did all of the above, it would be difficult to break through the world barrier.
If the Black Azure Dragon hadn't seized the birthplace of the Black Flying Dragon, its foundation would have been even stronger, and it might have had a slight chance of becoming a true META-class ship.
"I see."
Black Dragon remembered Avira's words and planned to study the operating principles of the auxiliary equipment when he had time.
The main goal is to study the positioning system and try to overcome my terrible sense of direction.
Avira smiled, pleased with Black Dragon's ambition.
Chatting casually along the way, the two passed through residential and functional areas and arrived at Akashi's armory.
Surprisingly, someone else arrived before them, also heading to the practice field.
Chapter 115 Five Levels
Usually quiet
A desolate sound echoed in the armory. Black Flying Dragon stepped forward and saw the scene inside the warehouse.
Wearing a light blue short skirt embroidered with white patterns, Kaga was looking down at Akashi with her usual indifferent expression. Her sharp gaze fell on Akashi, who was quite frightened by the little kitten who liked to play the victim in front of the black dragon. Her ears drooped down, and her cute little face showed a troubled expression.
Excuse me.
Black Flying Dragon reached out and tapped twice in the air, creating ripples that produced a clear, thumping sound.
"Black Flying Dragon Meow!"
Akashi, as if seeing a savior, darted over to Black Dragon's side with her short legs and hid behind her.
Kaga nodded slightly to the black dragon as a greeting.
"I overheard your conversation. Has the regular training ground not been completed yet?"
Black Flying Dragon nodded to Kaga, then turned to ask Akashi, who was hiding beside her.
"It's still a bit short. We can't accurately simulate an opponent with similar strength to the trainee yet, so there's a big risk in putting it into use, meow."
Akashi quickly explained.
Are you in a hurry?
Black Flying Dragon nodded to indicate that he understood, and looked up at Kaga.
"Life here is too peaceful. I want to hone my new fighting style as soon as possible. I don't mind simulating powerful enemies."
As she spoke, Kaga's gaze lingered on the black dragon, and even her calm expression couldn't hide the fervor in her eyes.
"In that case... can my setup accommodate multiple people for testing at the same time?"
Black Dragon pondered for a few seconds before asking Avira, who had arrived a step later than her.
Kaga's gaze made her understand why Akashi was frightened; the way she was being used as a sparring partner without even being given a place to practice was truly intimidating.
She wasn't afraid of Kaga, but she was here to accompany Avira to test the battle area, so she didn't have time to spar with Kaga.
"Sure."
Avira returned without hesitation; she had already understood the situation from outside.
Akashi was not wrong in this matter. It is very dangerous to put a training ground into use without testing it. The pre-set procedure for forced withdrawal due to serious injury may not be effective.
"Kaga, would you be interested in taking the test with me?"
Upon hearing this, Black Flying Dragon extended his hand to Kaga, extending an invitation.
"Ah."
Kaga dispelled his fighting spirit towards Black Dragon and calmly walked alongside it.
"I haven't seen Akagi lately, has she changed her personality?"
The four of them walked out of the armory together, and Black Flying Dragon casually asked a question.
"Akagi has focused her attention on the research of the Ironblood biological ship equipment. She wants to use energy technology to enhance her own strength."
Kaga made no attempt to conceal his motives and stated Akagi's motivations very directly.
"how about you?"
Black Dragon changed the subject.
"There is more than one way to become stronger, and relying on external things is not the power I want."
Kaga glanced at the black dragon, his meaning clear enough.
"Haha."
Black Flying Dragon chuckled awkwardly. Kaga was giving her far too much credit by using her as a standard; right now, she was still relying on external aids to overcome her terrible sense of direction.
After a brief chat, the group went to the basement.
Despite being a basement, it was surprisingly well-lit, with sunlight directly illuminating most of the basement.
The four portals standing in the middle are the largest pieces of equipment in the basement. The sensible Akashi went directly to the door that connected to the mirrored sea and activated the control panel. Azure blue water ripples appeared in the center of the arched portal.
