Hawkeye looked at Crocodile and said, "A bet's a bet. I promised you that if you guessed correctly, I would build a force with you. Let's set off now. This is all I have in my luggage, and my only companion is Perona."

Crocodile grinned. "Our ship is already docked."

Hawkeye said softly, "Us?"

Crocodile laughed and said, "It can't be just the two of us creating an organization that the Navy can take seriously. The newly appointed Shichibukai member, Buggy the Clown, has Buggy Express, which I invested in and built. Our new organization can be directly based on Buggy Express."

Hawkeye scoffed, "You want me to join a mercenary company founded by a clown?"

Crocodile shrugged: "Don't worry, we're recruiting him, not joining him."

Hawkeye, having received Crocodile's reply, reluctantly agreed: "Let's go then, to meet the new king of Dressrosa."

Crocodile laughed and said, "We need to take another detour; I'd like to invite another partner."

Hawkeye narrowed his eyes at Crocodile. He was able to accept an alliance with Crocodile because the two had some acquaintance when they joined the Seven Warlords of the Sea at the same time.

He couldn't even accept Buggy the Clown, a fellow Shichibukai and a scoundrel, so when he heard Crocodile was going to invite someone else, he immediately frowned.

Crocodile noticed Hawkeye's resistance and explained with a smile, "Don't be so sensitive. I wouldn't invite any unreliable guys."

Hawkeye persisted: "Who else are you going to invite?"

Crocodile met Hawkeye's gaze directly: "Empress—Boa Hancock!"

Chapter 7 Naval Hunters

When Crocodile invited Hawkeye to form the Cross Society together, he simply made a phone call to him.

By then, Zoro had returned to Luffy's side, and Perona had left excitedly after seeing news of Gecko Moria in the newspaper.

Hawkeye has always been indifferent, and he had already heard rumors about abolishing the Seven Warlords of the Sea, so when Perona left, he not only did not stop her, but even encouraged her.

When Hawkeye was the only one left on the island, he didn't even get angry when the Navy came to surround and kill him; he just wanted to avoid the limelight.

Crocodile's invitation was a good way to relax at that time, and Hawkeye readily accepted.

Now that Hawkeye has brought Perona along, he naturally has more concerns. If he were to join a shoddy team or some clueless partners, he could easily walk away. Perona, on the other hand, carries some risks.

However, Crocodile's invitation method happened to change due to Robert's intervention. First of all, he had already made contact with Bucky, instead of only thinking of asking Hawkeye for the debt from back then after inviting him.

Crocodile is now practically the de facto ruler of Bucky Delivery. He can make decisions about who to invite to join without consulting Bucky.

However, Crocodile did not become more arrogant because of this; instead, he personally visited and invited Crocodile.

Moreover, Crocodile only called Hawkeye, without even asking the Empress.

The reason for this change is precisely the confidence that Pakistan Express gave him.

Without Pakistan Express, Crocodile would feel somewhat hesitant when inviting others.

None of his old comrades from the Seven Warlords of the Sea were inferior to him in status or position. Hawkeye was much stronger than him, and Boa Hancock had the entire Amazon Lily behind her, making her an extremely powerful figure.

If Crocodile were still empty-handed, with only Mr. 1 as his confidant, he would definitely have given up inviting the powerful Empress, just like in the original story, to avoid her coming and then riding on his head.

Inviting Hawkeye would only be a tentative phone call, a half-hearted attempt to see if anything was possible.

Now he has his own powerful team, and even without anyone joining, they are a large and influential organization, so he is naturally more confident when inviting others.

When Hawkeye heard that the other invitee was the Empress, he felt somewhat relieved.

"The Empress may not agree to join us."

Crocodile nodded in agreement: "The Amazon Lily lives in the Calm Belt, so it doesn't usually face any danger."

“Those women are natural-born warriors. With such a powerful force behind Hancock, there’s a very high chance she won’t join us.”

"But the situation doesn't allow her to have a choice now!"

Hawkeye's expression hardened: "What do you mean? Are you going to force her to join? If so, I'm afraid I won't play along."

Crocodile said calmly, "The Navy first went to besiege Dressrosa, but we abandoned it long ago and moved on to Whole Cake Island, taking over all of Big Mom Pirates' territory."

"The Navy did not achieve the desired results in its operation to annihilate Pakistan, and it will inevitably have to regain some face elsewhere."

"I already ran into the Navy on my way here. This time, the Navy has shown you a lot of respect. The warships that came are enough to launch a Buster Call."

"If you surrender, things will be better for Hancock."

"But what if the navy also suffers a defeat here?"

Hawkeye immediately saw through it: "The Amazon Lily is in danger."

Crocodile nodded: "Yeah, we couldn't catch Buggy, and we couldn't catch you either. Among the Seven Warlords of the Sea, besides those like me who have been removed from the list, the only ones left to use are Amazon Lily to establish our authority."

Hawkeye tilted his head and said to Perona, "Grab your luggage and let's get going."

Perona mumbled something, but still obediently summoned a ghost, which materialized and carried both her and Hawkeye's luggage.

The three of them walked quickly through the dense forest, with countless gorillas standing on both sides with reluctant expressions, watching Hawkeye and Perona leave.

Pakistan Express's fast ship set sail, and in the distance, they could see tiny sparks of fire igniting on the sea.

Crocodile waved his hand, and the yellow sand surrounded their ship, obscuring its lights in the night.

Hawkeye stood at the bow of the ship and said, "Remove the sand. They came to my house to cause trouble. If I want to leave, I have to hide."

Crocodile, with a smug smile on his face, obediently removed the yellow sand and even lay down on a deck chair, adopting a "I'll watch you show off without lifting a finger" attitude.

Crocodile's ship was full of Buggy's Express elites. Before setting off, they knew that Crocodile, a well-known pirate, was leading the team. But when they arrived at their destination, they learned that the person they were there to pick up was Hawkeye.

With two such powerful figures on board, the pirates completely disregarded the Navy and headed straight for the Navy fleet that had come to capture Hawkeye.

As the two sides drew closer, the lookouts on the warship spotted the ship that had sailed out of Klaigana Island and quickly sounded the alarm, illuminating the sea with searchlights.

With over a dozen warships each commanded by a lieutenant general, Crocodile was right; this force was more than enough to launch a Buster Call.

Hawkeye stood silently at the bow of the ship, holding a black knife. The naval lookout immediately identified the target, and countless messages began to circulate among the fleet. Orders to encircle were issued, and more than a dozen warships formed an arc-shaped battle formation.

Hawkeye didn't open his eyes until he was less than a nautical mile from the warship in front of him. He exuded a terrifying aura, and although his voice wasn't loud, it traveled clearly through the sea breeze to the ears of the surrounding navy:

"I'm going out for a walk to clear my head. Anyone who dares to disturb a single blade of grass or tree on Klaikana Island while I'm away..."

"My title as a naval hunter isn't just for show!"

Before becoming a Shichibukai, Hawkeye loved to travel the world seeking out sword masters to hone his skills. However, the organization with the most sword masters on this sea was not the martial arts school in Wano Country, but rather the Navy.

Over time, as he defeated more and more naval experts, he inevitably earned the title of "Naval Hunter".

Hawkeye and Zoro are master and apprentice, one a marine hunter and the other a pirate hunter, they are quite a good match.

Hawkeye slashed his black blade downwards, the blade's energy so strong it split the sea in two, passing through the two warships blocking his path.

The surging waves surged rapidly to both sides, nearly capsizing the warship.

The Pakistani Express ships quickly broke through the encirclement along the split current. All the lower-ranking naval officers were sweating profusely, and seeing that their superiors had given no other orders, none of them dared to decide to turn back and pursue.

"Lieutenant General, what's happening here?"

A navy officer mustered his courage and asked.

The lieutenant general leading the team, Fire Mountain, took a puff of his cigar and said nonchalantly:

"It's not like we didn't try to stop them, it's just that we couldn't."

"Let's go help Kobi over there!"

Chapter 8: Let's honestly compete with Luffy for fourth place.

On the beach of Wano Country, Kid looked indignant: "Let's call it even."

Robert chuckled and said, "Don't you feel like you're getting the short end of the stick?"

Kidd raised his head and said, "Back in Marineford, you gave me the opportunity to develop a powerful skill, and I helped you shoot Akainu. We're even now."

"Later, when I passed by Beehive Island, I saved your life from Akainu, which is what you owe me. This time in Wano Country, you had Law save me again, so that's how I repay you."

Robert shook his head: "Let's each talk about our own issues. Robert was captured and taken to the rabbit quarry a few days ago. You helped him escape. Now that he's back to save you, it just means you two are even."

"Whether you just happened to be passing by Beehive Island or you came here specifically to save me because you consider me a friend, I still owe you my life."

Although Kidd looked disdainful, he couldn't help but smile slightly when Robert said he considered him a friend.

When they landed on Sabaody Archipelago at the same time, Robert was worth more than him and forced him to cooperate in developing the electromagnetic railgun. Kidd was really itching to get his hands on him.

However, after the Marineford War, Kidd truly believed Robert was dead, and all he could think about was the guilt of his own operational error. He had long forgotten that it was Robert who had forced him to participate through force.

Afterwards, when Kidd heard that Robert had faked his death to escape, although he was furious, he was secretly glad that Robert hadn't died.

Indeed, as Robert said, he regarded Luffy, Law, and other supernovas from the same era as both rivals and friends.

Robert, on the other hand, has improved far too much in the past two years. He had already overpowered the other Supernovas in the Sabaody Archipelago, and now he is the first to become one of the Four Emperors.

Although Robert's position as one of the Four Emperors was somewhat due to inheriting Whitebeard's legacy, he was indeed the first to defeat Charlotte Linlin in a direct confrontation on Whole Cake Island.

Moreover, Kid was completely passively involved in the Wano Country incident.

He was completely out of luck when he ran into Kaido, who was falling from the sky island. He was caught off guard and fought a brutal battle, only to be utterly defeated and captured in Wano Country to work as a miner.

When Law, Luffy, and Ace arrived at the Udon mine and led the miners in a rebellion, Kid felt that he was inferior to the others.

So all three of them came to challenge Kaido on their own initiative, while he was the only one who was captured by Kaido to mine and had to be rescued by others.

So even after they rescued all their brothers and joined forces with the Straw Hat Pirates to attack Onigashima, and together they defeated Kaido and Charlotte Linlin, Kid always felt like he was just an extra.

Luffy defeated Kaido alone. During Luffy's ultimate attack cooldown, Ace and Zoro blocked Kaido and Big Mom's super combination attack.

Defeating Big Mom required the combined efforts of himself, Ace, and Law, so the credit must be divided among three.

So when the Flame Festival banquet ended, Kid immediately proposed leaving Wano Country.

He would never participate in the division of Wano Country's resources; Kid is concerned about his reputation and feels that this would be taking advantage of others.

Luffy and Ace were still fast asleep; only Robert and Law came to see them off.

Luo asked with a grin, "Are you trying to make up for all the time you lost before? You're not even willing to stay a couple more days to catch up with everyone?"

Kidd curled his lip: "I can't stand being here for another day. You guys haven't been here long, but I've been locked up for months!"

"Besides, that bastard Robert has become one of the Four Emperors. Unlike you, I'm not so easygoing as to work for someone else. My goal is to become the Pirate King!"

Luo looked at Robert, who nodded. Luo opened his ROOM and a thick stack of documents appeared from somewhere.

"These are the Road Poneglyphs I collected from Wano Country, Whole Cake Island, and Zou. Once I find the last Road Poneglyph, I can complete the treasure map that points to the One Piece."
