"Well, I haven't seen you post much on social media either."

"Because they disdain it and are too lazy to send it, even if a bunch of girls flatter you on the surface, who knows what they'll be saying behind your back." Chiyo continued to look at the scenery of Hōda Village.

Hideaki Shiraishi continued browsing through Chiyo's photo library—not using large images, but rather scrolling through the photo preview screen.

Although they meet frequently, many of the "Ichiyo Ichiyo" in the photos are people that Shiraishi Sawa Hide has never seen before.

As you swipe your finger, a red and white photo suddenly comes into view.

This...this is...a shrine maiden's outfit!

Shiraishi Zexiu subconsciously swallowed.

Even a simple photo of Chiyo sitting quietly on the bed is incredibly alluring; she is the true shrine maiden who can captivate the soul.

Shiraishi Sawah opened the large images and carefully browsed through them one by one.

Shortly after, Shiraishi Sawa Hide swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

From this point onward, Chiyo's shrine maiden outfit no longer includes the white undergarment; it consists only of a white outer robe and scarlet hakama. In the middle of the white upper garment, a snow-white hue, even more dazzling than the clothing, is faintly visible.

The deep ravines in some of the images proclaim the grandeur of Mount Fuji, making it a truly worthwhile peak to climb.

However, that's the limit. Shiraishi Sawa glanced at Ichiyo, selected all the photos, and 'forwarded' them to Shiraishi Sawa.

"What did you send me using my phone?" Noticing the notification on her phone, Chiyo turned her head and leaned closer.

"I just sent you your little secret for your approval." Shiraishi Sawa said righteously, showing no remorse for what he had done.

"Just don't forward it to my mom." Chiyo wasn't annoyed at all and waved her hand dismissively. "This is a try-on. I originally wanted to give it to you as one of your birthday gifts, but then I decided against it."

"What do you mean, 'Don't show me this,' Chiyo? Don't create distance between you and your dear mother." Nao Ichirin curiously turned her gaze from the stage where the performance had already begun.

"The scenery of Hōda Village." Ichiyō Chiyo showed off her mobile phone.

"I do not believe."

.....

"Is there a chance to make it up? For example, on my lunar birthday?" After Ichigo Nao started looking at the award ceremony again, Shiraishi Sawa asked tentatively after careful consideration.

"Don't even think about it. Right now, unless you make the right choice, I'll give you whatever you want to see. Maybe I can even wear the Emperor's New Clothes."

There is a devil whispering in Shiraishi Sawa's ear.

"[Super Memory], [Super Memory], just bear with it for a bit, we'll have our chance."

Shiraishi Sawashu calmed the restless "hypermemory," or rather, he calmed himself.

Hideaki Shiraishi continued to admire the photos taken by Chiyo Ichiryu, but sadly, there were no more cosplay outfits available.

"Have you looked carefully? I've looked at yours carefully."

There weren't many photos of Shiraishi Sawa, but Chiyo quickly flipped through them from beginning to end, and then turned to ask.

"Soon, there are still more than 10,000 copies left," Shiraishi Sawa stated honestly.

Chiyo tossed Shiraishi Sawa's phone back onto his stomach, glanced at the awards stage, where the Minister of Culture was still rambling on.

"It's only two o'clock, so boring." Chiyo adjusted the back of her chair slightly to make herself more comfortable without affecting the space for the audience behind her.

"I'm going to take a nap. Remember to wake me up later."

"Understood." Shiraishi Zexiu continued to focus on the photo album in his hands.

--

"Chiyo, your dad's coming on stage, let's give him a round of applause..."

Nao covered her mouth with her hand to stop herself from making a sound, and looked at her daughter who was leaning against Shiraishi Sawa.

Her long hair, like its owner, was draped lazily, covering her ears and profile. No one could see her sleeping face except for Shiraishi Sawa, who was facing her directly. Her left hand was placed between the chair and her long legs, while her right hand rested on Shiraishi Sawa's arm, which was resting flat on the armrest.

Her pale fingers were slightly bent, as if searching for something she longed to grasp.

Unable to sleep, Shiraishi Sawah abandoned his right hand and used his left hand to scroll through Chiyo's phone. A calm yet warm smile graced his handsome profile.

"You two are really a perfect match, like a match made in heaven," Nao Ichiryu teased softly.

Shiraishi Sawa pretended not to hear.

Chapter 250 Boredom and Mr. Boredom

Feeling her hand being pulled forcefully, Chiyo struggled and pulled back along with the hand of the person who was holding her.

"Fox, it's time to leave. It's not appropriate to sleep here," the man said.

It's his voice, so I'll open my eyes and take a look.

The girl reluctantly opened her eyes. The crowd had already stood up and dispersed, and the stage was empty. Only the plastic fragments on the ground after the fireworks were released were reflecting the colorful lights on the stage.

A hand was fully open and then waved in front of his eyes. "Are you awake? Are you awake? Baby Fox, if you're awake, say a tongue twister for me."

Chiyo tossed the hand she was holding away, her tone slightly disdainful:

"White Stone, ugly, disgusting, repulsive, damn it..."

"Stop! If you're going to do a tongue twister, at least give me a proper one: なまむぎなままめなまたまご (raw wheat, raw rice, raw egg)! What homophones are in the words you just said?"

Although Chiyo's tongue twisters sounded a bit strange, it proved that she was starting to wake up.

"Shiraishi-kun, you're quite the smooth talker," Nao Ichiryu teased, seeing that Chiyo Ichiryu had already sat up straight and begun her formal 'wake-up process'.

Shiraishizawa Hide wasn't sure if she'd been run over by a car wheel, and he couldn't decipher Nao's expression at all, so he could only nod modestly.

"I'm really good at tongue twisters, もももすももももものうち (peaches and plums are both peach plants)."

"Momo... never mind, I can't even continue." Ichiri Nao gave it a quick try and then immediately gave up.

“Mother, please don’t be as naive as this person. His naivety can sometimes exceed everyone’s imagination.” Chiyo finally stood up and said to Nao.

“Auntie, you know Chiyo’s temperament; she never tells the truth.”

“Wait a minute, when it comes to not telling the truth, you two are equally bad at it,” Nao Ichiryu commented.

"In this respect, I am completely inferior and dare not compare myself with Baishi."

"Be modest, be modest..."

......

The three of them walked out of the awards ceremony, chatting amongst themselves. It was only a little past four o'clock, but the sun had already set, leaving only a faint red glow on the horizon, like a scene from a movie.

"Shiraishi, would you like to join us for dinner later? I'll take you around Chiyoda tonight; there are many places worth exploring here," Nao Ichiri asked.

"Dinner party, is Uncle here?"

“I forgot about that. It seems like it is. Should I kick him out?” Nao Ichijin said, resting her chin on her hand as if deep in thought.

The main character of tonight's dinner should be Yumi Ichiru, who received the Medal of Culture. Is it really appropriate to drive him away?

"No, Auntie, I won't have dinner with you tonight. Besides, I have something to do tonight, so I have to leave now."

Even if Yuuki isn't there, Shiraishi Sawashu won't go; Soga Kirei must already be waiting at the door.

"Ah! What a pity, I was almost ready to come up with a reason to get rid of him." Nao Ichiri said with some annoyance, as if all her efforts had been in vain, and then looked at Shiraishi Sawa Hide with resentment.

"I'm leaving now!" Shiraishi Zexiu waved and quickly made his escape.

"Bye-bye." Nao and Chiyo, mother and daughter, simultaneously stretched out a hand and waved each finger back and forth.

"Why are you back again?" Just as she was about to turn around and head to the banquet venue, Chiyo Ichii looked at Shiraishi Sawa and asked as he turned back.

"How could you forget your phone? I never forget my phone, even if I forget my textbooks when I go to school."

Shiraishi Sawah held Ichiyo's phone in his hand and handed it to her as he approached.

"After all, I'm not an internet addict."

After Shiraishi Sawa left, Ichiyo went to the banquet hall while playing on her phone.

“You still say you’re not,” Nao Ichiryu said.

"Because it's so boring."

--

Shiraishi Sawa looked at the map, considered his own skill level, and after much deliberation, decided to turn off his phone and follow the flow of people.

Fortunately, Kikyo Gate was the main entrance, and soon Shiraishi Sawa saw the gate that he had only ever seen on television.

"Drip!"

As Shiraishi Sawa went outside, the clear sound of a car horn caught his attention. In the driver's seat of that car sat Akiko Saba.

Seeing Soga Kirei's expectant eyes, and knowing that the distance wasn't far and she shouldn't get carsick, Shiraishi Sawa opened the back door and got in. Even though there was plenty of space in the back seat, the girl still only left herself a barely enough room.

Have you had dinner?

"Not yet, I came over as soon as the awards ceremony ended."

"Then let's go eat together later."

"it is good."

"Miss, where are we going?" Akiko Saeba, in the driver's seat, turned and asked.

"Go to Marunouchi?" Soga Kirei looked at Shiraishi Sawa.

"It's up to you, I'm fine with anything."

"Then let's drive to the shopping district near Marunouchi."

"Okay lady."

--

"Have fun, and just text me half an hour before you're ready to go home."

Marunouchi is actually near the Imperial Palace, so it's not far. Akiko Saba quickly took the two of them to the ground floor of the new Marunouchi building.

"Want some barbecue?" Soga Kirei asked, for a simple reason: there was a traditional yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant in the group of shops on the far side.

Shiraishi Sawa, who hated making choices the most, naturally nodded without objection: "Let's have barbecue, it's been a long time since we've had it."

The shop's decor leans towards a warm and inviting style, with all the walls, tables, and chairs made of wood, featuring textures that may or may not be natural.
