Sasuke took a deep breath and nodded emphatically.

"I'll do whatever you say, okay!"

Sheren still maintained his aloof demeanor, but he never wavered in obeying Mianma's instructions.

"Haha, whatever you say, we'll do it, brother!"

Naruto, also in a spirited manner, spoke loudly.

Karin looked at Menma with a gentle expression, her face full of determination.

Just like it was a decade or so ago.

On that day.

The boy named Uzumaki Menma became the only light in her heart, and more than ten years later, nothing will change.

"Ah, then let's set off! Let's embark on our own path!"

Mianma laughed heartily!

"Buzz!"

Those eyes, as bright as stars, swept over Naruto, Toneri, Sasuke, and Karin.

"Shh!"

The arm that followed with a gentle swing.

All around.

A faint light immediately shone forth, enveloping the four of them, and a pillar of light shot into the sky!

The moment an extremely powerful spatial fluctuation rippled out.

"Whoosh!"

A shimmering, bright shadow.

The figure disappeared.

The four of them, including Mianma, had already left the original spot.

They journeyed towards the land of that shining, bright moon, embarking on the eternal path that truly belonged to them!

Author's Closing Remarks

This book, which was uploaded on January 28, 2023, will be completed today, June 18, 2024, with a total of 211 million words. The update schedule is fairly standard. In fact, according to the original outline of this book, it was either going to end at the Valley of the End or continue writing into the Boruto storyline. That was my initial plan.

But it seems I'm overthinking it. I don't need readers to tell me; I can feel it myself. The more I write, the more tedious and boring it becomes. In fact, this is a common problem for online novel authors. With almost no rest throughout the year and a book often having two or three million words, not many authors can maintain an interesting plot all the time.

Those who can achieve this invariably become top authors or even platinum-level authors.

At the very least, only authors who consistently earn premium badges possess this level of skill.

An author like me, who can only write fan fiction, is really not up to par.

For a book, whether it's interesting or not is directly reflected in its subscriptions. The peak subscription period for this book was from when the protagonist left Konoha until the establishment of Hidden Light Village. At that time, the 24-hour subscriptions for a single chapter were around 1000, and the average subscriptions for the book were steadily moving towards 2000. For a struggling author like me, an average subscription of over 1,000 or even 2000 is already a very encouraging thing.

My dream is still to become an author who can get the premium badge, but it seems that my level has reached this point.

Then comes the period of weakness.

The updates are slow, and the plot seems to be just following the script, with no highlights or appeal. To put it bluntly, it's just filler. The drop in subscriptions is the most direct evidence of this, and it's a precipitous drop. I was already thinking of ending it when it reached the End Valley.

I just feel like there are some things I haven't finished writing.

I tried to force myself to keep writing, whether it was time travel or the Boruto storyline. I had considered many things, but I couldn't fully express what I wanted to say. The main problem was that I didn't have the passion to write, so how could I possibly write a story that would satisfy the readers?

I don't know if this counts as a bad ending, but at least it provides a passable conclusion.

Judging solely from the final results, I don't consider this book a failure, at least not for a struggling author like myself.

However, compared to the Uchiha manga, it wasn't written as smoothly.

Both the process and the final outcome.

This is also a way to express my gratitude and apology to the hundreds of readers who still managed to subscribe to the final installment. It was my fault that I couldn't finish this book completely and well. I can only say that I will continue to work hard for the next book.

As for the new book, I'm already considering it and will try my best to release it in July. Thank you again!

Goodnight, everyone!
