For example, the Tontatta Pirates, composed of 200 Tontatta warriors, have now become Robert's subordinates. The entire tribe lives a carefree life on Skypiea, and the younger members are having a great time playing around Hela. They certainly won't follow Luffy anymore.

As for the New Giant Warrior Pirates, they were tricked by Robert and sent back to Elbaf. It's still unknown whether they've returned to Buggy's side, and they probably won't be with Luffy anymore.

Although Robert didn't interfere with the remaining followers, the biggest problem was that Dressrosa, the main battlefield, had been destroyed, and Luffy had no chance to recruit those subordinates.

Robert was afraid that because of his own actions, Luffy would not be able to reach the heights he was supposed to reach and would ultimately fail in the fight against Im. So he was thinking about how to bring Luffy back some opportunities.

But now there is an even more pressing situation at hand: Fishman Island.

While Robert may seem to have kept the plot of Fishman Island unchanged, it's not really a butterfly flapping its wings across the ocean; it's more like Xu Kun transforming into a roc, flapping its wings wildly at Fishman Island.

Since the Whitebeard Pirates were not completely wiped out in the final battle, Fishman Island has essentially remained occupied.

Although their geographical location is very important, ordinary pirate crews dare not provoke the Whitebeard Pirates for Fishman Island, and the Four Emperors' crews have no reason to provoke this trapped beast for the ownership of an island. This is why Fishman Island has not yet been occupied by the Big Mom Pirates.

The Tamatebako containing the bomb wouldn't have been taken back to Whole Cake Island in a daze, and Luffy wouldn't have declared here that he would henceforth protect Fishman Island and then declare war on the Four Emperors.

The plot has completely changed since then, and Robert has no idea which direction it will take, so he can only take it one step at a time.

To be honest, despite Shanks's frantic activity, Robert is actually more panicked than Shanks, his mind filled with thoughts of how to help Luffy regain his former status.

He disembarked just as the Thousand Sunny was about to plunge into the sea. He made a promise to go back and take care of his own affairs before taking Ace to Fishman Island to meet up with them, which allowed him to escape.

Luffy now understands that Robert has his own path to follow, and he has already surpassed him. So everyone just reminisces, and no one mentions inviting Robert to join the crew anymore.

Robert's original plan to use two years to grow freely and accumulate enough strength to protect himself before switching to a crew-following style, sticking to Luffy's side and sneaking into the final rounds, has now failed.

The main force returned to the Sky Island, and Robert quickly made arrangements for the development in the coming period.

York, despite lacking a physical body, can still stay by Robert's side at any time through headphones, essentially acting as a hypothetical AI assistant in the cloud.

All members of the Tontatta tribe are responsible for taking good care of Hela, who is Robert's team's ultimate weapon in the future. The little people, who are skilled in planting, bear a heavy responsibility.

Da Luo took over the administration and economic development of Sky Island, and was responsible for providing logistical support for all other projects.

Marco continued to stay on Sky Island with the Whitebeard Pirates' officers. He was of a tranquil nature and did not like to run around causing trouble, but he was also very powerful, making him the perfect person to stay behind.

Baby-5 wisely refrained from asking to stay with Robert. Instead, she chose to remain on Hela to learn about Hela's main cannon from York. Even if she were to learn it now, she wouldn't be able to simulate it. But Robert's plan for her was to develop a future world-destroying weapon, so it's always good to learn early.

The rest of the people chose to go to Fishman Island with Robert.

Karina, Uta, and Padon didn't say anything, but Robert understood their attitude perfectly. Redfield, who considered himself strong, had failed to protect the juniors he respected twice, and now he would not stay behind.

After this battle, Sugar got along better with Robert's team. When he heard that they were going to the mysterious Fishman Island, he tentatively suggested that he also wanted to go and see it.

Add to that Ace's insistence on seeing his brother, and Sabo's phone invitation, and Robert felt that even if all three admirals were present, his team's fighting strength could withstand them head-on. So he simply made a bold decision:

"Let's go, everyone who wants to go! Let's go!"

"Fishman Island!"

Chapter 15 The Pearl of the Sea

Robert had considered separating Fishman Island as well, as doing so would solve a major problem.

After abandoning Fishman Island, at least the first major storyline after Luffy sets sail again, as well as the subsequent Whole Cake Island arc, will soon be back on track.

If the Whitebeard Pirates officially announce their abandonment of Fishman Island before Luffy sets sail, other pirate crews will definitely eye this prize.

If any ignorant pirate crew were to occupy this place, Big Mom, as the Yonko crew closest to the Red Line, would certainly not stand idly by and allow such a strategic enclave, so close to her territory and so important, to be occupied by a small force. She would turn around and bring it under her control.

This way, when Luffy arrives at Fishman Island, he can resolve the conflict between humans and fishmen according to the original storyline and naturally declare war on the Big Mom Pirates.

However, after weighing the pros and cons, Robert still decided to leave Fishman Island as the White Group's last territory in Qinghai.

This place is extremely important. As the passage connecting the New World and the Paradise area, and with all ships unable to pass through the Red Line, Fishman Island's importance can be said to be number one in the world.

The existence of the Red Line in the One Piece world is simply outrageous. First of all, it is tens of thousands of meters high, several times higher than Mount Everest, and the mountain has no slope at all, it is completely perpendicular to the sea level.

Cliffs of this height are impossible to climb with bare hands, which is why the legend of Tiger, the captain of the Fishman Pirates, climbing the Red Line to liberate slaves with his bare hands is so widely talked about.

However, later events proved that the story of Tiger climbing the Red Line with his bare hands was a complete fabrication. He was captured as a slave and taken to Mary Geoise, where he was rescued by Shanks, who pretended to join the Knights of God, which caused the chaos in the Holy Land.

The Red Line encircles the world of One Piece, dividing the planet into two parts. Logically, people on either side of the Red Line should never be able to meet in their lifetime.

However, two openings were left in this geographical wonder, the first being the Upside-Down Mountain.

Each of the four seas has a waterway that flows upstream. Regardless of whether it's scientifically sound or not, the waters of the four seas simply flow straight upstream towards the summit of the Inverted Mountain, which is over 10,000 meters high.

If you believe you're tough enough, you can ride this waterway straight to the top of the Red Line, and then follow the only downward waterway to enter the Grand Line.

For someone born in the West Sea or the North Sea, this is the simplest way to cross the Red Earth Continent and reach the other side of the world.

However, if people from the East China Sea and the South China Sea want to go to the West China Sea or the North China Sea, then the Reverse Mountain is useless, because even if they are lucky enough to survive and their ships are not damaged while traveling down this waterway, they will only appear in the Grand Line after being swept down the downstream waterway, and will not go to the other side of the mountain.

If they want to cross the mountain, they only have two options: walk to Fishman Island or take the sightseeing elevator in Mary Geoise.

The sightseeing elevator requires reservations and a clean identity, and it can only be used by individuals alone; neither boats nor cargo can be brought in, which obviously does not meet the needs of the vast majority of people.

The underwater passage to Fishman Island has become almost the only option to cross the Red Line continent. Unless someone can master the technology of snail ships like the Germa 66 Kingdom and climb cliffs tens of thousands of meters high, the only other option is to coat the ship with a coating and go through the Fishman Island tunnel.

The Strait of Malacca and the Panama Canal are nothing more than ways to save ships a lot of time traveling around, yet they can still make a fortune.

Fishman Island is not just about saving time; it's the only way, the only option. Even if the people here do nothing, the taxes will be poured into the national treasury by caravans and pirates.

So even though the Whitebeard Pirates suffered repeated defeats in the final battle and lost almost all of their territory in the New World, they were unwilling to give up on this place. Instead, they chose to retreat to Fishman Island and fight there again by taking advantage of its geographical location.

The money Robert made on Fishman Island without doing anything was more than all the businesses he built up in Dressrosa.

But after saying all that, this is still not the main reason why Robert is reluctant to give up Fishman Island.

Robert kept Fishman Island for two main reasons. First, he coveted the unique races of mermaids and fishmen.

One of the reward skills is the "Epic Achievement" option. For each additional country or large organization whose reputation you reach "Exalted," your Conqueror's Haki weight will increase.

The Mermaid Kingdom is a country in itself, and the Mermaid race can be considered an organization. As long as you build up your reputation here, your Conqueror's Haki will at least increase by two points.

When he clashed with Shanks earlier, Robert already felt that his Haki was on par with Shanks's current level of mastery of Conqueror's Haki. If he added two more points of power, he was afraid he could go toe-to-toe with Shanks.

The second reason Robert couldn't give up Fishman Island was that he had his eye on its location 100,000 meters below the sea.

This place is practically a natural graveyard for Devil Fruit users. Robert asked himself honestly, if he didn't have the help of an ability like the Door-Door Fruit, once he was trapped on Fish-Man Island, he would surely die if the outer bubble broke.

The only thing Robert isn't sure about right now is whether Im is also a Devil Fruit user. Despite everyone speculating about what Devil Im ate, as long as the story doesn't explicitly state Im's ability, it's possible she didn't eat a Devil Fruit.

Once Robert is certain that Im has also eaten a Devil Fruit, he will not hesitate to choose Fishman Island as the location for the final battle. As long as Im is lured there, all that's needed is to deal with her ability to teleport around.

After solving the problems of bringing her to Fishman Island and restricting teleportation, there's no need to even consider how to defeat her. Just leave the merfolk here, pop the bubbles outside, and let the seawater flood in to drown this world's big boss, restoring peace and order to all races!

Robert stood at the bow of a medium-sized ship, envisioning a glorious ending with a decisive battle on Fishman Island, unaware that the ship had already reached the seabed ten thousand meters below.

This time when he came to Fishman Island, he didn't ask Da Luo to open a teleportation portal. Instead, he honestly took a ship that Bai Tuan had left in Qinghai, coated it, and then submerged it underwater.

The ship was filled with top-tier experts, and none of them showed any fear in the face of the menacing sea kings around them. Even Little Padon comfortably perched on Redfield's shoulder, pointing and gesturing at them.

Robert wasn't just lost in thought while standing at the bow of the ship; a casual release of Conqueror's Haki was enough to scare away any Sea Kings that were about to attack the ship.

Later, Sugar and Padon got a little unhappy and complained loudly, telling Robert not to chase away all the big fish.

When the ship arrived at Fishman Island, Robert called everyone ashore to find Luffy, but Ace frowned deeply.

Something's not right!

"Why haven't we seen a single member of the Coast Guard along the way?"

Chapter 16 will become an important part of my metaphysical landscape.

Unlike Luffy and his crew, the Whitebeard Pirates, as protectors of Fishman Island, travel between the surface and underwater year-round and have an intimate knowledge of the sea routes there.

The Thousand Sunny was not following the proper ocean currents from the moment it began its dive, and all the dangers it encountered were because it did not take the main route.

So although they encountered all sorts of hardships and dangers along the way, they never met the official guards of the Mermaid Kingdom.

Robert and his crew followed the sea chart provided by Ace, taking the most proper diving currents by boat. They only encountered a few passing sea kings along the way and arrived at Fish-Man Island safely. It was rather unusual that they didn't see the Coast Guard.

Robert slapped his forehead: "Oh no! We underestimated how fast Luffy gets into trouble!"

The passage of time in the One Piece world has always been a mystery, but because the update speed is too slow, everyone has overlooked the fact that the span of events in the story is actually so short.

The Fishman Island arc lasted for two whole years, but in the story, only one day passed before Luffy resolved the long-standing feud between fish and humans.

Robert was only thinking about getting Hela away as soon as possible to prevent the World Government or Shanks from realizing what was happening and destroying her, but he forgot to let Luffy set off first, even if this part of the story was about to be over in just one day!

He transported Hela back to the island, and even took time to hold a work meeting along the way before turning around and returning to Qinghai with his people.

This was only because the ship had been prepared and coated with a protective film long ago; otherwise, it would have taken even longer to arrive.

Robert was starting to panic. It was the first time he had experienced what it meant for a day in the sky to be a year on earth. In the time it took him to hold a meeting, Luffy was already clearing out the Fishman Island arc.

The electromagnetic induction instantly expanded into the interior of Fishman Island. Robert's heart, which had been hanging in suspense, finally died. Large numbers of fishman pirates were smashing, looting, and burning everywhere, shouting slogans of revenge against humans.

Robert narrowed his eyes, not in a hurry to go to the Ryugu Palace: "Hey Ace, weren't we Whitebeard Pirates being a little too friendly before?"

Ace realized that something must have angered Robert, and explained, "Father and King Neptune are old friends. Their so-called occupation of this place is more of a one-sided protection, and they have never implemented any oppressive policies."

"Even after Father passed away, we maintained a strong friendship with the Dragon Palace Kingdom. What happened?"

Robert chuckled and shook his head: "So the ones who have connections with Dad are the merfolk, right? I think the merfolk are getting a bit arrogant; they're actually planning a rebellion!"

The Ryugu Kingdom is composed of merfolk, whose upper bodies are humanoid and whose lower bodies have fish tails, and fish-men, whose bodies are humanoid but whose heads and faces resemble fish.

Although in the minds of people at sea, mermaids and fish-men are underwater monsters, a type of fish, this prejudice is very narrow.

For many years, the Dragon Palace Kingdom has been dedicated to ensuring that all its citizens can enjoy equal treatment with humans, rather than being simply treated as fish, even in the sunlight.

To achieve this goal, the Merfolk have devised a method of peaceful evolution, and for many years have sought to cooperate with the World Government in order to improve the status of their citizens.

The fish-men, on the other hand, were more radical. They believed that fish-men were stronger and could breathe underwater, making them a naturally superior race to humans. Therefore, they believed that humans should be conquered by force and that fish-men should become the masters of humans.

It's not a matter of right or wrong between these two approaches. If Robert were in the position of the Fish-Men, he might also have chosen to lead his people in resisting oppression.

But here's the problem: while the individual strength of the merfolk is indeed greater, their population base is too small.

The humans on the sea are not only numerous, but also possess a higher level of technology. After scientific training, their combat power is in no way inferior to that of the fish-men. The fish-men are almost wiped out, yet they are still here practicing isolationism and self-identification. Isn't this just pure suicide?

Just like on Fishman Island now, the plot has finally gotten back on track with the arrival of the jinx Luffy.

Previously, because the Whitebeard Pirates had been stationed here, Hody Jones, who believed he had inherited the will of the Fishman Pirates, could not find an opportunity to rebel and had been secretly lurking in Fishman Town.

The White Gang's management of Fishman Island was very loose due to years of tacit understanding. They never interfered too much with local life, and at most they would show their strength when outsiders caused trouble. Of course, they did not eliminate these rats in the shadows.

Until a few months ago, Robert transferred all the Whitebeard members to Sky Island. Sky Island's territory is much larger, and the existing Whitebeard members scattered across various islands couldn't even make a ripple. Therefore, Robert sent Vista and more than a dozen other squad leaders back to Qinghai to reunite the old brothers who had been scattered back then.

With numerous vacancies in management positions on Skypiea, control over Fishman Island was relaxed. The Whitebeard Pirates left only a small squad of elite pirates stationed at Ryugu Castle to ensure the safety of the Fish King Clan.
