Just a second ago, she was still immersed in the doubt and grief that Peach might be dead, but now she has fallen into Peach's arms and is completely under her control.
Momoko Kurosawa's voice came coldly, carrying a chill that went straight to the bone: "Tsuki... has absolutely no sense of vigilance."
Her tone was full of disappointment and disdain, as if she had expected the scene before her.
Hinasaki was stunned, her mind going completely blank.
She felt a cold, stinging pain in her neck, as if the cold air had seeped into her bloodstream through her skin.
Looking down, she realized that the katana in Momoko's hand was already pressed against her neck. The sharp blade gleamed coldly, and with a slight pressure, thin trickles of blood seeped out and flowed down the blade.
"Have you been in contact with them for so long that you've completely lost your guard?" Peach's voice rang out again, her tone cold and stern, full of questioning and scrutiny.
The blade pressed against Yue's skin, and with a little force, the blade sank slightly, causing a slight pain.
The streaks of blood formed a bright red trail on the blade. With the subtle movements of Peach's hand, the blade trembled slightly, and blood quietly slid down Yue's neck.
"Have you been living among sheep for so long that you've forgotten how to fight?" Peach continued, her tone laced with cold sarcasm.
Yue's hands trembled slightly, and her heart pounded like a drum. She had never felt such a realistic sense of oppression in a performance.
Although she knew it was just a play on stage, at this moment, Peach's aura made it impossible for her to ignore the reality before her. The sharpness and coldness of the katana, the icy touch of the blade stained with blood, made her extremely clear-headed.
If she doesn't take it seriously, Momoko Kurosawa really will "kill" her.
Peach tilted her head slightly, her gaze as cold as a knife: "If they dull your brilliance and talent, then I will consider keeping you by my side again."
Her voice no longer held any gentleness, only endless coldness and resolve.
As soon as she finished speaking, she suddenly exerted force, and Yue's body was thrown out, crashing heavily onto the cold stage floor.
Yue's body rolled on the ground, her breathing became rapid, and the intense force still left her momentarily unable to recover.
Lying on the stage floor, panting, her fingers lightly touched the bloodstains on her neck, feeling the lingering cold pain. Her heartbeat gradually calmed down; the longsword in her hand still lay on the ground, shaken off by the impact.
Peach slowly stood up, gently flicked her katana, and waved it to shake off the bloodstains. The blood droplets drew an arc in the air and instantly disappeared into the dark corner of the stage.
Her movements were elegant and decisive, as if it were just a routine practice, and she showed no emotional fluctuation because of the "attack" just now.
"It seems... I have indeed become a bit lax..." Yue shook the blood off her hands and gripped the knife that had just fallen to the ground again.
"However... since... Momoko, if you want it..."
The moon slowly closed its eyes.
"Then let's fight!"
Yue's voice suddenly turned sharp. She abruptly opened her eyes, her gaze regaining its sharpness, as if all hesitation and wavering had been cast aside. The tip of her knife was slightly raised, the sharp edge reflecting the stage lights, pointing straight at Momoko Kurosawa standing on the opposite side.
As you can probably tell, the title and plot are a reference to the senior sister from Bloodline. Bloodline is really fun!
Climax Stage: Chapter 88 - The Showdown with Hai Xi
A meaningful smile appeared on Momoko Kurosawa's face, her lips slightly upturned, and her cold eyes flashed with excitement. "That's right, this is how it should be performed on stage."
Her voice carried a hint of pleasure and danger, like a beast that had caught its prey and sensed its resistance.
She slowly raised the katana in her hand, the blade gleaming sharply under the lights, like cold moonlight falling on the stage.
"Without Xiaoyue, I can't imagine how boring I would be on stage."
Immediately, her movements exploded.
As swift as her words, Momoko's blade, Ayame, seemed to approach, a chilling wind seeming to rise in the air. The blade flashed like lightning, slicing through the silence and striking directly at Hinasaki.
Seeing this, Yue did not hesitate. He gripped the Mo Dao in his hands tightly, turned his feet slightly, and turned his body slightly to the side, almost instinctively swinging his sword to meet the blade light.
With a crisp clang, the sound of metal clashing rang out on the stage, and the aftershocks echoed in the air.
Blades collided, sparks flying.
Yue felt the powerful force emanating from the peach-shaped blade, her tiger's mouth went numb, and the blade in her hand trembled slightly. However, she gritted her teeth, firmly gripped the hilt with both hands, and forcefully withstood this fierce attack.
As an opponent she had faced many times before, she knew that what awaited her next was a relentless and fierce pursuit from Peach.
Peach didn't stop; instead, her smile became even more flamboyant. Her movements were as swift as the wind. She raised her katana once more, the blade tracing a sharp arc across the stage as it struck towards Yue's left.
Yue's eyes flashed, and she quickly slid to the right, her sword drawing an arc that perfectly blocked Taozi's attack.
The two blades clashed once more, and "clang!" The sound of metal colliding rang out again, deafening.
The force of the clashing blades caused both of them to take a step back at the same time. Yue's heels made a slight scraping sound on the stage floor, but she did not relax at all, her eyes fixed on Momoko.
Peach chuckled, her eyes gleaming with fighting spirit: "Not bad, Xiaoyue, you certainly didn't disappoint me."
She lightly twirled the blade in her hand and slashed at the moon again without any mercy.
Yue took a deep breath, and the Mo Dao in her hand flew up and down with Tao Zi's attacks. The blade light flowed smoothly like water, blocking Tao Zi's fast and fierce attacks.
Her steps were swift, her figure moving as if she were dancing lightly on a stage.
Each of Peach's attacks carried overwhelming power; the blade almost tore through the air. Every time Yue swung her sword to block, a sharp pain shot through her wrist.
"Clang! Clang! Clang!" Blades clashed repeatedly, sparks flying all over the stage, illuminating the intense duel between the two.
Yue's breathing gradually became rapid, but her eyes remained sharp. She gripped the Mo Dao firmly with both hands, constantly adjusting her pace, searching for an opportunity to counterattack.
Peach's smile remained on her face, and the excitement in her eyes was even more evident.
The battle on stage has only just begun.
----------
"hu~hu~"
Shiina Tatsuki ran.
Just now, as she was about to head to Yue's house, she sensed that something was wrong.
It was morning, but the streets were eerily empty.
The surroundings were eerily quiet, and even the air seemed to carry a strange chill.
She glanced quickly at the shops on both sides and found that the glass windows displayed a wide variety of goods, but there was not a single shop assistant or customer in sight, like an abandoned ghost town.
"It's morning... why is this place so deserted?"
Lixi frowned, her fingers unconsciously tightening around the bag strap.
Since experiencing those supernatural events, she has become extremely vigilant about anything unusual.
Now, the street clearly exudes a strange atmosphere.
She continued walking, trying to shake off the tension in her heart, but the further she walked, the colder she felt.
Just as she was about to turn and leave, she caught something out of the corner of her eye. She stopped and noticed that there were several strange road signs neatly erected on both sides of the road.
The road signs were oddly shaped, seemingly out of place in modern urban design, and were awkwardly placed on either side of what should have been a normal street.
She felt an indescribable sense of unfamiliarity welling up inside her, and couldn't help but look in the direction indicated by the road signs.
She hadn't walked far when a deep voice broke the silence around her.
"Bass?" Lixi's heart skipped a beat, and she stopped in her tracks. The voice was incredibly familiar to her, like the deep, resonant tone of a bass.
“And this voice is…” Li Xi frowned, her unease growing stronger.
“Spring day… shadow?” she murmured, her heart suddenly jolting.
They ran in the direction of the sound.
------------
Shiina Tatsuki's heart pounded as she impulsively pushed open the doors of the Live House.
The door creaked with dissatisfaction as she pushed it open, and the performance hall behind it instantly unfolded before her eyes.
Dim lighting, blurry figures, and the deep bass sound permeating the stage—all these elements combined to create a scene full of mystery and rock 'n' roll atmosphere.
The performer on stage wore a military-style short jacket with ruffled shoulders and black and gold buttons and ribbons on the front, emphasizing its formality. She paired it with simple grey-white shorts and black knee-high boots.
"Oh my~ You've come much faster than I expected." Hailing's voice clearly reached Lixi's ears during a break in the music. She put down her bass and met Lixi's gaze directly.
“Hai…Hai Ling?” Li hope’s voice was filled with shock and disbelief. Although the person in front of her had changed a lot in appearance, she could still recognize that familiar temperament and face at a glance.
“Actually… you should call me Timoris now, but if it’s Lixi, I don’t care what you call me,” Hailing, or rather Timoris, replied casually.
"What exactly is going on?" Shiina Tatsuki asked, somewhat dissatisfied.
"It's nothing, it's just that a friend in the band wanted me to stall you for a bit, and I'm also quite curious about Riki's recent changes." Hachiman Kairin said casually as she drew a long sword from the ground.
"You know Li hope, right?" As the spotlight shone on Hai Ling, a black cloak slowly floated down from above, was grabbed by her, and tied to her shoulder.
“The so-called Revue.” Hailing pointed her sword at Lixi.
Climax Stage: Let's begin Chapter 89! Our Revue
Under the stage lights, Hinasaki and Momoko Kurosawa's figures clashed violently, each clash of swords carrying a cinematic visual impact.
"Bang—!" The two weapons collided violently in mid-air, producing a loud metallic clang.
"Is this all the skill you've got? If that's all you're capable of, then you might as well leave this stage sooner rather than later!"
Her voice was defiant, and as she spoke, the blade in her hand gradually pressed down on the moon.
Yue's expression was tense, her muscles were particularly prominent in the intense confrontation, the veins on her arms bulged, and the sword in her hand tightly resisted Taozi's attacks.
"...Whether or not you can get on stage...is not up to you, Peach!" she retorted, her voice a little hoarse, but her spirit was no less than Peach's.
"Then show me your determination, show me your brilliance!" Peach's voice echoed on the stage, full of challenge and sarcasm. The blade in her hand gleamed coldly under the lights, and the sudden increase in force forced Yue to retreat backward.
Yue's steps were already unsteady, and Taozi's aggressive attack caught her off guard, forcing her to rely on instinct to maintain her balance. She slipped and stumbled back several steps, trying to regain her footing, but her movements were still somewhat clumsy.
Peach gave her no chance to catch her breath, immediately launching a counterattack. Her blade moved with the agility of a cheetah, and a lithe figure closed in with lightning speed, her longsword flashing with a sharp light.
Before Yue could even regain her footing, Momoko's blade had already easily sliced through Yue's weapon, knocking it away with a crisp sound.
A cold, sharp blade flashed across the space between the two. Yue felt that her strength was no match for Taozi's, and her weapon was forced out of her hand, causing a sharp pain in her wrist.
Yue was forced to retreat to the edge of the stage, and for a moment she lost her balance and fell to the ground. She clutched her wrist, her expression clearly showing pain.
Peach's face showed no joy; she simply stared coldly at the moon on the ground. The tip of the knife pointed slightly downwards, and the disappointment in her eyes was as icy as ice. "If this is all you've got, then please commit suicide here to avoid defiling this stage."
Her voice was low and cold, like a verdict that brooked no argument. Every word was like a sharp blade, piercing the moon, which had already lost its weapon.
