I'm practically a mini-millionaire by all accounts.

"Okay, would you like two cakes, or would you like to combine them into one large cake, which is larger than the two cakes combined?"

After receiving the money, the classmate's smile widened, and he earnestly explained.

“Let’s combine them,” Yuko Takanashi nodded and said.

"Ok!"

After entering the classroom, Shiraishi Sawa finally understood why this person was so happy to see him, because even though it was close to lunchtime, there wasn't a single customer inside.

Only two girls with the word "help" on their arms, presumably staff members, were idly playing on their phones.

Most people are deterred by the price and would rather spend that money on more diverse activities.

"Suda-kun, Shigematsu-kun, our second order for today has finally arrived after an hour! Hurry up and serve them!" The boy at the door said loudly when he saw that the two girls inside did not react.

"Ah! Excuse me! Have either of you ever made cakes before..." Ayano Suda hurriedly looked up, but her words trailed off halfway through.

Her friend, Shigematsu Kokomi, looked up in confusion and exclaimed in surprise, "Shiraishi-san and Takanashi-san!"

"Hello." Takanashi Yuko nodded slightly and said with a smile, while Shiraishi Sawa Hide also nodded faintly.

It's perfectly normal to recognize them at this school.

"Excuse me, is this the top study club team building activity?! We just watched your MV this morning, it was amazing! Can we get your autographs?!" Shigematsu Kokomi rushed up to Shiraishi Sawa Hide and Takanashi Yuko with paper and pen.

"Thank you," Shiraishi Sawa and Takanashi Yuko both took a half step back. They had never seen such enthusiastic 'fans' before. They then signed their names, and noticing the look in the eyes of another girl next to them, they signed their names again on another piece of paper.

"Can we start making the cake now?"

"Sorry! It's okay, we'll get you the materials!" The two girls blushed at the question and quickly went to the side to organize their tools.

"Shiraishi-kun, you're still very popular," Yuko Takanashi said with a smile.

“Shouldn’t it be the two of us?” Shiraishi Sawa walked to his seat, sat down, picked up the tools on the table, looked at them, and said.

“Both of them came up to you asking for your autograph,” Yuko Takanashi said after thinking for a moment.

"That's clearly because I'm standing in front of you."

"Mr. Shiraishi, could you please give me your autograph?"

"You took all the homework books from last semester, didn't you? They're all covered in signatures after you tore them up."

"Okay, I'll take the rest to recycle. It's a bit of a hassle to keep them at home."

Looking at Takanashi Yuuko, who had thought for a long time before nodding and speaking, Shiraishi Sawa realized that she really would do it.

"Never mind, I'll sign it for you when we get back."

--

The two girls served the two of them a chiffon bread about the size of Shiraishizawa's fully outstretched hand, roughly six inches in size.

It's definitely enough for two people.

"Is this your first time making a cake? Would you like me to show you around the tools and how to use them?" Shigematsu Kokomi asked, standing next to the two of them.

"No need, we're all pretty good at this, and besides, if it's just decorating a cake, we don't need to know any tools, right..." Shiraishi Sawa said doubtfully.

After all, the cake is already baked; all that's needed is to brush on cream and jam, and decorate it. The only tool I'll probably use is the spatula on the table.

"Hi! Excuse me, please make yourselves at home."

That's what they said, but Shiraishi Sawa could still feel the two people staring at her intently. Fortunately, a new group of customers finally arrived, and the two girls got busy again.

Yuko Takanashi has already started brushing cream onto the surface of the chiffon cake, while skillfully rotating the cake tray and scraping off the excess cream with a spatula.

"Are you so skilled at Takanashi?" Shiraishi Sawa asked, somewhat surprised.

“Because I’ve studied pottery sculpting before, this is pretty much the same,” Yuko Takanashi said, looking up. “Could you pull my hair, Shiraishi-kun?”

Seeing the 'rebellious' strand of hair that had appeared in front of Takanashi Yuuko's eyes, Shiraishi Sawa Hide tucked it behind Takanashi Yuuko's ear.

--

"Ayano! Those two are acting so intimately! You're going to be heartbroken!" Shigematsu Kokomi nudged Suda Ayano in the waist with her elbow, gesturing for her to look.

"Aren't Shiraishi-san and Takanashi-san related?" Suda Ayano asked, puzzled.

"If they're relatives, then Shiraishi-kun and that Kotori Sumire are relatives too? How could that be!"

"You're right..."

"So!" Shigematsu Kokomi said excitedly, but trying to suppress her excitement for the sake of her friend.

"I think Shiraishi-san and Takanashi-san might be a couple. And if that's the case, maybe they even kissed at the end of the MV! Big discovery! I'm no longer supporting either the young lady or President Su; I support Takanashi-san!"

"Don't talk about these things behind my back, but Takanashi and Shiraishi seem to be a good match."

.......

--

"Let me try Takanashi too, it looks like a lot of fun." Shiraishi Sawa regretted asking for a cake, because if he only asked for one cake, he wouldn't be able to help when Takanashi Yuuko was playing, and could only watch.

"Okay, be careful with the cream. I've only been spreading it for a short while, and I already have some on my hands." Taking the tissue that Shiraishi Sawa handed her, Takanashi Yuuko used the tissue to wipe the excess cream off the spatula and piping bag.

Shiraishi Sawa reluctantly pulled out a few more sheets, pulled Takanashi Yuko's hand away, and pressed the paper into her hand.

"I gave you paper to wipe your hands; you can use the tools yourself."

"Aren't they all the same?" Yuko Takanashi finally picked up a tissue to wipe her hands, then picked up her phone, checked the messages, and said:

"Shiraishi-kun, Kuramochi-san asked me where I am and wants to come find me. May I tell him?"

“Go ahead and say it,” Shiraishi Sawa said, both amused and exasperated. “We’re not doing anything shameful, so what can’t we say?”

“Okay,” Shiraishi Sawa pulled the plate of cake closer to himself. “Now watch me show off my skills.”

......

Sometimes you can learn a lot of idioms in your daily life.

For example, today Shiraishi Sawa learned: "adding a dog's tail to a sable coat," "a tiger's head and a snake's tail," "a phoenix's head and a chicken's tail," and "starting with Takanashi Yuko and ending with Shiraishi Sawa."

Of these four words, the fourth one is the most derogatory.

When Shiraishi Sawah tried to scrape off the clumps of cream he had piped out for the fourth time, he gave up. He wanted to pat his face with his hand, but then he remembered that his hands were covered in cream, so he could only shake his head to express his reluctance.

It's strange. I have no artistic talent. I can only make Ostrovsky's eggs out of clay, and now I can't even squeeze this out.

"Takanashi, why are yours butter flowers and mine are butter lumps?" Shiraishi Sawah put the piping bag on the table and gave up, picking up the tissue that Takanashi Yuko handed him to wipe his hands.

"Shiraishi-kun, you can't use that much force." Takanashi Yuko picked up the piping bag, laid it flat, and brought it close to Shiraishi Sawahide.

"Look, there's a slit cut in the front of the piping bag. To make butter flowers, you have to squeeze gently, letting the butter slowly come through the slit, and then release your hand at the end to create the tip of the flower."

......

"I understand! I'll try again." After listening to Takanashi Yuko's explanation, Shiraishi Sawa Hide suddenly realized that he was too strong.

"come on!"

Shiraishi Sawa used extremely light force this time, and it took him more than thirty seconds to squeeze out a barely acceptable flower.

"Nice! Absolutely perfect."

Shiraishi Sawa extended her hands, and Takanashi Yuko gave her a high five in response.

“Shiraishi-kun, sometimes you’re like a little kid, and other times you’re incredibly mature,” Takanashi Yuko said.

"You can understand it this way. First of all, I'm precocious. Although I'm only sixteen or almost seventeen, my mental age is already decades old. Secondly, you have to remember that a man is a boy until he dies, so it's not surprising that I'm childish sometimes."

Finally, this flower is truly perfect.

Even though it doesn't look as good as the other buttercream flowers that Yuko Takanashi squeezes out in three seconds.

"I understand, I will remember it."

“What’s the point of writing this down?” Shiraishi Sawa handed the piping bag to Takanashi Yuko. “You can do the rest. If I do it, we’ll be past lunchtime by the time we eat the cake.”

"Okay, thank you for your hard work, Shiraishi-kun."

"It shouldn't be considered particularly strenuous."

Unconsciously, or perhaps unconsciously by the girl, the distance between the two had become so small that only light and dust could squeeze through.

Shigematsu Kokomi, who was standing nearby, started patting her friend's thigh to signal her to look.

"That's definitely true, they're a couple or about to become a couple! After all, it's pretty romantic to think about a man and a woman making a cake together."

"I think we should do a team building activity instead. Isn't the club that Shiraishi joined one of those clubs that doesn't have many people to begin with?"

"But isn't Miss Kuramochi the director of the music video? And I heard this morning that Miss Kuramochi is the head of the top academic club, so why didn't she come to the team building event?"

"What should I do? At the very end of this morning, our audiovisual classroom wasn't even full. There's a long line in front of the bad woman. If I lose even though I have the time advantage, I'm doomed. Yuko, comfort me."

Kuramochi Sakura walked in with a mournful face, sat down next to Takanashi Yuuko, and rested her head in the girl's arms.

Suda Ayano pointed at Kuramochi Sakura, who had said "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear," and shrugged at Shigematsu Kokomi.

Shiraishi Sawah watched her rubbing against him and began to suspect Kuramochi Sakura's intentions.

"It's okay, how about I ask the classmates who haven't seen it yet to come to your page and help you increase the number of people?"

"Thanks, Yuuko, but never mind, there's no point in winning like that."

Would you like me to decorate the cake?

Kuramochi Sakura seemed to only then realize where she was. "You guys are making cakes here! Damn it, I should have come with Shiraishi-kun this morning."

Kuramochi Sakurai took a piping bag from the table and piped buttercream flowers onto the remaining edges of the cake.

To Shiraishi Sawa's astonishment, Kuramochi Sakura managed to decorate butter flowers that were nearly identical to those of Takanashi Yuuko at a rate of about one every five seconds.

"Kuramochi-san, you used to make cakes too?" Shiraishi Sawa asked in surprise.

"No, I don't cook. It's dirty and tiring."

"You're so skilled at piping cream?"

"This?" Kuramochi Sakura held up the piping bag in her hand. "Do I need to learn this?"

"..."

"Of course not... haha... no need." After saying this somewhat awkwardly, Shiraishi Zexiu, who hadn't initially covered his face, now covered it.
