Lin Lu pretended not to recognize Warfarin's identity and avoided her without making contact.

Although Lin Lu is currently wearing a hooded coat modified by the Army Without Borders, and the white shirt he changed into last night is stained with blood and has been sent to the logistics department for professional cleaning, he still smells of blood. If Warfarin loses control and does something outrageous in public, it would be troublesome.

"Ah ah ah..."

Warfarin stretched out her helpless little hand, her ruby-like eyes glistening, watching helplessly as Lin Lu poured the blood from the teacup onto the sink. But she didn't give up. As long as it wasn't washed away by the water, she still had a chance. Just one more step forward, just catch up—yeah right! You think my target is the bloodstain on the counter? Actually, my target is the Doctor!

Warfarin suddenly leaped, attempting to bite the doctor's neck; she had already smelled the fragrance from there!

Lin Lu acted as if he hadn't noticed anything, calmly dumping the kitchen waste into the trash can next to him.

Time seemed to slow down, and it looked like Warfarin was about to jump onto the Doctor's shoulder at any moment—

"I'm sorry."

A crisp, soft voice came from behind.

The air grew faintly hazy, and a long, purple tail swayed, its stinger, capable of controlling venom, gently touching Warfarin's lower back. The scorpion venom pierced the cleaner's disguise, landing on her pale skin, seeping into her nerves, and instantly subduing Warfarin.

"Well!!"

Warfarin rolled her eyes upwards and fell silent.

The purple-haired, red-eyed special agent, Lionscorpion, brandished her scorpion tail, silently coiling around the incapacitated Warfarin and binding her before her. Perhaps because it was the first time she had attracted such attention, she panicked and disappeared into thin air once more, surrounded by other operators.

"Thank you so much, Lion Scorpion."

Lin Lu thanked the Lion Scorpion who was hurrying away.

The girl, long forgotten, turned around in surprise. She stared intently at the doctor's figure, nodded and bowed somewhat awkwardly, and left with Warfarin, who was foaming at the mouth, wrapped in her scorpion tail.

The scorpion's departing figure seemed somewhat joyful, even her steps became lighter, unable to conceal her happiness. When she writes in her diary before going to bed tonight, she will definitely record this happy event and silently thank Dr. Kal'tsit in her heart.

Kal'tsit, considering that she might attract Warfarin's attention by hitting the Doctor too hard and drawing blood, arranged for the SWEEP Guard's Manticores to stand beside Lin Lu as secret bodyguards.

Lin Lu's data-driven spiritual domain and Amiya's telepathic abilities were both able to detect the presence of the Lion Scorpion. The reason he didn't greet her was simply to avoid hindering her mission.

"Let's go, Amiya."

Lin Lu placed the plate in the designated spot and washed his hands.

"Um……"

Amiya watched Warfarin's desolate figure disappear into the distance, hoping that the rain wouldn't be too heavy tonight, otherwise Warfarin would catch a cold hanging on the bridge.

The two left the Rhodes Island ship side by side and saw a familiar figure at the entrance to Land Hoof State in the fifth district of Lungmen Outer Ring.

Penguin Logistics' Texas leaned against a rather plain-looking but highly dangerous-looking black sedan. Exusiai, who had been chatting with someone, noticed Amiya and the Doctor and jumped up with a grin to greet them.

Beside them, Franka and Razer, private mercenaries from Blacksteel International, nodded silently.

"You're the doctor?"

Exusiai walked towards Lin Lu with a cocky air, staring intently at him as he wore a hooded hood and a heavy coat, appearing unremarkable on the surface. Originally intending to avenge Amiya, she suddenly became docile after a moment of careful observation.

"How...are you alright?"

As an angel, I am a gun-wielding angel who specializes in sending people to meet God.

Exusiai possessed exceptional sensory abilities, and she keenly sensed that Lin Lu's physical condition was terrible, and not just bad... If Lin Lu was in a precarious situation, then his pushing so many things onto Amiya might not have been his true intention. Exusiai tried to think from Lin Lu's perspective, and she suddenly felt that Rhodes Island... was remarkable and quite interesting.

At least, it's just as interesting as Penguin Logistics.

"Thank you for your concern."

Lin Lu looked back at Exusiai, and their eyes met unintentionally.

Under the gaze of those deep, cobalt blue eyes, Exusiai's delicate body trembled slightly, feeling as if she were confessing her sins before a statue in a church's confessional. It was as if she were being watched by a deity, and nothing could escape his gaze.

"Awesome!"

Lin Lu observed Exusiai's data; through her digitized spirit domain, he could see her exceptional talent. If only he could recruit her from Rhodes Island, he'd even accept being offered eight guns... Wait, the cold, beautiful woman next to her has amazing attributes too. Good heavens, are all the operators at Penguin Logistics this skilled?!

"Amiya, is that the Doctor?"

Franka gently put her arm around Amiya's shoulder and reminded her, "I have a feeling this guy is a scumbag. Amiya, you have to be careful and don't give him a chance to make a move on other women."

"The Doctor would never—"

Amiya's immediate instinct was to refute anyone who spoke ill of the Doctor. But upon reflection, she realized she couldn't refute the statement! The Doctor had only been back at Rhodes Island for a short time, yet his romantic pursuits hadn't ceased, and she'd discovered them every single time!

If there are things she hasn't discovered yet, then... wouldn't that be even worse?

"I will work hard."

Amiya clenched her little fists, completely unaware that a certain scoundrel was still thinking about how to poach staff from Penguin Logistics.

Lin Lu not only had his eye on Exusiai, but he also didn't intend to let Texas go. He was truly a piece of trash.

“Amiya, we’ve almost finished our work here, we need to go back to our old employer to report on the mission. But it’s okay, we’ll be back on Rhodes Island in a little while!” Franka suddenly lowered her voice and whispered a conspiracy, “I’ll bring you some information about health and physical education when I do, remember to hide it well. If anyone finds it, don’t say I gave it to you!”

"Uh-huh!!"

Amiya is at an age where she's interested in the differences between men and women, but the medical operators on Rhodes Island, under pressure from Dr. Kal'tsit, dare not directly tell Amiya how to handle these matters. Even Kroos doesn't dare to engage in this kind of business, and doesn't even dare to show Amiya a pure love doujinshi, fearing that Kal'tsit will hang it on the bridge to watch the sunrise.

Now that Amiya finally has access to such resources, she will naturally cherish it.

Seeing Franka's malicious smile, Razer knew she was planning another prank and warned, "Amiya, if Franka does anything bad to you, tell me and I'll teach her a lesson... Hey! How long are you going to hug Amiya?" Razer's last sentence was directed at Franka.

Franka blinked, then exclaimed in surprise, "Jealous?"

"Eat your head, my foot! Come here!"

Razer twisted Franka's waist and skillfully subdued her.

In a sense, it's a real shame that these two don't start an online stand-up comedy show.

Amiya smiled, a hint of envy in her eyes, and chuckled softly, "I'll miss you."

Razer responded, "Amiya, we'll see each other again soon."

Franka gave a cute laugh and said, "Don't miss me too much!"

The two have very different personalities, even their ways of speaking are completely opposite, yet they complement each other so well that they have a harmonious relationship.

"That's great, it's a pity we don't have that kind of legitimate reason here, Texas." Exusiai nodded in a very old-fashioned way, and before Texas could even complain, the bear angel started to talk about Versailles, "At least we have a day off! Although it's only one precious day, how many companies can have one day off a month like us! In this life, getting one is a bonus!"

"Wait a minute..." Texas skillfully grabbed the halo on Exusiai's head, pulled the brat over in an instant, and pressed her head down to apologize to Amiya and the Doctor, "Sorry, this is not the kind of thing to say in this situation."

"It's alright." Lin Lu wasn't the kind of person who would flaunt his power just because he had a little bit of authority. He was different from people like Wei Yanwu. He always maintained humility and courtesy, and always had a strong curiosity about the outside world.

"Exusiai is right, rest is necessary."

Amiya helped the penguin logistics duo up as they bowed their heads in apology, but she didn't expect that Texas, who had always acted cool, would actually show a warm smile and hold her hand in return.

“Amiya, I should be the one telling you that ‘rest is necessary’.”

“That’s right, that’s right!” Exusiai tilted her head back, immediately understanding what her reserved friend, who wasn’t good at expressing herself, was thinking, and chimed in, “Amiya, it’s time you got some rest! Pushing yourself so hard all the time will break you!”

Amiya stood frozen in place, feeling the other person's genuine concern, and her eyes welled up with tears.

"Rhodes Island still has many things that need to be dealt with..."

"That's true, but...aren't I still here?"

Lin Lu gently placed his hand on Amiya's shoulder, transferring warmth to her.

"Don't put too much pressure on yourself, Amiya. No matter how strong your belief is, your body won't be able to keep up if you keep working yourself to the bone." Razer genuinely acknowledged Amiya's performance on the battlefield, but she also knew that Amiya would collapse if she continued like this.

Franka, unusually serious, patted the Doctor on the shoulder and said earnestly, "Amiya is in your hands now, Doctor. I did my research before coming to Rhodes Island, and I know how capable you are... You can't fall down. You are the light in this child's heart. Everyone is counting on you, so please pull yourself together."

Lin Lu never expected to be encouraged. He had always thought that what he had done was a matter of course, something he should do... Only now did he feel the sense of mutual support.

"I will."

"It's all up to you now."

Franka waved her hand deftly: "Our mission is almost over. Next... Amiya, Doctor."

"Please speak," Lin Lu gestured.

Amiya wiped her eyes and smiled, "I'm listening."

Exusiai stood beside Franka, and the two looked at each other and smiled.

Before the Doctor and Amiya arrived, the two of them had been rehearsing, wanting to surprise them.

"Keep it up!"

"Cheer up!"

Chapter 357 Chen and the Infected Girl (4K)

The black sedan drove smoothly along the official road of Longmen.

Soft music was playing inside the car, and a clear, pleasant, and lovely female voice could be heard.

Exia seemed to have entered energy-saving mode, sitting quietly in the passenger seat with her eyes closed, resting.

Texas sat in the driver's seat, hands on the steering wheel, fingers rising and falling in sync with the music, its tail swaying rhythmically from side to side. This caused Lin Lu, sitting in the back seat, to sway along with Texas, his gaze following its every movement.

Shocking! I have a beastman enthusiast right next to me!

Amiya, sitting in the back row, wasn't paying attention to Lin Lu at the moment; otherwise, she would have been very envious of the Lupo tribe's fluffy tails. As a member of the Cartes tribe, her tail wasn't actually short, but due to her racial characteristics, it would curl into a small ball of fur, and pulling it even slightly would cause her to cry from the pain. Usually, it was hidden by her skirt and loose coat.

Amiya leaned against the window, watching the fine rain falling outside the car. This rain was caused by the chimera she released yesterday when she transformed into an Ark Knight and projected another version of herself through the Driver.

Amiya is different from the Doctor. If the Doctor's stunning sword strike in Chernobog cleared the sky and Terra's air quality index reached its purest level in recent years, then Amiya's performance was remarkable.

The thunder unleashed by Amiya plunged the earth into darkness, as if the end of the world had arrived. Rain, highly radioactive from Originium, fell on the desert, soon condensing into new Originium, resulting in the highest air pollution index in recent years.

It's like part of the natural cycle; whatever is taken away will be harvested.

Amiya clenched her small hands. She remembered the feeling she had when her power erupted—an unparalleled joy. To be able to destroy and annihilate anything, to completely unleash the malice within her—she shook her head. She couldn't think like that; she couldn't let the weight of history change her mind. She had promised someone that she would never use this power for evil.

"...Longmen".

Because of the rain, the neon lights that lit up early in Longmen illuminated the highway clearly. Occasionally, vehicles could be seen moving forward, and the desolate scenery gradually became richer, with distant lights faintly visible, revealing the city's unique charm.

Amiya quietly observed the city; this was the first time she had ever observed Lungmen with such a peaceful mindset. When she first arrived, she was met with a nighttime attack by the Reunion Movement, followed by two days of being in a daze while the Doctor was missing. Yesterday was even worse; the fatigue still lingered, as if she could fall asleep the moment she closed her eyes and rested.

Amiya thought to herself, her eyes unconsciously closing as she quietly relaxed her shoulders.
